301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some questions regarding ICOs on: August 30, 2017, 03:04:18 AM
I think ICO's are multimillion investment and a commoner cant just finish it. If you really want to release you own, you have to make your own research and build connection. Asking questions here can be very helpful but there are just a lot of stuff that needs to be done and chain questions would come one after another. So if really want to assemble team, you better cover all members that some teams have in each has specified job and one person should be the only in here asking questions.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Earning with bounties campaigns on: August 30, 2017, 02:07:21 AM
Hi

Is there anyone has joined several bounties campaigns at the same time? (Facebook, Twitter, Signature, etc.)

How many campaigns have you joined?
How much time do you spend?
How much is your income?

I guess you want to be a full job bounty hunter,my  experience  is CDT signature , got a nice income.
I think the most important is to choose a right and potential coin, not how many bounties you join, some coins's bounties are waste of time.
But it isn't that easy to find a good bounty.
It's all a matter of luck and no strict ways to follow.
So my advice is to join as many as you can within a specific time.

I mostly join social media campaigns like facebook, twitter, reddits and etc. that computes your post automatically. Its really a hassle to do reports of your post. When on an ICO this is really the upside for me.

I think it is better for me than actually doing a physical works. Because you could just sit there and post. For me even if they pay tokens i would still go. Not all but at least i see to it that i select good platforms. Having a token for me is assurance you will be garuanteed to get money after they release there coin. Even if its low price i think exchanging there tokens to sites is still profitable.
303  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin taxation in the UK? on: August 30, 2017, 01:47:06 AM
...

Well in my country bitcoin is not yet fully regulized. But since i am about to move to UK also. I find this topic very insightful. In my country Philippines, there is an exchange site (coins.ph) that we use and we put bitcoin there and it can automatically convert it to Peso (PHP), then you can withdraw it in different styles, like transfer it in a bank account. There is no tax there or any payments on your withdrawal and its free.

My question for anyone in UK, is there the same site that does this same services? Might not be free but as long as it could convert btc to GBP?

There aren't many services offering BTC/GBP pairing, you could always use a regular exchange, even if you sell BTC for USD and withdraw by bank transfer, the funds would get converted to GBP by your UK bank.

There was a great app that did what you describe (auto-conversion) - Circle, but they don't support BTC anymore.

You can also check Coinbase, they have a mobile app and are open to UK (I believe they have BTC/GBP pair), but haven't tested them yet so not sure is it any good.

Oh ok.. thanks for the info. Good thing i have encountered this post becausei tried posting about this but unfortuntely no one replied me. The only services i know that could support bank to bank is ripple? because i actually havent tried it. Can it transfer money country to another country?. Specfifically PHP to GBP if possible? Havent actually tried its services? can anyone clarfiy me about ripple?
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 29, 2017, 03:39:38 PM
It may have reached $ 5000 this week. But let's look at Bitcoins is flactuating and no one knows I'm going to drop it and raise it. Just what matters today is that you get bitcoins because it will be worth millions of dollars. In the future and if it will happen we will all be wealthy and will be get out on the poverty. So just keep up.Until this has become million

Yap there is no late investing in  btc because it is always increasing. Not in a fast pace but it is. There maybe times it will go dow  but it's nature of any business to at least release and give to make people like the trade you want to offer now may be its lowest price cause we would never know when it will go up to at least 1k in just 2 weeks.
305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we stop calling all coins pump and dump? on: August 29, 2017, 02:54:31 PM
A pump and dump should be a instant rise and the fall back to even or less then it was in a span of like 10 minutes.
That's not what a pump and dump is.  A pump and dump involves artificially inflating the price and increasing hype so that people continue buying, after which you sell your crypto.

For example, NEO had a pump and dump because people were posting about buying it on completely unrelated threads and suggesting that it will go to outrageous prices extremely soon.  This was most likely artificial hype and the price went up far too high.

Considering that many coins have very little purpose other than a bit of hype and the ability to be pumped and dumped, it's fair enough to use those terms in a lot of situations.

In my own obsevation, it is called as such because CEO's can control the price if its available. Increase of deflate or other term would require correlation of different stocks depending on its supply and demand. Although the same concept i could see why it was named pump and dump. To be clarified about the things that are happening in to coin market. That coin market does not always go with the flow of the world economy but rather on how much they would give or retract.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Major Gold investor is entering Bitcoin market on: August 29, 2017, 02:06:47 PM
i personally feels bit more risk in holding bitcoins as compare to gold. Gold is stable from years but on the other hand bitcoin has changed its prices by a reduction % of more then 70 so according to me its not a good idea for those who are looking to hold their money in form of bitcoins rather then gold.

