Powerful laptop for mining? yes it's powerful but it can't sustain the heat that mining will produce through your machine. It's not an advisable idea to mine with your laptop. If you want to mine, invest to another rig and build a machine that's dedicated for mining. Go for GPU mining but if you don't have budget for that, you can sell that laptop and start your own farm with that profit. You are lessening the life of your laptop by mining with any coin with that.
Mining on a laptop? Guys, this is not serious. On a maxim laptop, you can run wallets with a POS. or run masternodes. And then for these purposes it is better to use the rented VPS. It is serious that there are people like OP asking to mine with their laptops. That's a good alternative for those wants to earn with their laptop by taking up coins on PoS. If you want to just get coins, sell old laptops and buy direct!
Much better, less hassle and maintenance.

It's safe in a way that it's Binance but for the risk you're taking with them, there's no guarantee that you're going to make profit if you don't know when to sell/buy. The platform itself is safe but again your money is at risk of losing if your attitude is just to depend on it wholly. Take it as an example that you have lost with BTT tokens so next time that you'd be investing into it, make sure that you will start taking some profits whenever the market goes high for that token that you invested to their platform.

All what Mike Novogratz will say is base on the fact that he can see for bitcoin. He's known a bitcoin bull so he'd say that things positively and encouraging for bitcoin. Litecoin price surged and I missed buying the dip when it's just around $30, people wouldn't care about the opinion of these experts when it comes to profit taking.

Wow, you really are going on full blast with your speakers. Do you mind to give details on how many attendees already purchased their tickets?
Thank you for your support. Yes, over 1000 tickets have been sold so far, and that number is increasing. Did you get yours yet? Are you coming? That's a lot of attendees, actually I would love to go there but my schedule is tentative so I can't be sure. Hmmm, that's a shame! Hopefully some time will open up and you'll be able to attend! It's going to be a great event Yep, I'll follow majority of your summits and if there will be an available time for me to get along with you guys, I'll do it without any notice.

Thanks for finding it out, a lot of phishing sites that are trying to imitate the whole forum's(SMF) theme. Although for most, we used to check the URL if it's a correct one, there's still some people who are new to the forum that doesn't care much about the URL but just looks at the theme of the forum and they are the ones who are prone to this kind of phishing site.
Even when one is browsing and tired. You can easily be fooled by the website. That's why i prefer searching using the forum's search button but sometimes it disappoints and over delays. Other times it brings up some server time out error Bookmarking the forum and other websites that you regularly visit will save you from these phishing links.

I am not planning to pursue mining with my laptop.
Good call, it's not really worth it to use lappy's for mining whether they are called 'gaming laptops' or the powerful ones. It isn't capable on what the usual miner / GPU does. You can be a jack of all trades (miner and trader) but if I'm on your shoe, I'll pursue trading.

Those apps probably contains some malware that will allow the devs to checkout the whole usage of the people that will have it installed on their phones it isn't only those information that they gather but they are also trying to fetch crypto walletsfrom that phone to be monitored. I really think that it is one of the cause why many have been reporting hacks, they aren't oriented of those apps that they install. Most of these apps that tells they mine are just showing simulation of mining.

Eoy We might see ETH at atleast 2000 usd and next year it will make a parabolic move to perhaps the fresh ATH This Halving for bitcoin is going to make all top 50 coins X20 or X30 $2000 looks high for me but I would like to see that in reality. Without any doubt, I'm sure that the reuslt of bitcoin halving can give that significant domino effect for the cryptocurrency market. People are also rushing for Litecoin's, checking it out if this may affect the market a bit since it's also one of the top coins. It is also pair with bitcoin with many exchanges so it may give or not that effect that we are mostly expecting. I can't wait to see ETH fly high again.

Maybe that guy bought ETH in very early days, probably during ICO. If there is "Buy Bitcoin" Lambo's. There's also Buy ETH Porsche. With all of those links, can anyone just explain what are those links for in a brief manner? I'm kind of outdated and been off discussing with ethereum for awhile and isn't aware of the activities there. ethereum is indeed very legendary, and you know that until now ethereum continues to be the strongest altcoin, some people hope for this revival of ethereum in 2019, hopefully it can be realized quickly.
It doesn't need a revival, it just have to recover.

AFAIK, you post regularly with any boards without doing a spam. Yeah, could wait for OG since "active" is subjective.
For instance, 1 quality post a day is considered active? Or 9 posts from Mondays - Wednesdays and take a break for rest of the week?
When I was accepted, OgNasty gave certain rules about this, so if you are accepted he will give you that answer since I see tyz left the campaign. It is possible that he will open that slot for a new applicant.

We can't stop people comparing everything with anything like bitcoin to every payment methods. What most I see is about the transaction time, for those other payment methods the arrival of the money takes a couple of days while in bitcoin, it will just take you a couple of minutes. For the happy users who have experience with both payment methods, you can see on how it's ease to use and saves a lot of their precious time when receiving or sending money.
Especially transaction time and amount comparisation is completely wrong. These are not same. We can't compare with Apple and Banana. They are fruits but not same! What can we expect from most? no one can stop an individual from comparing bitcoin to any other payment methods. What if they were tired of the long transaction time because they need money more than the transaction time that they have to wait? yes, they were different but that's just it and the reality can't be crampled and it depends on you if you will embrace it or not. Nothing wrong with these comparisons as it shows on who are the supporters and how their experiences went.

Not a bad list of top 5 in the article. I think to make a list of top-5 shittiest exchanges will be more difficult - too many candidates, lol I would start the list of shittiest exchanges with: 1. Tradesatoshi... So many issues and this last scandal, when users lost access to their funds: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118992There's a lot of complains that I've read lately about Tradesatoshi though I haven't used them personally but that urged me to avoid them. If I have read a bad review regarding an exchange and it's not an acceptable reason, it's fair to say that just stay away from them and avoid them at all cost. Binance seems to be the most popular and most used exchange so far, I'd like to get along with those people that are saying that it's a good one because it's a fact.

Maybe relatively successful. It is not that Dogecoin is globally accepted and adopted by the majority of people.
You aren't probably happy with the adoption that Dogecoin is reaching. It's one of the most favorite coin of majority and though it's also one of the funniest coin, still the popularity of it increases. Bitcoin is the globally accepted and adopted by majority but look on how many exchanges dogecoin can be traded. I can consider that as a success for a coin to be listed almost everywhere and when you ask an altcoiner, he's probably aware of what dogecoin is and he probably has.
