2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 15, 2019, 05:20:48 AM
And for the adoption of Amazon accepting crypto's including Bitcoin and Ethereum, it's still a rumor that has never happened.
By now, it maybe a rumour.
Nevertheless, never say never in crypto.
It has been a rumor since few years ago, I think around 2016 was that year when people has thought of it. But there's no validation that they really are going to adopt crypto and it's a very great thought if they will somewhere in the future.
More than 10 days ago, no one think of new digital asset like bitcoin can entirely change the world.
In fact, Bitcoin actually changed the world.
So, the current strategy of Amazon might change in the next five or ten years.
Do you mean ten years ago? I have that belief too that Amazon will have to think of something new like adopting crypto just to gain more exposure for their customers, yes who knows what lies around for the next five to ten years.
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Service Would You Prefer? on: February 15, 2019, 04:47:53 AM
I guess exchanger means a person that you will direct use to exchange your funds.
I.e
Bitcoin to USD / vice versa.
I prefer to use both, why? if I'm satisfied with the service of the exchange that I use, why I should look for another exchange or any exchanger? But there are instances that I have to use an exchanger(person) when someone asks to deal me with or if he has a better current rate.

good point of view
Would you mind to give your own point of view about the choices?
Frankly, I don't think that there's too much difference between them but it's just about on how you are very satisfied with any of them.

Lol yes, also this was first time I came across this news so I got quite excited seeing word Ethereum and Amazon together.
It's okay, headlines aren't really giving the exact content of the news but in summary it's a good adoption of the technology itself.
This is not important so maybe that's the reason why I did not know about this.
What people are speculating is the Amazon will begin accepting BTC or ETH as a payment method, I think this is a bigger news if this will be happen.
Until now I'm still not losing my hope of this happening although knowing it's just a speculation, people would never speculate if there's no possibility.
It's not important? no, this kind of news is important but it's kind of old enough so the noise was done for this kind of adoption. And for the adoption of Amazon accepting crypto's including Bitcoin and Ethereum, it's still a rumor that has never happened.
2245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people or percentage has held at least 50 or 100 btc at one point? on: February 14, 2019, 10:29:06 AM
I do not know, but I bought over 250 bitcoin several years ago when it was about $250 and then got a free amount of free bitcoin cash in August
You may not be a whale but you hold a lot of it right now and the price seems good. I think you're a dolphin in terms of ranking the people in the community on how many you are holding. Including the bitcoin forks (BCH and others) if you sold some of it during the all time high days on December 2017, you have earned pretty good.
The simplest answer is there is no way to know for sure. Smiley
Yep, even creating a survey won't do.
2246  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think that crypto exchanges are dead? on: February 13, 2019, 10:50:09 PM
If you’re talking about lack of funds, that’s not a problem for exchanges that has been around for long. Only those that are new can have such a problem. That’s why I don’t go for new exchanges.
I don't also prefer to take some moments to visit or experience trading with those low volume exchanges. I don't want to experience some problems that usually happens for those new exchanges and what we see today, many of them keeps on operating and launching new exchange. They believed, they are better than the existing ones though some of those old and existing exchange also experience problems but if they are new and has some problems from the beginning like for example with funds, they won't survive in the long run.
Old exchange already gained trust from traders who used their service, they can easily work with experienced investors and can manage to solve
issues that was raised while the trading are onset, that's the big differences between old and new exchange, traders who doesn't like to encounter
issues will prefer to use old exchange that they already knew how to play inside, the rules inside can easily practice while in those new one they need
to work out to learn more about.

Old exchange stand still as market for crypto still growing, they are into this business and they are ready to adopt and cater investors and traders needs.
And it's why we should don't take a gamble with the new exchange, it's okay to try them, test them and look if they have a good feature but trusting them mostly with your funds to trade with, I don't think it's a good idea for new exchanges. Just to have no mess and headache, I'll stay with the old ones. I just learned from those past experiences of others that we should take those new exchanges seriously unless they really are serious with what they do.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/apuee4/amazon_is_soon_adding_ethereum_as_a_managed/

Any idea what was this about? Did any of you heard about it before?
As the discussion comments there, it's quite old news. It's about the technology that amazon would be using under the influence of Ethereum. It doesn't mean that they will be using Ethereum or accept it as payment but the technology is the one that they will be start adopting. This was an old news but still a good one to read, what's your concern with it? Did you thought that it's about the acceptance of Ethereum by amazon and misled by the headline?
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 12, 2019, 10:59:43 AM
the eth price will reach $200 very soon , i don't think it is impossible .

we had a red market and the market is green and rising up
Someone says that it is impossible probably haven't seen the past price of Ethereum. It has reached $1,400 before but let's be realistic with the current market condition. $200 is really achievable and like I said it's just a matter of time. We need to wait until the market stabilizes and there's already enough adoption to trigger the bull run again. Red or green, what we see right now is that the market starts to become stable but we need more of this until the end of the year up to next upcoming years.

