2901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Disappear Day on: June 01, 2019, 04:19:19 AM
Since satoshi has been confirmed to be not coming back, the bitcoin community now have to fend for ourselves.

I propose we make a bitcoin holiday in honor of our legendary anonymous founder and to observe the fact that the bitcoin community will be just fine after the inventor of bitcoin left.

Even if Gavin is hit by the bus tomorrow, we can live.

He's a human being or they are a human being in case they are a group of people, he might change his mind and do the unthinkable by coming back to us, so let's not have that  Satoshi Disappear Day, his legacy is on us and doing great, he is still with us.
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are out of control = $500 in ten minutes on: June 01, 2019, 04:07:02 AM
Time to do something about the few whales who keep cheating everyone out of their life savings.

Let's do a fork and take anything over 10BTC away from those big addresses and redistribute it fairly to everyone.  It is ridiculous and totally ruining everything when one person has 1000s and can mess up the order book on a major exchange.  Where is the fairness in bitcoin?

We have to end the whales who are out of control.

It's an open market, there's nothing we can do about that, we can't do a fork every time, there's a lot of forks already, every coin has their own whales, they are brave to invest everything they've had and they are making profit for a long time, I'm not defending them, but every kind of investing there's always whales.
2903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB overtake ETH? POLL on: June 01, 2019, 02:55:26 AM
Ethereum deserves its position in the market and he is always a big threat to Bitcoin, but I don't think Binance can beat it,  the support is very strong for Ethereum, not only for traders, investors but for developers as well, and Ethereum is not yet reached its full potential in the market.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: June 01, 2019, 02:31:05 AM
As the title itself, I’m thinking about the valid reason why gamblers continue to gamble even if they are losing a lot of money. Is it hard to understand that gambling will just make your money lose if you still continue?

So many addiction stories, people shares their losing experience and yet you are still gambling. The more you play the bigger the chance to lose the money. What is your reason to continue? Are you willing to chase your loses despite of the risk?

Chase to fall? 🧐 - (Not a photo of mine, just for an illustration of being greed)
In the first place you should not treat gambling as a way to make money, you will end up frustrated if you are thinking that you will play and make money if you are the read the TOS of every gambling sites and experts opinion about gambling, you will understand that gambling should be for entertainment only.
2905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: May 31, 2019, 02:57:59 PM
Today Want to  Ask , did Satoshi Created bitcoin to solve poverty  issues or he created this bitcoin so solve financial transaction problems !!
Is crypto  a get rich quick scheme as people are putting their  mindset into  it  ?

Even if we don't admit it, Bitcoin has positive and negative aspects, yes, it is decentralized, but people are using it for money laundering, yes it is anonymous but people thinks it can be used by terrorist, yes it is volatile and you can make a profit, but people are buying at the wrong time making them lose a lot Bitcoin is great but it also has loopholes..
2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: May 31, 2019, 02:39:38 PM
ICO may not grow as strongly as before but I believe it will not end. STO has no clear rules yet, IEO only succeeds on large exchange platforms, And that will not be enough to meet the needs of many projects.

You still think that ICO is not going to die, well check the scam sections and projects that have failed in the market and the number could go up to thousand, ICO is not worth to get in anymore and it's only a matter of time people will stop seeing ICO based coin, because it lacks support anymore from investors and traders.
2907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: May 31, 2019, 02:27:25 PM
In my town there are ants that only appear once a year and it is common for children to capture one and start a fight against others ants.

San Juan Ants also known as Chicatanas

This made me think ...  What would happen if this took a step forward and stopped being just a children's game?

How would it be if you could bet?
How would the people see it , its just as crazy as a dog or a cock fights?
What do you think?

We don't have ants here in our place but we do have spiders fighting with each other, I watched on one popular documentary TV show, that it's a very lucrative business and players are making $500 a week maintaining these spiders and winnings from spider derby, it's very exciting to watch this spiders fight but itis illegal because some spiders can become extinct in the long run.
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fundraising scam ,the way I see new projects on: May 31, 2019, 02:21:42 PM
Project developers are in no risk at all ,the investors are the ones in total risk ,devs only have to tender a working project and ask people for funds ,who says ICO and IEO is not a favoured business? That's why we have many not working projects, fake ,scam and pump and dump projects in crypto space..I have make up my mind never to invest in fund raising projects anymore ,I can name 100s of coins with no ICO and No Premine that are doing very fine in this market condition ,they are just here for the fund raising

Bounty hunters and investors are now realizing it now, that it's not profitable or worth investing in ICO some bounty hunters are now picking campaign whose coins are already in the market, some of them are transferring to gambling sites with signature promotion.
2909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: May 31, 2019, 02:10:48 PM
Facebook is finalising plans to launch its own crypto-currency next year.

