Personal information is the biggest commodity of the Internet. All the big companies need it to feed their algorithm on what kind of products to over us. That is why privacy is so important. We shouldn't give our data away for free. First of all we should be informed on what kind of information is being collected and where its being sold to. Just look at the Robin Hood broker disaster. They offer the cheapest trades but will sell your information to hedge funds who are going to frontrun you. We need to protect ourselves better.

Lawyer files lawsuit against US government for 45,000 vaccine deaths.

4-minute video.

Cool

How do you get 45,000 families to file the same class action lawsuit? That's some serious negotiations skills. I wouldn't be too optimistic, lawsuits against the government are always tricky. Wouldn't it better to file the lawsuit against the big pharma companies? The Jury might be more willing to award money from big companies than the government.
2963  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to edit pdf files? on: July 20, 2021, 03:10:45 PM
It depends how much you want to edit, for just adding things I would recommend getting Adope Acrobat Reader Pro. It cost a little money but they over a lot of tools. If you only need to edit one document and this won't reoccurring then there are also free alternatives. But if you are going to do it a lot in the future, just go for the pro version.
2964  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I start betting on sports? on: July 20, 2021, 08:13:09 AM
I've seen more losers than winners. It's your choice.

If you have in edge in a sport and know something that most of the other people don't know, then you could try and profit of it. Without any special knowledge I wouldn't recommend going into sports betting. There are professionals who make a living of sports betting but these guys spend a lot of time to stay up to date to all news about their favourite sport. If we only bet because we heard that there can be made money with it, we will likely lose or just break even. And in the end the only one really profiting is the bookmaker.
2965  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA EU TRADE WAR on: July 20, 2021, 08:04:09 AM
I am not following the trade war between USA and EU very closely. Trump did create new protections for some part of the economy but didn't Biden revert these changes again? I remember that there were some negotiations for a free trade agreement but it got blocked in the end. The democrats are more for free trade than the republicans, so it could be that under Biden now these talks will be held again. In the end trade wars are hurting both countries, free trade would be the best for all of us.
2966  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Poll] At what point will you stop complying with Covid restrictions? on: July 20, 2021, 07:08:55 AM
People seemed all too willing in my opinion to give up their freedoms based on their government's wishes surrounding this Covid flu.  At what point would you as a citizen decide enough is enough and you are not willing to comply with their guidance any longer?  Maybe you were ok with masks, willing to get a shot, think others should before going outside, don't mind a 'jab' every 6 months, but don't think people should be jailed for not doing so...  I'd like to see the results of where you as a citizen would draw the line, and feel free to post comments about what you would do once that line is crossed by your government.

You are missing one answer in your poll and that is to always comply. I understand that people feel violated if the have to take the vaccine. But we need to think for other people, not only ourselves. I am fairly young and even if I would get the corona virus it would probably just be mild  symptoms. My grandmother however with 90 years is not going to have a mild corona infection. I don't want to risk getting her sick, that's why I got the vaccine.
2967  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shopping Online on: July 20, 2021, 06:54:28 AM
I buy all the appliances and electronics from honeywell, small things for home - Amazon and clothes from few different online stores (Abercrombie, Next etc). Think if I should start ordering groceries too, on the other hand - I enjoy to buy in a small local stores. At the moment I live in the place with not too many stores around so don't really have a choice, also have troubles with deliveries here and there but both Amazon and honeywell customer service are very good. I understand people which hate online shopping but I also don't want to put myself and my family in danger by going to the shopping mall for a screw driver, phone or a blouse.

This probably how the future is going to look like, buying everything online and getting it shipped to your door. If you work from home then there almost no reason to leave the house anymore. I used to buy everything from amazon too in the past, but since I found out they are not paying any taxes I had to stop. The business model of amazon is great, tax evasion is wrong and we shouldn't support such practices.
2968  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do not trust everything you see in the internet on: July 19, 2021, 04:08:07 PM
One stream of information about an event can hardly be truth but a conglomerate of information about event truth can be derived.
Comparing the internet to other source of information we will observe that the internet create room for multiple view of an event.
Note: information from radio station s are refined not to create offend existing government but internet express are given without existing any kobo or considering anybody.
I believe Vita information can be getting from internet than the radio station.

Being critical towards everything new we see on the internet is important in todays world. The world is full of fake news, especially non reliable sources like Twitter or Facebook make it very hard to get reliable news online. I read in an article that around 60% of the young people today get their news from Facebook. Thats crazy, everybody can post something on Facebook, there is no requirements to check your sources or to provide a clear picture of a matter. That is also why trusting in online advertising is not right.
2969  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your view on cannabis? on: July 19, 2021, 03:39:07 PM
Nothing wrong with weed in my opinion. Tried it myself back in university but now I am just too old for this stuff. I always found it easier to be around stoned people than be around drunk people. Alcohol makes people violent whereas weed just makes people chilled out. If I had to choose between the two I would probably pick weed.

