281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 12, 2022, 01:15:10 PM

Even with his mojo back, Joshua will not be having any success against Fury or it is highly unlikely. The purse split is very generous, under normal circumstances any boxer including Joshua should take the challenge but Joshua (even though he is not in the right frame of mind) is aware that another defeat would be the end of his career.

This offer to fight has come at the wrong time for Joshua.

It's not going to be the end of his career. Nobody expects him to win just like they didn't with Usyk. Best he can do is give a great performance and get the critics back on his side. Even after Fury there's plenty of other options - Wilder, Ruiz trilogy, and other fighters on Hearn's roster like Chisora and Whyte etc and I'm sure Eddie will give him some tune up fights if this Fury fight doesn't happen. Frank Warren did re-emerge the other day to say they put a pause on negations after the Queens death so at least this fight isn't also dead. I was getting a little worried with the radio silence of all parties, but maybe they're busy negotiating now. Like I said before, I'm sure AJ and Hearn don't want to let this fight go but that Dazn deal is going to have to be worked into the contract somehow as I can't see them stepping aside.

Chimaev caused a total mess and I think he deserved to be pulled of this card, but that would ruin all training camp effort of his opponent.
I think we are going to see lot of surprises after this shakeup and switch with main and co-main event, so will see who is better prepared for this.
Just checking the odds on Sportsbet and I like the odds on Nate Diaz to win against Ferguson, and I think Holland can take one round from Chimaev.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/mma/ufc/ufc-279-chimaev-vs-diaz/matches

Yeah, he probably should have been pulled. His attitude after it was terrible. I kinda really wanted to see him face Diaz and was one of the people thinking he could give him a good fight but after Nate's performance against Ferguson I think Chimaev would have also finished Nate off in the first round. No idea what Nate was doing. He spent half the fight walking around and at one point it seemed like he didn't even want to go on as he was just walking away shaking his head like he didn't even wanna carry on. I'm sure Nate will be back in the UFC soon enough. Looks like he's wanting some of that big boxing money but if someone like Jake Paul doesn't fight him he might not have many options. I'm sure there's been talks about fighting Jake but Jake has a lot of options. It would probably be an easy fight for Jake as well as just pure boxing isn't going to be Nate's strong point. I could see him coming back for the Connor trilogy seeing as McGregor is seemingly open to that. Connor is gonna need some easy fights to get himself back into the swing of things and seeing Diaz's performance I don't think it would trouble Connor as much as the first two.

Thought Jingliang Li was robbed in his fight. No idea how a lot of these judges score fights but I haven't seen anyone saying D-Rod won that.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 10, 2022, 11:23:49 AM
Am I the only person here thinking Fury is absolutely 100% serious about wanting this fight to go ahead but Joshua is dragging his heels? For me it seems as though Fury wants a warm up fight before taking on Usyk next year in February 2023 for the unification fight and he is more than confident he will demolish Joshua.

As for Joshua, he is not jumping for joy at the chance of fighting Fury for the WBC and other titles on the line considering Joshua himself has back to back defeats including losing all his heavyweight titles and belts to Usyk. Even Bob Arum (the US promoter for Fury) said Joshua and his team are not trying hard enough to make the fight happen.

