master nodes can also run one at the time ,meaning is you have a wallet with 10K PIVX thats a master node if you can supply diff port # on start it will collect and run as separate process.. never tried on same machine and you might exhaust your machine but see if you can pull it off... that is launch multiple processes passing diff config file to pivxd (looking up a parameter but it will be like bitcoin param that can take config path) obviously you will have sep config (pivx.conf) for each master node.. that you want to run (on same machine) but I am sure your CPU will spike.. but do let know how it goes.. let me see if I can find param you can find to pivxd would be from a command line: ./pivxd -(some para) path to config ie ~/.pivxd-mn1/pivx.conf never tried same machine wold be better if you have more than one (in which case a machine become a master node 1:1_, but then see the guide if you have more than one machine.. a ok so from the command line ./pivxd --conf=<path to a config file> ie same machine (lol disclaimer never tried it but do let know! saves on hosting providers fees lol) ./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-1/pivx.conf (wallet 1 in this folder with 10K PIVX) ./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-2/pivx.conf (wallet 2 in this folder with 10K PIVX) ./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-3/pivx.conf (wallet 3 in this folder with 10K PIVX) but your Mac or Windows might go 100% CPU usage but hey! another point is if you can afford > 1K $ coins you can afford a hosting fee.. but then you really need to consult a guide as God forbid you give coins to a hosting providers... aaand quick check on exchanges.. we heading for 7 mil market cap |

taking beagle bone an ARM processor device and libzerocoin ran their unit tests, 0 problem and fast , big future in front of us
if a small device can run thru this algo in such a speed any other devices will do n x times as fast
to the credit of this dev team if I would build my own coin (and wanted but time..) I would do coin exactly like this one

I sold dash at 20 , it happens , but then gain I bought some valuable other properties for dash and PIVX it makes sense to have full node.. with dash I was not willing to take that chance.. many did.. so there ya go
and here ? > 1/2 of the software has not yet been written and already 5.5 mil... I say this is going higher much higher and I have solid record on predicting in many cases (dash pre-mine is daaangerous so that triggered my decision otherwise I would not sell)

Not yet. It is currently using the same method as DASH. But not for long as we are getting libzerocoin implemented. If this coin is going to be more anonymous than DASH could it be as big or even bigger than DASH ? Are there any reasons why it couldn't ? put it that way. This could really become the Silver of Anon Coins with some serious Real World Usage Price should follow the Development and Adoption. I remember Dash aka Darkcoin at 8-10Cents in 2015. Still some Road ahead for PIVX. Thats what it makes such a good Buy atm. thank you, I think so too Progress and Roadmap are an A+ in my Book so far. |

weak point of dash happens to be ongoing POW phase, there are sophisticated ASIC X11 devices out there, you stand no chance, use your GPU's for gaming (nice break from crypto actually) and save your energy (mental and electrical)
But supply is also tight........I think they have found the sweat spot maybe, I just find high price of entry of 10K $ last year encouraged narrow demographics of distribution , overall I am not out there to put down anything or anyone...if something works it works.. inflationary model here is also well thought out, and even if supply grows.. it is de-accelerated , self see this in daily payouts.. I mean after all they were like 25 DNET before and now... anyways.. this is all beginning stages of something big, ultimately is coin use that will decide if community builds up and then zcoin protocol then next natural thing is a market place a retail place and auction like place (long term projects) but might as well speculate.. I dont know if you saw but zcoin has also been dragged in the upwards direction (caught in time in trading time) we are tied to it by the virtue of upcoming libzercoin.so lib.. and that is cut edge.... zcoin is EXTREMELY tight in supply and has slow block growth curve.. algo computation time is probably contributing to it.. even wallet itself is still not polished... and requires babysitting.. but people are lining up to purchase it right now.. regardless. why ? potential...algo appears unbreakable and for us it is good for zcoin going forward will use code review and spot things like = is not equal to == (which was found recently in the lib) but these are trivial errors.. and yet VERY important to catch if zcoin lib is integrated with all the current patches and blockchain flows without breakdown, 3.5 mil mc will look like a good time to buy  cheers |