No way this is going to happen. This is the dream of the FED, but investors are making their own decisions. Most of us are being on the crypto market to get rid of government influence and control. We want something to store our money outside of the government reach. Buying digital dollars would mean the exact opposite.
2971  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Do you do in your free time? on: July 19, 2021, 09:30:47 AM
I only spend my free time in reading and Watching movies .

also some of my time are being put here in Bitcointalk.org.

It's good to have priorities. I like to read English books and watch movies in English to practice my language skills. Together with communicating in English on this forum it is a great way to not forget the things I learned in school. In my free time I always try to something for leisure and something to improve my skills.
2972  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AFRICA: where did they lose it ? on: July 19, 2021, 08:40:51 AM
For hundreds of years, Africa has been controlled by some world big countries, such as mines, petroleum, communication stations, and so on. The people have been slaved. Even today, in Africa, the leaders of African countries are puppets. There is no hope in Africa.

Many foreign countries have even today a strong influence in Africa. There are many natural resources which companies and countries try to get their hands on. 100 years ago the Western countries were the dominate countries, today it seems that China is taking over that control. The high level of corruption in Africa makes them very vulnerable for foreign influence with deep pockets.
2973  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be careful of android apps even the ones which has thousands of downloads on: July 19, 2021, 08:00:30 AM
Oh wow that's crazy, good thing you double checked before using. I used some picture editing apps myself in the past and to be honest I never really double checked what kind of access these Apps have on my phone. I used a mobile wallet in the past for my crypto coin, that could have gotten horrible wrong. We need to be more careful with our personal data and know who is using it.
2974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it safe to us to get Covid -19 Vaccine? on: July 19, 2021, 06:20:06 AM

Albert Bourla Pfizer CEO does not take the poision shot, what a surprise
https://youtu.be/mTH5D3Tyb8c?t=98

This is fake news - Albert Bourla got the covid vaccine already.

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/03/30/fact-check-pfizer-ceo-albert-bourla-received-covid-19-vaccine/7028843002/

Why are so many anti vaxxers falling for fake news? It is just a matter of time until the vaccine will be mandatory in all countries.
2975  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU ANY OF YOU WORKOUT?🏋💪 on: July 19, 2021, 06:14:42 AM
Do any of you guys work out?

How do you maintain a habit of working out and not getting tired of it after a few days or weeks?? Huh

Since the Gyms were closed during the corona pandemic I am working out less. At home it is much harder to find a workout routine. I usually only do smaller sessions now of only 15 minutes in the morning. The best thing I found out for myself is to switch around the workout, keep it interesting and do different body parts each time. Maybe having some workout videos on your TV or just listening to great music like "Eye of the Tiger" can help.

Don't mind those peeps as they are still in the middle of finding evidences and facts that will support the very core of their stands.

I am witnessing a new problem on this "finding evidences" in my surroundings, but in the most unexpected way:

In my case, my partner, the one who got mad at me because of my decision of "waiting and see" a few weeks ago (I'm still young and healthy enough) is now getting worried on the effects the jab she already got will have in her body in the future, and this is happening to more and more people.

It doesn't make much sense for the already vaccinated to keep searching for side-effects!! Most likely nothing will happen and, even if it happened, what do they get with that worry? Undecided

Once we got the vaccine I don't think we should be looking for any side effects too hard. The human body always has something that we could find an interpret as a side effect of the vaccine.   Lets say its raining an you have a headache then we don't know if it is really due to the vaccine or just a general issue. Another problem is that more and more countries are making the vaccine mandatory, so no point in fighting in it anymore.

The Chinese influence is everywhere these days. It's kind of sad that they buy themselves into Youtube and Twitch streamer just to change the stories. The biggest influence I recently saw was during Euro 2020, so much advertising in the stadiums was in Chinese. Which is crazy, because nobody in Europe speaks actually chinese. So does it mean that there were more chinese viewers than western? I wish the western governments would step up and do something against it.
2978  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Do you do in your free time? on: July 17, 2021, 11:27:54 AM
I don't have much free time. Work and study take up most of my day. But when I have a free minute, I watch videos on YouTube or on Tiktok. In fact, meaningless videos help me relax, because when I watch em, i don't think about anything Smiley

Same for me, since the corona pandemic I have a little bit more free time but its still not a lot. Most of the time in the evenings I just watch some TV or gamble. The most time each week I probably spend playing poker.
2979  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use deodorant? on: July 16, 2021, 11:44:22 AM
no because i like to smell bad

Lol, isn't it that people like their own smell and its just others who find it disgusting? Like with farts.

For me deodorant is mandatory, every day after taking a shower. Parfum is good too but I only use it when going out and special occasions.

A few weeks ago before the EM 2020 I said on the thread that you can try to go into sports betting during these large tournaments because there are some high favourite teams that will guarantee a good payout. Unfortunately I was wrong, this year EM was a disaster for me. I lost my last 6 bets in a row and blew a lot of money. In the end it would have been better to not gamble at all. So many games went into overtime and penalty shootout that either team could have won.
