301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2024, 02:05:51 AM
It is clear to me that Ronaldo is doing his best to be in shape enough to actually matter next world cup as well. Not that he may start the games, but even if he could become a bench player, he would love to go to at least another one. He is already 39 years old, and we have 2 more years, so he could be about 41 years old when the cup is being played, and I feel like it could actually be possible.

Portugal has better players than Ronaldo now, not in general, like not in career level but at the current moment and they will have better players than a 41 year old Ronaldo for sure. But the question we need to ask, do they have 25 of them? Sure a few, but 25 players better than Ronaldo? I do not think so, he could still play.

Yes!
I also think it is very likely and entirely possible that Cristiano Ronaldo will participate in the next World Cup as a player, after all there is only two years left and currently he continues to play "a lot of football".

In fact, not only him, but I see that two world football stars, already in the final stage of their careers, have been called up to defend their countries again on the next FIFA date: In addition to Cristiano Ronaldo, now 38 years old, there is also the Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 41 years old currently.

Even with their advanced age, they remain part of the plans of their respective teams, who face their first games in the Euro 2024 qualifiers in March. It will be a good test to see how their physical performances are and how difficult they will make it for the opponents.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 21, 2024, 01:59:57 AM
Well, I think we have a consensus then that Mbappé will play for Real Madrid, right!?

The question now is: What will your shirt number be? Cool

Since the beginning of the season, Vini Jr. started wearing the emblematic number 7 shirt at Real Madrid and I believe that perhaps he wants that same number that he already wore at PSG, what do you think?

But, in order not to create a fight with Vini, Mbappé could also choose number 9 or 10.... The number 7 has great weight as it was worn by Raúl and Cristiano Ronaldo while the number 9 shirt has been free since Benzema's departure. However, Endrick also arrives at Real Madrid in the middle of 2024 and can claim the number. Number 10, currently used by Modric, could be free from the end of the season.

My "bet" is still number 7.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 21, 2024, 01:51:06 AM
From my little activeness over here in the forum and my involvement in gambling I have been seeing some changes in me and it's gradually beginning not to please me anymore I don't know If I will say I am becoming too emotional with my funds but sometimes it's very painful to place a bet for about 2 to 5 consecutive times no winning and this is what is beginning to me make feels sad. I know is a game of luck but sometimes whatever we do and not feels happy we should try to quit it.

I just have to bring this to know the category of people who belong to this sets that always feels bad or are emotionally touched due to their games has been constantly bursting without winning. I don't know how to channel it but at least gambler should be happy most times i will noticed that only 1 games do take me away from winning and most times there will be option to cash out I will have the full confident that all will be successfully played without knowing games change even at dying minutes.

One of the most important premises in gambling is fun, so if that is no longer satisfying you need to change something.
Often the necessary change is not even to stop playing, but rather to change gaming habits, finding a different type of betting, whether in another sport or in another type of betting.
It could also be that the unhappiness you feel is only due to the financial loss, in which case just a reduction in the amount bet can make you more comfortable if you are also aware that the likely winnings will also decrease.

If nothing helps, then take a break from gambling, try to occupy yourself with something else and return (or not) in a few months.

I wish you good luck and that you can find a way to solve this "problem".

https://tecnoblog.net/responde/como-usar-a-pasta-segura-de-um-celular-samsung/

305  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Zuzalu, a nação independente fundada por Vitalik on: February 18, 2024, 07:39:50 PM

306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2024, 07:32:57 PM
There are two important subjects of the upcoming transfer window. One is, which team will Mbappe go to?

I don't believe people still have any doubts about where Mbappé will go in the next transfer window.
I know that the lack of a signed contract is a reason to create a lot of rumors, especially because we've already seen a lot of "surprises" happening in the world of football, but I ask honestly: Do you really have any doubts that Mbappé won't play for Real Madrid next season!?