AJ probably doesn't really want the fight right now. Can we blame him? In an ideal world he would probably want to have one or two tune up fights to try get his mojo back before being fed to the sharks but Tyson pretty much unexpectedly dumped the fight on him out of the blue and it's a catch-22 situation where if he doesn't take it he might not ever get another chance, not to mention fans are going to hound him like crazy for turning the fight down. The one thing that might be holding AJ from signing onto the fight straight away is his Dazn deal. AJ has signed a long-term exclusive contract to Dazn but this fight is going to be a 100% Fury show so AJ likely won't be able to sign onto something without working Dazn into the deal which obviously complicates things. I'm sure AJ knows he's not going to get a better deal than 60/40 and might not get the chance to make this fight again and probably does want to take the fight but it's not as easy as just signing the short contract Fury sent over. The talk of this fight has died down pretty fast with Tyson practically going MIA on social media after posting about the fight almost constantly on Instagram stories, but that could be a good thing if they're trying to work it out behind the scenes. Hearn hasn't given any updates either so that leads me to speculate they're probably really busy trying to get it done. I'm sure we'll hear something soon because if this fight doesn't happen then both Fury and AJ will probably be fighting some bums in Nov/Dec and will need to get those shows on the road.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 09, 2022, 02:48:06 PM
I'd prefer Tommy Fury, but honestly I feel like Tommy's trying to get free publicity rather than actually wanting that fight. I see him as a reality star more than a boxer, and I think the Fury family somewhat sees it the same way.

Anyway, Anderson Silva is a real test despite not being a proper boxer. He's got the skills, and evasiveness, maybe not so much these days, but it's a risky fight for Jake. You'd expect Jake to win, and I imagine the odds would reflect that, but if he doesn't then he's been up staged by a ageing MMA veteran.

I'd be absolutely shocked if he manages to make easy work of him on the other hand, so I don't think this is a easy fight. Unlike his previous fights, Anderson isn't gun shy, and knows how to box. So, we'll see some activity. I said in another thread though, I bloody hope he doesn't knock Silva out, as I'd be devastated.

I dunno. I think he's kinda desperate for this fight given his social media posts. He couldn't do anything about the broken rib the first time and now it's the visa issues which prevent him from fighting in the states, though given that Tommy didn't even bother going to the embassy to try sort it had made me question his motives. I still think this is the best fight for both of them. Tommy will be getting next to nothing for his fights on Tyson's or whoever's undercard whereas he's going to get millions for fighting Jake and it's going to give him huge publicity in the states where he's a essentially a nobody right now or at the most just Tyson's little brother but I'm sure most people still don't know who he is.

It will be fun to see Jake fall down to the ground and stop looking down at the UFC fighters but he actually has the chance to also KO Silva. Silva is not very mobile because of his leg injury, seems very delicate for him to do some side steps that might crack again. When you get old, your bones get brittle and brittle. Not much difference in their reach so Jake could also throw jabs from a distance. It's all just timing.

Problem is that mma doesn't exactly crossover to boxing.  Not only is Silva too old boxing wasn't his sport to begin with.  Not sure what people are exactly expecting out of him.  Should be another great boxing match.  Roll Eyes

I find this to be a lazy criticism. Boxing is still a huge part of MMA if not the most utilised combat style in the sport. It's not like UFC fighters can't throw a punch or something. Sure, Ben Askren was terrible but he was widely known for his grappling and he used to just take it to the ground straight away. He was so predictable that Masvidal knew exactly what he was going to do and kneed him in the head right out the gates. At least Jake is taking it up a notch with every fight as he should, but let's see how far he can take this. I'm sure he's working up to something big if he keeps this momentum going.

Problem is that mma doesn't exactly crossover to boxing.  Not only is Silva too old boxing wasn't his sport to begin with.  Not sure what people are exactly expecting out of him.  Should be another great boxing match.  Roll Eyes
Anderson has already had like 3/4 bouts, and beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, which I do recall he was a heavy underdog in the fight. Also beat Tito Ortiz, and both of these were like a year or so ago. So, arguably he has the same experience that Jake Paul has, but in additional also has MMA experience. So, this isn't a boxer vs a MMA guy, at least not completely. Silva made his bread, and butter in MMA, but he's had a decent boxing career, albeit only a short one.

Jake Paul technically is fighting someone who has fought in boxing before, whereas before they hadn't.