It is planning to set up a digital payments system in about a dozen countries by the first quarter of 2020

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-48383460

Sounds old, but this might be true this time.
This time it's really true, they are making headlines everywhere, so we can expect the realization of that new coin before the end of the year, in time for Bitcoin halving, I have a strong belief that these two big headlines will help Bitcoin reach a new all time high.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: May 31, 2019, 12:43:04 PM
Ethereum, Mirai, and Eos are three of my choice, we need a coin with lower fees and faster transactions, players want to play right away and they do not want to wait long to see their deposit and these two coins, there are many coins in the market that can do what these two cons can do, but these three are on the top.
2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: May 31, 2019, 04:25:25 AM
There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.

You forgot to mention that the ICO platform is the easiest way to scam people, you can check the scam section 90% are ICO based, they are creating a fake team member their white paper are just copied from other project and their platform is not working at all then just want a cash cow and after they got their money they will run away.
2912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you prefer? Sportsbet or casino on: May 31, 2019, 03:14:34 AM
how do you play gambling? What is your purphase? Earning money or spending time ?

Both gamblings is a good place where you can spend and at the same time make money if you wiser you will not make it an income generating venture, it's hard to do that because the online operator is the one that really makes money from gambling and that's a fact.
2913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: May 30, 2019, 11:42:53 PM
I'm glad you've found a way on how to keep your winnings, this is very important because not many gamblers can do that, sometimes they are very excited when they had a long run of winning and they are trying to extend further to win more, unfortunately winning run can end anytime and you can lose all your winnings, because gambling is very unpredictable.
2914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 30, 2019, 04:20:12 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy

It happens to every gambler, in fact, it's a habit that people must control, the chronic gambler does not count his losses, only his winnings, so he can come back again and again and continue to play and bet, in fact, they just want the feeling of playing than actually winning a jackpot.
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: May 30, 2019, 10:41:54 AM
Have you been able to resist the addiction and not let gambling consume you?

Have you been able to control the urge to place that bet, spin that wheel or roll
that dice? For you to be able to go a length of time away from the adrenaline.

Would be interested to hear how people can control this.

If you are going to play the first time, be sure to bring along a friend or a relative that does not have interest in gambling, the guy that you bring along will be the one to stop you every time you make additional bet after you've lost the allocated funds, this is good so you will not lose control when gambling with your own money.
2916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: May 30, 2019, 10:23:52 AM
i want to know did you make profit in gambling or lost and i know 99% people lost their money in gambling Gambling is only for fun not a way to make money what you think Gamblers Wink Always Gamble what you afford to Lose Don't Give up LOL

There's a possibility that you can lose all you've got in gambling, especially if you lack control of your betting, gambler keeps telling himself that he must continue betting even though he is losing, because he puts in mind that the next roll will be his turn to be the lucky guy, wherein so many cases it never happens, your 10 BTC lost is a huge amount for an average person.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: May 30, 2019, 09:14:52 AM
I don't want to rely on my hope in gambling when it comes to financial if I win I win because it's my lucky day, but not all days are like lucky days for gamblers, I never want to think that when I'm losing I have to sustain because winning is not very far, if I'm going to do this, I'm like a compulsive gambler with no direction.
2918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: May 30, 2019, 08:47:44 AM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?

if you are players of both, you can tell the big difference, gamblers for excitement on winning an extra cash and beating the system, they want to be the lucky guy that day something any online game cannot offer, on online games so much depends on your skill and you know what's going to happen under such circumstances, you even have a control on the situation.
2919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: {ANN} "CCN- The World's best Custom Contract Network" on: May 30, 2019, 08:28:26 AM

2920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 30, 2019, 06:31:37 AM
I know my statement may sound pretty hostile on this part of the board, though I'm not talking about the person who will buy a superbowl box or makes a friendly bet with someone over one big game. I think the degenerates are the people sitting around gambling on every game they can possibly gamble on.

I have friends like this, people that will gamble on Mexican Womens Tennis if they can win (or most likely lose) some money on the game. It's a crushing addicition that we've normalized in our culture to make it seem like it's just apart of life. It shouldn't be, and children at a young age should be stopped from gambling until they know the horrible outcomes that gambling can cause. I support every effort by regulators to stem out the bad actors in the gambling field in order to stop children from being hooked on this.

I'd like one of you to change my mind, or at least make me think different about gambling. Because as of right now, I have a pretty negative view on it.

Maybe you have not met someone who is a responsible gambler, who treat gambling as a form of entertainment, and who knows how to stop and when to stop, please don't treat it like that, if you have friends or known people like that, they don't deserve understanding and help, because it's hard to be in their position.
