301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australia launches stablecoin on: January 22, 2023, 09:35:20 PM
You are right, the bank is probably acting on their own and not as the Australian Government.

For sure, otherwise we would probably see different official government articles/declarations/whatnot, and I haven't come across those in this case.
So the subject is misleading and should be changed to, an Australian Bank launches their first stablecoin. Well, if this is not a Central Bank then we should not categorize this update as a whole because probably they have their own plan when it comes to crypto adoption. We don’t need to wait for their actual announcement, it is already stated that its a largest bank in Australia and not the government itself.

Import of Rain or shine had a very bad game.

honesty, this is the first time I saw an import who are shooting very low.
https://fibalivestats.dcd.shared.geniussports.com/u/PBA/2229798/bs.html#

As you can see on the stats above, Qualls only made 3 shots of 22 attempts, that's only 13% Shooting percentage. very low.
Too bad for an import, they should play more together as a team and maybe they are still on the adjustment period. Anyway, this is just their first hame and ROS can still improve what is lack with the team. Meralco is just playing their ace game, they are more consistent and has a great plays compare to ROS, their import also perform well which ROS was not able to handle it.
As import, you should be the one to contribute a lot for the team but with that performance, I guess they are missing its purpose and they have to address that issue if ROS wants to have a better conference this time. Its too early but they have to work on that right now because every team now has improve and they become more competitive. James Yap can be a big help for ROS, but they import should work as well.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gates of olympus on: January 22, 2023, 08:58:05 PM
The most charming moment of an online game for which it is often worth playing gates of olympus the bonus game on this slot starts immediately for spins, the only chance to increase the number of free spins is the bonus. The casino privacy policy is also airtight so you can be sure that your data and money are safe. They use modern technology that not only keeps you safe but also improves your overall betting experience.
Casinos as designed for a better technology as they should ensure the security of the gambler. Most of the site have the same game provider, and playing the same game on a different site are possible because of this. Gates of olympus is fun to play at some site as they improve its graphic, but just like the other slot games this is so easy to understand as you just need to hit the button and the game will start right away.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Power outages causes huge economic loss in south Africa. on: January 21, 2023, 09:58:32 PM
A poultry farm that purely relay on the light and other things that requires an electricity without any backup plan should be the one to blame for, power outages is normal as they experience problem as well or even with the maintenance. This should not happen if they have generators or starting to invest with the solar power, though if the power outages came from the fault of the provider, I guess it can be valid but I’m sure they are valid reason for outages or else they have to pay for the damages.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH & DOT on: January 21, 2023, 09:47:33 PM
A few years ago, I sold PolkaDot at its own high point after steadily buying it.
From now on, I will continue to invest in PolkaDot and Ethereum again, what do you think about the future of these two coins?
The bull is coming so buying now can be a good idea also with DOT.
Many are preparing now for the next bull run because it can be big and no one can stop it because this is a cycle. ETH is growing and getting better as they slowly solve the issue of their network, while DOT is also making progress. I’ll hold both if possible, but I prefer to hold more ETH than to any altcoins.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 21, 2023, 09:36:35 PM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
Too boring to play if you only have one option, many gamblers prefer to have more options.
Didn’t know any site that force their players to use only their own token, this might be a problem if you get live because you are trying to hype your own token which might cost being an unstable site and not safe for the gamblers. Just like the other suggestion, better to have other option aside from your own token.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 21, 2023, 08:59:34 PM
The Governor's Cup will start on the 22nd of January. Just a few days after the Commissioner's Cup, here we are again with another season.
Here are the list of the imports of each team.
Quote
Ginebra - Justin Brownlee
BlackWater - Shawn Glover
Rain or Shine - Michael Qualls
Phoenix SuperLPG - De'Vaugn Maxwell
Meralco - KJ McDaniels
NLEX -Jonathon Simmons
Magnolia - Eric McCree
NorthPort - Marcus Weathers
SMB - Cameron Clark
TerraFirma - Jordan Williams
Converge - Ethan Rusbatch
TNT - Jalen Hudson