2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 11, 2019, 08:13:20 PM
This is great news. Big Thanks to fisheater for creating the coin and for his support! Nice to see an active dev and appreciate your hard work. Thanks
Wait, Am I missing something about Dogecoin?
Why binance is important?  Dogecoin is already trading in more than 100 exchanges.  We can trade dogecoin there.
Binance is a popular exchange so every coin that's added there will experience tremendous additional to its volume. Yes, Dogecoin doesn't really need to get listed there but for other traders and investors it is going to be a big news if it ever does.
2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 11, 2019, 07:39:25 PM
LOL, $200 per ETH, it will blow my mind away.
Personally, Ethereum is hard to reach such a high price.
Nope, it's not really a high price. I bought few ETH at $500 and that's higher than $200 and in fact it has reached almost $170 which is very close to $200 so I don't consider that $200 is really a 'high price' that ethereum is unlikely to reach.
$200 is not something to be happy, we deserved to reach that price again after being down more than 10 times.
I wouldn't call that high also, I know we are going their and now that we have reach $120 already, I think the roll will continue.
Yep it's not that high at all. And just look always at the brighter side that things will be okay soon, I don't want to mention the rally again with XRP but it has drawn attention again. $120 currently is the support that we're seeing right now.
Never say never. Ethereum has not pleased us much in the past, in 2019 I believe that Ethereum will cross the border of $ 200. What we believe in, we end up with.
It definitely will, it's just a matter of time we need to be patient a little more.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 10, 2019, 11:56:36 PM
When will this event happen? Ethereum [ETH] – Constantinople and Petersburg Hard Forks to Activate on February 25th or 28th February (Most recent forecast)  Huh
I'm also confused but what I've read with articles, they are indicating that it will happen on February 28. Well it's just 3 days away so I wouldn't worry if it will happen by 25 or 28 of February.

2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore! on: February 10, 2019, 11:24:21 PM
not saying history will repeat itself, but so far it always did.
Most are depending to bitcoin and we're starting to see that the price are bumping and having a better position. I still have my BTX haven't sold it because I aim for a better position, I'm good with whatever consequence my decision is bringing me but BTX is different from the rest of the altcoins that I've known. Hoping to see that history would take the course that BTX has walked through before. Not aiming for the highest but potentially $2-$5 would be enough.
2254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 09, 2019, 02:13:33 AM
Hello everybody,  Grin Today the market is green again, will it last for a long time
No can do to have that accurate prediction if this increase will last for a long time but let's hope for the best that it will stay.
or just an atmosphere of comfort for a moment and then red?
It will turn to red soon so expect that.
How do you respond to the current atmosphere. Thank you for your attention. Wink
I'm happy and I do nothing but just watch the rally and see on where it will lead.
2255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bad Experience with Registration on: February 09, 2019, 01:25:00 AM
I experienced choosing the correct captcha which took me a couple of minutes and it kinda made me tired. But after the fix that theymos made, I don't have any issues with right now.
That was indeed a good solution. Thank you but you know the registration process took more than 20 minutes. I never experienced with such registration process. That's why it was a terrible experience for me. Some probably will give up too.
Sorry for the bad experience but you're welcome here in the forum so don't give up.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where i can find ANN, if it is not on Bitcointalk? on: February 08, 2019, 10:09:56 AM
I barely understand what you are asking. Let's shred this;
on the world is many ICO/STO + without ico/sto  blockchain projects, they are coming on network all month.

for example in singapore and in my country to, is many project, and they arenot on bitcointalk,  haw i can find them?
Does this means that you want to make an ANN thread for them? or you want to look for their ANN? if it's not found here in the forum then there's none. There are coins that doesn't go directly here in the forum and oblige of creating their ANN. It's because they can update things on their social media accounts/pages or website.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 08, 2019, 09:08:58 AM
In reality, Ethereum ecosystem has become the second largest in crypto, after Bitcoin's.
Correct. No matter how many claims have been said in the community on what's the second or next to bitcoin it would always be ethereum that comes to that position.
The year of 2018, has partially demonstrated the powerful and scale of Ethereum ecosystem.
The ETH ecosystem has increased its total liquidity dramatically last year.
And this what others don't notice, they usually check the price only but ignores this thing.
It seems that ethereum has begun to find the rhythm of the game. At least the ethereum this time is still stable and wants to continue to crawl up. A positive news for the ethereum holder.
It will pick up don't worry, we just have to give it a time.
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are most bounties managed by New accounts? on: February 07, 2019, 03:12:36 AM
They just want to manage their bounties on their own so that's why they purchase Copper membership which is cheaper than hiring a bounty manager / ANN moderator. Usually with a newbie bounty manager it's more prone to scam but I'm saying that when the manager is a newbie the bounty is a total scam. Some still remains to be legit and following the order of their roadmap by implementing such token distributions and other plans that's on their details.
2259  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hodl or Not on: February 07, 2019, 02:38:01 AM
The conversation got my interest of trying out the site. Everytime I typed in bitcoin, btc, it says "HODL", "have you considered hodling?" I remember of the same website before that gives a random thought about the coin that you'll ever going to type on that search box. But why for Dogecoin?  Cry
2260  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-1-27]Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Declares He Sold All His BTC Holdings on: February 06, 2019, 12:32:20 PM
Another FUD and recycled post. If you guys saw that they did sell their tokens in December then that is nothing news and we should move on.
The point is to make other investors feel bad for what he and others did. Posting this on the times of downness would give the remaining people a bad feeling and regret that they never sold during the all time high. Yes it might not be a news but these medias keeps on pushing the people to have that kind of feeling which leads them to sell so that they can buy more of it before the another bull run.
...
Making FUD aren't really gonna help in the situation of the market right now but i agree with you that these medias are making a story just to make money. Does this news owners doesn't care about of their reliability if they get caught making recycled or even fake stories?

If i were these weak-handed people, i would rather not go on the news but look the chart to see the difference of pump and dump. They will figure it out soon once they know that there is a manipulation.
It won't help if you're sole purpose is to make the market better. But for these folks that has large capacity and high capital to play with the market, they can do whatever they want such as pushing it for massive adoption or sending the community bad news or opinions regarding the current situation of bitcoin. We can't stop the weak handed people for buying such opinions as they admire Steve and other successful people and was known who made riches.
