281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DNA and paternity fraud on: April 07, 2024, 03:07:10 PM
Apart from the points that you have listed including infidelity, there is another major point that causes paternity fraud and that is: Money and being financially comfortable.

Some women actually consider somethings as the financial strength of the man to another whom they are sleeping with and can choose a wrong man as the biological father because he has financial strength and that they consider him to be able to take care of her children. This happens even in marriage where the woman is double dating against the husband.

However, the real test is for couples or people who are having issues with paternity to go for DNA test.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 07, 2024, 11:29:19 AM
Well taking break and choosing to play another game work for you but only one works for me and that is to take a break. Usually trying to go into another game after a losing streak won't give a really balanced state of mind because you already having losing mentality that you are fighting to move out of which is the original reason of going into another game, so there is the possibility of chasing those loses back. Maybe you are lucky to have won immediately after changing into another game but to stay away as taking a break does more nerve balancing for me.

283  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can Bitcoin save a nation that owes a lot of money / Debt on: April 07, 2024, 10:08:20 AM
I don't think so, depending on how big their debt is and I'm assuming it's going to be in the billions, they're going to need to accumulate a lot of bitcoin or maybe even invest a huge part of their national budget into bitcoin acquisition since mining after this halving might not be as profitable, with the current price of bitcoin, they need to be on the level of Microstrategy to be able to make payments for their debts and it's a hard task at hand to be honest, that the answer to the question is that it's probably not a way to save Pakistan's debts through bitcoin.

They would be making great mistake if they would invest their budget money in bitcoin, that means they would have to wait for at least a year for the bull to be matured before they cash out into paying countries that they are indebted to. That one year of investment and waiting would have been the year they would implement the budget into different sectors of their economy to see how they can make progress in that year. It will not be a good idea for a country to invest in bitcoin in the hope to build the economy through it . El Salvador for instance have not been a super country financially having invested in bitcoin . In fact they have lost huge value of their bitcoin investment because of the expectation is yet to be accomplished as bitcoin bull is still not there yet, Nayib Bukele is trying to win his second term, reconvince businesses on the need to use bitcoin .
284  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The governments are conscienceless on: April 07, 2024, 07:52:05 AM
What's the interest of a government to the masses in a situation where the nation is experiencing inflations with a poor economy system and the same circle, the masses are crawling to survive but yet the government feels no remorse and yet they in time increases taxes values and utilities bills making it more frustrating and worsening the situation for the poor masses.

Don't always get pained in what government does because it will only make you end up in anger with yourself.

Government will not at all times satisfy every body, some government policies will end up benefiting certain set of people in the area where that policy is made or also affect some others too. At every point therefore, some people go out of jobs or businesses while some increase their income because of that same policy and this is why they say some people benefit from a particular government while some don't, so it depends on the policy and how far it affects the individual.

So we have to always try to have alternative means and options to work it, things won't always be working in our direction.

For the increase in tax, government will tell you it is most appropriate to generate revenue for building infrastructure for development of the country and so they are not concern about individual complain but the focus in the "perceived " benefit of the country.
285  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can Bitcoin save a nation that owes a lot of money / Debt on: April 07, 2024, 07:26:03 AM
For a country's debts to decrease, its economy must develop. Buying Bitcoin does not increase the economy. The financial sector increases the economy only according to statistical data, but if the profits from this sector are not distributed to real sectors of the economy, such as manufacturing, agriculture, medicine, education and others, then the country will continue to borrow and depend on the policies of other countries.

This is right. Investing in bitcoin for the purpose of ROI to repay debts is only going to be a temporal measure and not long lasting thereby plunging the economy back to where it belongs because they will still go back borrowing. A country can make profit in bull season only either with halving because of demand and volatility that will be created and so when the season is off what happens?

Like you have narrated, to take a country out of economic woes and under development, first the country must wipe itself off from corruption because that is a knife that cuts through proper economic planning. Such countries with bad economy have bunch of corrupt government officials and politicians who when infrastructures are located through them, they embezzle the money into private use and then leaving those neighborhood at the mercy of what would have been prevented with such money budgeted.