People this whole thing where people think a 47 year old Silva who boxed 3 times is a good fight to watch is insane.  Mma and boxing are 2 wildly different sports even though sometimes they look the same.  For a natural boxing fan watching this crap it's cringy when ypu watch these guys try to box "professionally".  It's fun for a round like a car accident ypu can't look away but to think it's a solid match to watch is....  Roll Eyes

Have you even watched Jake's fights? If you didn't know who he was and caught the fight on TV you wouldn't question whether he was a boxer or not and this is something echoed by a lot of respected fighters and commentators like Joe Rogan etc. He got one of the best KOs of the year against Woodley and Woodley has won a fair few UFC fights with KOs and is no pushover. The only criticism I would have of this fight is Silva's age but he's still a beast and is beating people in boxing so it seems a fairly fair fight given Jake's experience level right now.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 09, 2022, 02:28:33 PM
Fury every day of the week, and twice on sunday! (Yes, I'm paraphrasing Fury there). Honestly, I think there's a massive difference between the two, and while I definitely want to see it, that's only to confirm it in reality rather than in my mind, that Fury is the best thing to come out of the UK boxing scene in a very long time. Especially heavyweight.

Joshua probably gets one last big pay out after this fight, and it'll likely be Wilder. Then I see him either retiring himself or continuing to fight the Chisora's of the division. Hearne will want to milk the cow as much as he can after these fights.

Also, it'll be nice to see these two fight in the UK for once. They've fought overseas far too many times.

He's just signed a long-term deal with Dazn so he'll probably just fight bums or other fighters on Eddie's roster to please Dazn. The Dazn deal might be one of those things that's holding this fight back because I'm sure they're going to want their piece of the pie but with this being under Bricktop's production it's going to be their way or the highway for most of it and AJ/Hearn will have little say in things.

Still at works, lots of things to iron out, they are domestic rivals including their promotions, Matchroom by Hearn (AJ) and Queensberry Promotions by Frank Warren (Fury).
No doubt, both promotions know there's a lot of money riding on this, and I imagine Hearne is going to be pushing for a 50/50 split rather than taking the smaller purse. I imagine it's going to take...in typical boxing fashion a few months to sort this out, while both fighters are ageing. There will probably be issues with securing a venue, all of the normal excuses you have when it comes to these two fighters.

I also see them selling out, and going to Dubai to host it. They'll want the money, and the UK side of things can't compete with that, which will be a huge shame for British fans wanting to see these two fight in their home turfs.

Hearn and AJ have already agreed to the 60/40 which is already very generous on Fury's part (the deal even included a 50/50 split if a rematch happened so AJ isn't going to get better than that). Fury already has some venues reserved for the fight as well, which one of them was probably just for whatever bum he was going to fight before this happened, and let's be honest he's probably still going to fight some bum in Dec if AJ doesn't sign off on this. If this fight doesn't get made this year it probably never will happen or won't be until 2024 as next year will probably be taken up with Usyk and then likely a rematch later in the year. AJ also looks to be fighting in Dec according to Hearn but that will probably just be someone like Chisora.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 09, 2022, 02:15:46 PM
government told them they can go ahead with weekend football and but the FA have the final word in this and they decided it's better to postpone the whole thing. *sigh* weekend ruined
Yeah, like I understand the gesture, but why would you opt to be miserable, and completely focus on mourning. People usually want to occupy themselves when something like this happens. I'm not meaning to be disrespectful when I say this, but it might be a silver lining for Liverpool having the games cancelled, since we've been awful, and it gives us time to sort things out without the pressure of a game, and our injury list to hopefully shorten.

At least I still have the UFC to look forward too since that's an American organisation. However, I do believe all comedy, and all British sports have been cancelled. So, horse racing, golf, basically everything. So, a lot of people are going to be lost this weekend.

They should have had a minute's silence at the most, no need to pointlessly cancel things. Do they think the British people are going to be beside themselves with grief or something? Most people couldn't care less about the queen or the monarchy. Personally I don't even think we should have a minutes silence for any deaths. Not only is it a completely hollow gesture but who gets to decide who is worthy enough for a minute of silence? They often have them for 'big' football players but I'm sure most others are forgotten. I remember when that Rhys Jones kid got shot and killed in Liverpool years ago and they had a minutes silence or round of applause for him at Everton. Well great, but how many other kids from Liverpool died that week that get nothing? If you're going to have them then have a minutes silence before every game for everybody else who has died that week. The queen isn't more important than anyone else and neither is a former professional football player.

