It is still possible that the whole bear was fake and aimed at ruining CeFi lenders and funds (3AC, Celsius, Voyager) plus idiotic Terra.
Yeah, I could see down to 40k, no problem. Down to 30k, well maybe. But down to 20k just didn't feel like natural movement. Ultimately, 1BTC is worth what someone wants to pay for it and I think common sentiment is probably around 30k these days. We'll see.

If this failed robotic Russian sanctions bitch becomes British PM then I hope the universe saves us from the fucking cliff that this cunt lemming is trying to make us all jump off from. Tory leadership race: Liz Truss now favourite to be next prime ministerhttps://uk.yahoo.com/news/next-tory-leader-boris-johnson-candidates-132212061.htmlRegardless who it is I still think the next PM won't last anywhere near till Putin's resignation or death. Probably not even the one after the next one! You seem to be losing PMs at a fairly rapid rate recently. This may be a sign of something.

I still haven't got the Raspberry PI I wanted to get started with lightning. Backordered. I suspect there simply aren't any to be had right now.
I had a quick look a couple of days ago just because I could probably use the latest. There's a few around but mostly as parts of fairly expensive kits. If you're in the UK and anywhere near the RPi store, probably worth a look. Personally, I'd go with one of the Nuc type devices anyway. More headroom, more flexible (If you're not looking for specifically RPi features), more suitable for the task.

Dabs has raised a great point re OPSEC while out and about on private business.
A mask, hat, sunglasses (try to partly cover ears, distinctive for every person) and a burner (with your main phone Faraday'ed or back home).
Other simple ideas very welcome...
Edit: Maybe learning some of those old spy tricks re OPSEC may make a comeback.
They now also have gait analysis in the works so sticking a stone in your shoe per the spy book I had as a kid may make a comeback.

The whole point is not to completely cover your face, I mean, no one goes out wearing a Mandalorian (Boba Fett?) helmet you bought from toys-r-us, unless you have the whole costume.
The PomPom really pulls it all together. I was actually looking for one I had seen (purchasable with Bitcoin) that had a zip-up guy fawkes mask built into the hood. But no luck so this had to do. Hoodies were growing in popularity in the UK in the early 2000s, doubtless because of the increased surveillance there.

I think that you are reading Dabs too literally...
You are correct. Looking back, I think I had my train of thought interrupted while reading Dabs' post and took the final paragraph on its own. which is holy fucking shit kind of bullshit that should bother you also Richy_T..)
Indeed it does. Interestingly, I am on a discord server and people were concerned about cameras transmitting data through Chinese controlled servers. However, when I brought up the Ring thing, they were OK with it. Apparently surveilance from people who are a lot closer to you and have the ability to come to your door and inflict violence against you is less concerning.

It's true but for example if someone who has taken footage wants to show it on TV, and you are in the frame, quite recognizable (not far away in the background) then they have to ask your permission, or blur your face, here in France. Not so in the US.
This is because French politicians are frequently out fucking their mistresses and don't want to be revealed inadvertently.

I'll keep wearing it for a few months or years into the future while it still looks normal.

In the USA are property taxes paid at the state level?
Here in Ontario taxes are collected municipally. In Mexico we don't pay any property taxes.
I pay county and city. I actually think the city ones are more valid.

We're not going back to barter are we?
I believe current theory is that barter was never really much of a thing and that some kind of fungible unit of account comes into play pretty much immediately. Though surely there's no way to know for sure.

Yeah you get the point Just wanted a clarification since there was an actual attack on the Whitehouse on 5/29/2020. The media doesn't talk about that quite as much though.

And that rebuilding is quite literally the broken window fallacy.
It's funny you mention the broken window fallacy. I agree that it's fake economic progress, but it appears TPTB have now decided that it's the only way to generate worldwide GDP. Purposefully break shit (or let shit break), and then print new money to clean it up and rebuild. 10% for the big guy.

Annnnnd we're back under 21k again
It *is* a Sunday. Hopefully Monday will bring sunshine (which is about face from how the days are named but whatever)

Nevertheless, the boom in the arms industry and all the rebuilding in Ukraine will lead to a economic upturn in the global economy, well in the western economy at least, but when the west goes up, so do the rest of the world.
It may give a boom to the arms industry but all those billions come from somewhere and that's from parts of the economy that builds factories that make useful shit for people. Nothing happens in a vaccum. And that rebuilding is quite literally the broken window fallacy.
