3043  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo fees is too high. on: January 30, 2018, 04:27:26 PM
I do not find this, when I want to send bitcoin there are only 2 cost options that is standard and priority, and I think Xapo cost is still reasonable, if we send bitcoin in large quantity then better and safer to use fee higher than low fee but need long time.
Xapo is still reasonable for those people that has a lot of bitcoins to hold and enjoying their other service not only for being a wallet. What's good news now is that the fees base on https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ are now down to 200 sats/byte.
Based on their fees page, the standard fee is around 10k satoshi ($1+) and the high priority is around 35k satoshi ($3.7). I do not think it is so high, it is normal IMO. If we compare it with https://bitcoinfees.info then xapo is a bit cheaper.
You should check their latest fees first here https://in.xapo.com/fees/
$1 per transaction at standard priority is an affordable one while with high priority its high at $35.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet.com is big scam on: January 30, 2018, 04:14:11 PM
Sorry but we all knew it that MEW (myetherwallet.com) isn't a scam. What happened to you is you have clicked a bait and you fall to their trapped and your information has been phished by hackers. Its' your fault that you have lost your funds, everyone is aware that there are too many fake and copy cat of MEW that are existing out there. And besides have you ever read the reminder of MEW on their website? That don't get phished.
3045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ChangeNow is legit? on: January 30, 2018, 03:56:59 PM
I'm not familiar with it but I've read someone here in forum that suggested that site and says that it's a legit one. Since I can't share any experience of mine there because I haven't used them, this is their account in forum ChangeNOW and this is their service ANN thread [EXCHANGE]💰ChangeNOW: anonymous | limitless | 0.5% fee 💰 still I haven't found that much experience by reading their history.
3046  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: January 30, 2018, 03:41:19 PM
Can anyone here know how many merit can I use in one day?  or even based on your rank?
You will not rank up anymore unless you'll get the right amount of merit for your ranking up to senior member which is 250. Activity isn't the only requirement you'll need to rank up so even you'll have 240 activity but you haven't reached 250 merit, you will remain full member.
Cause there's a lot of bitcoiner/message that I want to send merit because of good sense of post. Just giving merit to those who are worthy to have.
That's fine that you'll give merit to those people who are worthy of it and you'll do it right. There are more tips found in this thread.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns on: January 30, 2018, 01:32:23 PM
There are many bounties launching every day but the problem is choosing is very difficult today, because some companies are scamming the people after they raise some amount of money without paying anything to the people. So we have to be very careful in choosing a bounty.
True, don't be fooled by those ICO's that are only going to give you false hope with your bounties after they held a successful ICO.
You can look it up at altcoin> bounties. there are so many ico ico that you can choose to be bounty campign by you.
There are also bounty campaigns at Marketplace>Services and they are paying not only those expected bounties but plus bitcoin payment.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Rating of bounty managers on: January 30, 2018, 01:10:22 PM
Although I think it is a great idea, but in fairness there are not many known bounty managers. If you follow to forum for a bit and see the projects and all you'll be familiar with the good ones.  Grin
I haven't found any thread about ratings of bounty managers but I have found a thread that lists different campaign manager and you can found it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2842283.0
And base on my stay here in the forum, the most experienced and the best managers IMHO are yahoo62278, Lutpin and Lauda. They have their own portfolio and threads that shows their pasts campaigns, just do the searching of it here in forum.
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: how do you know the best digital exchange on: January 29, 2018, 01:21:25 PM
Bittrex
Bittrex is having a slow system today. Before I'm treating it as the best exchange but things are different today, I don't treat them the best now.
Binance,
This is the new exchange that is best for me but I don't know on how long it will stay in my own list to be the best exchange of all.
exchange in my country there is only one yes that vipbitcoin there can buy and sell altcoin can be traded with currency in my country
Every country does have their own pride of local exchanges so that's good that you have a choice in your country.
3050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: January 29, 2018, 01:05:21 PM
If find People buy have bonus!i think like this Almost is not real good coin
Those bonuses are way to attract more investors to buy and join the ICO. Legit ones does have those bonuses and also a fake one will offer the same thing.
For me, I think the whitepaper is the best place to check if the company is really something that is valuable it really true to its promise. Scam are just promising high return and it will drop hard for sure.
Whitepaper is still not enough to know if an ICO is scam. But there are some hints when you have read everything on whitepaper still its hard to identify if a coin is just a scam but with the help of the concerned citizen in the community, we can bust them out.
3051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: January 29, 2018, 12:38:51 PM
Hi, i have a question for my gambler's buddies as i'm perplexed by this. I have a friend who really wishes to gamble, but he is not allowed to because his uncle lost his entire assets and some million's and his grandfather to lost another million or so (they're filthy rich).
So they are rich enough and doesn't want to lose more with gambling? They don't want your buddy to gamble, why they mind it if its not their money, is your friend that old enough or still a young lad?
So due to this facts he is barred from gambling, they believe he'll loose money to, they're stopping him on past incidents and i'm really tired of explaining them they're wrong, what do you'll think,
Don't protect your buddy or explain anything to his family, you are out of the family circle so don't try to interfere with their decision. Help your friend to understand why his relatives are talking that way because they don't want history repeat itself.
anyone else faces such issues?
