301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo's next club betting on: July 06, 2018, 05:35:14 PM
^  But in case you haven't heard Real Madrid are interested on acquiring Mbappe for 200m GBP or some ridiculous figure close to that.  PSG could propose Ronaldo plus cash...

I think Neymar also wants to go and could go.

Florentino is a joke. How can he let Cristiano Ronaldo go for only 100m EUR? meanwhile other players are going for way higher amounts, and some near this amount and we are talking about players several categories below Ronaldo. This is total nonsense. Some say that he is becoming too old, this is ridiculous because Ronaldo is in great shape and performs like someone in his 20's. Florentino will regret this decision when they see Ronaldo playing in the next team and outperforming their new players (specially if Neymar goes to Real for an higher amount of money)

Wow, terrible mistake by Fernando Muslera, pretty shocking how the ball bounced off his hands and entered the goal, I recommend seeing the replay. Reminds me of De Gea's mistake.

Now my personal final bet is that Brasil and France will be on the finals, I think Brasil will win today against Belgium, but who knows maybe it's a 100% Euro finals.

However, i dislike the fact that the referee has to move to verify himself every fault, this is killing the game, normally the dedicated referee should see the video and take the decision everytime it is required (or not).
The referee on the pitch is the only one will full power and authority to impose sanctions, it'll be odd to give that power to the assistant refs (VAR) since they can only advise the ref to review: something he couldn't see (a clear pen or an aggresion, for example) or a mistake he made in the original call.

The VAR system is pretty random sometimes. Spain was robbed of a clear penalty at the end of the match that would have given them a win, and even after VAR, he said that it wasn't a penalty. I don't get it. Anyone that can see the video footage again + VAR it will see it was a clear one. Maybe they don't want to leave Russia out because Putin is watching?

Anyway, Russia is lasting too much, this is getting strange. I will play very close attention to the Uruguay match. Uruguay should smash Russia, they are superior. Unless they underperform big time like Spain, it should be a 3-0 for Uruguay, maybe 2-0 if Russia is once again being insanely annoying with the defense.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: July 05, 2018, 05:07:09 PM
An interesting exercise is to use this website to try to draw a curve all the way up to the $10,000,000 goal price by 2028:

https://bircoin.top/

Use the options in there below and put the starting price of today and until december 31 of 2028 as the last valid day and the algorithmic curve looks nice, it's not too far from the curve of McAfee's $1,000,000 by 2020 prediction.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen in august ? on: July 05, 2018, 04:46:05 PM
Tripple bottom scenario still at play, don't lose hope, maybe we already saw the bottom and we are past the despair phase, which would have been anything below $5000 for that matter.

Personally im going to hold it all, and I will treat anything below $5000 as a gift from the bitcoin gods, meaning that I will buy as much as I can.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Faith in the future on: July 04, 2018, 04:23:16 PM
Im a bitcoin believer but its not stopping me from thinking how long btc will be at this rate
is there anyone manipulating this, who are these people, i believe that they are the rich ones
trying to get lots of it, then pump non stop
thats what i guess ,
please share you thoughts on this lets communicate for bitcoin sake

I am not sure whether someone is manipulating the price. However, this is not the first time bitcoin price dropped down drastically. There was huge price drop from November 2013 to January 2015. Price dropped by 80%+. Therefore this price crash is not a new thing. I hope it will get corrected.

Actually the MTGox crash went as low as 85%, and now we are going lower at a faster rate, so we may be bottom way earlier than the post-MTGox disaster bear market. It's been already 7 months, time flies. We may be seeing the bottom soon and these waiting for lower lows may be wrong, unless we spend another bunch of months slowly bleeding towards $3000-ish or even lower which would suck. If I had no coins I wouldn't risk it, buy now, if it goes up you already are in, if it goes lower, buy more. Long term you win as well and with a bigger amount of coins.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $250,000 in 2022? on: July 04, 2018, 04:14:24 PM
What's been quoted is very big. In reality if such a value is attained within the year 2022 even the user who has got a single bitcoin will be a millionaire. From my experience the growth will continue to take place in a sustained manner. The halving by the year 2020 too adds support to the growth of bitcoin and other digital currencies.

There are not enough millionaires on earth if each millionaire wanted to own 1 BTC. When you realize this it's obvious 1 BTC will reach $250k and more. It's just a function of price when the supply is limited and constantly shrinking, and demand growing. $100k is coming sooner than most think.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $250,000 in 2022? on: July 03, 2018, 04:54:21 PM
would you believe in this statement?