Well he is rich so i dont think that he has problem with those. He can have the budget to really safeguard whatever he will invest in btc. We can see how btc is successful in another year. And i bet he is already starting to mine btc and not just gold. But really are profitable so i guess there is no harm for him to risk in btc especially with that kind of networth.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao vs. Horn - REMATCH! on: August 29, 2017, 01:43:17 PM
I don't really care anymore about the remath and many i'm sure are feeling the same way. Pacquiao's already way past his prime and horn is banking on hometown advantage. I don't think it's going to be interesting to watch these two get at it again.
i have bad feeling about this that he probably will lose again and indeed seems you said it's true that Pacquiao almost had already at the end of his career and i think he should be thinking about his conditions now and focus on his political career and support the new comer
we know Manny by heart and he will pursue to bring glory to his country and its still a great one to retire with a belt maybe he will
try to accomplish this and if i remember it right he still got two games left for bob arum so if he wins the rematch the deciding match
will be the last one i guess, but just pure speculations.
Whatever Pacquiao decides to do next, that wouldn't lessen his accomplishments as a pro boxer. He has given so much pride and honor to his country over the years and he gave his all to slay foes who are usually bigger than him. Even if he loses again to Jef Horn (which I doubt would happen again), that wouldn't make him less of a hall of famer. He has earned his place among boxing's greatest and most exciting fighters of all time. Any more fight from here on in is just clearly for the money.

Because its just frustrating that he was again robbed of a sure win game. The judge said horn won because he tried hard. Damn, that game is not earned by just trying but at least you should show you win. Like when he fought bradley. It different events but pacquiao was the winner in score cards. And i agree with you, he already is an achiever so i dont think rematch is good and pacquiao now is in a retiring age for those kinds of age so he should just focus on his other careers in the politics.
308  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin taxation in the UK? on: August 29, 2017, 12:02:49 PM
In the United States, bitcoin is treated as an item of property and is subject to property tax. Whereas in the United Kingdom, bitcoin is treated as private money and is subject to value added tax, corporate tax, income tax and capital gains tax. Since bitcoin is property in the US, when lost or stolen, there are deductions available. Does it mean that when taxed under UK laws, bitcoin cannot be subject to any deductions or exemptions because it is not property but money? What about when bitcoin is given as a gift - what is the proper way of taxation?
It's not subject to VAT, Corporat~e~ion Tax isn't relevant (unless you own a business which makes a profit using Bitcoin, and then yes it is of course taxable). Income tax is suffered no matter which currency you are paid in. Gains from any currency investment are subject to Capital Gains taxes.
Bitcoin is classed as 'foreign currency' in the uk. if you use it in business you pay tax on any gains but you can also claim back any depreciation in the tax year.

309  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bitcoin do in market crash 3.0? on: August 29, 2017, 11:53:13 AM
I think people jump into bitcoin in right before global market crash in emergency. That will pump price to very high levels like $10k $20k even. But after crash people will return to cash and stocks so bitcoin will go down.

As I noticed there is no permanent crash is been taken part in bitcoin without 2013's dump. If there is crash take part you please take the situation and buy the bitcoin as much you can first. Whenever there is adoption or updation on bitcoin or blockchain related works you will get the next peak value in the price chart.

Oh so i guess it was 2013 that started this hype on btc. Because i started btc in 2015 and so far i have not seen i big issue on btc dumps. There may have been dump but it is not beyond a crash. I guess im gonna have to agree that it would become a gold where it could be a lifetime mining business. Gold has existed for a long time and it is still in demand today. I could see btc is in the same path but with different versions over the years.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 29, 2017, 11:20:36 AM
Expected thing happened, nobody surprised by this game and result. Mayweather could have finished before 10th round if he wanted to. The game could be less than 20 minutes but he didn't force himself. McGregor should stick to mixed martial arts, boxing isn't for him.

Yup. A lot of people went home with a little more money because of this. Betting on mayweather won't really give you big profits as he is handsdown favorite. Though if you placed a bet on pretty boy floyd, you probably were a little concerned with the beginning of the fight where conor actually won. It wasn't actually what most expected for floyd to school mcgregor. Conor lost wind late in the fight
Mayweather  is a smart fighter, he is just trying to give entertainment to the fans that's why this game was not ended early.
He sticks to his plan and he beat Conor in the late round, it's not a problem for conor anymore as he has no reputation to protect in boxing, but at the end of the day Conor is the winner with great cash reward.

