281  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 03, 2017, 03:21:19 AM
I think there are different kinds of smarts, and ultimately it comes down to your goals. Someone who is a mathematical genius may not be 'smart' with their money, and could end up broke.

I think so to, because there are some people who are 'smart' in class, have high grades and are in the honors but when it comes to practical application to life and strategies, they suck at it. I somewhat admire those who are 'street smart' because they are very efficient, and I think its important for you to be like that for you to survive in this world and with this kind of society.

I agree with OP because being simply smart is not enough and it won't get you to places. It would serve as a key, but like OP said there need's to be a balance. Having a college degree and latin honors is just a foot on the door, but it is up to you as a person as to where you'll get to in life.

The "smart" that would be needed here is observation and strategize base on that observation. Because really the trade in here is booming but that would depend on how much you could accumulate more than other users. Some may be contented with small amounts but are not really losing bigmoney. Some would go for big trades and eventually win in the process or loss even greater.
282  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 03, 2017, 03:05:54 AM
Technically yes, but just look at the price of Ethereum. People are just absolutely stupid when it comes to investing and they think if the price goes up that means it's good tech. Bitcoins have great tech behind them and are a great investment, but most people that invest in them are just doing it based on speculation and they think it seems cool. They don't really have a clue what it is. It's sad but that's where we are at this point.

Agreed but probably educated in the means of knowing stockchanges and terms in investing. Any people could really be into bitcoin at there own risk. Meaning wether you are educated or not, you are liable for your loss or profits. Because even educated people can make mistakes min investing. Meanwhile people who knew the risk and knew what it takes to invest in either short or long term tend to more profitable than just educated.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: September 01, 2017, 05:37:07 PM
Now that the Kyrie drama is over, what's up with the Carmelo trade? Still no updates eh?
Yeah I think it will just be like d wade where it is full of fans missing him when there's a chance that he would play in the Knicks stadium but with a different jersey. Because Knicks already have a pdomising future so i guess the absence of melo would just make room for new unlikely heroes for that franchise. I don't think melon trade would be that blockbuster because they would see him as an aging star and not a one man team type.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 7000 HOT SEPTEMBER on: September 01, 2017, 04:46:03 PM
Hey mr. forcaster, I have BTC0.2 BTC now, what can you suggest. Buy an altcoin or stay it as BTC? Will the Altcoin dump while Bitcoin is travelling towards 5K, 6k to 8k?

My Best Forecast At the moment !

Target 6800-8400 per 1 btc

Current price 4844

Stop
Shor term at 4723

Which gives us enormous profit factor of 23

HOT SEPTEMBER
keep or holding bitcoin at the moment will be the best option for anyone who wants to get a good price in future. I am not sure about any of the altcoin whether it has such a potential to give anyone a profit like bitcoin is giving or is supposed to give to it's users.
I can't say anything about the bitcoin price in September but I know that in the next three months bitcoin is going to boom. The bitcoin holders will definitely enjoy the crunch of it.

The price maybe high today but i think next week will be more higher. I have held my btc when the price was still at 4200 and in just one week in came to 4800. Im really in hype right now because its a fast price increase. I've collected my money last week in the thought of it will be just stagnant but i guess I wouldd regret that decision today.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scammed in a bounty campaign on: September 01, 2017, 10:23:49 AM
Hi! I just want to ask if anyone here been scammed in bounty campaigns? Some who joined the bounty campaign, did abide with the rules and did all the necessary tasks to do to qualify then at the end no payment recieved in their wallet? If so what did you do and if in case it happens what should be done?
If you obey all its rules, just ask its bounty manager, ask for what you should be paid. If they reject, you can do nothing, they make the manage the rules.

Well we got cops here now to clarify it a bounty is real or not. Its not the earlier where managers can easily make scam contracts. But offcourse its not always that a project is a scam. But also users have to be smart on where they are joining ang not because they are offering good tokens and you are eager for some earnings then you can join instantly.
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: September 01, 2017, 10:14:30 AM
I never though the price would came for this far!! It's a great comebacl for me and I think I will enjoy more staying and grabbing some bitcoins today  Grin and looks like the price will continue to go up.