There was a lot of talk (or a lot of rumors created) about him going to Liverpool, but not even the players there seem to be excited about this possibility, in other words... those who are into football know that Mbappé only has one path to follow.
All that's missing is the signing of a contract and definition of values (if that hasn't happened yet and is confidential), I believe they are leaving the "surprise" until the last minutes.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 07:25:23 PM
We have all noticed the changes that have occurred in gambling over the past years, as gambling in 1990 or before is not the same as it is today due to several factors, including:
-Ease of playing and more casinos.
-Inventing new tools and methods of playing.
-Online gambling and the emergence of easy-to-use applications that support all games.
-The method of advertising has changed, becoming more effective and attracting more players.
-The presence of liquidity due to the increase in the amounts that players bet.
-Provides more profit opportunities..

In your opinion, what are the factors that brought  change in the field of gambling? What is your outlook on it in the future?

Wow, this topic reminded me of something simply HISTORIC!
Do you remember what the first online casino was? I do!
They are not that old and so I am far from being one of the players who opened it, but I have read magnificent stories about this revolution that was launched in 1996: InterCasino

And you can't talk about betting without mentioning poker... a classic of all casinos became a sensation on several websites in the 2000s and I played a lot. you too!?

Sports games have changed a lot and will continue to change, in fact I believed that virtual reality would be the next step, but unfortunately it didn't pan out.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can a betting shop be so dubious like this on: February 18, 2024, 07:18:12 PM
I'm not getting why people are blaming the gambler in this situation. He is the victim here, since the betting agents have been lying to him regards paying him the prize on the next day. Indeed, he shouldn't have accepted this excuse from them, but it seems the gambler was just a naive person who took the agents' word as legit. Are people already being considered guilty nowadays just for being too naive and innocent when getting along with thieves without knowing their true evil nature?

With so many online reputable casinos accepting customers from many different countries around the world, that should be the first alternative to come in mind when choosing where to place bets, instead of going for the local casinos and relying on middlemen services to bet. By living in a corrupt country, I try to avoid local services as much as possible, because I know the chances of being scammed is high. Maybe if that gambler followed the same logic, he could have avoided this whole problem, receiving his prize without delays directly to his personal account.

I believe it's because we live in a world where there are scams everywhere.
Anywhere we go there will always be someone wanting to illegally take advantage of people, scams have unfortunately become common and that's why we tend to "blame" people who end up falling for these scams even today.

However, these scams only exist because they still work, and why do they work?
Because there are people who believe in good, who believe that there are suitable people and that is why they end up trusting the wrong people.

Scams like these make me increasingly advocate the legalization of betting games, because in a country where they are properly legalized and supervised, these types of scams have less space to occur.
Estava pensando a respeito disso...

311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2024 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: February 17, 2024, 01:11:45 AM
But an important detail: the prize money in the São Paulo championship is so good, you won't believe it:
The big 4 (Corinthians, São Paulo, Palmeiras and Santos) will receive 40 million reais each in TV rights.
While the smaller teams will receive 8 million reais

I just read that these "absurd" values only tend to increase, as the members of "Libra" which is mainly made up of nine clubs from Series A (Flamengo, Corinthians, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Bahia, Vitória, Atlético-MG, Grêmio and Red Bull Bragantino), is already negotiating TV rights for next year's Brasileirão and the amount involved in this negotiation is billions.
To give you an idea, "TV Globo" has already offered R$ 1.3 billion (Brazilian value) but the association refused it Tongue

Furthermore, there is also sponsorship from companies that certainly also pay a lot of money to appear on the shirts of the main football teams.

I keep thinking that the main objective of these clubs is not to win the championship, but to gain from advertising.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: February 17, 2024, 01:03:13 AM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts gambling predictions?

It depends!
When we talk about sports games, a detailed analysis of the teams and the championship can be crucial to winning a bet, so I believe I could be convinced if the "expert player" actually had good arguments.

However, no bet is 100% guaranteed... even in games where the probability of winning is extremely high, some unforeseen event or "chance of bad luck" may occur that changes the entire previously studied scenario. So, it's always good to weigh the probability of winning against the possibility of losing everything.

However, if you are talking about non-sports games that are based solely on luck and "foolproof strategies", then my answer is NO! I would never put my money in the hands of someone like that.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: February 17, 2024, 12:58:04 AM
There are lots of situations in gambling where our patience will be tested. If we allow ourselves to fall on a quick decision, it will cost us a huge loss. On the other hand, if slowly but surely, it will be a smooth way and we can manage it.