I wonder if the Leeds game on Monday is cancelled too?
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 07, 2022, 05:23:14 PM
Fury was on Talksport this morning and has said he's offered AJ three different dates at three different venues: November 12, or Wembley stadium for November 26 and December 3 in Cardiff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nUu5qgjjQk

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/tyson-fury-names-three-dates-27930154

If you take Fury at his word AJ can't get better than that.

On the surface what is clear is that Fury offered the fight to Joshua on a 60/40 split which is an excellent 40% for Joshua considering he lost back to back fights and his titles along the way and is currently not holding any championship belts. Joshua says he has accepted as long as Fury and his team talk to his team.

Keeping that aside, no contract has been signed yet and until one is I remain dubious it will go ahead. Why would Fury put his belts on the line in return for fighting someone with no belts and thing to lose? Why has Joshua not made an assault on the media shouting off he will claim to beat Fury? Something does not add up.

Because it's the biggest fight to make outside of Usyk, and some even say it's even bigger than that. If Fury thinks he beats AJ easy then it's a no-brainer for him along with one of if not the biggest payday (which Usyk will probably eclipse if it's in Saudi). I don't think it will be an easy fight but Fury will be by far the favourite and 90% of people will expect him to win.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 07, 2022, 12:33:03 PM
Hearn has said he's accepted the offer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaL7pwVjjAA

But he's still rightfully sceptical that this isn't just some mind games or a way to grab more money for a Usyk fight. Looks like Frank Warren has the Millennium stadium reserved already so they could use that but he probably already had that for a Fury to fight some bum and that will likely still happen if the fight falls through. Until the contracts get signed then I wouldn't get too exited because it's going to be a squeeze to get a fight of this magnitude sorted in time. Either way, I'm sure we'll find out soon because even if they don't fight each other they'll be fighting someone else and will have to start promoting those matches.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 07, 2022, 11:52:20 AM
This could be fun fight to watch and I am expecting for Jake Paul to release new provocations towards Dana White and UFC payment system.

He already has: https://www.instagram.com/p/CiLR3y2AaZS/

He's a master at promotion.

Just saw this news. I am so sick and tired of this kid and his brother fighting these old dudes who aren’t even boxers. I mean Anderson Silva is 47 years old. I guess if I could fight someone who played a different sport, is much older and past their prime yet still make millions of dollars I’d do it to. I just want to see these dudes actually fight a legitimate boxer their own age.

Regardless I’ll be tuning in hoping for a Silva KO.

People need to stop watching these fights then they will magically go away as there won't be any money in it.  I watched the first couple I will admit but they were boring at best.  How much money these dudes making off the fight is that public?

You can easily google this info. The fights wouldn't be made if there wasn't money in it and when they do well there's an insane amount to be made.

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/1188184/ksi-jake-paul-clash-pay-per-view-sales-reported-230000-buys-most-recent-event/

Quote
The report says KSI’s fight night did 230,000 buys on DAZN in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and the USA.

This is fewer than Paul’s fights against Ben Askren and his first contest with Tyron Woodley, which did over 500,000 buys each. Although, KSI’s fight night has surpassed Paul’s most recent outing against the former UFC welterweight champion, which did 200,000 buys.

Quote tweeting the article, Paul said: “Bull**** aside, the PPV business ain’t easy.

“Congrats to KSI and his boxing company. Those are great numbers. The day we finally settle this, it will break the internet and do some big PPV numbers on Showtime. "

People like Jake are hoping they can build up to that mega-money fight against someone like McGregor or Mayweather which will come with a life-changing amount. Once Connor is done with the UFC I'm sure he'll start taking these boxing exhibition matches but for now he's stuck with the UFC and daddy Dana isn't going to let him fight a youtuber, especially not one he has beef with.

