3021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: April 08, 2019, 10:21:27 PM
Investors and new people in the cryptocurrency will trust cryptocurrency again and even more, if there will be no hacking incidents, that's going to happen, can you see, every time there is a hacking incident, the price of all the coins are dropping, if we can weed out good exchange to bad ones, we can move forward.
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cardano Replace Bitcoin in 10 Years? on: April 08, 2019, 10:11:06 PM
If Cardano manages to successfully launch PoS, and it really gets so decentralized as Charles claims, I think in the next 10 years Cardano can surpass Bitcoin, not just as a utility but as a marketcap and a store of value.

Any thoughts?

I don't think it can if the coin that you are supporting is developing and being adopted, Bitcoin is also moving forward and being adopted ten times the number of investors of Cardano, it's a good coin but not enough to overthrow Bitcoin.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook Coin gonna replace bitcoin? on: April 08, 2019, 10:01:52 PM

They haven't released anything about their intention to go on board the cryptocurrency, yours is just pure speculation, and assumption although i like the idea of Facebook coin airdropping 10-20% to their billions of users, but they first educate their users about cryptocurrency first.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 04, 2019, 11:37:52 AM
As compared to the Q1 of 2018, Q1 of 2019 saw a dramatic decrease in amount of investment done on ICOs. The amount collected by ICOs has been decreased by 58 times as compared to previous year.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-icos-raised-118-million-in-q1-2019-over-58-times-less-than-in-q1-2018/amp

Edit - It's not just 5100% but is 5800%

It will go up even more as there will be no investors to invest in these coming ICO, investors want a safer project to invest where they can expect results, and they have found this to IEO that is why they are so popular now, in fact, they are the trending topic here in Bitcointalk.
3025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty hunting be considered a job?? on: April 03, 2019, 01:24:33 AM
So I was in a telegram chat .... and I saw quite a lot of hunters bashing at btcltcdiger (Bounty manager at csbounty) .... because he said bounty hunting isn't a job... on my opinion.. I think he's right.. Bounty hunting shouldn't be considered as a job.. because

1: payment isn't guaranteed
2: bounty hunting is more of luck than skill
3: it could turn out too be a total waste of time at any moment
4: I don't know what country most bounty hunters are from.. but where I'm from.. I can't survive a week with just $100 bounty reward..

So why would people consider this as a job?? Too me it's more of a hobby than a job

What's your thought on this?? PLS NO INSULTS

It's all about picking the right project, I made a fortune when I picked the right project and rewarded handsomely, it's a job for me, I worked like a professional and delivered what was asked of me, it's actually much better than 8 to 5 job, it's worth of 5 months salary getting rewards from a right campaign.
3026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: April 03, 2019, 01:00:12 AM
In my opinion, it's not fair and if the campaign will state that they are going to lock their token for bounty hunters, no bounty hunters will join the campaign, it's like deceiving them for their hard-earned rewards, I don't trust Project that does this for bounty hunters.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 01, 2019, 01:02:23 PM
I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?

They could last longer than ICO, it's more secured and safe for investors, no need to wait for months to get listed, its profitable for everybody, but it still comes down to the platform and its development, the worst thing is trying to hype a pump and dump coin.
3028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IronX - scam ? on: April 01, 2019, 12:23:43 PM
They claimed to have raised $26m during the ICO yet zero trading liquidity on the IRX/USD trading pair.
Definitely a SCAM... Binance doesn't start like that. You must inject at least $1m for the exchange liquidity to start working.
Without injecting few millions in liquidity that means you don't trust your own project, then who do you expect to invest, huh? lol

Inject a million from the raised funds during the ICO or the IRONX would end up among the list of failed projects.

You have a point I think they are aware of the existing thread now accusing them of scam, they have no plan of listing their token to other exchange, which is quite surprising, they should it will add volume and awareness of the token, or they should do a lot of marketing they are not achieving anything.
3029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: March 31, 2019, 01:43:07 PM
Investors and bounty hunters are mostly required to undergo KYC while the team behind the project itself are not known. And they scam people. I suggest the team should first pass a "KYC" test and publish it on their website before investors and hunters are also made to do same. What do you also think?

then we need a site or an independent company that will do that for us, Icobench and other rating sites already have this kind of features but we should not trust them they are working for their own profit, we should have an independent one for investors and bounty hunters.
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Efficient exchange? on: March 31, 2019, 01:19:13 PM
I want to ask, according to your experience of the many existing cryptocurrency exchanges. Which is the cheapest? And fast in transactions. Please give your opinion here. Thank you so much for all.

I recommend Kucoin, the fee is not that high but you will like its security and how they handle issues and other concerns from their support, these are two features that you want to see in an exchange and of course I'd like to mention they do have a profit sharing so the more you trade the more bonus coins you'll get.
3031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Now You Can Earn Rewards by ‘LIKING’ Any Post - Thanks To Blockchain on: March 30, 2019, 03:20:09 AM
It looks like a duplicate of past coins or existing project that does the same thing or had this kind of features also, I hope they are not going to do an ICO I prefer an airdrop for this although I'm not a fan of airdrops I can make an exception for this coin.
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is manipulating social networks on: March 28, 2019, 11:40:41 PM
XRP was caught manipulating the social networks with fake accounts to shill XRP coin and post false positive feedbacks about it. On Twitter were many fake accounts detected and deleted for their abuse to maximize the price of XRP in an illegal and shady way. At least 8,000 Twitter fake accounts were detected.
Another bad attempt from XRP and a red flag to avoid investments in XRP.