For economy to grow and leave the poverty and indebtedness line, it must take capital projects and real investment serious. This will increase GDP and improve stand of living.

Human development i and education must also come into the fore and proper budgeting/planning must be made including monitoring. Education is the bedrock of innovation leading to manufacturing. So when this is done, there will be growth in the manufacturing sector and then exporting will be increased while importation is reduced and foreign currency reserve will improve which will bring borrowing to the normal and lowest minimum.

So it takes real planning and effort to draw a country out from borrowing to grow the economy internationally and not by temporal means of bitcoin investment.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 07, 2024, 06:59:47 AM

Then, why not create a platform for predicting the performance of any cryptocurrency or a platform for predicting future trends in the market or both?

What are your thoughts on this?

Well it is going to be a new innovation to add to existing predicting sites but I think it will create hype only at the bull season and after that during the bear the hype will die down then it will not generate money for the site. Most of the coins that creates spontaneous hype are meme coins and they are usually at their moment during the bull season, so after that gamblers may not find it interesting to predict on them.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: considering the advantage of Fiats over Cryptocurrencies on: April 06, 2024, 09:31:32 PM

Everything is life is not so balanced are when you're dealing with the sweetest parts of it, we fails to consider the bitter side of it.
Most of us as at times thought about how Crypto could dominate over financial exchange for payments without considering this certain advantage of the Fiats and also considering that most persons still lives a primitive live to cope with the digitalities of advancements.

The adaptability of cryptocurrency is growing despite the old system of fiat. However, the world will not stop because of those who still call bitcoin bubble that will burst one day and people who have their money invested on crypto will lose all they have. No the world won't stop for all those. Crypto has become an alternative financial transaction globally and the system is such that most payment platform that implore digital means are including bitcoin as part of the payment system. Crypto transaction are faster and not encumbrance of their party which leads to delay.

If you remove the chair wey you take claim up that one mean say na suicide the person want go commit for there na. This one mean say for person to reach up there, you must get some help wey you don get wey make you reach there so e no go make sense say you go con begin treat those people bad because if you do that to someone wey dey bad him too fit try to press another button wey go carry the person come down.

Even if we no still get help to reach up there, maybe on our own effort, make we still dey nice to people around you. Some times self na aboki wey no even get level go press certain button wey go make person life change. So at all times we need to dey treat people nicely whether them dey around us or not.
289  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just another gambling addict story. on: April 06, 2024, 02:47:30 PM

He threatened his mother that he would kill himself if he didn't give it up.

I know of a practical story and experience of someone who actually borrowed money and when he couldn't pay back he killed himself. So his own case was that he didn't tell his relatives or threatened to kill himself rather the public got to know about what happened to him he was already gone, it was the few who were aware that revealed the reason he took his life. The unfortunate thing is that his family are very rich and would have paid back the money with ease without any financial burden for him to be alive. But the guy didn't want the stigma or shame.

So it is a story that is already not far from the public that gamblers borrow money and then they are not able to pay back, some are lucky that the family come to their rescue.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: April 06, 2024, 08:07:04 AM

After digressing on this, I had to visit some online casino centres enquiring from the players and they almost says the same thing and due to the fact that online casino has a potential of bonus profits,  and also offers convenience services, gamblers takes it more serious gaming for profits.

Online casinos are not the only one giving out bonuses. Offline gambling house or casinos also do that from time to time to encourage gamblers to continue playing. Sometimes they organise football competition for their customers and there are promise to sponsor good and selected players to find good clubs. Many more are found as inceptives for customers of offline casinos so it is not only online casino that does any of those you have mentioned as excuse for online casinos to be for profit while offline is for fun. No, they but are means to gamble or stake your money so it depends on the players intention and not where they gamble.

While in the land base gambling, it is more of physical engagements and also one of the P2P characters where has a socialism featured environment that both sides can discuss, argue and even dragging audience attentions in a scenero that it could even turn a crowdy fansing and cheering of a favourite team all full of excitements while the game goes on. So even when they looses the background of the game centre would not have them that feelings of their lost as much as that.