This also proves how reputation he has as an athlete. People are hyped with those trashtalks in prelim weight ins. But after the match, it is just a fight and we can that both of them has respect to each other and how mature they are with each other. Fans should not always base the characteristics on the on those weight ins cause those are just simple mind games. I liked how mcgregor said he learned somthing and that mayweather is really an experienced fight and he got into his head. Thats real athlete to you.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and government, what does the future holds? on: August 29, 2017, 11:00:24 AM
It crossed my mind yesterday and I was thinking what if the government wakes up with an obnoxious law against btc ?
Its trade, exchange and outrightly banning btc usage.
Is this possible?
Do you see this coming?
What do you think & what will happen?

Dude, "government" usually it's not one person, it's a lot of people, someone cannot simple push a ban on stuff and everyone goes with it, many people involved in "government" also have bitcoin and other crypto, they ain't gonna ban it.

There are many shitty countries where laws are like you said, the guy wakes up one day and simply ban stuff, but I think people there have more concerning issues than bitcoin.

Well for me, i think it would be better for a government to regulate it than ban it. Cause there are a lot of opportunities here, if they ban it, people would tend to find ways just to acquire btc if possible. Because btc is concidered a gold also. And not easy to ban those kinds of gold, the government eventually would have to make ammends to that law so that at least control its productivity.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 29, 2017, 10:41:46 AM
Really possible, but in my opinion this is a lot more possible when talking about countries like The United States, Australia, and other first world countries. I don't see this happening to 3rd world countries or even poorer countries due to poverty; the poor crowd couldn't even afford food and basic commodities, what more a mobile device to transact bitcoin with? My guess is that both fiat money and cryptocurrency will both be used. If digital currency would replace  fiat money I don't see it happening in this lifetime.

And this digital currency just represent something services that they provide that could be used to pay or to use there services. It does not really classified as currency but rather a token. I know token is different from coin but my point is that its just something you give so that you could sell it to bigger currencies like that. But maybe in time there will be banks who would accept kinds of digital currency and not just btc.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your split between altcoins and btc on: August 25, 2017, 06:48:13 AM
I'm hold about 90% Altcoin and 10%bitcoin, because too late to know bitcoin. And I'm new about cryptocurrency and need more learn.

Probably on 60-40 for in favour of btc because te only altcoin that i have and had traded was doge eth bcc monero and Ltc. Especially in the early yeArs where doge coin and Ltc were the 2nd 3rd inline that i was aware of until eth made a whole lot of ruckus when it had a good platform and there it started many altcoins base on its platform. Most of my earnings are in btc so btc is highest for me.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin among conglomerates on: August 25, 2017, 05:16:50 AM
Do the rich now begin to invest some of their money in bitcoin?

There are some rich person are trying to invest in crypto but not in bitcoin atall. Such as there are some companies are trying to take the advantage of the blockchain and try to develop their own blockchain through make a partnership with some Project that already provided the blockchain structure such as ethereum.

I'm sure about it, but there is no way to know who are the rich people investing on Crypto-Currency, they try to stay most anonymous as possible and maybe using other people to invest for them here. Crypto-Currency, especially Bitcoin have became too big and strong, powerful people won't stay out of the future of financial system. They will try to take advantage somehow, and if they try hard I'm sure they will...

Well there are chances that these people were the one who made by high in demand in supply. Because btc won't attain these LVL if there were no investors who would support these kind of stuff. Satoshi might be name from Japan but maybe he got his funds in the American soil that helped him in a secretive ways. From what i think there are already bunch of rich guys who had helped invest in btc.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if BTC gets regulated? on: August 25, 2017, 04:48:23 AM
As the prices in high rate now and the chance for other people used it in illegal way it is how the government attention goes to it. If it goes beyond the needs of they're citizens it is when they will talked about regulating this. And so on, and so forth. In the end regulation of one country always comes from the clamor of its people and you must have to abide to it for majority wins.

