281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another wall street idiot, this time, Jordan Belfort calls bitcoin a fraud. on: September 28, 2017, 10:15:11 AM
this is just another idiot trying to make his voice heard. although this time he is too late for spreading FUD to be able to take any kind of benefit from doing so.
this part of the quote is the best in my opinion:
“the biggest problem I see from Bitcoin, and why I would never buy it, is because they can easily steal it from you through hacking. I know people who lost all their money like that.”

somebody needs to remind him of all the credit card frauds and all the other hacks tha happen every day in all the different monetary systems and then compare it with the hacks tha happen to someone who owns a proper cold storage!

the thing is, you can never prevent someone from hacking your credit card but you can easily prevent them from hacking your cold storage!
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another hard fork coming in October. New Bitcoin name is "Bitcoin Gold" on: September 28, 2017, 10:02:06 AM
this is more like "free money" coming in October rather than anything else. i don't know why they are calling it a hard fork though, probably a mistake on the news site's article part.
this is good though because it will give another boost to bitcoin holder's pockets and also it will open up an option for all the GPU miners who no longer will be able to mine ETH since it dies by the end of this year when it forks.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is basically a stock that allows you to purchase things on: September 28, 2017, 06:28:41 AM
reverse everthing that you just said and i agree with it.

bitcoin is a currency which you can use for payment but also it can be used as an "investment" because its price is rising.

what you are missing is that that is the feature of anything else that rises. for example if you live in a country that is losing its local currency value the price of USD for example will be rising.

now imagine you buy USD with your local currency and 1 USD = 10 LC (local currency). then in a month it becomes 1 USD = 100 LC.
does this mean USD is a stock?

I would have accepted you, but you are a hero member and we are full on heros. Would you be interested in accepting senior payments? I'll move you up to hero whenever a hero member leaves or gets kicked.

ok. thanks that is fine by me.

288  Economy / Speculation / Welcome back $4xxx bitcoin! on: September 18, 2017, 01:13:01 PM
after the weak hands were flushed out for yet another time and whales took their coins out of their hands it is time for the FUD to go away and as we see it has. and with it the price recovered and we are heading back to normal prices after the correction.

i also want to congradulate those who bought the dip they are now enjoying nearly $1100 profit for every coin they bought.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash, Monero, Zcash Which Coins More Secure? on: September 17, 2017, 08:52:01 AM
what you didn't mention was secure for what?

different purposes may differ greatly.
for example for just storing them in a safe wallet, a safe key,... they are all safe. there has been no bugs in the code or the way the keys work or anything like that.

safe for storage of value is not so good for all of them. since they swing a lot.

but i guess your goal is the anonymity. which has nothing to do with being "secure". and it depends on what you are doing with them. if it is doing something illegal and wanting to stay anonymous then the coin alone can not save you no matter what. and if it is not illegal then Monero is the best one.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still recovers after China & JP Morgan CEO on: September 17, 2017, 08:16:38 AM
these things are so small to be able to sway bitcoin out of its route to the moon and eventual mass adoption of it. and bitcoin has many enemies. even from within.
many banksters who don't want bitcoin to succeed. many fiat lovers who enjoy the dumps because they short bitcoin stupidly. and lots more.

good news is that they only delay the inevitable. the price will rise in long term and bitcoin will continue to grow and become stronger. you can see even the FUD drops this big are not half as big as old days where a 50% drop in 1 day because of FUD was easy.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New and good 1 Sat POS Coins with good teams on: September 17, 2017, 07:34:37 AM
I'm looking for the next RAIN coin, something worth buying a lot of.  If you go to Novaexchange or Yobit you see a lot of 1 Sat coins but its hard to know which ones are new with good sincere teams.    Linda was an example that they're still popping up.

1 satoshi coins specially on Yobit are very misleading because you look at it and think to yourself that there is only one way to go and that is up but you will be mistaken because
- there are nobody to buy that kind of crap and there is a huge wall of 100BTC usually to even go past 1 satoshi and last buy was days ago in the size of a couple of satoshis and no more.
- also because these coins are usually worth less than 1 satoshi like worth at 0.01 satoshi because they are being traded elsewhere with Doge for example. you can buy 10000 of them with only 1 Doge! and in 1 week you can buy 20000 with only 1 Doge.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are a joke, only bitcoin matters! on: September 17, 2017, 07:19:31 AM
it is not 100% true but you are not all wrong either.

altcoins are mostly moving down with bitcoin and when bitcoin rises they also get dumped too. because mostly people are interested in bitcoin alone. they want profit on bitcoin and when the bitcoin market becomes exciting they all switch over to that market and leave altcoins in the dust.

