2981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: May 21, 2019, 05:26:48 AM
"Sometimes winning isnt good at all". This is the phrase i always got in my mind whenever i saw someone or read something that pertains to gambling addiction. I see that people are so greedy and do anything to win. My observation is that, people experience winning ofcourse in gambling so they take many chances and risk bets to win again. Either the win rate is just 2 to 3 times per 15 bets, they are still getting hooked on it. Winning even once triggers addiction because people are greedy in nature. There are just people who can control themselves and there are not.

This happens if you fail to set a goal when to stop, it's very important to have someone with you when gambling and this is a friend that you bring along is not a gambler, he will be the one to urge you to stop when you are having a long run of lost, you will get out of control if you are alone and do not have control.

I'm trying to find the strategy to bet less, lose less and win more -  well if these is one out there.
You can find more of these tutorials and strategy on Youtube and on the dark web, some of this comes with a fee

If you are a successful gambler what is your strategy?
Gambling is a game of luck, the best strategy you can employ is stopping when you are having a bad day and losing a lot

If you already quit gambling how did you overcome the sense and impulse to gamble again?

I have a friend who was a compulsive gambler and he overcomes it with the help of his family and friends, it's hard to overcome if you are going to do it alone

This coin is a scam, its literary printed with no PoW then given out at the discretion of the admin / CEO.  Meaning when you earn JSE on the website they are not backed by any PoW, its all fake. When you go to withdraw to actual ERC20 JSE on Ethereum blockchain (which is listed on exchange), they simply edit some numbers in a database and issue you your tokens.

Wow this is the only allegations I've read about JSECOIN so far, are all erc20 printed money, that's my opinion as long as they have a platform and they are getting supports and devs are working to promote their coin I don't see any issue at all, I don't remember them holding an ICO for you to call them scam.
2985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICO's Dead? on: May 20, 2019, 03:28:38 PM
NOPE

I say - they are ALIVE!

Yeah you hear me right!

They are ALIVE because they can no longer sleep on one ear knowing funds will come in regardless

They are ALIVE because they focus on building the technology

They are ALIVE because the market requires this

We are going through a maturing phase - the strong will survive and they will deliver.

No one will remember the ones who quit - no matter how strong they presented themselves to be

People will remember the ones who stayed and delivered.

I am part of the www.elrond.com team

Our prototype is now opensource and very soon we will deliver the first version of the testnet.

Give me a shout if you want to find our more about us Smiley

I don't care about this elrond you are promoting ICO is dying of 10 bounty campaign I've participated only 2 reach their softcap, and some ICO that I thought would deliver cannot keep up, who would have thought project like IOVO and Lbx will stop their crowdfunding because they cannot attract investors.
2986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Inform me about cryptocurrency miners. on: May 19, 2019, 10:54:18 PM
If you provide more info, we can help you better.

If you're into cloud mining, take a look at this article:
https://cryptodailynews.online/best-cryptocurrency-cloud-mining-companies/

If you're into GPU mining, check this one out:
https://bitcoinminingsoftware2019.com/windows/

I've tried two fo the cloud mining site in those list Eobot and Minergate, Eobot used to have faucets it's good for newbies to start accumulating coins and Minergate has very good software to mine the highest profitability coins, but they are not good if you compare them to trading and bounty hunting, you still need a high specs hardware to mine effectively on both sites.
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still mining burst? on: May 18, 2019, 12:51:00 PM
Is anyone still mining Burst? How cheap you need to get your storage in USD/Tb for it to be still profitable?

There's still a lot of people mining it, but not profitable anymore, maybe three years ago when mining through HDD generate a lot of interest because it is easy to mine Burst, but people are now shifting to other profitable coins to mine, like monero and other anonymous coins.
2988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: May 17, 2019, 07:52:36 AM
I used to rely on bounty hunting as my main income, but that was two years ago when so many projects are real and coins who has gone through ICO can easily get into the market and the market is attractive, now some of the coins I've promoted are shitcoins or does not have value at all and if you rely in bounty hunting you are surely going to be broke.
2989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: JSEcoin | Browser mining | ASIC resistant! *40JSE/day on RPi* on: May 17, 2019, 07:30:54 AM
Too much time has passed since the launch, the project has not gained a critical mass of support, the price of coin is very small to at least somehow influence situation around the project, except for the pump&dump scheme.
It is a pity that the project is really interesting, but it seems to me that time has not yet come.

I don't know if they had a bounty campaign in the past if they do not have one, they should launch one now, the volume is not good also
24-hour volume is only $260 USD do they have exact stats on the number of miner mining this coin, because it is so easy to mine like BANANO.
2990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Be aware of new scammer selling boost miner software! on: May 17, 2019, 07:26:57 AM
Please spread the word of this FAKE miner they offer and steal ure money!
They are so called a part of coinomi witch is totally false.

https://shop.coinomi.store/

Stay safe guys.

*In honor of bitcoin's 10-year anniversary*

Site is showing blocked in my end, I don't know about the other, but it's good that you posted it here there are many scam online stores like that, it's better to search if the site is legit and with good reviews from those who bought or use their site, to make sure that it's legit..
2991  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I'm against cloud miners. My arguments on: May 16, 2019, 12:35:05 AM
There were times, that Cloud mining is huge people are in a hurry to buy a contract and people actually made money from this until they were exposed, this is just a Ponzi scheme where the early birds are the only one making money first, and latecomers doesn't have anything left in the table.
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: USB miner for Altcoins on: May 16, 2019, 12:12:52 AM
Are there any USB Stick miners that mine altcoins?
If yes are there any that make at least a little bit profit?

