281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to expect now? on: November 18, 2019, 03:02:12 PM
Should we expect a big dump this week ?
We should stop making absurd assumptions at times like this. The market is obviously showing extreme volatility and no one knows when will exactly recovery occur. We will just waste our timed relying on such expectations such as 'the market will recover next week, this week', etc. We should focus becoming patient for now and wait until the recovery occur itself because other people are just being dragged to invest on coins due to the hype created by the majority.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best altcoin which gives 2x profit in 1year on: November 18, 2019, 02:40:30 PM
please suggest me some best altcoins that can easily give 2x profit if I hold them 1-year.
The market still, is covered by downfall and volatility became more complex than before. Therefore, determining which coin would guarantee a 2x profit would be close to impossible. Investing at this moment to huge cryptos while the market prices are still low, will yield to profit in the future but the problem is lack of assurance on which one and when will the recovery occur. So maybe, avoiding to make random investments to coins which are not that popular, will be a better idea, i guess.
283  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Meron pa bang matinong bounty? on: November 16, 2019, 03:24:11 PM

Last na nasalihan ko was Evident Proof bounty last year, eth yung payment sa bounty hunters last November pa and nag-distribute naman sila.

286  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Bakit bagsak ang Ethereum?! on: November 16, 2019, 02:18:25 PM
287  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Is this the RIGHT TIME on: November 16, 2019, 01:57:40 PM

288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Manipulation Pushing the price Further Low on: November 14, 2019, 05:53:25 PM
Bitcoin price fluctuations this week has thrown light on the trading of Bitcoin, as BTC trading is supposed to be manipulated by traders. The media, including the famous analyst Willy Woo who pointed to the trend of market manipulation in the midst of deep studies.

Source: https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/bitcoin-price-analysis-traders-manipulating-bitcoins-market/
We can point the blame on many things that can be a suspect for the manipulation of bitcoin's price. We can point our fingers on China who is currently using its advantage on being a large contributor on the crypto market and start showing the world its benefits while doing things that makes its price go low. We can also blame the Whales who are outsmarting the system by buying large amount of cheap bitcoin to hold and sell when the value gets higher as time passes by.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 14, 2019, 05:25:35 PM
Recently, I heard that China banned holding cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency transactions, so does that mean that having cryptocurrency in China would be a criminal offense? Moreover, why create such a ban in the first place?

We should not believe easily on the news we hear. We should make sure that it is credible enough to be believed by all of us or else we would be guided in the wrong direction. We all know China contributes massively in cryptocurrency and blockchain system and according to the real news, it is still regulated in China. Things became more strict in there but the total use of cryptocurrency was never been made, only for the exchanges the restrictions were made to make sure that no one would abuse the use of it and as a preparation for their own version of crypto.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 14, 2019, 05:00:18 PM
So, everyone should already have heard that Zimbabwe has issued a new currency, because most of us look at Zimbabwe as an example of what goes wrong with Fiat currencies when they fail.  Wink

The problem is that they have a huge shortage of the new currency, so people are only allowed to withdraw a limited amount of it and then there are already people selling it on the street at a premium to people that desperately need it.

So imagine this, you rock up at the ATM and you want to draw $500, but all the ATMs tells you that you can only withdraw a maximum of $100 per day.  Tongue

Luckily for us Bitcoiners, nobody can tell us how much we can use, because we control our own currency.  Wink This is just another reminder of what true Financial freedom are supposed to be.  Grin

