282  Other / Meta / Does one trust list negation not cancel one trust list addition? on: December 04, 2015, 09:47:37 PM
BayAreaCoins has a total depth 2 DefaultTrust score of (0).

He is trusted by SaltySpitoon (depth 1), but negated by dooglus (depth 1).

This isn't commenting on anything about BAC & dooglus being pissed at each other, and I'd ask you don't comment on that here. I'm more curious on if this is actually intended. Do you need 2 negations on depth 1 to cancel out being trusted by a single depth 1 user?

The Kialara arrived!

Not a bad box.

Moment of truth...

Amazing. Sorry, the Kialara is tilted (and seems like it doesn't fit - it does!) as I'm holding the box at a tilt in this photo.

The back:

Amazing coin. Thanks, LuckyBit. Smiley

Sorry if you don't like the photos by the way, they were quick iPhone 4 photos and I haven't cleaned any smudges or dirt off the coin. Wink
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new 🌟🌟MoneyPot🌟🌟 staff on: December 03, 2015, 07:31:18 PM
This means I will be hosting the Money Pot code/server.

Seriously?

Like, I'm not taking shots at you yourself here. But it doesn't matter who the person hosting the code/server would be here, whether you, Stunna, theymos, or whoever - I really think that's a stupid thing to do. You buy MoneyPot and the first thing you do is hand off the responsibilities and everything to do with the security to an app?
285  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new MoneyPot staff on: December 03, 2015, 07:00:57 PM
"Ah, this seems good! Looks like they know what they're doing for sure!"

We are pleased to announce a partnership with Bet King (formerly known as PocketRocketsCasino). As part of our agreement, Bet King will become an app on MoneyPot. Players and casinos alike will benefit from large maximum bet sizes! In addition, Bet King will handle the security side of our operations: you can rest easy, knowing your funds are being looked over by one of the oldest and largest operations in the industry.

"Oh."

First...what? You're giving away the security side of your operations to an app?

Before I get it when Dean sees this, please don't give me the "over-reaction, he's saying we're the shittiest-site-in-Bitcoin" job, like you've done before. No, you're pretty decent (you have fucked up before, but that's more minor now). But that's not really my point, though.

You've got a bit of a conflict of interest here and it seems like you're just tilting away your security to another firm because they entered a business partnership with you, as if you're the government giving contracts to the lowest bidder. Why the hell are you giving away your security?

Do it yourself. If you can't secure your own new service, why are you buying it!?
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💩 ShitDice - The WORST Bitcoin dicing site around. 💩 on: November 29, 2015, 09:11:31 PM
Thanks to Coinichiwa in their support of ShitDice. They have decided to auto-correct all referral links to a link to our website in order to support us. We salute you, our fellow dank Bitcoin memers.
287  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] ~0.6 BTC [W] PP at Bitstamp rate on: November 29, 2015, 06:49:44 PM
If you aren't trusted, don't bother. I only trade with very trusted users and rarely go first. Please don't waste my time, it just isn't going to work very well.

Thank you, I do see your point, will forward your concern to the owner, thank you Smiley

Please refer to the post I made as well:

As the head of fastdice.com, I would like to confirm that this is a authorised launch or fastdice.com Signature Campaign. As I am still working on getting my BCT cred up and cant post viewable pics yet, I cannot post the intro threads yet.

I look forward to working with winning team members soon...

FYI, we just went live,
Betting site at https://fastdice.com        (Real BTC to win or loose)
Demo site at https://demo.fastdice.com (Limited time and free play)

Please consider escrowing the funds at least partially. It isn't good enough to just say that because people will be paid directly into their accounts there's no need for an escrow (??). I offer my services as a partial escrow if you want them but there are plenty of extremely trusted escrows on the forum.
289  Other / Meta / Re: Things which suck in bitcointalk.org on: November 29, 2015, 03:05:53 PM
People giving negative trust to people who they haven't done any trades with (see my profile for ref). Trust abuse as well

Wow, looks like the level for people whining about "trust abuse" (which is actually completely how the trust system is intended to be used) isn't even at getting a negative rep from DefaultTrust now, but getting a single negative untrusted rep.

People are completely in their rights to leave whatever trust they like. Whether they'll be on DefaultTrust or not is another story.
I'm not whining, that's the thing. But a degenerate gambler left me neg trust for something retarded. He was talking shit and trolling me. When I hit back, he gave me neg trust, lol.

I expected a similar comment to yours.

You left a response, he expressed his opinion, you expressed yours, really that should be it as neither of you are on DefaultTrust. Both of you did what is perfectly allowed so while you may be a tiny bit salty that should be just about it.

Oh clam up man, don't be a wanna-be. The discussion is perfectly fine and hilariousandco a) isn't even derailing the thread and b) knows what he's doing.

About the whois info, since the guy is using whoisguard and the information doesn't have to be real, it is not entirely reliable. Instead we need to contact the hosting and domain registrar that he used and ask them if they will give up information to help us find the guy.

I think the small possibility that hosting and domain registar you will give an information about owner of this domain.
certainly it would be good to save somewhere whois info, I noticed a couple scamers always use the same method of operation

They should give the information if a scammer/fraudster was using their services, they'd have to via a subpoena anyway.

293  Other / Meta / Re: The most common questions regarding Bitcointalk - An FAQ on: November 29, 2015, 12:21:44 PM
Great FAQ. I've got a question:

Are Signature Campaigns generally looked down on? If they are, which are the most despised? Why are they despised? Are there any that are respected, due to their toughness to get into?
Well IMO yobit and secondstrade are the ones generally looked down upon, then comes bitmixer. The respected ones are any campaign Carra23 runs, which currently he doesn't seem to run, that person is one strict manager.

That seems like a pretty fair analysis, and I'd generally agree with you there. But still, I'm not going to add the question to the OP as I don't think it belongs in a thread such as this which isn't supposed to poke against specific companies or services.
294  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: November 29, 2015, 12:04:47 PM
I wrote an automute script for reflinks/scams/malware that always reads the last line of my chatlog, informs the user about chatrules and mutes the user

This was your first and only mistake. Don't write auto-mute scripts. You open yourself up to a lot of issues especially with side cases, as well as false detections. If the chat really isn't moderated well enough to catch these (which I sincerely doubt as the staff team seems to have grown significantly since I left), then tell Stunna & MICRO and more mods will be brought on.

I don't really want to give an answer to this as it would be very easy to create bias in this question. It's a bit of a leading question, too, and I don't want to show preference to any one signature campaign in a thread designed to be a general FAQ.
296  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the activity required for Legendary random? on: November 29, 2015, 11:08:54 AM
For all intents and purposes, the Legendary rank is just a bit of a joke. If you just want it because you think you'll get more in campaigns, I don't think you're here for the right reasons.

If you're that valuable, anyway, you can just negotiate a price. Wink

Are you taking a fee on every deposit or something? Depositing 1 BTC gives you 0.998 BTC in your balance. Annoying for your friends of oshi! promotion-thing too as well.

I'm sure they all think man-made satellites and the ISS are fake too, don't worry. The level of conspiracy theories in this thread is absolutely insane.