More information here:

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/infamous-crypto-twitter-xrp-army-gets-called-out-for-fake-accounts-astroturfing-public-opinion/

This could be the reason, why they wrestled the second spot to Ethereum, well at least contributed, they have no running bounty campaign right now, they should at least have one because there is a possibility that they will lose their third position, because EOS and LITECOIN is getting good volumes maybe if coinmarketcap is not faking their volume XRP is not in that position after all.

3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies this is for you on: March 27, 2019, 11:15:53 AM
I admire your persistence and patience, it's not easy to work on faucets and airdrops just to accumulate coins that have potential in the future, you're an inspiration, but that's what newbies do, but after you learned a lot here, you should make a transition from trading, bounty hunting or offering services, you cannot stay doing faucets for long.
3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA a SCAM? Wasted 6 weeks working for Vanta without payment on: March 27, 2019, 10:56:47 AM
I spent 6 weeks working on a project called VANTA and finally end up without a payment. I started working on VANTA since from the 1st week to the final and yet I got no payment. After we started working for VANTA 3 weeks in, the Bounty manager comes out with a new rule saying, everyone must trade 2308 VNT on Allbit for 10 consecutive days, if not, no payment. If there was that rule from the beginning many would not join the campaign. It's funny to see how this kind of projects conspire with the bounty managers and work away with our tokens every day. I was previously scammed in projects such as HDAC, Envion, REGA, GIZER, Confido, EOSex, and now VANTA. I started thinking now is time say enough for that.

Note: I even traded VNT on Allbit for about 3-4 days and I stopped because I was busy working on other projects as well.
By the way, I'm a proud bounty hunter, not a trader and ain't trading for nobody Cool trading is different from the bounty hunting.
For VANTA, if you think stealing our tokens (for not trading 10 days) is good, add them to your supply and surpass bitcoin in market cap.

So guys, what is your take on VANTA, A scam or not?
For me, any project that is not legit enough to pay the bounty hunters is not worth investing.

This should go to the scam accusation.

This is definitely a scam, they cant force anyone to trade for 10 consecutive days for their coin. That is a RED FLAG. I guess don't do any bounty projects anymore.

I'm surprised that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=228301 btcltcdigger is the bounty manager of this campaign he is my bounty manager in many campaign that I've participated in and always received my stakes you should a thread in scam section so you will have a proper forum forum for this.
3036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is right for investment?? on: March 26, 2019, 10:08:08 PM
How do you choose altcoin in the current conditions, when you want to invest in cryptocurrency? Do you see the price or popularity? Share your suggestions and I will appreciate it. Thank you for your comments, success is always for us all.

Ar the current market condition, I'm looking on the platform and how active the developers in interacting with their investors and followers, this is very important I have seen a lot of tokens/coin being neglected after the ICO or after it hit the exchange.
3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto space must be sanitized on: March 26, 2019, 10:52:58 AM
We are in a system where so many ICOs come in to attract investors. Some end up succeeding, while a larger percentage either fail or end up being scam.
Yes, we are operating in a decentralized system, where individuals are in full control of their assets. Yet, a decentralized system can still be controlled under a trusted body, when it comes to lunching an ICO.
Yes, every developer has the right to lunch an ICO and we have ICO listing sites. Since most of these sites have compromised in their listing, why don't we have a trusted body, that would volunteer, without collecting any charges, at least to sanitize and purge the system of scam ICOs.
Every developer that registers with them should be questioned and be ensured to have good integrity.
Then investors will have the confidence to invest into any of the projects.
Well, this may not outrightly nullify other ICOs from lunching independently.
This is just a suggestion.
Views, comments and contributions are welcomed.

You mean another rating sites to rate this incoming and ongoing ICO, never mind they contributed to this mess, rating sites are paid promotional arm of these ICO's and I don't want to see another one because they can be bribed the temptation is so high.
3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: March 25, 2019, 01:49:34 PM
Analized my experience in cryptocurrency since 2014 year I made a conclusion that PoW mining is less profitable than just buying coins ever. With several exclusions that just confirmed the rule.
So what is your experience?
Cons and pros of both methods to make money in cryptoworld?

Now I prefer holding coins, PoS mining and other methods without noisy and hot hardware

I prefer buying and holding tokens, it's not that it's complicated because of lack of time maintaining a mining rig, you have to keep your mining rig full attention in case there is a power failure or to check if the coin continues  to mine, not for a busy like me.
3039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: March 25, 2019, 01:43:34 PM
I haven't verified my account and I think I'm not going to verify it soon, I'm not a big fan of KYC the risk is too high for a small amount I don't want to regret something I've done in the past, even if the one asking is a reputable site or company it's still a no to me.
3040  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: March 24, 2019, 03:38:20 PM
I am adding these Tradesatoshi scammers to my Scam Alert signature

Nice move this is good for people's awareness, this should be stopped, there are still good exchange out there, I only trade once in tradesatoshi and I notice the exchange lack activity, I just knew they will do a scam exit because they are being beaten by the competition.
