I can't make a video beacause they are at my friends house Tongue

Turbo mode is available but it states that it's still in beta.

Can you please make a screenshot of the settings-menu...

I wanna know how do I enter my cgminer data for a mining pool.

Strangely, bitmine has ommited this in their "Support" Screenshots for the web-interface.
http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=5284

lol, but isn't it nice of them that they help explain that the harddisk icon is in fact a harddisk... huh, who would have thought that...

Btw, these things are loud and generate a lot of heat Smiley

Nice pics...

Yes I assume they are hot and loud... that's why they won't run in my livingroom.
2983  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 26, 2014, 02:54:52 PM
Guys,

maybe a stupid question, but how can you see what you queue# is?

You have to ask them.
2984  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 26, 2014, 01:21:39 PM
Hoarders are important don't get me wrong, but miners are the blood of BTC.
I want to be a part of that "bloodline". :-)

I am in it for the long haul...

Even if it means shelling out BTC 120 to buy equipment that will only generate BTC 20 over it's lifetime, because (correct me if I'm wrong), those are the current numbers for December 2013 delivery batch we are looking at?

I am sorry, but someone has to do the work.

We wouldn't have those fancy tablets without chinese slave labour. As harsh as this sounds...

In a strange way it's the same with BTC mining. Nobody forces you to buy a miner. You are lured into it because of idealistic ideas and the hope of a future rise of BTC price.
This is a good enough payout for me....

EDIT: Also most miners dump their freshly mined BTC immediately on the market. How about placing a sell order for the amount of fiat you wish to get, instead of dumping the BTC like a daytrader.
Why not place a sellorder for 10k $ for every BTC. And just wait.
Think like a gold miner.
2985  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 26, 2014, 12:52:32 PM

Not this stupid discussion again, mining at a loss is stupid, even if the price goes to $99,999,999.00/BTC in the future because you would be much better of spending the money you spend on hardware and electricity on buying BTC and just holding it (instead of having the stress of having to deal with companies like Bitmine. And stress it is, I hope people realise how much uncertainty and anxiety they are causing us!)

Enough with this argument.

Without miners bitcoin would be already dead. They are the ones who keep the network secure and working.

Yes, you can buy BTC and make a better investment, instead of running a miner.

BUT, imagine a world where everyone is working in the financial sector, and NO ONE is doing real work (like farming, building, transporting, etc) how would society work then???

Not at all.

Same with BTC. If we had only BTC buyers and everyone hated the miners, BTC would be dead. It doesn't work this way.

Hoarders are important don't get me wrong, but miners are the blood of BTC.
I want to be a part of that "bloodline". :-)

I am in it for the long haul...
2986  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 26, 2014, 11:32:12 AM

Even this "clarification" is unclear (at least to me)

I totally agree.

Giorgiomassa proved that he himself doesn't understand his "crystal clear" CPP...

It's incredible if you think about it.

2987  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 05:55:32 PM
All right, my miner is on its way Smiley
#39 in queue has been shipped...

pics or it didn't happen.    Cheesy
2988  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 05:04:35 PM

I think the 60% is due to the 200GH/s module size -- my original order was 1TH, so 50% would be 2.5 modules so they shipped 3.

Anyway, I am happy for you that bitmine admits to making a mistake.

I hope we can capitalize on this remaining shred of honesty... or is this just antonio?
2989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 04:51:46 PM
Wow - I heard back from bitmine support regarding the 20% CPP applied to my shipment. They say the 20% CPP for my order was a typing mistake in my shipping email, and the actual bonus applied was 60%!

I woke up to this email in my inbox. Delivery is still scheduled for tomorrow so I'll post then with details.

Antonio (Bitmine AG)

Hi Mr xxxxx,
It was my typing mistake, your compensation is 600Gh/s according to the Customer Protection Plan,

This doesn't make any sense...
How come Antonio gives you 60% compensation, but giorgiomassa clearly stated you can get maximum 50%:

Ok enough now.

CPP and refunds deadline

7) Refunds are not mandatory: if you don't request them with our refund request form, we won't be doing this automagically for you. You can opt to wait for your 50% (the maximum) compensated order to be delivered for any amount of time.

This is completely ridiculous. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand does.

EDIT: well ok, I guess with 50% you would also recieve those 600 Ghs additional moduls, so maybe it makes sense after all...
2990  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 04:30:41 PM
I have had businesses where the demand was as insane as it is here right now, but I never took advantage of that. I wanted my clients to come back in the future.

I agree... that's what makes bitmines behaviour even more questionable... since their devices are modular and you would think they want to encourage their customers to COME BACK and purchase additional moduls...
...atleast until they have the complete set of moduls.

But forget that now.
Not even with a 50% deduction would I order additional moduls, should I recieve the devices in the next month or so.

Shoulda Coulda Woulda.
2991  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 03:57:21 PM
WTF?

I understand that some people were not acting/talking in a nice way in the other thread.
But I can also 100% understand why they did. I feel like they do, yet did not raise my voice too often, yet.