I'm not in this situation.
3052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign questions. on: January 29, 2018, 12:05:29 PM
Hi guys! So I recently joined a few Twitter campaign/bounties and I'm just wondering if they're worth it?
They are all worth if they are paying + the project is really good.
And does it pay good or do they really pay you?
Make sure that you join only those campaigns that has secured funds.
I'm just a bit worried since this is actually my first time doing these things and I don't want to waste my time participating and in the end I don't get paid at all. Maybe you have some tips for me? Tips maybe to make me more efficient in these Twitter campaigns or how to know if these campaigns are legit or not. Anything will do really, and I would really appreciate your help if you give me some.
Don't join if you feel something suspicious about the campaign and the manager itself.
What is running right now? Any suggestions of twitter promotions of coins where you have to retweet or something like that?
There are many of it here, Bounties (Altcoins).
3053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: January 29, 2018, 11:40:37 AM
Where and how would you invest 1m dollars?
I'll diversify this, not fully investing in crypto only but a big portion for it. I'll put some in real estate, stock market, government bonds and insurance. I'll start also making my additional mining rig.
What coins will you buy? Or will Huh
Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, XMR, those coins that has good volumes.
you just put them in Bank? Huh Wink
I,myself will be my own bank. I don't want the bank to profit with that big money but I'll still use them for safe keeping but I won't put all of it there.
3054  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japanese exchange Coincheck has been hacked on: January 29, 2018, 10:37:54 AM
I start to wonder how could a high security exchange site be hacked? Aint it an inside job? or maybe they team was behind it and just blame hackers for that certain matter to make the public confusd?. Well we dont know the real story until it is investigated but NEM on other exchange sites i think would drop or will also lock the address. Because where would they sell it if all exchange would canel their NEM account?
Their hot wallet has been compromised and hackers gain access to it. No one can tell on how they are hacked and coincheck will never tell a single word on how it all happened.
There we go again, one more Mt. Gox On the brighter site this will scare lot of newbies, which is probably good for them as they'd not do any research prior to their investment.
This is bigger than the Mt. Gox hack and this is considered as one of the biggest cyber heist.
Coincheck says it will compensate everyone who has had a loss.
Good for their traders to still trust them but the feeling of that big loss for the company is painful.
3055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Japanese exchange Coincheck has been hacked on: January 27, 2018, 01:20:43 PM
The other alternative to spending a lot on security is getting insurance against hacking. So far only Coinbase have done this.
They should take time and invest to insurance to give an assurance that they are safe, this makes a win-win situation not only for an exchange but as well as to the traders. For the folks out there that are into keeping their funds on such exchange, this is why you should never put large amount on any of them.
So far the only exchange that hasn't been hacked is Kraken
I hope they will not be on the news and became a new victim.
3056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launching Token without ICO on: January 27, 2018, 12:57:31 PM
Or is this not an issue?
This is not an issue if you believe that name matters, no it doesn't count although there are tokens that has attracting names but the development is what's the most important thing.
Is there cases of two tokens existing with the same name?
I haven't seen that there are the same names that are existing, look at bitcoin it has a lot of forked coins and the same goes with ETH.
Focus on what you are planning and just do the rebranding if someone gets the name of your planned token name.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance safe to store cryptos? on: January 27, 2018, 12:22:43 PM
Hello , which of course the account in binance will be safe.
it will be fine and there is no influence in my opinion
Your account is safe but we can't tell if binance will be hacked and all funds are transferred to someone that we don't really recognize. Crypto's are our financial wealth so you don't store that much in their place but doing trades there is good but if you have coins that you have decided for long term hold then there's no use to let it stay there. Use nano ledger s for safety reasons, no matter how safe an exchange and legit is still don't trust that much.
3058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betballer.com - Online Sportsbook & Casino on: January 27, 2018, 11:55:02 AM
After so long inactivity with no updates then you come here to inform the community that your are going to close? Is this really because you lost financial backing? Sounds strange if you say betballer was a top tier destination for sports gambler but you lost your financial backing.
I saw they posted it on their website last week so they might have been announcing it there for months. But this is why you just don't start a gambling website without secured funds of operation. This is how you are declaring bankruptcy in an elegant way.
Good thing is that you are letting your players to cashout before the closing.
If no requirements sent, they won't allow a cashout.
3059  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitsler support team has become more arrogant on: January 26, 2018, 11:53:07 AM
After 2 posts, OP never replied. I don't usually play with bitsler but when you think that you are being attacked or you are not being handled well by the customer support you have the right to complain and call their manager to fix things out. But with this complain, this ain't a serious one.
I'd suggest that you better attached some screenshots here regarding your conversation with bitsler's support and let the community decide as to whether or not they are being arrogant these days.
He can't even provide one for us to believe his claims.
3060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading websites on: January 26, 2018, 11:26:34 AM
Each trading websites does have that feature that you can do altcoin to altcoin trade. Like in binance, they have BNB markets / BTC markets / ETH markets and USDT markets.
BNB markets --> altcoins/bitcoin to binance coin
BTC markets --> altcoins to bitcoin
ETH markets --> altcoins/bitcoin to ETH
USDT markets --> altcoins/bitcoin to USDT