Good decision mate. Cause even it goes this peak, it will still grow. So better buy today than just waiting for it to go down. Ever since i started btc at 500$ price, its still great to see how the price always going up. Last week it was 4.2k$ then now it increase to 500$. Its like working in a stable job but you are getting paid everytime it grows rather than per month.
287  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: September 01, 2017, 09:40:28 AM
I think you are right, currently the bitcoin circulation in Asia is experiencing a significant increase phase maybe this is because the bitcoin price is now so high that it is able to attract everyone to engage in bitcoin, even in some countries like vietnam india Philippines and some others in asia has successfully declared the legality of bitcoin, this proves not all countries in asia are illegal about bitcoin.

Well i dont think it is illegalized but it is not regulated. Meaning they dont acknowledge btc as means of payment but it could be earn but in an underground sense. Some asian countries even made btc as an economic oppurtunity to at least earn money for there country. Some times its ilegal i think because it cannot be contained by the government or monitored. But i would see that some countries will also adapt btc because it could really help them especially in monetary matters.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative for Bounty Payments on: September 01, 2017, 09:26:30 AM
Apologies in advance if this is not the right place to post this

Would it be a consideration for the Bounty campaign managers to
make payments and rewards in Litecoin as well as Bitcoin.

and would people in general be open to this idea?

I have seen signature campaigns offering ETH and other tokens
as rewards but outside ETH/token rewards I would possibly like to
see Litecoin as an alternative

Well because eth has its own blockchain they can freely make transactions in payment. Im not realy updated on ltc, but if ltc has its own blockchain then we can use ltc also a means of paying people if there are any platform made in the name of ltc. From what i know btc and eth has there own blockchain so they are paid in those currencies. Some also give tokens as a reward so i guess that could be better although it is really a long term profit.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will the price of Bitcoin reach at the end of this year? on: September 01, 2017, 09:12:35 AM
The price of Bitcoin will reach $5k soon. Where do you think the price of bitcoin will reach at the end of December?

We think the same. Bitcoin will hit the $5000 per coin milestone by the end of 2017, if it continues to grow at this rate. Lets keep our hopes and profits high. Hold on to dear bitcoins. lols

Its just even september and a lot could happen in just one month, let alone 4 months. So i guess there will be another hardfork or even the price will go 6k. Many milestones were already made this year. Recognition and hardfork and even famous personality trying to invest and even promote btc. TI7 had a banner that says buy btc. So at the end of 2017, local news now would feature what btc could do for you.
290  Economy / Marketplace / Re: to get the bitcoin should issue a capital? on: September 01, 2017, 08:28:34 AM

I was a little bit of trouble getting my bitcoin, karna is still new, please help master Smiley
No. You don't any capital to start a bitcoin. All you need in bitcoin is your time and effort and also your knowledge about btc.
You are right. Capital has nothing to do in buying or selling of your Bitcoins. It is you, the owner of Bitcoin who needs to decide what to do. Moreover, as we know that Bitcoin is decentralized, so no one is controlling it directly. You can invest and purchase Bitcoin at your own.

Well i think he meant that buying btc or can he have btc without spending money?. But for me you really need at least a capital for the investment. Because how can you acquire btc if you have no money? Well there are this services and campaigns but i dont think those could be really enough as capitals. Sometimes you should have to make sacrifices because a lot of people are already successful thanks to smart investing.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the idea behind Bitcoin already raped and abused? on: September 01, 2017, 08:08:23 AM
What you guys think about it?

Is it obvious?

Or is is everything OK and things going as planed? :-)

There are many discussions about Bitcoin and Alt coins per example. Some telling "all" Alt coins are scam, some are still reserved with their opinion others see big opportunities...

We are planing to run a ico for our 2 projects https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2129844.msg21279456#msg21279456 , 1 of them is requiring an alt coin..... and sometimes it feels like walking on a very thin line...