Some imports played already in the PBA, some are first timers and we have an import which is our "kababayan" already. We got some former NBA players as well and some played in their own countries. I will not make any prediction since no games had been played yet. Let's see how these imports will have an impact with their respective teams, and I just hope that more audiences will watch every game.
Exciting to see new imports with their respective teams especially with Jonathon Simmons as he played for several season in NBA, expectations for him to play well and carry the team is very high. Probably many will watch live this time, even if its not championship yet its good to see PBA again after a week of no schedule, they started their new conference right away, let’s see if Ginebra can still be better this time as they came from a championship.
308  Economy / Gambling / Re: wild.io 🔥 the ultimate #casino experience 🔥 on: January 21, 2023, 08:44:33 PM
The site is looking good and this thread professionally done to gave out the highlights of the site, i see important details already and it’s a web3 gambling site already. Not sure if KYC can still be asked, and I’m still looking for other details about this site. So far, it looks good especially their faster deposit and withdrawal, their bonuses and their 24/7 support, will try this site if there’s enough reviews here already.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: We are not out of the woods yet on: January 20, 2023, 09:53:27 PM
We are not at this point yet so do not get too confidence that a new all times low is no more possible, no one saw COV-19 coming in 2020 and anything can still happen between 2023- 2024.
How sure are you that the bear is not over? How sure are you that the bull run won't start soon? In crypto space anything can happen, nobody knows maybe the new all time low have being hit, am sure if newbies see your post, they might endup panicking and selling their bitcoin, even the once that are planning to hold for long term will sell and be waiting to buy at lower price which you just said. Anything is possible, bitcoin might dump more and bitcoin might start pumping, if you think Bitcoin will dump more, then sell your bitcoin and wait for it to dump before buying.
There are analysis that can support the statement of OP, and I’m sure as well that the market is still on bear market, too early to celebrate but its better to be safe than to be sorry later on. Just keep watching the price trend of Bitcoin because if it touch the support level again and breaks it, probably down trend will be the next trend and panicking will become active again so there’s no safe trend yet.
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC analysis today on: January 20, 2023, 09:43:16 PM
⚠️WARNING!!!⚠️ IF THIS HAPPENS BITCOIN WILL DUMP HORRIBLY!!!!!!✅ BTC analysis today

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1M9SC9MCHjQ
You keep on doing the same thing, sharing links about your Yt account and your analysis without even sharing any information in the OP.

Whatever it is, I’m pretty sure most of the trader here also know where the market is heading. If BTC goes down to level of $19k again and breaks it, most probably we will see the real bottom of this bear market and the worst analysis is that the price of BTC will fall into $10k level again, which many believes that it will happen if the worst support goes break.
311  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: NFT Minting Workshop – Pupunta ba kayo? on: January 20, 2023, 09:29:08 PM
Hindi siguro ako pupunta kahit na popular pa ang event organizer.  Nawala ang gana ko sa NFT at NFT minting can be found everywhere so there is no new knowledge to learn, IMO.  Gastos lang ito para sa akin but siguro sa mga gustong gumala kasama ang mga kaibigan or mameet ang mga fellow NFT lovers ay ayos itong event para sa kanila.  So i just wish their event to be successful and all participants be safe.
Yes, this can be learn even online pero siguro yung habol ng iba dito is bonding na ren and iba paren kase talaga if you know someone who can guide you and give you the right details. Malayo lang kase talaga ito, and if ever libre so why not diba. Just stay low key lang talaga if magaattend ng mga ganitong seminar para na ren sa iyong safety. Panigurado magiging masaya ang event na ito.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 20, 2023, 09:17:00 PM
Can you add another option?
Because the problem of PvP is finding your opponent which can be a problem to site if they focus on that, so better to have a PvP game option and the usual casino games to make the site more fun to play and to gamble. Some gamblers are not a gamer they didn’t want to compete on their own, they just want to place a bet and wait for the result.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Good the bad and the ugly side of airdrops on: January 20, 2023, 09:09:28 PM
I think airdrops are a thing which are not confirmed if you  participated in  airdrops so not anyone say that definitely the will receive a Airdrop its a half half system and according to my experience is that sometimes airdrops are give a huge reward but some airdrop thousands airdrops are ongoing everyday but mostly are scam airdrops.
The airdrops project is a very easy project to work on and can give us free crypto from participating in the airdrops project.
But for now expecting more from airdrops will only be in vain and a waste of time because almost all airdrops are useless. Even though there are indeed some airdrops that have value and store gold hidden in them, to be able to find airdrops like this has a 1 in 1000 chance or very hard to find.
Its no that easy nowadays as they required additional documents and to qualify for more rewards its better for you to invite more participants which makes this airdrop even harder. Anyway, there’s nothing to lose though and you can just use your fake identity as long as you provided your correct address information to receive the reward, some bounty hunters are still aiming for the airdrop hoping that they can get lucky on it.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto exchanges market affected by ICOs? on: January 19, 2023, 08:59:08 PM
How ICOs affected the market of exchanges?
Are we still not over with ICO?
I guess there’s no major effect right now because ICO is not the only option anymore and they lose a lot of developer and investors for some reason. Though ICO might have a come back if they will introduce another innovation which I doubt to happen as we move forward into another way of investing.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 19, 2023, 08:49:14 PM
Over the time, I've seen people wanting to go into trading because they feel or think is a get rich quick scheme but get so disappointed along the process because the result they get isn't what was expected.
Trading is a very lucrative business but also a very risky business as well and as such should be done with so much caution.
What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?
My advice is that, don’t be afraid about the risk just learn the process and improve your knowledge because that is your only weapon against the market and without that, you can’t expect to make profit.