I think it is a very exaggerated forecast and have no chance of one day reaching this forecast

Can it really rise again on 2022?

the price may go up a lot in 2020, but it will not go up as much as the forecast of $250,000. that is a very high value even, have no chance of reaching that value

There's in no way a crazy valuation by 2020. We are falling again in the same trap as we did when we were in $3000 range in august 2017. "There's no way we will be at $10,000 by Christmas, too soon". Then we hit $20,000. This is how bitcoin worst, it makes you realize that you are thinking in linear terms, and underestimating the exponential growth cycles. The human mind will always fall victim of that. Im not saying it will happen, but it would be a big mistake to claim it's impossible. At the end of the day bitcoin is still tiny, not that much capital is needed to hit 6 figures rather soon.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of increasing # of unretrievable bitcoin on: July 03, 2018, 04:45:25 PM
It's a mixture of the total supply, available supply, actual circulating coins, demand... everything matters.

The amount of bitcoins in actual circulation seems to be tiny. This shows the #1 use for bitcoin is to hold it basically. There's no economic activity or much of it in bitcoin... no one wants to spend money that goes up in value. Maybe when it replaces fiat currencies and a single BTC is worth a massive fortune, we will have viable economic activity because the price will be stabilized and it will be worth moving coins around in exchange of goods and services more often.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500,000 Bitcoins will be sold on: July 03, 2018, 04:30:27 PM
You have to post proof when you are making such a big claim. 500.000 BTC is a lot of money and it looks like you are making things up in your head. I doubt people in here is saying "im going to sell specifically X amount of BTC" and you have done an study to sum all of these potential sales into a big round "500.000 BTC" number. Sounds pretty dumb actually, that's why your threads my be removed as baseless FUD. At least post it in speculation where it belongs, otherwise you come across as yet another kwukduck.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish trend commence! on: July 02, 2018, 06:38:13 PM
Just a little breath before a deeper dive, sad but true

You can't know, we can't know, we can only keep accumulating on the dips, so I hope it actually dips, but no one can guarantee that the bottom that sub $6000 we saw, maybe we start going up as people FOMO and so does institutional money. Its not a coincidence ot me that the latest bullish moves came after the CME closed futures. We may b e headed to a $10k test and then we can re-evaluate from there if holds the price above that key range or not.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Our hidden enemies, hiding in plain sight. on: July 02, 2018, 06:23:20 PM
I always found that "all seeing eye" pyramid very creepy in the dollar signs. Too many signs of dubious origins. It really feels cult-ish and creepy. Then again, bitcoin comes across as cultish and creepy itself too to a lot of people. In fact some people say that it was created by the rothchilds and the rothchilds are satoshi so they would continue being the richest group on earth. I think this is just a conspiracy theory tho.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legal guns to protect from government = bitcoin to protect from banks? on: July 02, 2018, 06:05:15 PM
It's a good analogy. You can make a good use of guns to protect yourself or you can make a bad use of guns to attack others for stupid reasons. Same goes with Bitcoin, you can use to protect against scammers trying to steal your hard earned wealth or you can use it to damage others. Always make a good use of Bitcoin and of your weapons and you'll be ok.

Of course government may not find the analogy correct if it's on their interest. I think the only reason US allows weapons is due big deals with rifle association not because they care about their citizens defending their homes.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go under FBI investgation on: July 02, 2018, 12:50:17 PM
The 130 cases are probably about deep web activities or about some big fishes irl. Nothing bad about this. If they do it with fiat what could be wrong to make it with digital currencies as well. We are safe from getting monitored by the FBI as an average Joe.
I can see that privacy-centric cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin mixers have a bright future Cheesy

It begins with "130 fringe deep web cases" and it ends up in efforts to control every transaction. Remember that Jeff Garzik is working in bloq, a technology to try to monitor the blockchain and track everything.

Localbitcoins is already not safe to use. You can have bad luck and be trying to get 100 bucks in cash and you end up arrested by some cop. The bastards want to put everyone in jail, even us poor people trying to save up some money and get some extra money in cash to meet monthly expenses. It is a lottery. I am too paranoid to move Bitcoin at this point out of the crypto system, they can label you a criminal if they want even if you are innocent.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go under FBI investgation on: July 01, 2018, 06:52:57 PM
Every single Bitcoin user gets their own FBI agent assigned to them. Mine was my best man at my civil partnership recently.

My hands are actually fitted with a type of overglove on top of his hands which means he can override every single thing I type and do. I also have to allow him to fit into the same suit and pyjamas as myself.

You're telling me you don't have one, OP? You must be some serious deadbeat not to warrant one.