Well I would prefer a proper boxer and someone of similar age like Tommy Fury but Silva has taken up boxing now and fought twice in 2021 with two wins as well. The age is still an issue though, but I think this is still a risky fight for Jake. If he wins then people will just say the same thing they did about his other fights - too old, washed up, not a proper boxer etc and if he loses, well, then he's lost to an old, washed up, non-boxer. Jake really needs to keep a hold of that unbeaten record as it pushes his stock and hype up with every fight and once it's gone it's gone. If he doesn't fight a 'true' boxer next then he should just go back to YouTube boxing and try fight KSI if KSI has the balls for it.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK on: September 06, 2022, 06:59:52 PM
This fight probably isn't going to happen until mid next year given Usyk has stated he won't fight this year but Fury v AJ is hotting up now. I thought Fury was just doing his usually shit-chatting to try grab headlines but Fury has said he's offered him a 60/40 split to fight him Nov/December this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mWQVajOXMo

If that's to be believed AJ is not going to get a better deal than that. Something tells me that Fury isn't entirely serious about this fight though or there's something he's not telling us. It's rumoured that Fury already has a bum lined up for December but I'm sure he could easily ditch him for AJ but squeezing a fight of this magnitude in before the end of the year seems a stretch. Both Eddie Hearn and Frank warren were on Talk Sport this morning confirming the offer has been made and received but neither talked numbers. Hopefully we'll hear something from Hearn soon but I agree with Hearn at 1:48 here: https://youtu.be/8IksjnZS7QU?t=108

I am watching this news with great annoyance. I don’t know who could come up with the idea of this fight, but in my opinion it’s completely absurd. AJ, with all due respect, is already "wasted material". No one will be interested in this fight because everyone wants to see Usyk-Fury fight. It seems that Fury is afraid of Usyk and will run from him as he ran from Klitschko. What a disgraceful person.

Lol calm down. It's Usyk that has said he can't fight this year and Fury doesn't want to be out of the ring that long. Regardless of AJ having a few losses under him this is still a huge fight and probably the biggest outside of Usyk to be made and it's one British boxing fans have been wanting for years so there's still a huge market for it. I'm just hoping the big boxers like AJ and Fury fight someone soon because you're lucky if you get one fight a year out of them these days when in reality they should be fighting 2 or 3 times. If this fight doesn't happen then both AJ and Fury will probably just end up fighting bums which nobody wants to see.

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/jake-paul-vs-anderson-silva-date-start-time-odds-card-potential-2022-boxing/hwshnvincr9dkf0ul9uy2myq

It's just been confirmed what was already widely known that Jake will be fighting former UFC fighter Anderson Silva. I'm not really sure this is any tougher than Tyron Woodley given Silva's age but it won't be a push over either. Personally I was hoping Jake would get the Tommy Fury fight sorted but I guess we'll have to wait for that now. Hopefully Jake fights a true boxer after this because people won't stop complaining that he's only fighting washed up fighters way past their prime and that isn't going to change with this bout given Silva is pushing 50.

294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 06, 2022, 03:44:53 PM
Chimaev vs Nate fight is going to be like that - Nate will take a beating, but will throw a good clean combination (which wont be enough to win the fight). This will be simular to a fight with Edwards, took beating but everyone remember how he dazed Edwards and basically stole the crowd. Nate will lose, but will show a good fight and will be a “winner”.