Online casinos also have chat rooms where gamblers can chat and discuss even if it is not physical. It is just the mode for the different kind of casion, we don't expect an online casino to have ingredients of a physical casino or for physical casinos to have the characteristics of online casino  Grin

On a general overview, we must agree that funs is more generated from group of persons more than one individual trying to participate on some activities without a physical connection of others but otherwise, both land base and online casinos can derive both profits and funs.

No we must not because they are the same even though operating differently.

I might not have a physical proof to back this up because it was all of physical enquires and consultations.

Thought as much  Grin
291  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Boring Market Right Now. What You Got? on: April 05, 2024, 05:40:58 PM

Lucky for me, I got out before it all started but right now I've gotta admit that it feels a little boring just sitting on the sidelines and not making any real moves. That said, I still have good reason not to delve back into the open market just yet.

Nice one say you leave before the market trap you but na which side you go trade, bitcoin never really move much today, you just run out  Grin

Instead, I want to try something else in the meantime. Anything else. I'd appreciate suggestions on open lucrative staking options you know, contests, and maybe competitions (that don't involve trading).

I dey feel you too bro because trading no be for everybody, e better make you stay your lane and do the way wey you sabi do. Regards to staking, you no go fit stake btc but you fit stake some others but there return too no go too dey much. I know say you fit stake dogecoin, cartesi, shiba etc, you fit check for binance.

This nysc wey we dey see na cash cow to some people oo so na the more you look the less you go see on top this matter and dem go still continue dey update on programs about NYSC and na so money go dey go into private pocket. Sometime ago bills don come for national assembly but some members no allow the bill fly and their main argument na for national unity to continue but the question be say na how united wey we dey and how the NYSC don play dat role of unity when even when corpers are sent to some places, dey run out from there and go back to their state. Omo this NYSC matter for good make dem carry the one year money give graduate make dem take begin live as job no dey instead of wasting more money inside am.
293  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling problems on different races on: April 05, 2024, 03:25:36 PM

Africans have little of gambling addict because they have only local gambling shops (lack of economic opportunities to improve the level of gambling). so they rarely reach full addiction.

I think the reason for this is the economic factors which is affecting the youths in Africa. The average youth is still struggling for daily bread, trying to make ends meet on the economic hardship and so they have in their subconscious mind the need to survive outside gambling incase gambling prediction fails. So many social amenities are not provided by the African government unlike the government of the developed countries. So a youth has to provide for so many of his survival needs and can't afford to waste resources so much on gambling.
294  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Democracy in Nigeria on: April 05, 2024, 12:37:48 PM
It really amase me when we say that Nigeria is a democratic nation. if u look at what is happening in Nigeria, u will see that power belong to the leaders instead of the people, the masses are voiceless.

The point is that Nigeria masses have always been scared to make the democracy work by ensuring that leaders do what they are suppose to do. Right for peaceful protest is enshrined in the constitution but having coordinated mind is the real challenge. The youth in Nigeria are divided along different lines like especially religion and ethnicity, so that actually affects the togetherness of the youth during election. The youth has what it takes to unite to take over the country for good but den some youth go still run go under the old politicians because dem don brainwash dem out of right things to do and for sake of money.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about cheating in gambling? on: April 05, 2024, 07:46:30 AM
The thing is that gambling is for the sake of money or profit and so many gamblers are capable of cheating to reach that goal of profit either cheating the agent or trying to cheat on the house edge if they can. They can cheat follow gambler too if you are not careful. In offline like gambling shop, many people are actually suspect and so you have to be careful with your personal belongings because different people come in and go.