Those in the higher positions are just abusing their power to manipulate the citizens of Zimbabwe. No country should experience shortcomings in terms of fiat since it is essential in their everyday lives. We can say now that relying on bitcoin would be a great idea but it would surely take up a lot of time before everything gets to work properly. On the other hand, there's no hard evidence yet that crypto can set a country in motion and boost its struggling economy so we cannot really claim that bitcoin or any crypto would solve the problem.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that Bitcoin becomes quiescent? on: November 14, 2019, 04:36:07 PM
In the year 2130 all of the Bitcoins will have been mined and the only reward at this point is transaction fees,if most people are using Bitcoin just as a store of wealth, then there are very few transactions, which means there is very little reward for mining and so a lot of computers would pull out of the Bitcoin network. Would this be a problem? If large Bitcoin transactions occured sparingly in 2130 and beyond, would the Bitcoin concept still work?
I think the system of blockchain would make it work for those people who will be mining bitcoin in the future. As they mine blocks, it will just circulate making its value stay still or go higher if lots of transactions will be made. On the other hand, there's also a possibility that bitcoin would be quiscent as time passes by. It will end up being like fiat which has a small growth of value from time to time. Though that's the case, we should just focus on what we have right now and on what we can achieve in the future, let fate decide on what will happen to bitcoin as we vanish in this world.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 13, 2019, 05:23:12 PM
Hey.
Yesterday I read an article about banks that began to use blockchain and there was pretty impressive list.
They're also described successful cases of using blockchain in banks (if you're interested - here's the article), so I may assume that using blockchain in bank's system is only a matter of time (and money, of course).

Now, the question: why it takes THAT long the smaller banks to go the same way and start using the blockchain?
We cannot expect the smaller banks to implement a system consisting the transaction and investment of blockchain in it. It would require lot of expenses and time before that happens and considering that a bank is just a small one, we cannot expect it to be suffecient enough to provide the money need to collaborate with blockchain. I think we should first look forward on having cryptocurrency and fiat in harmony under those banks and then hope for more if it works well. We should not be in a hurry or else things won't work properly.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 13, 2019, 04:44:54 PM
First they spend more time on video games than any other generation, an average gen millennial spend 8 hours on games everyday! Ridiculous!

They basement dwellers

They deep on student loan

They no saving

They have no job security

Now they spend more money on bitcoin than all generation!

It never get bored millennial has been on the headlines since the god know when it all began.

Can crypto make millennial more screwed or otherwise? Let’s discuss!
We all know that each generations contributes to the world regardless if it's positively or negatively, the thing is that it contributes on what we have in the world right now. We can sat that millenial generation screwed the world but considering the fact that there are still some people living who are covered as a millenial, we cannot conclude anything yet. If we are going to look at it carefully, millenials are the one who was able to see, invest and use cryptocurrency so the future of the crypto is probably on their hand now, if it'll be successful, then they did not screwed the world but if it wouldn't, we can really say they did.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: November 13, 2019, 03:31:49 PM
It's no secret that many governments and central banks worldwide have paid close attention to the development of Blockchain technology. The same promises to provide lower costs and greater efficiency than traditional systems. Bitcoin's success proves that Blockchain is extremely ideal for finance. Once governments start rolling in their own digital currencies, people could see a reduction in payment processor fees like never before. Not to mention, transactions will become blazing fast within a matter of seconds instead of days.

Which is why, it makes me wonder if the adoption of Blockchain technology for our current monetary system will trigger a massive boost in our economy? After all, Blockchain provides many benefits that are too hard to ignore for central banks and governments worldwide. Everything will be much cheaper and efficient than it used to be with the traditional monetary system of physical Fiat. What are your thoughts? Huh
Blockchain technology is an ideal tool for saving a struggling economy. On the other hand, there's no hard evidence yet that it will surely trigger massive boost towards the economy of a certain country. Though the absence of hard proof can be observed, we should still consider that it is being produced aleady by some countries and the world, therefore we should analyze how it affects their economy to formulate a system that might work in the future with collaboration of blockchain technology.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales Are Selling BTC Before Market Crash: Peter Schiff on: November 13, 2019, 01:55:36 PM
Quote
Peter Schiff ruthlessly shatters the dreams of Bitcoin holders who hope that the top coin will reach new highs, reiterating his point about market manipulations.

Peter Schiff, the CEO of Euro Pacific Capital, is not amused by Bitcoin's latest 40 percent price revival.

The world-famous gold proponent continues to insist that the crypto market is being manipulated by deep-pocketed whales.

In his latest tweet, Schiff states that large Bitcoin holders want to protect themselves from the upcoming market crash by selling their BTC and using delusional holders to cash in.