Nate Diaz has so many fans that you can hear them cheering for him, But even though he has many fans the level of people believing that Chimaev will win is huge, Stake odds are 1.08 for Chimaev while 9.20 for Diaz, If Nate Diaz wins and if you bet around 0.001 BTC for him you can gain an estimated value of 0.0082 BTC on Stake that will be $161.98 USD but for Chimaev that 0.001 BTC you can only gain an estimated price of 0.00008 BTC converted to USD $1.58 not a profitable gain unless you are a whale and can put a ton of money for Chimaev, for certain Nate Diaz will still be a winner in the eyes of his fans but Khamzat Chimaev will surely come out to this unscathed

It's worth a punt on Diaz as you never know with him but the odds on Skybet are 11/2 which I wouldn't bother with. Both him and Chiamev are machines and don't give up and Diaz is like a Terminator so I think he will keep getting up and walking on into a war even if he's getting battered. I think Chiamav will win, but I could also see this going this distance as well. I would like to see an upset though. Will be interesting if Diaz does win and where that leaves him with the UFC. I'd still like to see the trilogy with McGregor some day. Connor is running out of options without taking on someone who is just going to annihilate him like Chiamev.

I’m already looking forward to the Diaz fight this weekend. It’s going to be his last fight in the UFC and I think after this he moves on to chasing the money fights. I suspect he’ll be Jake Paul’s next opponent as that’s probably his best chance at a nice payday. I don’t see him winning this weekend though. Dana definitely rolled out the killer to put him on the floor for his final fight.

Jake needs to fight a boxer otherwise fans will forever be crying about it, especially as it looks like his next opponent is going to be Anderson Silva. Silva is a worthy opponent but he's getting on a bit now. I'm hoping Jake just gets that Tommy Fury fight sorted which seems his best bet without biting off more than he can chew.

Only 2/7 for me today, it could've been worse but at least those two were all correct scores so i'm only 1pt behind from the top 20.

Also the late goals coming from the Chelsea and Fulham saved my round a bit together with the VAR at the end coming to the rescue.  Grin

Edit : Forgot there's still the Man City game left surely most of us should get points from it.  Smiley

Terrible week for me. I've only got 1.5 points so far and looks like I'll be getting the wooden spoon this week  Roll Eyes. Some shocking decisions in VAR this week. At this point it's doing more harm than good and I'd rather they scrapped it completely.

There is a golden opportunity tomorrow for Arsenal,if they win the game against Manchester United then they will be in a very comfortable position in their fight for the title which would be even more realistic after the win against Manchester United. The fact that the top contenders like Manchester City,Liverpool and Chelsea are leaving points here and there only make things easier for them if they are serious enough to win tomorrow game. These points left here and there can be fatal for the title race,I only hope Arsenal wins tomorrow that would make the Premier League even better than it is.

Hard game to predict. I'm sure most will go for the draw. If it was at the Emirates I might have backed an Arsenal win but I think they both might cancel each other out. Hopefully it's a high scoring game though. I wonder if they'll start Ronnie now the transfer drama is over until at least January, though maybe he'll remain benched if he's been trying to backseat manage?  Cheesy. Kinda silly not to start him now but maybe Hag is trying to show him who's boss. Probably won't be the boss for long though if they don't keep the form up now.

I thought I was doing really badly actually, well okay I am lol but am really surprised to see last season prize winners below me. Has the scene flipped, like Leicester and Liverpool now bottom half of the table?

But don't worry guys, just kidding, I know things will turn around.

Derby I think Everton only won it once in modern times during Liverpool's injury season. This looks like close to another injury season except they have van dijk.

There's just been some really unexpected/unpredictable results. Most of the big teams have had terrible starts, though Liverpool and Man U look to have turned that around now. Ronnie is staying until at least January now so I'm sure they'll start playing him instead of benching him. There's usually always some bad starts with a bit of rust to shake off but none that have been as bad as this in recent memory.

So according to Frank Warren they've given official notice that they intend to fight and won't be vacating the belts so looks like they Usyk fight will happen. My only hope is that Fury doesn't get too greedy and will only fight if he gets the 500 million he's asking for, which is in insane, especially since they've already agreed to a 50/50 split with Usyk which would make it a billion dollar fight, though I'm sure that would be great for marketing. As I said before, I hope Fury asking for 500 million is just his way of starting high with the negotiations and they'll obviously be some haggling, but they'll likely settle on something like 100-250 million. One good thing is things look to be moving fast and they're wanting to get it done before the end of the year which could be a squeeze. If they leave it any longer though that's when the commissions will start trying to give mandatory fights which could throw a spanner in the works so it will be in everyone's interest to get a deal done soon.

