301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 30, 2017, 01:55:33 AM
Trading is different from gambling trading is based on 50% skills and 50% luck and gambling is purely based on luck.if you talk about profit then gambling can make you rich overnight provided you are lucky enough and trading can make sure you have reasonable and consistent profits provided you have skills and patience. Both have their pros and cons and if i have to choose one over the other i would go for trading less risky then gambling my coins away. Tongue

beside gambling can make you rich overnight, we have high risk too and chance to losing our money if we are not lucky. but in trading, once we are loss in value when the price is down, we still have a chance to make profit in the other day. the only thing that we need in trading is patience to wait until the price is rise again.
Just to add, in gambling once your money is staked, theres only 2 results, you win or you lose, not sure if there's something like a draw, but in trading if you see that you are already losing 20% of your invested money, you can take it back and save the remaining and look for other opportunity to recover your loss.
302  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Transaction Accelerator viabtc. on: August 22, 2017, 05:37:51 AM
Does anyone besides of me can't sumbit an acceleration on viabtc ? Any other free service like this ? Looking on the forum haven't find a free one besides this.
It's timing issue. Sometimes I submit a transaction id and gets rejected due to the number of transaction ids that has been submitted so what I do I resubmit again after an hour. Not sure if they have a limit of transactions to handle in an hour or day but just try every hour until your request is accepted.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 04, 2017, 03:50:08 AM
Trading is not for everyone. Its easy to say "Buy Low, Sell High" but its actually easier said than done. if you are a first time trader then it is likely that you will commit mistakes and even those who are into crypto trading for quite sometime now still commits mistakes, so dont blame yourself. Get some more patience and have fun trading.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Everybody moving their coins from Poloniex to Bittrex!!? on: August 04, 2017, 03:32:02 AM
I logged in to my Poloniex account and it asked me to read the terms and conditions. I didnt read entirely what the changes is but some people dont like changes and that might have scared them and moved their coins to Bittrex. I'm trying to search for a post in in BCT, maybe someone posted whats the changes and look if theres any reason to be scared off.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 20, 2017, 02:06:45 AM
Nothing wrong with being unemployed and diving into the Bitcoin world. I am considering Bitcoin trading to be bread and butter so that I will have more time with my family since I am getting old and besides there are times that the money I earn from trading Bitcoins is more than what I earn from my 9 to 5 job.
306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is poloniex scamming customers on: July 16, 2017, 05:34:09 PM
I've been using Poloniex for quite some time now and I have never encountered any problems in Deposits and Withdrawal. The volume in this exchange site is much better than others. Other exchange sites are nothing but a nest of coins that rely only in pumps and dumps to survive.
307  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: July 16, 2017, 05:27:04 PM
I'm planning to move some of my coins to Hashnest while there a downtrend of Alt coins and BTC and I guess this will continue till August 1 and while we are not sure of whats going to happen on August 1 and its not a good time to trade, is it safe to move my coins to Hashnest and buy some hash instead of my coins being idle in my wallet, that way my coins are still earning even if I am not trading.
308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: July 12, 2017, 09:59:34 AM
Buy High, Sell Low is something that traders cant avoid even those who are into trading for quite some time now is not exempted on doing this. There are times when waiting for the price of a coin takes some time and you have to cancel and sell low to swing to another coin with higher possibilities of earning more.
309  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Usapang Trading on: July 12, 2017, 09:55:39 AM
310  Economy / Lending / Re: To hell with all you "collateral" extorionists!! on: July 10, 2017, 04:40:00 PM
the point of getting a loan is helping you get ahead without "collateral" otherwise
what's the point  Angry - you may as well go to an exchange! Angry
Would you lend a total stranger and trust him because he says so? If a lender asks for collateral then you have to respect his rules, thats his money and lenders needs protection from scammers. Put your self in the lenders shoe, would you lend money to a random person who knocks to your door and claims he is trustworthy? Lending is a business, lenders needs to protect their business.
311  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Usapang Trading on: July 10, 2017, 04:30:03 PM
312  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Usapang Trading on: July 10, 2017, 04:14:29 PM

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 05, 2017, 04:04:25 PM
Not only that I limit the amount of coins or money that I can spend in gambling, I also limit the time I spend in gambling. I use to spend almost half of my day gambling but I have to put a stop on it and do something else that is productive. You should take control when gambling not the other way around like gambling controls you.
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What determines if a coin goes up or down in price? on: June 27, 2017, 03:49:04 AM
Like whats been said many times about trading its supply and demand. More demand but less supply is good because that will result to the price to go up. Less demand more supply then you are looking a price that will go down as there will be people trying to dispose their coins at cheaper price just to  let it go or convert their coins to fiat.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors on: June 23, 2017, 04:48:38 PM
Depends on how much BTCs do I have that is ready and intended for gambling but since most of the time I bet on sports like MMA, I bet on 2 to 3 fights only and most of them are the one in the main event since those the the ones that are highly publicized and ones with a lot of feedback from analysts.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA FINALS (Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers) on: June 08, 2017, 05:56:23 AM
Game #4 is Cavs. I read an article about GSW management saying that GSW will lose around 22 Million USD if they will sweep the championship, meaning they will win the 4th game in Cavs territory. GSW needs to bring the game back to their home town to earn. Its a ball game yes, but at the end of the day, it's still business.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 212: Aldo vs Holloway Info and Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2017, 02:46:45 AM
First round of Aldo Vs Holloway I give it to Aldo and I thought Aldo have this fight in the bag but Holloway have a fight plan that I many didn't see coming. Holloway waited for the right time and Aldo runs out of gas to continue. Last Saturdays Aldo is different from the Aldo that we see on UFC 163, 169, 179. Maybe Aldo is very cautious after his fight with McGregor.
318  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: anti -dristracted driving act on: May 25, 2017, 09:58:54 AM
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: May 25, 2017, 09:46:25 AM
The main reason why people lose a lot of money in gambling because they play and play gambking even though they not know how it works. And in gambling you must know your limit so that you'll able to have earnings. Many people stays gamble and gamble eventhough they always lose because of greed in themselves.
Even if they know how it works, if they dont have self control they will lose money in gambling. I seen people in real life lost millions of pesos (in my country) in gambling and I have known a person who was requested by her son and daughter to be banned in the casinos near their area but in the end their mom still gamble in another area. No self control will result to bankrupt.
320  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-24]Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million in 5-10 Years, Says PayPal Director on: May 24, 2017, 09:15:11 AM
$1 Million USD is far fetch. It maybe possible not in the coming 5-10 years. Not sure what his reasoning is why he made such prediction but if you think about it, how long did it take for Bitcoin to reach $2,000 level? Even if we say there are other countries who will follow the initiative of japan and Australia, it's still far for us to say $1 Million USD is possible in 5-10 years.