but there are still some rare altcoins with some good features. although many of them don't become famous and most altcoins are shit anyways. and as for profit all of them are good investments as long as you invest in them at a good time.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or XRP, why its not moving? on: September 17, 2017, 07:11:40 AM
it is the most centralized altcoin of all time and it is moving but it is moving down because people are mostly dumping it and whales are slowly exiting with their profits.

if you want to invest you should always invest when the rise is coming not after it is all done and over. there are a lot of other coins out there. don't ever limit yourself to one just because it is up in some list.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How trustworthy are ico rating sites? on: September 16, 2017, 11:37:47 AM
nobody creates a website for no reason and "just to help" others. they have some motivation that they have created that website.
it can simply be to get some traffic and earn money through the advertisement (which is mostly the case in crypto related websites) and in that case they don't usually care about the content and they post anything just to get that traffic. see the news sites and their click-baits for examples.

or it can be because they want to have the power to even hype something they have invested in. and in that case they may falsely praise and advertise something more than others just because they have an investment in it.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guess What? JPMorgan on: September 16, 2017, 07:18:57 AM
Ha! Unbelievable. Talk about fraud...

haha, what else should have we be expecting from a bankster who is looking for earning more fiat from the gullible people!
and they did it successfully thanks to the bitcoin weak hands who did a lot of panic selling down their bankster's pocket. now they are a big whale among us.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptos do you hold when the market is going down, and which you dump? on: September 16, 2017, 06:45:24 AM
i dump ALL my altcoins because they are ALL hopeless to keep their prices up in any case. and i move it all back to bitcoin and hold that.

in case bitcoin was falling i make sure that i am early not too late to the dip. then if i was still early i sell some bitcoin to have money ready to buy more coins with profit out of the hands of newbies.

and after the dip ended i come back to find which altcion is getting pumped to buy that and enjoy more profits on my bitcoin which is now also rising again.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash overcome the original Bitcoin? on: September 16, 2017, 06:28:38 AM
Considering that BCH is just a fork from the original Bitcoin blockchain, it may never replace it, the same way ETC never replaced the original Ethereum.
if you do believe that then why did you even start this topic!

also ETC is the original chain and ETH is the fork, LOL
and the main difference is that nobody wanted either of them. the community was already split because so many lost money because of the ETH bug and so many others didn't or even if they did they believe that a "roll back" which was the only reason for the fork is a terrible idea.

Quote
Therefore, I believe that in the future both of these cryptocurrencies will co-exist (Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash) providing people with options whenever they want to quickly send a transaction or just secure their investments for the long term. Whenever it is Gold (BTC) or Cash (BCH), there will always be a choice for anyone to transact in this rapidly evolving technology. Just my thoughts Grin
bitcoin cash transaction speed is the same as bitcoin! you forgot that it is the fork of bitcoin with nothing different regarding "transaction speed" which is block time. and if BCH is also spammed it will become the same slow one during the spams.

and i agree, it will exist the same way Pandacoin, Rabitcoin, Dogecoin, HTML5, GAYcoin,... are still existing alongside bitcoin.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wow everything is down today!! on: September 16, 2017, 06:16:24 AM
a few coins wont be directly related to bitcoins price like that - especially ETH!

when bitcoin went down about 8-9% ethereum dropped about 18% and you think it can be unrelated to bitcoin price?  how can it even be possible when it is getting dumped this hard. and the recover is not even as big. it has only recovered less than 10% so far out of a huge drop that it had.

no, i say coins that are pump and dumps will remain that without any change in their lifetime and will get dumped over time more.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do so many people wait for "bitcoin to crash" to buy some, and miss out on: September 16, 2017, 06:07:57 AM
reading these couple of lines in OP seems like reading my lifetime experience specially on this forum with all its newbie member topics. each time the price rises they call it "too expensive" and the worst thing is that they call a bottom and say with absolute certainty that they will buy at that price. and what do you know, that price actually happens but they won't buy because now they are reading the FUD and thing a lower price is also possible.
long story short price recovers back up and they are still waiting the long wait because now they have missed their target and are depressed!

i always warn people to make sure to "buy the dip" but so little ever listen.
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin below $3000: "Good buy" or "Goodbye"? on: September 15, 2017, 01:17:22 PM
LOL, even if price went below a lower price, it wouldn't have been "goodbye"! it would have been a greated opportunity to buy bitcion at an even bigger discount!

and so far it seems like swings are mad, the below $3000 was like a rocket fuel that pushed price up to $3500 all of a sudden Cheesy