Don't know what you mean by the idea of bitcoin being raped and abused, do you mean the idea of decentralisation, or do you mean the idea of cryptocurrencies?

A lot of scam icos are being made, just look at the scam accusations page of the forum. If you have a good project and transparency, it will be obvious that you aren't trying to scam anyone.

Well those are just some common comments by people who were scammed by these altcoins. I for one had some success with these altcoins when they release token and i gather some of them. When there coin was already in the market i had .07 converted to btc. If you are planning to do some ICO, just be sure you are really planning on ins future. Because even if you had a good start but you can realize you would manipulate the bought tokens, there are chances of being a scam. There are mature people in this community that would really help in ICO but there can also be Cops observing you.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: If You Hate Poverty, You Should Love Capitalism on: September 01, 2017, 07:15:28 AM
Capitalism has its own advantage and disadvantage of course, for me poverty really destroy a human nature when it comes to one's environment and any different kind of living and the way people in poverty look the world in their life.

But people in poverty must tend to realize that they must do something to get out there and not blaming who is in control with the system. The only thing we can do to the less fortunate people is to help them to realize this and not to spoon feed them.

For me capitalism  especially if that private entity is really the one funding everything for the economy of a country. From what i see, if a government funds a road, the budget becomes lesser the more people there are in that project. Example, government gave funds to a mayor for a road at 20 million. He told the engineer the allocated budget is 18 million, then the engineer only used 15 million during the span of that project. Now i know there are still a lot of people in a project but its just my example.. Where as a private entity can come from just one budget there fore he can pay everyone at there own expense without any budget being corrupted. I think some people should really realize how capitalism actually helps economically.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fee can be resolved? on: September 01, 2017, 06:51:10 AM
I was wondering at the very high of the transaction fee. Does it increase with bitcoins? Or will it be resolved and return to previous transaction fees?

After seeing your thread I am curious as well on how they can do it, Segwit is in control of the situations they surely doing something to work it out let's just hope it is a good choice because I think there are surely some that are against on this smaller transaction fees and let's understand them because they surely put their efforts and time in bring up the value of bitcoin and we can not push the majority of people that are complaining about the high fees.

I think that transaction fee is just the stagnant price of it. Because btc has a growing price. That fee could would be seen as a low value until the price goes up. There might be even a chance that that fee would increase as the price increases. So for me, if you want a faster transaction, better pay the minimum fee which is i think.001. Any value lower than that could be of less priority.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: From Gold & Stocks to Bitcoin: An Exodus? on: August 31, 2017, 07:27:39 AM
I think very soon we would have solution to inflation and major financial issues the whole world has been going through since the inception of humanity has been. From batter trade to fiat money we are having now few people have been the one incharge of financial  in the whole world. Bitcoin will serve as a solution to this elites control on our financial system to a freedom for every one to benefit from this great technology.

Well i would agree that btc could solve some problems regarding wealth of the elite. Money could be obtained by any society in any class. But i dont think it could solve financial issues around the world. The world is still in debt to 1 or 2 families and i doubt they did not even notice the growing economy of btc. Chances are that in time, they would become a highlight on how they are investing in btc.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: August 31, 2017, 07:09:18 AM
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor

I don`t understand 5."leave your money in the electornic money floor."What is the meaning of this?
Lucky for me ,i didn`t made any of these mistakes when i was a newbie.
By the way,i don`t think that 4."Buy and sell based on feelings" is always a mistake.Sometimes the right
decisions are made based on feelings. My decision to join to bitcoin community and get some bitcoins was based on feelings, not research. Grin