I'm utterly pissed right now. I stated earlier how Mr. Massa could easily have prevented the shitstorm that rains upon him. What I have proposed is an absolute standard when doing business.
Instead he freely decided to go the path he did and fucked up each and every person involved in this drama.
Then he decides that he can't stand the reactions he himself has caused and closes the official thread?
Seriously: UMAD?!!!

Exactly.

And the hilarious thing is, that ONLY now that he has closed the discussion, he came up with clarifying news about how things are.

It's like he finally spoke his mind and slammed the door (I got the power!!), giving us no chance to react to what he said.

What a childish behaviour.

2992  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 03:20:52 PM
Hey, now that the official thread is closed...

how will I be informed about updates from bitmine?

Should I subscribe to their newsletter?

lol, the situation is so ridiculous... they closed their one most important spot where everyone assumed they will post news and update.

Hilarious...

Let's see how long it takes for them to reopen the thread.

CPP and refunds deadline
Confusion would be the best term to describe an otherwise very straightforward policy. A dedicated page explaining in simple words how the CPP works has been available here http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=850 since day 0, but it looks like it wasn't clear enough, or just not read by most people. Let me resume some key points:

2) Refunds can be asked on the 71th day of delay based on the committed shipment date, which is the one published when you place the order.

And I continue to be confused.....

I have 1 desk into the January Batch and I don't have ANY committed shipment date.

My order says "CoinCraft Desk (January batch) × 1" and if I click on it I have the 404 error message.
The same with me. I never recieved a committed shipment date.
I recieved a payment instruction.
And after paying I had to ask for their confirmation... and recieved a simple email as a reply to another question I had asked them.

This email was titled "confirmation"
Quote
Dear Mr XXXXXX,
your order payment is confirmed and your goods are queued to be ready for shipment the first week of February.

About your request for screenshots of the interface, unfortunately i don't have anything available at the moment . Please subscribe on our newsletter and you will be informed when more infos/screeshops of the interface are updated.(It will be release of those infos during December)

So yes, they answered. But not with an official email like the payment instructions... it was more like in the form of an irrelevant email...
That confused the shit out of me from the start.
2994  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 02:44:29 PM
I think this UP TO was there long ago , whatever that is.
Well let cool things down , we are on the same ship lets hope our orders will ship soon.  difficulty is now 3b already. Roll Eyes  KEEP IT UP !!!!!!!

No, with those news, I myself do not hope anymore for the devices. I would rather have a refund in BTC in two months...

CPP is worse than I expected, you were never supposed to get more then 50% hashing compensation.

It's incredible that giorgiomassa left this information out, until now.

And now that he let's it out, ---> DISCUSSION CLOSED.

Tell you one thing guys.

I will bump this thread up every day, this MUST be made visible for everyone to see.
2997  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 02:32:17 PM
Just wow.

What I assumed until now:

I have ordered a coindesk and a coinrig. February week 1 batch.
My CPP was triggered a few days ago.
28 February I can count on an additional module.
To this point there is no working prototype of a coinrig.

Now based on new information that I read out of giorgiomassa's statement, I assume this:

No matter how long I have to wait, I will maximum get 50% additional hashing power. Maximum.
Even if they will be late for 6 months.
It's up to me to ask for a refund.

I payed with BTC... for 6000 $... that was about 7 BTC when I payed them in november.

If I read giorgiomassa statement right... If I were entitled to a refund now... he would give me more BTC back?
About 12 BTC with a current rate of 500$ per BTC?

...

What a fu**ing confusing shit. Now with this new constellation... more and more I do desire a refund, and not the devices anymore.
2998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 11:49:55 AM

Mit Auslösung der Bestellung wurde auch eine Lieferverspätung von 61 Tagen akzeptiert. Diese akzeptierte Verspätung ist noch nicht verstrichen.

So, when exactly did you order? When did they promise to ship.

Are you still planning to do a "Betreibung" on bitmine?
2999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 25, 2014, 11:48:30 AM
we achieve 1.3Ths in labo, but the units become very hot fast and generate an high error %, there are still more work to do on the firmware side, to tuning volatagese ecc, next update will give you better performance,
Can you comment on the dates being used to calculate CPP modules?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291141.msg5345916#msg5345916

The way it looks I fear that many people will NOT recieve the promised CPP but much lower amounts of moduls.

It should now be clear that bitmine will skew the contract whatever way they can to NOT have to give us much more additional amounts of moduls, other then maybe one or two moduls.

Ok, they sneaked out of the turbomode with the "turbo mode up to" word spin.

But I am not so sure how they plan on getting out of the CPP... because even when I assume the worst case, we should recieve atleast one module after a month, and additional 30% for every additional month.
3000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Honest Swiss people... on: February 24, 2014, 10:51:27 PM
Sorry people for this swiss scam, its a fucking shame for the whole country! fucking scammer company!

But...
giorgiomassa sounds Italian?

Switzerland is sort of a mixed country. It's not as old a country as its neighbours (germany, italy, france, austria)...

So switzerland has 4 official languages (german, french, italian, rumantsch)... and you will find all kinds of names in switzerland, italian, french and german sounding names.

Not that it has any meaning, but giorgio massa could be swiss citizen, who knows... I don't care. It has nothing to do with the swiss or switzerland.
