301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 23, 2019, 01:48:27 PM
The bounty program reward is now not giving so much earning because of more participant joining and the reward is limited. The bounty hunters are now switching towards the trading whatever the profit they earned from the bounty.

I think that the problem is the enormous increase in the number of the bounty hunters. The rewards have remained almost at the same level. But the bounty per user has gone down, due to the increase in the number of participants.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 21, 2019, 11:04:48 PM
When I first registered here, the exchange rate was around $10 per coin. I never purchased any BTC or alts. I got them through bounty campaigns and give-aways (back then it was quite easy to earn them). I sold a part of my coins when the prices went up in 2017. So as you can see, I waited for almost 5 years to profit out of my coins.
303  Other / Meta / Re: Yobit spam on the forum on: April 21, 2019, 08:10:08 AM
May simply cancel signature companies on the forum.
Then there will be no spam.
There will be one silence.

That's a good idea. I am in favor of banning all the signature campaigns in this forum. That will definitely bring down the amount of spam. And no one can accuse anyone of bias. But I don't want selective justice. Either all the signature campaigns that doesn't violate the forum policies must be allowed, or all of them must be banned irrespective of the number of participants.

Let Theymos decide. But my opinion is that none of the sig campaigns are doing any good for this forum.
304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukrainian elections, please answer on: April 21, 2019, 06:51:35 AM
Poroshenko is probably the most hated candidate in Ukrainian elections. Tymoshenko is a cunning **tch. And the only viable candidate would be Zelensky. With the new Nord stream nearing completion, Ukraine needs a strong and neutral person to tackle economic and social crisis Ukraine is heading towards.

The Ukrainians are still living in a fool's paradise. They think that if they sabotage the Nord Stream 2, then they can extort Russia all the money they want for the gas transit. But that is not going to happen. With the completion of South Stream, Russia will be able to honor the minimum volume requirements even without using the Ukrainian transit.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New opportunities? on: April 21, 2019, 06:44:57 AM
Hey guys!

Any new and promising ICOs to be looking after? I've viewed many but, tbh, most of them seem rubbish. Any actual ones worthy of investment in? Thanks!

There are some very good projects which are live right now, but looking at the market conditions I would say that it will be better if you defer your plans for some more time. Imusify is one ongoing project that has caught my attention. It is based in Estonia. Another project that comes to my mind right now is TerraGreen. The project tokenizes renewable energy projects and the promoters are based in Malaysia.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is so great on: April 21, 2019, 06:40:34 AM
It is true that a lot of the early adopters became rich. But it happens everywhere. Those who invested $1,000 in the Microsoft IPO (33 years ago, on Match 1986), would be having shares worth $1.6 million on their demat accounts right now. Satoshi made a lot of people rich, just like Bill Gates and many other businessmen.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 21, 2019, 06:37:32 AM
I think they are very busy nowadays with the creation of hot wallets and auditing. Maybe you should wait for a few more months and then remind them about your issue. I can't guarantee you anything, but in case what you are saying is true, then there is a good chance that they may refund the coins.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 21, 2019, 06:35:04 AM
There was a time when the rewards from a single signature bounty was equivalent to the monthly wages in some third world nations. But a lot has changed since then. Many of the bounties are not paying, the duration of the campaigns have increased, and above all the rewards have declined by as much as 80% to 90%.
309  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: April 21, 2019, 06:29:54 AM
I am not a big fan of Yobit, and I have posted against this exchange earlier multiple times. That said, I need to point out a few things:

1. Most of those users who are posting against the campaign are doing so because their own campaigns are paying much lower than what Yobit does. To put it simply, due to jealousy.

2. Theymos has made it clear that unless Yobit violates the forum policies, neither the exchange or the users can be banned.

3. Here the most heavy criticism is coming from those users who are themselves accused of borderline spamming.

4. In case you need to take action against this campaign, concentrate more on the quality of posts being made by the participants rather than blaming the campaign for being so generous.

5. From what I have noticed, the quality of posts being made by the participants of Yobit campaign so far has been much better than those made by other users (may be due to the ongoing controversy). There are some 10% spammers, but they are present everywhere.

310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: April 21, 2019, 06:23:09 AM
Not all the ICOs are bad. Even now, there are a few good projects ongoing. But due to the influx (or flood) of scammers, you need to be extra-vigilant. I'd say go only for those ICOs, where the promoters are well known people.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop is more profitable than Social Media Bounty ? on: April 21, 2019, 06:20:59 AM
Not sure about this. I have never participated in social media bounty, so can't talk about it. From what I have heard, the rewards from social media bounty declined by quite a lot during 2018.