Well for me i was not really a fulltime bitcoin user. I was a teacher and its just now that i am into it fully. I have read many reflections and watch videos about bitcoin on my free time. I may not been exposed to it fully but i've learned the basics on youtube. I used to trade vegetebles when i was younger so i really had the grasp of trading with just few trade that i done in exchange sites.
296  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: August 31, 2017, 06:15:54 AM
Well i think because there are no employees or other terms related to it. Income also would mean it comes from the government and you have certain id to track your employment. Plus there are taxes on those. Our bank stated that they support btc as a means of transaction but i not as payment so i guess those are different. I tried stating btc as my source of income but the embassy did not accept so i have to show them my wallet and many sites to open just to give them some clarifications.
297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: August 31, 2017, 05:34:47 AM
its because crowded transaction and some people spamming with low fees, lets say if your wallet make regular fees on 60 sat/b because that was regular transaction fee on that day, and then a lot people use it too. Better stay on medium fees like 150+ sat/b. If you want get confirm faster, you can use priority fees depend on https://bitcoinfees.21.co

yupzz ,, that's right .. because now transactions are piling up on the network, chances are there are unnatural transactions / spammers in it. To avoid slow transactions, big fees can be an option or choose transactions under 5k pending.

Well for me i think the transaction in blockchains is better than paypal. Even though it is fast. I have always come to notion to accept delays in btc depending on how much is the fee. And i too would agree that small payments are the reason why btc transaction takes so long during this time. Earlier this year, transacstion charge small fees and  it has the same speed today. I think the members should just accept it rather than whinning about the changes in btc.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 30, 2017, 04:40:23 AM
Can't wait for the start of the next season. This should be another exciting one as more players are showcasing their talents for different teams. I would love to see Kristaps Porzingis takeover the New York Knicks and unleash the full potential and hopefully become an All-Star. The West is still pretty predictable with the Warriors looking stronger than ever, while the East could be anybody's ballgame, given how the Bucks, the Wizards, and of course the Celtics have gained confidence in the last playoffs, but the Cavs could prove to still be the best in the East after all that's been said and done.

I've been excited to see the start of this season to see on how everyone is doing with their practice, adjustments with the new rosters and teammates. I'll keeping an eye all the time with Bucks, I just want to see this NBA league not to be dominated by the same team each season, give some doors to the new outstanding teams but they need to work harder.

Bucks is a young team and will be ready soon. A little bit more experience for the stars of this team and they will be ready to dominate Eastern conference. I am also looking forward for this team to be the next champion, if it gets managed right.

I think the sixers are also a young team. There rooster has only 2 veterans and of them is jj redick. But they have 3 number 1picks in the last 4 years so i guess they can have a good rebuilding team this year. I just hope they would not disappoint fans because there rooster are have at least 1 year experience. Emdid Saric Simmons and FUltz are there main contender maybe so i hope they can still do better this season.
299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin so the main choice on: August 30, 2017, 04:21:14 AM
The peoples who left their jobs and focus closer to bitcoin, they must have thought carefully for the decision. Bitcoin is very promising, and it has proved very beneficial/profitable for peoples who are close to bitcoin. With its increasing value over time, as well as excellence and the more ways to earning bitcoin, of course it will affect many peoples to focus more on bitcoin.

I would not really drop my job because you dont always do btc everyhour everyday. But i guess it is really better than actual jobs. Maybe a job that you manage you own business is good and btc is where you are getting your own funds. Because if you want to be richer you should think of other income aside from btc and technically btc is not even an income job. It is just investing over time. So for me having 2 source of income if actually a smart move.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: August 30, 2017, 03:37:33 AM
I have already mentioned it before that cryptocurrency can indeed be used for wrongdoing...
Now another situation arises...
Using BTC as a form to ransom someone whom you loved.
Of course i would give anything just to have my loved ones back...
.
But i would also try to dig into it...
How could someone know that i have such a huge amount of bitcoin hidden in my wallet...
Of course if i've given someone such information then it would only be to my close realatives and loved ones.
Then if such situation occurs then it can be safe to say that someone whom i valued that i even share my bitcoin amount, is doing this to me...
An inside job it is....
How sad life could be if even your loved ones can betray you simply because of bitcoin....
But that's the reality which is not far from happening....
Cheesy

Yap Because i always see to it that i have enough security for btc. This is why even if i have many btc, i try not to divulge it anyone even family as possible. Because there is a tendency that even your family will brag about how much you earn to kins or even some of there friends. And now adays money is not that easily earned especially in the low class society. You could be a walking bank account if they knew how rich you are.