After numerous pundits tried to wrap their heads around the recent market rally, Schiff took to Twitter to share his own take on Oct. 28. He believes that this Bitcoin turnaround had nothing to do with China and everything to do with whales "suckering in" gullible buyers.

Schiff rose to stardom by accurately foreseeing the financial market crisis in 2008, but Bitcoin price predictions might not be his thing.

As reported by U.Today, he claimed that the BTC price could plunge to as low as $2,000 on Oct. 20, less than a week before Bitcoin recorded its third biggest daily gain in history.

His $4,000 prediction, which was made right after Bitcoin's precipitous plunge to the $8,000 level, also never came to fruition.

Undeniably price manipulation often happens in unregulated crypto markets. Do you agree in this economist statement or do you oppose? Do you believe that recent price surge is cause by manipulation or natural demand?
Investors who are currently considered as whales wouldn't be in their position if they are not strategic and wise. You would definitely see them out there selling bitcoin before the market crash because they know it's the best thing to do. We can say that they are manipulating the price of bitcoin wherein as they sell on high, the price would go down and then afterwards, they can start buying cheap bitcoin to hold it for long and sell it again when the price comes back up. It's all bout outsmarting the system, that's why they ended up becoming Whales.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: November 13, 2019, 01:35:03 PM
For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink

We are all caught on disbelief if we are looking at bitcoin's value right now but if you could have been lucky and was able to buy plenty of bitcoin way back, you would also be surprised on how rich you could have been right now. We are in lots of regrets right now since maybe we met bitcoin before but chose to ignore it but what we have now is the capability to invest on bitcoin still even when its price is very high. We should not waste this opportunity and make the most from it, forget what we missed from the past and start making an action in the present to have a better future in terms of bitcoin.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 12, 2019, 01:32:26 PM
Hello

Recently I started looking into new projects as I have some free time and I'm wondering what do you guys look at when you are deciding which altcoin to buy and hold.

Do you know any projects that you believe has a bright future?

I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

Thank you in advance.
Every investor have their own standards and criteria on choosing the right investment for them. It could be based on factors such as popularity, the influence, the team in which that project belong, etc. At this moment, honestly, it is hard to find a good project to engage myself with. I've seen many projects having huge potential, failed in the long run this year. The problem is the bear market. The coins and projects are falling because of it in which I think it would be better to wait for a little longer for now.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin price shows Bullish Momentum in Bear Market on: November 12, 2019, 12:27:56 PM
The question I think is until when will the bullish momentum occur at this bear market situation. Not to be a pessimist but just to remind other people, the bear market is happening for a year already and we have seen some crypros which showed positivity but did not last that long or afterwards, drowned by the negative market behavior. In my opinion, it is too early to expect a bullrun to happen.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think bounty participate in this year 2019? on: November 10, 2019, 04:29:34 PM
I think participate in the bounty in this year is a losing of our times, because many scam projects and no project have good idea to up to the moon. Really its difficult of choose good project in this see of scams.
We now in the 11st month of this year 2019 but no have any successful project. Personally i have participate few successfully projects Like:
1. Harmony (paid done)
2. Tokoin (not paid yet)

For every bounty hunter need stop our promoting service?
Welcome to share your opinions.
In my opinion, it is no longer the projects which is the problem but the market situation. Bounty campaigns are indeed profitable especially last 2017 but do take note of the market value of the cryptos that time. Coincidence? I think not. The market situation has something to do with the profit from participating to bounties. Most of the projects are failing this year despite of huge potentials and good platforms. But the situation bounty hunters are facing should still not be a reason for them to quit.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 10, 2019, 03:57:16 PM
You need to get a shareable link from the imgur. That's just a link to the website.

Crypto market has no circuits on either sides. Marketing an investment through parade has not a well received history. It would be better to let the market mature and when people would be genuinely attracted towards bitcoin, the market would bull.
I agree, waking the hype won't be the key. If new investors would see the market situation we are currently having, they would surely doubt doing so. Ofcourse that would be great if there would be a recovery before this year end but people should stop making absurd assumptions like something positive is assured because they would surely regret things. Keep in mind the nature of volatility in the market which implies that uprise and downfall of the market cannot be predicted.