People who don't like gambling or who don't like gamblers have many reasons that they don't associate with it and it is around the reason of distrust. They see gamblers as people who are capable of stealing from you and in the first place they consider the act of gambling as process of stealing where you didn't invest especially when you are doing multiple bet with little staking and expecting jackpot win.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Agent of Economic stimulant on: April 04, 2024, 09:10:15 PM

So this lead me to be thinking about the word economy and what and what is actually responsible for an economy to grow and what are the economic stimulant

Another reason I can think of that contributes to stimulate the economy is encouraging more and giving grants to support entrepreneurs who are providing jobs in their own capacity to help the economy of those who need to earn and live better in the society.

This is a good advise that will also help the economy because government can not oversee every aspect of the people's wellbeing interms of transparency in distributing whatever benefit to the people because certain officials can hijack it. So to use other outlets like NGO's will help that benefit to the people will get down to the people who need it. Those NGO's can have direct contact with the people and make sure that whatever economic empowerment will get to the people.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: are you expecting Bitcoin to hit $400,000 after the bull run. on: April 04, 2024, 05:36:49 PM

After this halving, we can expect to get big profits. So prepare your Bitcoins and continue buying Bitcoins if you still want them.

Sure. This little deep is for weaker hands to get scared and throw in their towel for the real investors to come in. The bull run proper will be more volatile than what was experienced few months back that bitcoin price got to 73k. After halving there might still be a little drop but it won't last longer before the increase will begin to happen. So it is either the real bull start immediately after halving or it takes effect later in the year but the expectation is for 6 digit figure to be achieved during this halving, so it is still enough space to accumulate and wait for the run  Grin
298  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No matter what don't let your life be controlled by three things on: April 04, 2024, 05:07:40 PM

a person must be able to make peace with his past and not be tied to it. they must be able to accept the current reality and learn from their past experiences to be able to develop and progress in the future.

Past experience may not be bad experience or must not be bad experience and it can also be helpful for the future. This is why they say knowing your past will help you not to go over it again, whether good or bad experience we have to learn from it and learning adds more value to us in the future helping that we navigate through the right channels faster and quicker unlike when we were not equipped with the past.

However, if there is a bad past experience, we do not have to dwell on it because if we keep looking at it, it won't give good strength for building courage to take risk for the future. For example, some times when we meet certain challenges or risk that we should take like investment rist and then we may be foot dragging on it because we took such risk earlier and it didn't work. Some times the past need to be left off where they are while we keep moving on for the future opportunities whose ingredients may also not be the same thing with what was presented in the past, times are not always the same.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lately I've been thinking about this a lot. on: April 04, 2024, 04:33:04 PM

Now I started to think about the real life UFC, maybe this is even happening underground and we don't know? Jake and Mike Tyson's upcoming fight for example is gearing up, many believe that Mike will win, but maybe something like this will happen?

This is not far from what happens around sporting world and betting on it. We need to remember that there is business under these whole thing and that is the more reason that those who are tipped to win certain times don't get to win but how do you know about it? You will never know except an insider reveals to you.

Real gamblers don't take friendly matches seriously likewise fight put out for shows  The upcoming fight is not a serious match and so anything can happen. Mick Tyson might get a bigger tip to lose the match and so be it, he gets to benefit both sides and that gives him more financial balance. We have to always consider the business in such as it may not be winner takes all.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Church Business on: April 04, 2024, 04:08:04 PM

If what op wrote is accurate I think people need to change and start growing up with a developed mindset, being a pastor is not the only way to escape the bad economy situation so what's the point building a church without a call, respecting the body of Christ is necessary with integrity. Lastly not all area will face same issue so there's no point generalizing.

Rather people who have no business with God doings have forced themselves into the biblical world and use that as disguise like they are true converts of God's sheep. If truly church is performing its actual purpose then corruption should be an abomination in those places where churches are more prevalent, rather those politicians steal people's money and pay up tithes, give bountiful offerings then build churches, maintain them and gift cars to pastors making them to shut their mouth in the real admonition of those corruption going on in government. It is the church that is suppose to be vocal to call out corrupt government officials and politicians so that they can change from embezzling the public funds to utilizing them appropriately for the benefit of the people.

Again, joblessness has made some people run into becoming pastors and this is the bane to the economy because there won't be a progressive mind in a corrupt society.
