this is a problem on your side, it might be a strange browser plugin that is doing this (try firefox?)
or, more probably, the problem is your tethering, it might be that your mobile provider is blocking websockets.

I am trying to use this, but cant click anything Sad

No buttons work & how do I set the bet? I am using chrome via a mobile phone tether.

Completely serious. I sent .01 as a test to see if it was working and the whole thing emptied. Is there a way to find out what happened or even who did it? I can make up the lost Bitcoins in an odd job or something, so I don't care if I ever see those again. I just want the thief punished.

Ok, I've called mr Poirot. If anyone, he'll find your thief.

You changed from SHA256 to MD5.

Your Trust string looks like this:

md5("[[1,0,0,0,1],[0,1,0,1,1],[1,0,1,1,0],[0,1,0,0,0],[0,0,1,0,0]] 6194c0e2ffb667fa41385e16d9fb010b")

Due to weaknesses in MD5, it is entirely possible to fudge the array (on the left) and quickly compliment the arbitrary string (on the right) to generate a colliding MD5.

If you are going to continue using MD5, I recommend replacing the long arbitrary string with a sequence of 3 common dictionary words that maintains a strong entropy but makes colliding MD5 values nay impossible.

wow you are right, I wasn't aware that attacks on md5 progressed so much. the last time I was hearing about it is by those guys that created a rouge certificate authority. they had a cluster of 200 playstations and two days.

thanks.

My wallet literally sent you its contents by itself and games started rapidly playing until my wallet on the site emptied. Anny chance of looking into what happened there? It looks like my wallet was stolen and sent to you, but I don't see what possible benefit that could have for whomever did it. That was kind of my paycheck for this month that I just got today. I have to wait another month to get groceries unless this gets solved.

are you serious?
287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Head to head games for prizes? on: March 03, 2012, 05:47:41 PM
Make it Arimaa. It's a game explicitly designed to be more difficult for AIs than it is for humans.

yeah "go" is for example one of the more known ones that is hard for computers. but also, while possibility of bots does eliminate some of the games immediately, it isn't a huge problem but a thing to keep in mind.

if its a custom and complexish game, with partial information or such, it becomes increasingly difficult to write a human competitive ai for it, and people capable of doing so pby have better ways of earning money. and this is combined with site owners actively banning bots.

I've been thinking about something like this for a while.. problem with money and games like this is that people are attracted to exploit them with bots, so thats thing to keep in mind.

games of skill seem much more attractive to me then games of luck

i sent some bitcoin to my account on the website (only .01 to give it a try) and its been comfirmed by the bitcoin network but it doesnt say i have it in my balance.

damn, sorry,
I had two other reports like this in the last few days. please provide me with your info via pm or contact@bitcoinlab.org and I'll fix it.

you have a very well done site. nice statistics, data exporting, looks great.
291  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: February 03, 2012, 11:40:58 PM
thanks, when I got into bitcoin I didn't know what to do with my coins Smiley and the games I've seen I didn't like so I tried to do it better then what was around at that time. I will get into it again soon I hope and make something new.

and its balanced by a simple equation. games like this are not hard to 'balance'
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: February 02, 2012, 02:34:50 PM
why down?

fixed it.

good question: nothing, I let you cash this out if you wish and I'll loose money on transaction fees. I hope nobody will abuse this as there is nothing to gain from it.
and that amount will be kept there for you forever in your account.
I've tried the game, nice little game :-)
But since I'm not yet seriously mining and don't want to buy bitcoins for real money (yet) I only spend 0.04 BTC and now I have 0.005 BTC left in my account.
Since you said you would loose money on the very low transactions, is there a way the cancel my account and donate this 0.005 BTC to you?
Maybe I'll play the game another time in the far future, but I really doubt I would still have my secret url to access my account.

feel free to send it to yourself, I don't mind. by abusing I was thinking of sending a lot of small transactions for no reason. and if you want to leave it, just ignore it. the btcs are in the system and they are residing in the same pot Smiley
294  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: January 29, 2012, 06:21:19 PM
now ill waste even more time and btc for the cause Smiley

if you start a minefield charity of your own the game will be unbalanced towards you. maybe a strategy to ponder?
295  Economy / Services / Re: Introducing the Bitcoin100: A Kickstarter for Charities on: January 29, 2012, 05:04:29 PM
There is a gambling game called Bitcoin Minefield and they are thinking of donating part of their profits to a charity if the charity would accept Bitcoins.  I suggested we (Bitcoin 100) could contact them with our incentive.  One of the charities they are looking at is http://www.icbl.org, The International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

I suggest we send them a Bitcoin 100 intro letter as the game thread has already contacted them once with the idea.  See:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28009.0

I think this would all tie together nicely!

hey ppl, I'm running the bitcoin minefield,
this is a good idea and I pledge 5 btc, and will automatically donate 20% of the game profits to a minefield related charity if we manage to set this up. as I said in that topic, I'd prefer the demining organisation versus the lobbying one, but that's not a deal breaker.
296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: January 29, 2012, 04:56:44 PM
I'm looking at the bitcoin100 topic. looks good!
I'll send 5 btc and give you the blockexplorer link, and will automatically send 20% of the profits to minefields related charity if we figure that out.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: January 29, 2012, 04:16:09 PM
Maybe some of the profits could be donated to a charity that provides assistance to victims of minefields.

Like BurntSnow?

Possibly the "International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL)"
http://www.icbl.org

I just sent them a message to ask if they accept donations in bitcoin.

even though the relation is cute because the game is called bitcoin minefield, If I'll send the profits to charity I would like to choose the cause myself.

which I didn't say I will. and you are obliviously pushing me, which I find is not very nice.
I'd much more appreciate something along the lines "hey, you can give the profits to charity, here is how"
then contacting random organisations almost in my behalf without my feedback.

that said, I'll hardcode sending of percentage of the profits to the mines related charity if we can find a way to do it because I like the idea Smiley I'd much more prefer the demining organisation though, then the lobbying one, if I'm not making a mistake with my quick glance at the site.

in case you are not just trolling, for the next time, maybe try a gentler approach because my reaction towards you is still negative, but its not negative towards the idea so thanks for that Smiley

also, be aware that the profits from the game are not high.
298  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: January 29, 2012, 05:36:20 AM
someone went in with 1 btc on max mines and won 22 with first bet Grin
it was so clean I initially thought it was a hack, but everything checks out.

burntsnow? googling didn't help me Smiley

- edit

oh, haha.

a good strategy to cheat might be to start a minefield charity and then play this game.

hey, yeah, I increased the rake in order to support upping the referral earnings from 5 to 10%, as I got bunch of requests for that, I was forced to do that in order to prevent a person with two accounts from exploiting the game.
