Stamp is having Problems with their banking software as they stated in their news release, They said that it will take couple of days to fix, so no money in and no money out, this is why the price didn't spike with Gox and actually it was the first time when BTC-e price was higher than stamps for at least $40 te past few days, it as strange but when I saw the news release everything was clear to me.

if you read their news page and their tweets you would know that they are having problems with their Banking software

Dear Bitstamp clients,

We are currently experiencing some problems with our banking software. As a result, deposits and withdrawals may be delayed. We expect this issue to be solved be resolved tomorrow or the next day.

We kindly ask our customers with pending transfers to remain patient and refrain from submitting additional support tickets on the matter. We will announce as soon as this issue gets resolved.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
The Bitstamp team

My withdrawal is in "processed" status since 12/11. So I don't think that this has anything to do with their software update.

what software update ?  I wrote Banking software, do you know how these things works ?

my explanation for what is happening is :

- early adopters want to cash out at a sweet spot which is now
- so many new comers who still didn't get used to volatility of Bitcoin and panic sell and buy.
- new big players trying to manipulate the market for a sweet buy spot

2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt-Coin to Start Investing Into? on: November 19, 2013, 06:51:10 AM
Its likely the in the long run no alt coin will out preform bitcoin.
but that dost mean their isn't opportunists in the alts
i like FTC personally, but its hard to say which alt coin will survive and hit critical mass.

what FTC, really , I didn't expect that from a long time member, to not mention the Pre-mine and the attacks that FTC had the checkpoint system and FTC "devs" are strugelling to bring FTC to date.

conclusion invest in BTC or LTC, BTC is still cheap also LTC has a great potential, other than that I wont risk my money.

To all miners who haven't submitted a message yet: Hurry up! The deadline is tomorrow.

hey Pooler, I would like to check the messages, where can I see them ? I know that you are a talented dev, did you ever thought of Blockchain website similar to blockchain.info with your simple and magic touch to it. I think we would all benefit from that.
2934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 18, 2013, 01:57:13 PM
I once remember KNC asking the community if we would be interested in a Litecoin (Scrypt) FPGA/ASIC miner, it was on their home page few days. I wonder now if they will be able to do it or if they have interest at all,  after rolling out and selling all they have with this 28nm Project they will have plenty time for development.

I really wonder if they were serious about it.
2935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 18, 2013, 10:57:24 AM
A picture is worth a 1000 words:

Basically, you started putting more money into LTC miner pockets at the time LTC mining was already quite profitable. Congratz, stay dumb!  Grin
you have no idea of what you are talking about, if you have a 10,000 KH/s mining farm that uses 4.5KWh at this price $5.4 you make only $24 a day assuming that there is no pool fee and 100% up time and you pay only $0.15 KWh.

which means that you are looking at ~ 12 months ROI, how is this more money to miners pockets? and I will add that LTC difficulty is now at 1311 which most likely will double soon.

Edit: who gives a shit about what you think anyways, if you don't even know how common sense works, you come here spreading FUD based on nothing rather emotions and your hate on LTC.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Purchasing Litecoin on: November 18, 2013, 10:12:52 AM
the easiest way is to buy locally, visit www.litecoinlocal.org and find someone near your area to trade with, there is multiple methods for paying meeting is person is one of them, and Escrow is also integrated

Interesting max is getting into the prediction game.

More interesting an ex Wall Street guy could be so wrong and now see they're planning to kill Bitcoin and replace it with ixCoin.

Why am I alone on this?

I think I'll tweet Max and give him a heads up.  I've already tweeted 5 other billionaires so what's a Wall Street Millionaire.  lol.

Edit:  done.

Gee, I wonder if Max Keiser will respond to my crazy theories that Litecoin will never see $50, Bitcoin will soon be killed & go to ZERO and ixCoin will quickly be made the replacement currency and shortly after IXC will be rebranded by Zurich to XIC and become the global currency which will enslave the masses.

Nope, I don't think he'll actually respond to that.  lol.

ok my friend , I will once again remind you, we are talking facts here, so lets wait and see what will happen, I have no idea either, I still don't have a full understanding about the whole situation, but I am sure it is good news for LTC if Max Keiser mentioned it (I thought he was anti alts) then there must be something big to happen soon, lets be patient and see what comes next.

well $5.6 not bad right, and the LTC/BTC  value is rising so fast, yes I guess you were right, If a coin is dead when the price keep skyrocketing than Litecoin is sure dead
LTC/BTC has kept on falling, but it's the LTC/USD price that has been rising.

LTC/BTC recovered from 0.0089 to 0.0105 and I have hear some rumors that few big players are investing in LTC and this is just the start, so eaither way I am in a win win situation, My BTC keep rising short term as well my LTC for the long term Wink

WHY are u so sure about BTC is riseing for short term?!

didn't mean short term as you understood it, maybe I used the wrong words, let me collaborate, BTC went from a low of $85 the 1st of October to 600 today only one month and a half, which is damn good and this is a short term invest that gives a big return, LTC in the other hand went from $1.6 to $5.7 which is a bit slower than BTC but yet is healthy long term success.
