You can ask any price you like on eBay does not make it gospel problem is I can't find any previous auction sale figures for this magazine so there are no comparable sales for guidance, at least by searching online. No one is talking about private sales and how much the issue sold for.

FWIW this hardcover Premium Revised Edition seems to becoming rare. No longer for sale direct from Mr. Ahonen: he is only selling the standard revised. You want the better pictures in the Premium edition. Good luck with the auction!

Yes I have the same blank page on my 2016 Premium revised edition. In the standard 2016 revised edition that blank page shows: Pictures are higher quality in the Premium revised edition.

Just auction the coin if you really want to sell it the mintage is low enough. Many of us never participate in raffles because, well, the real winner of the raffle is the guy selling. I would never participate in a raffle or buy a lottery ticket.

Have to hand it to Ledger, they market a hardware wallet that is designed not to be used but collected instead because opening the box and using it would hurt the value to a collector. 5000 is too many though ... I believe only 1337 of the Pizza Day edition were made.

Quite a fan. Just picked one up. Couldn't find any reference to total number of these released on the product page though Was looking for that to but found nothing. With the pizza edition it was a total of 1337 if i remember correct. 1337 lol really? nerds. <3 I have a tiny personal grudge against Ledger, as they discontinued support for their older wallets and I fear they might do the same thing at some point with their current ones. Do you guys have any view on that issue? The software and hardware itself is really nice though. Trezor was first and Ledger had to play catch up and went through a few products that were not as capable as Trezor until the current Nano S. I don't see them discontinuing the Nano S while they did say eight months ago they were only making 20,000 more Ledger Blues but will continue to support it. I own both Trezor and Nano S and prefer the Trezor user experience to Nano S. YMMV. Trezor is doing the right thing, keeping the original in production and lowering the price while adding the new more expensive Model T to their catalog.

I imagine sales are slowing down. Pretty much anyone who wants a hardware wallet already owns a Trezor or Nano S so Ledger special editions are a way to boost sales while charging a premium. Trezor is taking a different approach to increasing sales. For years Trezor had an affiliate program only paying 5% per referral sale, so Ledger paid 10% and websites advertised Ledger instead of Trezor. Now the Trezor affiliate program is paying 20% per sale so expect to see websites switching from Ledger to Trezor banners.

IMO those of us who were early supporters and have matching numbers for Goddess and Samsara should at least be given the option to claim the same matching number for the Viacoin Edtion coins. I also think it would be a mistake not to serialize the Viacoin Edition coins. Not my call though.

Amazing, that is one of the nicest DIY's I have ever seen. If I had that on my desk I would never get any work done though:)

Congrats on the project and here's hoping you sell out. I agree with @Lauda that I would very much like to see the VaultBar in .999 silver hopefully in the future.

What's with the hat fetish? Lately I'm reminded of "I never saw so many shocking bad hats in my life" said Arthur Wellesley, First Duke of Wellington, as quoted in "Words on Wellington" (1889) by Sir William Fraser.

Buy with tight stop.
And if you aren't an experienced trader who has consistently had winning trades (for years) just wait. It would be easy to get stopped out here if you set your stop too tight. IMO it might be another bull trap and I would feel more comfortable waiting for $7500 to buy but if this is not a fake out you lose $1000 in profit. I don't like the reward for the risk buying right now though: volume is still too low. May well be still stuck in a trading range.

This thread should be stickied IMO. Thanks MJ!

In the last 2014 bear market bitcoin price plunged from $1164 to $152 which was an 87% drop. In today's market that would mean a drop to $2500 - $3000 is possible on panic sellling from bad news. In the event of an unprecedented black swan event we could even see $1300.

I agree certainly do not want to see Collectibles turned into a Garage Sale.

Well according to the pinned post by admin @Cyrus: Considering this is a dedicated section for collectible items, hosting auctions on such items here will make everything more accessible. Posting them in Auctions is entirely optional.
This is a bitcoin forum after all so most collectibles sold are crypto related. I do agree with @teeGUMES that too many non-crypto items are starting to show up for sale. If I wanted to buy watches or whiskey I would go to a forum dedicated to those items. It is the administrator's call though.
