Altcoin.pw P2Pool
As of 5/4/2013, the pool is going to be shut down due to a DDoS attack. My provider can't handle it. Sorry guys, I guess someone doesn't like the CNC. Find another pool.

Update: I stopped the daemon for CoiledCoin. I couldn't take all the ram use. The blockchain will stay up on the site though.
And, I added CHNCoin. Although, the blockchain is still updating so give it a few hours.

Luke is right. The only reason people buy it is to make a profit off how volatile it is. Don't kid yourself in thinking it is as good as bitcoin. Think in terms of all of the COD clones, did they ever actually succeed in being the new popular game? No, because they brought nothing substantially new to the table. COD always won over the market, just like bitcoin does and will.
The god thing is: No one cares what you think. Or what I think. The market has no emotions, but is always right. In 10 years from now we all know more Indeed. Don't get me wrong, I love litecoin. But I love it because ive made tons off it, not because I think it'll be the successor or rival of bitcoin.

Since the bitcoin value is noticeably higher than when Pyramining started, the payout threshold has been lowered to 0.1 BTC.
I wondered where that 0.5BTC came from. Thank you, I didn't think my 50MH/s would ever make it to 1BTC

Added CoiledCoin. It is a memory hog though, eating up 1.5GB ram. I'm not sure how long I can keep it up but there it is.

not gpu farm, imo. most likely a cpu botnet. not sure why pool owners allow this, but it is what it is. I'm sure if you check his/her stats throughout the day, you'll see large fluctuations indicative of PCs coming online, or going off.
whats the problem of botnet? If people allow he to use their cpus to cooperate why not? botnets don't ask people, they infect them without consent. Regardless, the hashrate hasn't flucuated so I assume that it may be a real farm. Probably a 20GH/s bitcoin farm that moved over to altcoins to make more. There are people on this forum that mine with 100GH/s gpu farms.

This pool is making quite a profit at 1.7MH/s worth of fees.

It creates a new chain so people have another chance at being an early adopted and making a fuckton. I know I've already made a ton from being one of the first to mine it.