Trading is a good job, consider it like that and take it seriously. Newbies should also not rely to any signal group because its not safe so learn on your own and trade on your own. Trading can only be profitable if you become more responsible with your decisions.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Shocks the World on: January 18, 2023, 09:58:22 PM
Ethereum Shocks the World: Half a Million Validators and Rising, Is Ethereum the Next Crypto King Or BTC?

tell me if it's a stupid question
No, but ETH will remain the top altcoins.
Their purpose is to complement what is not with Bitcoin and not to replace it. ETH will grow bigger, there are still good update that will come and probably that can affect ETH for good. We should be able to see it now and start preparing for it, I suggest to have some ETH on your wallet.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Online Gaming Competition for Gamblers on: January 16, 2023, 09:57:19 PM
Your kind of game many have little or no much attention for a patronage since it's bot the kind gamblers always seek to play, i will advise that why not turn it into a casino gambling games to make it attractive and get yourself on the needful required for the perfect establishment of the gaming offer you want to present to gamblers together with it benefits as stated by you, so why not create one and got it promoted for you here and stand assured and build reputation from there because people were even afraid of visiting any unsolicited website.
A more established game and guidelines on playing the game can be more attractive, there’s a room for this kind of gambling game unfortunately it will take a lot of time before you can attract gamblers to try the platform so I also suggest to spend your time building that site to be more better and more attractive, gamers wants to be entertain and have some fun making profit as well.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It good For The Casinos And The Accusers If .. on: January 16, 2023, 09:40:57 PM
Is It Good For The Casinos And The Accusers If the casino operators decided to post a disclaimer that they will not answer accusations here in Bitcointalk but prefer to address them on other platforms that they think are fair and moderated like Askgambler and other platforms?
What's your take on this I don't want to be specific but the question applies to all casino operators.
This is actually the first time I heard this kind of thing since most of the casinos now and new casinos tend to have an announcement thread here or sometimes they  ask people here in this forum. So I think this forum is more reliable than other website. People in here are not bias we all know that, and reputation and integrity for casino website is important in here.
There should be no issue if they are not here in the forum but to save their reputation, its better to make a statement in the public to address the issue and to assure the public about their fairness and how they handle this kind of accusation and problem. Its ok not to post it here, but don’t expect forum users to trust that site that much, I don’t trust this kind of site honestly.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair games are not fair on: January 16, 2023, 09:29:14 PM
I think you don't fully understand what provably fair means, and especially what it doesn't mean. Provably fair doesn't mean you won't lose money in the long run, it doesn't mean the house edge equals 0% or the RTP is 100%. In other words it doesn't mean the expected value is not negative. It just mean you can check the outcome and see if the casino has cheated you or not. So you shouldn't expect to not lose money by playing to these games, you will lose the same amount of money in the long run as a similar live game or a similar non provably fair game not rigged.
Of course, there will always be inevitable losses even in provable fair games. Because once you gamble, expect that you will gain more losses than wins, that’s the reality. However, when it comes to provable fair games, that means that the casino whether offline or online, is not allowed to cheat on its players because those games show transparency and reliability. If you think they are suspicious, you can actually question them and verify the outcome of the game.
Probably fair games doesn’t mean you’ll always win, luck should still be on your side and expect losses as well. If there’s something wrong with the site, fairness can be computed but I doubt a simple gambler will do this thing. Live casinos are the same, you can’t expect more winnings on that though the chance of making profit is quiet high especially if you fully understand the game. This is gambling, it is still better to play on a fair site and have fun.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 16, 2023, 09:11:37 PM
Is Brownlee is still eligible to play? He is now a Filipino, so he can play as a Filipino and if Ginebra will get an import, I think this team will become a champion easily. Do we have an information regarding this? please share so we will be aware.
Yes, that actually is. He's now a Filipino citizen and no longer an import and I think that Ginebra will take care of him otherwise, other teams will take care of him. Also, AFAIK, he's now added to the Gilas pool.
I can’t see Brownlee playing with the other team but to make this more healthy probably it will happen in the future or Ginebra will have another good import to play with Brownlee, if this will be the case then Ginebra can easily be a champion again. PBA should know how to balance the teams and not to approve all the proposed trade because imagine if all those sister companies will get top players there will no more competition.