Greetings!

I was thinking of buying a USB miner three years ago to mine new coins in the market with low difficulty, but after reading a lot of bad reviews and disadvantages I forget the idea and just do bounty campaign and buying coins, GPU is more competitive than USB miner forget USB there are better options.
2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BANANO Miner - Earn BANANO while Helping to Cure Cancer [CPU/GPU/Folding@home] on: May 15, 2019, 02:10:56 PM
I can't find the list of the mining pools for banano and can I get one from you? I'm interested to mine this one and let me know if you have a good recommendation for me which is best mining pool to mine banano. But sadly this one is not yet listed on CMC.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for. There are two BANANO Mining Faucets active right now, and several other faucets:

BANANO Miner: Earn BANANO while contributing to medical research, CPU&GPU, Folding@Home. See more info also above.
https://bananominer.com

BANANO Powerplant: Browser-based altcoin CPU mining paying in BANANO.
https://powerplant.banano.cc

Both are probably Mining Pools in that sense, but both "mine" something else and pay in BANANO if you want to simplify it.

Clear recommendation is to:
1) Go to https://bananominer.com
2) Register with your BANANO address (starting with ban_). If you don't have an address yet get help at https://banano.how
3) Note down your username and the teamname shown
4) Install the folding@home desktop client from https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/
5) Put in your username and the teamname
6) Get a folding@home passkey from https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/passkey/
7) Put in the passkey into your desktop client
Cool Get BANANO approximately every 12 hours

Otherwise we will be listed at CMC as soon as possible. We are on total 5 Exchanges, with one being on CMC and 4 having applied weeks ago. Unfortunately CMC takes weeks to months to evaluate projects currently.

Further discussion also here at bitcointalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134772.0

I'm glad that there will be coming 4 new exchanges, I feel like things are unfolding now like what happened to Mrai back three years ago, I'm sure history will repeat and Banano will reach $1 in the future.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining low difficulty coins on: May 12, 2019, 04:02:25 AM
I just ordered a cuple GPUs to get back into mining and wanted to do speculative altcoin mining, is there a resource that would list me new or current supported low difficulty altcoins? i tried with coinwarz but not having much luck..

i need

- coin that is currently minable
- coin that is listed on known exchanges
- coin that has very low difficulty

i dont care what its worth im willing to take a risk by mining lots of it

thanks for info

I can recommend Veil and Banano as two good coins to mine, you can mine Banano using your browser and both coins are already listed in exchanges they past the three criteria that you are looking for a coin, go check their home page it's on the two link I posted and good luck mining these two coins.

2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine in 2020? (building my first rig) on: May 12, 2019, 03:41:27 AM
Any good Gpu can mine Banano using folding@home check out this home page
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/banano
and this the page where you can mine Banano  https://bananominer.com/
Banano is a fork of Mrai or now known as Nano who knows this coin will be worth $1 or more in the future.
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Care of security and don't store your coins on exchanges! on: May 12, 2019, 03:30:44 AM
This should be the first thing all crypto holders and investors should learn, you are your own bank and knowledge is power when it comes to being a part of the cryptocurrency community, I expect everybody to know this, skip this and you will regret later.
2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pick one. Cardano or EOS on: May 12, 2019, 02:26:27 AM
What does this community think of Cardano and EOS? If you had to pick one which one would you choose?

Both are good coins to include in your portfolio, but my bet is on Eos, I have seen so many gambling sites based on Eos and they are all successful but both coins will give you profit, they are not in the top 10 for nothing.
2998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: May 11, 2019, 12:19:19 AM
Litecoin, for all I know, aspired to be the "fast cryptocurrency that big corporations like Amazon were going to start using". As of today... I feel like Litecoin is essentially dying  Angry I hold quite a good amount of LTC and really don't know what to do with it...

Thoughts?

Edit; I found this nice article that summarizes what LTC has been up to but idk how I feel about this...: https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/whats-happening-with-litecoin/

If you don't know what to do with it, then sell it and save yourself from the frustrations, litecoin is not dying wonder where you get this idea or you are looking at the wrong chart or you expect too much to soon.

Checking on the data and I just saw this now

$77.54 USD (4.95%)
0.01212568 BTC (1.22%)
2999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in knowing the real Satoshi? on: May 09, 2019, 01:50:29 PM
I'm always been interested, of course, because there is something on us that makes us want to honor, the man or group who created this technology, but I'm worried about his  security, if he has a family, they will expose to something that they are not accustomed, and it is too risky for Nakamoto.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nano vs x42 Protocol - Comparison between two Feeless Cryptocurrenices. on: May 06, 2019, 01:47:04 PM
I was looking forward to mining it because it is being compared to Nano but it's not mineable anymore

Quote
But I want to MINE x42 with my GPU!1!1!
Sorry, it is not possible. Purchase some x42 from one of the partnered exchanges and stake the coins. You will be surprised how good of a passive income proof-of-stake can be.

but Nano has fully established itself and one of the things that make Nano good is the distribution, I'm one of its captcha workers, back when it was known as MRAI.