But don't blame yourself for that mistake. It's a test. It's part of the experience. At least next time, we should know what to do.

I don't know if they've already said it, but there are some tips that may seem "ridiculous" but that actually help people stay calm and think better before playing.

The first one everyone must have heard of... Take a deep breath, as this is an excellent tip for calming down if you are nervous or agitated. Inhaling and exhaling deeply will reduce your heart rate to a healthy level and this way you can concentrate more on the game.

You may also want to create a pre-game routine that works well for you. Some people create a mantra to recite before the match starts. You can pray or listen to music, for example, do a simple but calm activity.

And if things aren't going right at the moment, why not take a break? Meanwhile you can also go for a walk to relax. Any light exercise can calm you down and make you feel more energetic. So, if your anxiety is uncontrollable, take a quick walk around your neighborhood without thinking about the game. You will certainly be better prepared to start again after that as light exercise releases endorphins that reduce nervousness.
314  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto = Hal Finney? on: February 16, 2024, 12:27:01 AM

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 16, 2024, 12:18:56 AM
Graham Potter is expected to be West Ham's next manager according to rumours. West Ham aren't having a really good season. Their loss against Arsenal was also an enormous and embarrassing one.

In fact, David Moyes' position became "untenable" after the defeat that West Ham suffered against Arsenal.

Regarding Graham Potter, I also believe this after reading that a very reliable source, the Telegraph, mentioned that he is the main candidate to succeed David Moyes at West Ham if the 60-year-old manager steps down at the end of the season. .and I sincerely believe that this could happen much sooner.
After a great job at Brighton, Graham Potter has currently been without a club since April last year when he left Chelsea, so it is very likely that he will return to the Premier League via West Ham, I just hope they don't wait too long.

I honestly don't understand what is happening with the Hammers who still haven't won anything in 2024, David Moyes is going into his sixth season at West Ham, he has won many of the games played so far and even led the team to win the Conference League last season , but they are currently unable to organize West Ham to at least perform reasonably well.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 16, 2024, 12:11:20 AM
Being addicted to gambling can be a thorn in the flesh. We have heard many bad behavior from gambling addicts that shows that gambling is a serious concern requiring serious efforts at curbing it. Many casinos also include in their disclaimer "gamble responsibly" and this shows the danger of gambling addiction.

However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.

Yes, especially when the addicted person is a teenager who generally depends on parental resources to keep playing games.
When there is no control over what is spent, generally the monthly allowance will not be enough to support the addiction and as a consequence the person will steal from their parents or even try to sell family belongings to get more money and this will certainly create a very tense within the family.

I've also read reports of husband and wife fighting over gambling, in which the man spent all her savings and still used her credit card, after a fight the woman was stabbed.

Gambling addiction can be as dangerous as alcohol or another illicit drug when it is out of control in a person's mind, so it needs to be treated so that it does not reach the point of becoming a threat to another person's integrity.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 16, 2024, 12:05:32 AM
Hey Gamblers
So I am thinking of this.  What is the most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? Below are some key issues I've noted:

I think the problems should be divided between two main criteria:
  • What is more serious;
  • What is most frequent and causes the most disruption in everyday life.

For me, the most serious thing is the rejection when trying to make a withdrawal, either because the player was unduly accused of fraud or because he is unable to pass the KYC process despite having sent all the documents requested.

However, the most frequent occurrence is actually the unavailability of the site or a specific game... although it is not something serious, this tends to be common on some sites, especially when demand is high and this greatly affects the experience and gameplay of users.
318  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Airdrop Starknet - Você está elegível? on: February 15, 2024, 11:45:36 PM

Cool

Quote
This market will immediately resolve to “Yes” if any Coinbase 1 minute candle for bitcoin BTC-USD between 1 Feb '24 00:00 and 29 Feb '24 23:59 in the ET timezone has a final “High” price of 50,000.00 or higher. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

320  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: CAMPANHAS DE ASSINATURAS ATUALIZADAS on: February 14, 2024, 10:49:09 PM