I'm surprised most people thought that Wilder is better than Joshua even during their undefeated days. I always see AJ as being more technical and composed than Wilder. During their undefeated days as champions, there were rumors of a unification fight and I saw the odds favored AJ. If AJ is mentally unstable then Wilder is also or maybe even more mentally affected by that embarrassing knockout loss to Fury. Both fighters can get hurt too. Wilder may have the hand speed advantage but AJ has a better defense with his hands always high.

I'd like to see it but I think Wilder wins it fairly easy. He hits too hard. If he can knock down Fury 3-4 times or however many it was I think he can do the same to AJ. AJ probably won't fight Wilder anytime soon and will fight some easier opponents just to try get his mojo back.

Everyone saying that it is not real because the thief sent the coins to stake. Have you lived IRL? Of course he will send it to stake for 3 reasons:

1. He wants to double the money, he is young and he was never able yet to gamble with bankroll.

2. He doesn't know how to use a crypto wallet but he knows he can send away coins to stake. Unfortunately stake is the most fucked up site for first deposits with their aml policy and wager 1x rule (but most users seem they have no ideea about it even if they are hero/legendary (useless) )

3. He believes he can withdraw to cash from stake.

But the story sounds real and can happen in reality, everyday. Whoever says that is sounds fake, should receive a ban. It may be fake, may be not the whole truth, but to sound strange? It is a classic 15-21 yrs old kind of stealing.

and one more thing, it is part of the aml tos of stake to return the coins to the owner, so stop spamming with your opinions instead of replying on facts

And dogs do eat homework. Do you live in the real world? If somebody hacked into his wallet and sent the funds to another Stake account then that might be more believable, but it's pretty obvious this guy just lost the money and now wants it back. His story is ridiculous.

OP, you've got to be an idiot if you think Stake is going to believe this and nobody will here too (other than maybe saxydev). I'd just take this as a valuable lesson to either not gamble anymore or don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose. $450 isn't much as you said so use this as a wake up call before you lose more.

Take The Night 2022 film: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10680838/

Quote
A fake kidnapping goes wrong in this trailer for Take The Night, an upcoming crime thriller movie starring Seth McTigue, Roy Huang, Brennan Keel Cook, Sam Li, Shomari Love, Antonio Aaron, and Grace Serrano.

Haven't watched the actual film yet but just watched the trailer and bitcoin is mentioned/shown at 1:04: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O7jMmMwe9c

The plot seems to heavily involve bitcoin - or at least crypto - according to this review (though watch out for spoilers):

What is the future of AJ ? Would be funny if promotors organize a third fight, like Fury vs Wilder Cheesy If AJ was so much pissed due to a loss, I cant imagine what he would do if he looses for the third time. But jokes aside, what AJ is going to do now? If I am not wrong, then he has no belts right now. Should he retire? If he got 65 millions for that fight, that could be more than enough not to work till death.

He has lots of options. Trilogy with Andy Ruiz might be his best bet, but there's still people like Wilder who would be a huge fight for him, but I don't think he beats Deontay so he's probably best ducking that one until he either has to or gets a couple more wins under him. Maybe even a trilogy with Uysk again down the line, especially if Usyk fights and loses the belts to Fury. The Fury fight would always be on the cards as well but can't see that happening without any belts until maybe the end of both their careers, though if AJ gets a couple of wins under his belt he could end up becoming the mandatory at some point. He's just signed a huge deal with Dazn so they're going to want to start seeing some fights from him. Maybe Eddie will just use some of his other Matchroom Heavyweights to make easy fights, but personally I think the Ruiz third would be a good one for him next.
