3021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BANKSYCOIN OFFICIAL LAUNCH # NEW CRYPTO COIN on: September 12, 2014, 04:18:11 PM

Why would anyone buy there when it's 46 on Bittrex?
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BANKSYCOIN OFFICIAL LAUNCH # NEW CRYPTO COIN on: September 12, 2014, 01:57:34 AM
Added a bunch new artwork!!  Figured the price in BSY by splitting the buy/sell on Bittrex!  If anyone wants me to list some 2.5 X 3.5 hand drawn sketch cards let me know!!

I have also been getting drawings back for out http://www.islanddreamscards.com/ charity set.  Got a couple from LucasFilms/Disney artist Tsuneo Sanda (www.sandaworld.com), I would we willing to put one up on Banksycoin.com but it's not cheap!!  We're talking a cool 1 million BSY.  Anyone up for it?

So we're on 6460 or so, so we have a ways to go!!

Indeed we do, we have had a couple of suggestions of doing split PoW phases though but are unsure if we would go about it that way unless we have more interest.

At the moment keep mining and get your Shade as the time is slowly running out!
Just started mining, like the coin!!  Only thing that would make it better would be random bonus blocks!!!

I'm going to add a bunch of new artwork.  Still trying to get the hang of listing stuff!!

Mine just say 20 port USB hub on them, and they both work great
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.5] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: September 09, 2014, 02:30:51 PM
Trying to get minera to play with some gridseed blades here
Unfortunately, they don't run well with cpuminer, I've tried it on a few setups with differing cpuminer versions. Often not detected and often run slow if they are. Minis ran fine on those setups :/
The blades do run okish with bfgminer on the hashra thingy,
When I try changing minera from cpuminer to bfgminer (I'm setting the scrypt option and freq at 650 as I've undervolted) it crashes and burns. I can't even log in via terminal after doing that let alone the web interface. I would really like to know how to unscrew it in config files as reburning a whole image is a getting very tedious...
Any clues as to why it is crashing and burning would also be greatly appreciated. While I'm not expecting it to mine perfectly first go at settings, not even being able to log after changing to bfgminer is making it tricky to even get running...

I have blades running with CPUminer.  Clock set to 838.  Superuser set and it set to restart if the minerd dies.  Sometimes it takes them a while to get going with the pool I'm using, and sometimes a blade goes off-line.  Other than that they run fine.  Right now they have been running for 4 days without a problem.

Can anyone calculate and confirm daily supply? Could it be more then 200k sys?

128 Syscoin per block * 60 blocks per hour * 24 hours per day = 184320 Syscoin

It should be correct.

Then you also have the transaction fees added in correct?

dispointed to sys

If the DEVs come out with features it will rise!!  Cheesy

+1 for site and roadmap

i think sys site is best in cryptoworld

Unfortunately, the value of the coin keeps saying otherwise.  Dumpers are killing it because the block rewards are too big.

The people that bought SYS with the ICO (most) are holding.  OK, I'm a merge miner with say 150 MH/s (3 50 MH/s rigs), I hate to say it, but I have one thing on my mind ROI, need to pay for the rigs so I have buy better/faster rigs when they come out.  They are not holding, they are dumping as fast as they can mine it.  Merge mining is keeping the hashrate high, but SYS is getting dumped as a byproduct of it.

I have been mining and dumping another coin for months, trying to pay for the ASICs I own.  I have taken some and bought SYS, but when the price of ASICs starts going down, I want mine to be paid for.  It was the same with GPUs, buy, mine, sell, buy something better...

Look at the mining page, ROI is what everyone wants.  I'm sure there are some holding, but the big miners are working to make the ROI on their rigs, people who are renting hashpower sell to pay and take the profit.

Not FUD, hard fact...

The wallet has been doing that for months.  Back a bunch of pages ago I brought it up and asked about a new wallet.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | New Bounties! | Now with Mac wallet! on: September 08, 2014, 03:26:13 PM
One of the most annoying things about the CFC2 wallet is that it seems to go through a "Not Responding" cycle.  Any idea what causes this and how to correct it?
3033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: September 08, 2014, 11:02:24 AM

The network is at 18Gh/s but I don't see any pool with big hashrate.. where are the big pools ?

people using ASICs don't need to join pool. We can assume that most of the GHs are miners using ASIC and going solo.

I don't think it's sols miners, I agree with snipsnoop, I think it's the merge miners.  With the DIFF and the price, solo mining would be pointless.

HEY! There are 3 of us now mining over at fusionhash! Come on down guys!

There are only a few of us at fedaykin's pool also.   I'm still catching 7-10 blocks per hour!!

We (BeardedCouncil) should hear back about our blown up asic in the next day or so. Has net rate dropped that much?

It did, but it's back up to about 850 MH now.  The price of OCTO has been going up, so I think there are more miners around again.

Just so you all know, I gave the SYS community a shout out on the radio show today.  Maybe next month one of the US DEVs might want to call in and discuss "Magic Internet Money" for the listeners.

Do you have a link to a podcast or anything.

Yes, it will be up next week.  As our weekly train wreck of a show goes, this one wasn't the best.  My co-host truck broke down.  As November get closer (then the school does their fundraiser) we'll be chatting more about "SYS and CLAM, the magic internet money donated to the hospital", and the community behind it.
