301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan has the highest bitcoin trade volume passing usd and yuan on: August 08, 2017, 08:08:51 AM
Just  the end of yesterdays stocks exchange japan right now is leading the market. It shows that japan was not being so quite when it comes to crypto currency. What are your thoughts about this?
I think there's might be some relation between a bitcoin trade volume in japan, with a news that right now, merchant in japan are accepting bitcoin. even the big dept store are deciding to accept the bitcoin payment method. Japan is one the country that have a great technology facility, Its not suprisingly that the country will do a big adopted to bitcoin.

Japan has been known for high end technology for decades.
And the people there profit from it a lot, and usually are up to date on what is the future.
If They have those high amounts of Bitcoin tradings, I am sure we are on the right path.
As long as they do not sell everything at least.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: August 04, 2017, 03:36:04 PM
I do not see that possibility anymore.
You would need some epic disaster in the crypto world to make that happen.
Bitcoin gets more and more popular. Even in the news of the stock market sites I usually visite bitcoin and ether gets mentioned more and more often.
The fork is through, from my perspective the long term direction of bitcoin price can only go up!
303  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 04, 2017, 02:58:43 PM
I think that the main benefit we all have from bitcoin is its capital growth.
To really earn bitcoins you need some skills, like knowledge about source code or something in that direction.
Most of us do not have that.
So for the larg majority the only way to get bitcoins is to buy them.
That needs capital, which is normaly earned by a regular job.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: August 04, 2017, 02:51:27 PM
Bitcoin is showing growth at a very fast rate and i believe that at this rate of growth, Bitcoin will cross the 4000$ mark by end of
this year or so.

I think its the other way around. Since Bitcoin is growing very fast in the past months then the result is Bitcoin stabilizing its price which is greater than $2k but less than $3k. We can't say for sure that Bitcoin would reach $4k since it hadn't reach $3k so we just need to wait for it to reach this before we begin speculating $4k.

I see it similar: To reach the 4K we have to touch the 3K first. And I am not so sure about that either.
In my opinion btc will move at about the price range it has at the moment.
If a real boost from the fork would follow, I suppose it would have happened by now.
But hey, the level we have right now is more than a success!
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 13 Japanese exchanges agree to suspend bitcoin service on Aug. 1 on: July 20, 2017, 01:13:23 PM
I think that the following quote is very important as well:
'We plan to update the acceptance of bitcoins and the resumption of withdrawals by 16:00 August 4, 2017 (Japan time)'
That means they do not intend to move away from bitcoin.
It's just a precautionary measure for a few days.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you follow daily crypto news? on: July 05, 2017, 08:55:58 AM
I must admit that during the last few weeks I kind of lost track of bitcoin news.
But my main sources for news were the cointelegraph and this board here.
For the future I think I will have more time to keep track of crypto news again.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 per bitcoin on: July 05, 2017, 08:47:33 AM
Bitcoin's price will definitely reach as high as $10K that is clear for me as the day light and I have no doubt about it, but when exactly? I don't think anyone knows the real answer. It could be 10 month from now or 10 long years, I believe bitcoin has that potential already in it's core even though some altcoins might steal away a percentage of user base and market cap but bitcoin will remain in top 5 crypto currencies of all times forever.
If somehow price starts to pump higher than $5000 in 2017 I'd say that would be an obvious pump, fake pump and not safe for anyone to buy that.

