... third parties can pick up the slack on wallets and such (with some funding provided by the core team)...
So the core team has enough coin to throw at outsiders? Where did they get these coins? Instamine? Our own damn pockets, like the rest of the close to 200 BTC we've spent on the coin out of pocket (after donations) so far. A lot of that at higher USD/BTC prices too. Wrong thread though. Unless attack-the-attacker is your actual intent. I have no intention of attacking the attacker. Your motives are perfectly clear. You see a competitor gaining traction at the expense of your year of toil, sweat, frustration, successes, 200 BTC, and all that comes with it. You feel that you have no choice but to try and stop the momentum. You scream the same screech on every page of this thread. The DRK/DASH thread. If this is not your reason for being here, please enlighten us as to your real motives.

After all, when you have no good response to criticism, ATTACK THE ATTACKER.
So what you're saying is "If its not the INSTAMINE I'll troll something else." unfucking believable.

From the Wikipedia page: ...Linux (Listeni/ˈlɪnəks/ LIN-uks[4][5] or, less frequently used, /ˈlaɪnəks/ LYN-uks)[5][6] is a Unix-like and mostly POSIX-compliant[7] computer operating system assembled under the model of free and open-source software development and distribution. The defining component of Linux is the Linux kernel,[8] an operating system kernel first released on 5 October 1991 by Linus Torvalds.[9][10]. On October 12 1991, Linus Torvalds granted exclusive use of Linux to a small group of cryptocurrency[11] developers and their friends to instamine an unnamed payment platform later to be known as DASH[12]. This agreement prohibits anybody not in this small group from using Linux for any purpose whatsoever... Seems legit. If you are reading this on the internet, it's got to be true.

oaxaca's brilliant plan: History Section ------------------------------------------------ 1 - Russia supplies Europe with gas to prevent it from freezing (captive market) 2 - Gutter (aka Qatar) has the 3rd largest supply of LNG (liquified natural gas) in the world behind Russia and Iran. 3 - Gutter buys a shitload of US debt 4 - Gutter can't move the gas to Europe because there is no pipeline, only ships which are more expensive 5 - USA, Saudi Arabia, and Gutter would like to build a pipeline through Syria that will connect with Europe 6 - In order to topple Syria, Russia (which backs Syria) must be weakened 7 - The US takes out the elected government in the Ukraine by Coup De Etat, replacing it with more "westerners" to fuck with Russia 8 - Saudi Arabia crashes the price of oil to fuck with Russia
Future Events Section ------------------------------------------------ 1 - The US, Saudi, Guttarian plan will fail as Russia will not collapse 2 - The US Petrodollar will no longer be the reserve currency of the world 3 - DarkCoin will become the new reserve currency of the world
simple.

ATTN: Stonehedge
I shouldn't pour salt on your wound, but here goes. I placed a 2 DRK bet on Celtic to win the Scottish Premiership this season. I used your address as the payout. This accomplishes a couple of things. 1 - It tests the "timelock" feature of (currently) DRK as the funds won't be available until April 22. 2 - It puts 2.12 (currently) DRK in your wallet. 3 - It is a placeholder for anyone wishing to join in, the address is below. 4 - It makes a good question for a poll: ON April 22, will the price of DASH be: A - Below $3 USD, B - Between $3 USD and $5 USD C - Between $5 USD and $99 USD D - $100 USD

maybe some merchants can pay more for more MN confirmations if they want (sorry don't know how it's setup/incetivised right now I will go do some reading...)
EDIT: my point was i think non-POW payment from consumers to merchants needs to be 100% bullet proof at any scale for this to work as a global mass-market currency, i am getting that the tech already does that so that's great, i will read up more
Pitch to Merchants: "If a customer pays you with DASH / InstantX, you will get a confirmation within seconds. You can't turn around and spend it for a few minutes, but it's locked in. Fees are basically nothing" How's that?

My comments can now be considered "working from within" to counter the relentless spinning and cheerleading.
I for one don't care if you are "working from within" or not. I don't care if you are DASH core dev or the head of the NSA or a dev for a different altcoin. The basic rules are the same. Follow the code: Acceptable posts: Asking questions to add to your knowledge of DASH or other relevant topics, Announcing a relevant fact that the community should be made aware of, Uncovering a bug or problem with the code or the community, Posting a creative meme, etc. Unacceptable posts: Posting incorrect information to muddy the waters, Posting the same text ad naseum, etc. You get my point. If you want to add something of value, welcome aboard. If you want to troll, please stop.

Master Node operators.
I would like to campaign for beer and babes party in Evan's home State so he (and his better half) can come along and get lashed.
Enough funds for a lottery so that 50 MN operators can drink beer for a whole weekend and pour some over each other and the odd girl or two for a wet t-shirt competition.
All this to be steamed live on youtube.
Lets make it an annual event.
MN owners faces streamed live on youtube = NSA wet dream. http://techcrunch.com/2014/06/01/nsa-facial-recognition/

I've been a longtime supporter of the "Dark" name and concept and ideology. I'm an ex-IT Director turned machine smasher. I haven't seen the perfect new name yet. I certainly have reservations about "Dash". John Kerry on the TV just now say that "We have to stop DASH"
But if John Kerry is against it, I"M ALL FOR IT!

Apple? Right to privacy? http://bgr.com/2015/01/20/iphone-spyware-edward-snowden/“Edward never uses an iPhone; he’s got a simple phone,”Kucherena said. “The iPhone has special software that can activate itself without the owner having to press a button and gather information about him; that’s why on security grounds he refused to have this phone.”

A little perspective is in order. Bitcoin Rush Darkcoin Youtube episode has 1,200 views. 1,100 or more are most likely posters on this forum. This one which is 100% Dark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOlh-g2dxrIhas 45,000 views. Can we stop discussing Bitcoin Rush now?

I ended up selling it on ebay. My calcs say that you'd never get your $740 (+ shipping + power supplies) back anyway. I'm hoping that I converted a fresh body at least. 2300 watts is a lot of power...