I have participated in some airdrops. Those in 2017 used to give moderate rewards. I received as much as $100 from some airdrops. But most of the present airdrops are not that good.
312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: April 20, 2019, 05:53:01 AM
YoBit is having a very bad reputation here and their official thread was locked almost an year ago. The user who used to post on their behalf is no longer active and does not reply to the PMs. I strongly advise the users here not to trust them once more.

Very surprised to see their campaign here once more. They used to run a campaign until 2018, and I have seen users mentioning that it was once of the highest paid back then. But they had some issues with getting payments on time.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: April 20, 2019, 05:48:58 AM
for me there are three reasons why they do not want to invest in crypto
1. they have not known crypto
2. they are not interested
3. they are afraid to invest after losses

All of these points are valid. Bitcoin is a very volatile and high-risk investment and those who are afraid or not capable of taking such a risk should rather go for assets with low volatility, such as the US treasury bonds or bullion bars.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the next economic collapse trigger massive crypto adoption? on: April 20, 2019, 05:45:48 AM
I am an user of this forum for the last 7 years. A lot of times, such claims were made here. A similar claim was made after the Cyprus bank haircut. But there was no major boost in Bitcoin adoption after the haircut. More recently, such claims were made during the crisis in Venezuela. But once again, I could not notice any major changes in the adoption patterns.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Market ‘Bullish’ in Wake of Bitcoin’s 20% Surge on: April 20, 2019, 05:43:12 AM
Crypto market bullish is strong sentiment we are seeing among most of the investors we can say this type of market sentiment we saw way back in 2017 now the same positive atmosphere in cryptocurrency

The amount of Good Publicity about bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a good sign that we are indeed entering to pre-bull run stage. With the price holding in $5200 level its only a matter of time before we break the $6K USD price level

$6K is likely the price everyone wanted to see. We have seen the price stable around that price last year, I think it was like 4 months wherein the price is around $6k-$6500. So getting to $6k will give some confidence again to the market. So let's see how the price will move, I'm positive that we can get to $6k.

Once $5K is breached, the next major resistance level is going to be $10,000 per coin. I am telling this from the trends that I observed during 2017. But reaching there obviously requires a major trigger.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: April 20, 2019, 05:40:56 AM
yes, maybe 2018 years for correction and now it's 2019, bitcoin will rise again and hopefully it will come back like 2017
where do we feel what is new all time high, then the most important thing is that our community is also solid, not easy to do panic selling in a random and unpredictable way

Ideally, the profit booking must be done when the prices are high. It is not advisable to sell the coins while the market is undergoing a correction phase. The most sensible thing would be to sell the coins in small installments and to refrain from dumping all of them in one go.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will ICO's do with those unsold tokens? on: April 19, 2019, 01:00:44 PM
I have seen many ICO's selling tokens for cryptocurrencies. What will they do with those unsold tokens at the end of their ICO? Some say they will burn it so no one can use it. Are they burning it or is it really the good to burn those unsold tokens?

If they promise to burn the unsold tokens in the whitepaper, then it is their duty to carry out that promise. If they are not doing that, then the reputation of the project will get tarnished beyond any redemption.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etheredelta Which one is genuine ?? on: April 19, 2019, 12:59:23 PM
In coin marketcap i am not getting link for Etherdelta is https://forkdelta.app/ abut etherdelta.com also working which is genuine . Is etherdelta.com still safe to use. Please give me suggestion some of my tokens only tradable in etherdelta.

Forkdelta is another exchange, which is as good as Etherdelta. You can use any of these two (depending on the token which you want to trade). From my personal experience, I would say that Forkdelta is more user friendly.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its now official: Kraken is delisting BSV on: April 19, 2019, 12:57:43 PM
Delisting is a negative step and it is not going to do any harm for BSV. There will be hundreds of smaller exchanges where BSV can be actively traded. We are just handing an opportunity for Craig Wright to amass more BSV coins at cheap prices.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: April 18, 2019, 01:18:55 PM
I still believe EOS https://cmc.io/coins/eos, BAT https://cmc.io/coins/basic-attention-token and Ontology https://cmc.io/coins/ontology are the most promising alts at the moment. Just look at their stats Wink

Ontology is definitely one of the most promising alts right now. And unlike other alts such as Cardano and EOS, this coin is very reasonably priced. Another promising alt that comes to my mind is 0x. It is also reasonably priced at current levels.