I think as well that we will hit the 10K level at some point.
For the near future I assume that we will stay at about the level we have right now.
And for long term, I suppose that it can happen to hit the range of 10K the last few months before the next halving.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 05, 2017, 08:42:03 AM
Due to automation, many jobs have been lost and will be lost and may companies and businesses are only offering part time jobs so yeah I agree that Bitcoin is helping to create more jobs for many people. Take myself for example. I can't get a job outside due to my age as jobs are limited on the Island and most of the jobs go to younger people, so for me it's my total lifeline!
yes  bitcoin is providing jobs opportunities but not on permanent bases. even the bitcoin job is also part time and temporary. people consider bitcoin earning as extra income. although i have a permanent job but still the in come that i get from bitcoin is too much helping for me.
If bitcoin will stay and no job offers that pays bitcoin I think you will say bitcoin is not making jobs.
Understanding what is bitcoin is very important, we have a job now and bitcoin is the payment so it's not bitcoin who is giving a job directly but our employer or the business where we work to get paid, bitcoin is just a currency and an investment as well but when it comes to investment it is not only one sided, bad outcome can also happen.
I think that bitcoin is directly creating jobs as well.
Somebody has to write the software that is used when a payment is made with bitcoin.
And other people work at exchanges. Some people own bitcoin casinos, others have websites where they advertise for bitcoin.
Just a few examples where bitcoin is not the payment, but directly the reason why the job exists.
The payment for that job does not have to be made in bitcoin by the way.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 08:19:27 AM
Like many others I am holding my coins right now.
A year ago I bought some online stuff for a hobby with bitcoin as payment.
Somehow I lost interest in that hobby.
But I still have my coins, and I am not planing to use them for something else.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drops $300 on: June 13, 2017, 08:32:11 AM
Bitcoin has been dropping and climbing since its beginnng.
I suppose it will always be that way.
Of course, on the long run bitcoin has increased its value dramatically.
And with an increased value, the value of the deflection turns larger as well.
But its percentage stays about the same.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling the burn on: June 03, 2017, 02:43:12 PM
Unlucky man, but don't let those experiences ruin your succes in the future. Try to learn from your mistakes and be patient. You haven't lost if you haven't sold(HODDLL).
Personally 2500$ per bitcoin is still a buy since the potential of bitcoin is super high in my opinion. You can maybe wait a couple of days for the price to stabilize around the 2200 mark but it might as well go to 2800 and test the ATH

I think that is exactly what an investment int bitcoin (or any other crypto currency) needs: patience.
The price is so volatile, there is no way to predict how it behaves in the near future.
But if you look at the long run, it has always recovered to a level where it before at some point.
It can take a while, some years maybe, but it will always recover to a point where you can sell without loss.
Just be patient and do never panic.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: June 03, 2017, 02:26:19 PM
That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500, and then 3 days later someone buys it at $2000. But I'm guessing that it's the risk involved in investing, so what do I do now? Sell? Or hold on them?
1. Avoid buying bitcoin/altcoin when there are bull rush going on. Catching the rising wave is risky business. Often you will be late or miss the window of opportunity completely.
2. If you got carried away by hype and bought at ATH don't worry, you won't lose your money, you will have to wait a bit more for correction and another ATH.

It's always the tricky thing to predict how long the bullish time will still hold.
Even when you buy at an ATH, it might be the cheapest bitcoin you come by the next months.
But since we already have bitcoin above 2000$ now for some time already, I would say that we have a developement that is more than just a pump.
I suppose we have to get used to buy bitcoins at a level above 2000$.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy? on: June 03, 2017, 01:49:05 PM
i think if we want to buy bitcoin, we need to wait for the correction price like before so we can buy bitcoin with cheap than now. but for now, we need to waited for a while before the price is down, i think we can trade altcoin with bitcoin first if we still have stock of bitcoin in our wallet so we can grow our bitcoin before we buy back.

It's always the question if there will be a correction.
Maybe you will never get bitcoin as cheap as today. But personally i think that a correction is likely to happen.
Anyway, if bitcoin is not an investment but used as a form of payment, every time is the right time to buy.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happened for the market? on: May 27, 2017, 09:01:55 AM
Basically I do not see much of a problem.
Right now we are at a level where we were about two weeks ago.
And if you look four weeks in the past, nearly nobody could have imagined that we would be at about 1800$ right now.
The spike in between was just madness.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 26, 2017, 01:39:07 PM
To me the 5000 level seems too far away for the coming seven months.
We have already more than doubled btc price this year.
I would really appreciate it if the price could stabilize at the level we have right now for a while.
Going higher and higher will encourage some investors to cash out.. and we would fall back again.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 22, 2017, 08:28:02 AM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act