Hard to ignore something that this high amount value. so i guess even if government gives a go signal for its regulation then a lot of people could really manipulate it more freely than doing transaction behind the governments back. Well for me, im just doing small transactions so nothing illegal but you really track btc transaction if it's legal or not so that's also one has catch of btc.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippine Central Bank approves licenses for 2 cryptocurrency exchanges? on: August 25, 2017, 01:34:01 AM
If this is true there won't be a problem building up an exchange business here because in the Philippines Bitcoin cam be freely traded as it is not classified as an illegal currency. The only bad thing about this is of the business will not be true about there annual incom tax return. As they will be heavily scrutized if abused. Another thing to point out is the possibility of establishing more than a market but we might also see local businesses accepting Bitcoin soon.

Seeing Philippines still has a lot of issues on drugs it would take time for the government to fully utilize it for the public. I have not read a specific company in those article. Or its just me reading it wrong. I just read laws and articles about money laundering. And i am not sure what we're those companies they are talking about. Some citizen has already made way to accommodate btc in their own accord and i think it's just the government that was late in accepting btc.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Endless Possibilities on: August 24, 2017, 02:24:51 PM
Yes,it seems that bitcoin has endless possibilities.First, satoshi created it as an alternative payment method to traditional banking system. Then,it was mostly adopted and widely used by dark markets. Then, people started using it to buy goods online and to pay for services. And now,it has been mostly saved by people as a valuable asset which could give huge returns since its price is highly increasing. And we don't know exactly that what would be the next possibility. So far, bitcoin has travelled in different grounds and yet to travel in many more.
It seems clear to me that bitcoin will even more successful in terms of investment in the long run. It has good demands from people who are loyal in using bitcoin. This is the good sign of many developing countries worldwide. There is a big chance for our country to be more successful also so that means many will be given help but of course it should be educated ones to perform any case of bitcoin. We have to meet and work on the possibilities that may happen to bitcoin but as of now there many good things that are happening because of bitcoin and for sure everyone will agree on that. To infinity and beyond!

Well it has been successful and today it needs just to be recognize in other places and even remote places if possible. Not that they will use it as transaction but still they need to know the new investing strategy that cryptocurency can give. Probably 5-10 years or more till everyone can know that cryptocurrency but right now it gives opportunities to any status of life. Possible not just investing but many will now use virtual currency for there transaction big or small amounts.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Alt Currencies be Affected if the Stock Markets Crash Today? on: August 24, 2017, 01:22:17 PM
It is widely predicted that stock markets will crash in 2017 because of historical antecedents. Should this happen, what is the fate of the cryptocurrency ecosystem?
The answer is "None" since they are not correlated to each other because stocks and digital currencies are on different fields. If you do try to differentiate them you would really get on the thing what i suppose to say.
Even on forex, theres nothing to do with it on digital currencies even if it would crashes today.

Totally agree. Probably today they seem to be connected on wether what platform they came from but maybe in time each of them now will have there own blockchain. That you will not use them only on its server site. But off course think of it as a fiat money where some money is dominant and other economies would depend on the larger currency. But there are countries who could stand alone that they really dont need other currencies to measure there own wealth.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you view more favorably, BTC or BCH? on: August 24, 2017, 11:17:41 AM
I will go to btc, because as you can see bch is a new currency and anything new, is not preferable to use. You can compare it to our technology, at first it was not that good but after the years go by, its starting to get better and better. Just like the btc being the technology thats get better and bch as the technology at first.

Me too because for me i dont even have bcc. I just had bcc during the hardfork. I have small amounts of bcc just to try it for trading. I gotta say the price of bcc has increased earlier last week and to some it up it has been the 2nd highest altcoin even just 2 weeks of its inception. I dont even fully understand its feature but now that segwit has been activated, i guess there would be some who would again be in favor of btc. BCH may have better technology but for me, i just converted the bcc to btc because its the only coin supported in my country.
320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i care about mining as a trader? on: August 24, 2017, 10:23:34 AM
should i care about mining as a trader? does it affect the coins in anyway?
Yes it is mate, because all what happened now bitcoin mining or altcoin mining has a big connection on what's happening in this field of industry. even for the price value of bitcoin. I know time will come that if your profit is enough you could have your own mining rig in your home then you will one of the mining supporters of bitcoin.

Well its up to the owner also. Because for me i am not a miner but at least i know how mining helps the blockchain in the transactions. Though if you can do both then its better. But i guess if you are already a miner, trading is not really a good thing for you. There are many kinds of miners and technologies for mining so i guess those who uses GPU still are in trading for extra profit. All maybe are trading but what you mine you will sell it also so its just the same.
