301  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 28, 2018, 10:44:14 PM
I think advcash has a much greater business than just debit cards. It's a kind of paypal (i didn't know them if not for the card anyway). They will not be much affected by this shutdown I think. For example xapo and wirex will, instead.

read their announcement today.

the dont even accept bankdeposits/withdrawals anymore from today.

looks like a coincidence of bad situations. don't think has something to do with wavecrest issue.
302  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Monaco the best card actually? on: January 28, 2018, 10:38:57 PM
Monaco card is free, with cashback and airport lounges included (in some of them).

Is there another one with these or similar features??

SCAM ALERT
Jan 25, 2018
Hassaan Abdeen
Without explanation you’re obligated once you start the App to provide your ID, selfie picture tracing your eye movements and contacts. Afterwards, you find the card has minimum useable due to high limitations in withdrawal and use. And guess what? You need to buy their Monaco Coins and hold it for six months in order to get the Visa Cards.

Any Cryptocurrency trader with half a brain would see through such scam.

I registred in mistertango 2 days ago, to order the card i had to follow the same steps with selfie etc. but i don't call it scam.
if you want a card you have to provide documents, face it.

304  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: January 28, 2018, 05:07:55 PM
a good card, with nice site and app. But with ridicolous exchange rates.
305  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 28, 2018, 04:44:10 PM
old news, no update.
306  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 26, 2018, 09:55:18 PM
Just to share my experience with Mistertango.
I use it for couple of days now and the card is working fine, it's accepted everywhere so I'm happy with that.
Still I'm not happy at all with Bitcoin exchange rate. Currently the price at Bitstamp is around 11000$ and Mistertango is exchanging at lower than 9000$. This is not fair.
That is the reason that Xapo was much better and you didn't have to exchange your coins immediately, especialy not at such unfavourable rate.
So I hope that Xapo will be able to provide Bitcoin cards with new provider very soon.

probably is better to exchange bitcoins on another exchange (kraken? Bitstamp?) and then recharge the card with a wire transfer?
307  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia command line interface? on: January 26, 2018, 08:51:30 AM
Thanks for the suggestion,

I had already found that framework,

unfortunately I don't master PHP and was hoping to find a more "plug and play" solution...
308  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptopia command line interface? on: January 25, 2018, 06:55:47 PM
Anyone out there can suggest me a tool to trade with command line commands on Cryptopia, through API?

I've found something for bittrex, but nothing for Cryptopia.

thanks to all will help me
309  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 25, 2018, 04:13:40 PM
question is clueless you cannot fund the card anymore so you can also load 24K gold but it's useless
310  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poll: Do you think a new plastic card issuer will be found after wavecrest off? on: January 25, 2018, 11:23:40 AM
They all are declaring this, they are companies with employees, and I think they say that because they have to.

I don't think employees of those companies are so happy in this moment.

funny thing: I've opened a couple of tickets to wirex when it still worked, and the replies came from beautiful girls (i googled those names)

I still don't believe a new issuer will be foud so easily. I hope to be wrong, really.
311  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC is a Joke! Next level of scamming! on: January 25, 2018, 11:12:55 AM
I am waiting a TRX deposit (with 600+ TRX deposit fee...) since 6 days ago.
many many users are waiting for TRX deposits.
312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 25, 2018, 11:01:21 AM
Yes, I'll definetly try with a small amount, thanks

For the 3 days, I really hoped it was faster. If it's so slow, probably best option is SEPA with coinbase or similar
313  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 25, 2018, 09:21:00 AM
Ok but how do I know if my regular credit cards (I have 2 visa and a mastercard, SEPA zone) can accept these kinds of payments?

I've read around that a credit card can accept money in the form of a "bonus" in the plafond for that month. You can spend it or alto ATM withdraw /but usually credit card ATM fees are high)

what fees are in cex.io?
314  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC is a Joke! Next level of scamming! on: January 24, 2018, 09:20:20 PM
There are no fees to deposit as their support page shows and If that was the case, they should've stated it before you deposit clearly. It's possible that your coins went missing due to a technical issue.

today I wanted to deposit some CND coins, but then I have seen the DEPOSIT FEE was 511 CND that's worth $143

I think they want to close their business very fast.
315  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 24, 2018, 04:50:10 PM
I guess there are always BTC to Paypal options but fees with that method re obnoxious.

Cex.io also allows withdrawal to credit card but with some verification.

dunno how sending money to credit card works, and if my normal credit cards support it, or if ANY credit card can accept money
316  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A working cryto debit card? on: January 24, 2018, 02:05:35 PM
Cant believe such a HUGE market s being uncovered for such a long time. What a market niche this is.

Because there are no others. There are no plan B. I dont know why every one of them states that.
Even if there were, this plan would already be screwed over by VISA, since its against their policies with the deal between MC/VISA.

All this shit started 3-4 years ago, when NETELLER and Skrill was starting to support crypto.

People started using it to withdraw for a month or two
Then Skrill/Neteller informed everyone that you could only use deposited crypto to send to other stores, and not withdraw from cards (that was easy to bypass though)

But why did skrill and neteller make this rule? Obviously their Net+ mastercard was informed to stop supporting crypto. Nothing else. So when people say this is not an attack on crypto, i dont know what else it is? The let skrill/neteller keep their cards.
After 3-6 months, they shut down the possibility to deposit BTC again. Someone has told them to do this. This someone was probably VISA, who already then threatned them.

And you all know what the rest of the story... First VISA shut down everything... Then mastercard was restricted to only SEPA......then short time after, shut down worldwide.

Someone out there does not like Mastercard or VISA to support crypto. Someone with alot power.

this.

did not know neteller skrill story, but I agree 100% with you, sadly.
I am very angry because this war started just as soon as I entered the market. i did not use my bank ATM in the last month thanks to bitcoins. And now it's all over, if I want some btc converted, I'll have to use Coinbase and my bank again, with all slowness and risks involved. Or I'll have to ask to my favourite strip clubs if they accept bitcoins, don't think so.

for all other please express your vote in my poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2812087.0
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Deposit fees Why High in Hitbtc? on: January 24, 2018, 01:54:18 PM
to deposit CND coin, simething like $140. That's insane!
318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: January 24, 2018, 01:37:36 PM
Wanted to deposit some CND coins.
I've seen DEPOSIT fee it's 500+ coins.
after a bit of calculations, it's something like $140 to deposit.
THAT'S RIDICOLOUS!!!

How can this be acceptable? this exchange will die soon.
319  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 24, 2018, 01:34:51 PM
I think they really did not know
320  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: January 24, 2018, 11:29:21 AM
You guys seem to have missed this:

"All plastic and virtual cards will be reissued for free after we implement the card platform from our new provider which is about to happen soon."

Let's wait then, and see, I'll write to the support today about this and see what they reply (which provider? Estimate date?).
For now, we have time to withdraw and find a back up solution in case we need one.

In fact, I think all people saying it's "a disaster" have not understood that the failure point is most probably Wavescrest, as it happend before with Visa cards all around. I think they will shortly find a replacement processor.

instead, you are not considering that, if there was ONLY one issuer, a single point of failure in the entire world, probably there was a reason.
Do you really believe that as of a sudden, another provider will be found, and no one in the entire world has been able to find one in the last months?
Consider that visa cards gad been shut down for no-sepa in august. And nothing has been done since then.

anyway if you like espress your vote in my poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2812087.0  thanks