Well, so far your theory remains a far cry from reality

Bitcoin has been rising and it will likely continue to rise in the future. If anything, it proves its robustness as a decentralized (read free of government control) currency. Using it for extorting ransom is a sort of real life stress test, but that doesn't mean in and of itself that this is the only field of Bitcoin's application. I'm in no case justifying such acts (i.e. encrypting file systems and then demanding money to be paid to decrypt it), but, as to me, the effect of that would be positive on Bitcoin in the long run. In other words, don't shoot the messenger, he is doing his best!

as it look now it prove that investors don't care at all about any thing outside of their daily trading activity or they are not the same people, i mean it's not like the people affected by this malware are the same that are pumping now bitcoin...

They certainly do care

But this FarCry event is evidently not something which would attract their attention for longer than a few second timespan. If some exchange got hacked (say, Bitfinex again), that would certainly raise a stir in the Bitcoin investment establishment. If anything, 50 bitcoins is not a big deal really, so people affected by this ransomware cannot be pumping Bitcoin right now unless they buy up bitcoins in massive amounts for future payouts, of course (as the saying goes, if it rains it pours)

I think that if anything, that attack made a little scratch in bitcoins public reputation.
So in my opinion, the attack would have brought the bitcoin price even down, not up.
To my big surprise, most media did not even mention that the ransom should have been paid in bitcoin.
They were more focused on the attack itself, the reports about how bitcoin was involved in this were really small.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC really survives over the next days... on: May 18, 2017, 06:28:41 AM
I still do not see a reson why bitcoin should be in danger, or under pressure.
It's nearly at an all time high if I read the numbers correctly...
And regarding the marKet capitalization:
Number two is ripple. Somehow it should be worth nearly half of bitcoin. Ripple is a premined coin. How should that end up?
Market capitalization is a number without any meaning.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: May 18, 2017, 06:15:40 AM
Spread your money across a variety of investments and that will yield you diversely. Have a portion for bitcoin investments, like in online casino, or for trading altcoin, and have some for non-bitcoin related investments like stocks, bonds, real estate, or even your own business. All of these will need different levels of attention and the right attitude towards that goal of making your money produce more money for you.
That's a good suggestion, it will minimize the risk and actually that is what I have been using now, I have investment in different gambling sites while I also hold variety of altcoins that I believe will pump in the future to come. The better way to make money fast is when we start to risk, and that is
"making money from your money" I like it.
There are no fast money other than playing gambling.Investing takes time but if you have many investments and as he said to diversify your money into different investments will give you a good amount of profit from time to time even without focusing on each of your investments just to know how can you manage it. Creating money from money will be Investments only.
But always keep in mind that creating money from money does not have to work necessarily.
At those offers that that bring you guaranteed more money back than you have invested, your profit is minimal.
The higher your profit, the bigger is the risk that something might go wrong and you end up with less money than you invested.
That's why being a professional investor is a full time job. And even those have their setbacks.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: The simple truth is.. on: May 18, 2017, 06:07:34 AM
I think that in this point you can compare bitcoin to gold.
There is not enough gold for everybody as well. But exatly that is one of the reasons where gold draws its value from.
Personally I think that the payment system part of bitcoin is losing its importance. People use it less and less.
So bitcoin needs to be a rare good in order to keep or rise its value.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: Bubble about to pop. on: May 08, 2017, 03:12:48 PM
Of course the intense growth of the last weeks is extreme, because it was spread all over the crypto currencies.
But I do not think that is was only caused by major investors who pull back all together in a sudden.
I think a lot of small investors entered the crypto world, and I don't believe they withdraw their investment as easy as the professionals.
So to me some kind of correction can be expected, but a massive strike, I doubt that.