Funny. Of course it is insane for authorities to pretend to track every single bitcoin transaction , let alone every single transaction in any other cryptos, it's simply impossible, but thinking that the FBI is not actively and daily trying to track down bitcoin users it's naive.

Using Localbitcoins is a lottery in which you may or not may be dealing with an FBI getting paid to ruin your life while you try to get a couple hundred bucks worth of cash to pay bills.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go under FBI investgation on: July 01, 2018, 06:41:10 PM
Bitcoin went from $1 to $10,000 in 9 years. Never been heard of.. and Bitcoin got $350,000,000,000.  Roll Eyes

HYIP cartel is most likely using Bitcoin for their 200% profit per month HYIP programs/ponzis.

Will FBI investigation come to Bitcoin ??

The FBI has been investigating Bitcoin transactions for years now. In fact I recently saw news about this again:

https://www.coindesk.com/fbi-agent-confirms-130-crypto-related-investigations/

Quote
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is currently running 130 different cryptocurrency-related investigations, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

FBI Supervisory Special Agent Kyle Armstrong told the Crypto Evolved conference in New York that the agency is investigating a variety of crimes, including human trafficking, drug transactions, kidnapping and ransomware, which have a cryptocurrency component, according to Bloomberg.

Further, there has recently been an uptick in cases involving cryptocurrencies, he said, citing opioids as one area where the bureau needs to focus on. Roughly 10 percent of drug users worldwide purchase drugs online in illegal digital marketplaces.

Some parts of the U.S. have also seen an increase in extortion schemes, where the perpetrators wish to use cryptocurrencies.

That being said, these "threat-tagged" investigations only make up a "small sliver" of the thousands of  cases the agency has, he said.

And unlike crimes involving cash, Armstrong said the blockchain's immutability makes it easier to track transactions. On the flip side, cryptocurrencies' anonymity or pseudonymity make it more difficult to properly investigate a crime.

Avoiding ending up in trouble is really easy: Just don't buy anything illegal. The problem is if you are sending Bitcoin to someone that is a criminal and you don't know it, or somehow received "tainted" coins etc.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 01, 2018, 06:10:30 PM
Cristiano Ronaldo refused to talk about his future after his country's exit from the World Cup final against Uruguay on Saturday.
Ronaldo broke his silence about his football future but replied vaguely: "This is not the time to talk about my future."

There are many conversations about Ronaldo's survival with Real Madrid or even his retirement from international football after he reached the age of 33 years.

Ronaldo said he was proud of the team he plays for the Portuguese side, saying the team was not worthy of defeat and exclusion from the World Cup.

Uruguay beat Portugal 2-1 in the final of the World Cup to leave the captain of Portugal and his country the tournament, which scored four goals.

Ronaldo said it was those who scored more goals who win ahead of Uruguay

I cant't believe Florentino said that he may let Cristiano go for $120 million, absolutely cheap, we are talking about a world class 5 golden ball player that even if he is starting to become old in football teams, doesn't apply to him because he is still in top shape. This clown is going to let Ronaldo go and pay a bunch of money for Neymar which is insanely overrated, unbelievable.

HT Spain 1 - 1 Russia

That first half was awful. Russia jusr parking the bus with a very clear gameplan: "long ball Dzyuba and see what happens", great tactics. Then you have Spain with the ball possession at almost 80% but they are unable to get past the Russian defensive wall so it's just boring watching them pass the ball all the time. And finally, the goals, an own goal (an amazing backheel goal, tbh), and a penalty. Hopefully, the 2nd half can deliver some exciting stuff.

The problem with Spain is that their game is built around having a killer player (Messi or Ronaldo) because all of their teams come from Barca or Real, and this year they didn't have this killer scoring machine. Isco is good but not enough for that. Someone like David Villa or Torres in his prime years is what they are lacking. Costa is a good 9 but I think not as fast and explosive.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 01, 2018, 05:54:47 PM
Russia was the inferior team clearly, by a long shoot. They just were stuck in the defense lines with 11 men there camping all the time, but Spain wasn't too bright this time, they didn't know how to react to a team that is doing nothing, and unfortunately for them luck wasn't on their side, because it's been just luck. If Pique didn't put his hand there in a stupid way, the match would have ended 1-0 and Spain would be on quarter finals.

This is a very strange World Cup, all the big names are already our except brazil france and england.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 30, 2018, 07:40:55 PM
Only 10 minutes to go, plus the extra added minutes at the end and that's it. Portugal still can make it, they are pushing hard now compared to the first half. I want to see Ronaldo continue in the world cump, with Messi and Ronaldo out so early it will not be the same.

I think (hope) they are going to score and we will go to penalties.
