2221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 24, 2019, 03:46:56 PM
There's nothing wrong predicting in the future, everyone does it and as long as you are not harming others with what you are saying there should be no problem at all. I'm against with what you said that you should only enter when you think there's a chance of taking profits. You are likely to miss the train if you will ever have that kind of mindset. Enthusiasts thought of profit too but there's no way to feel that you will have that chance of making profit.
It might cause falls into traps of FOMO, that in turn might result in dramatical losses.
Honestly, I have profits and losses in trading, and investment.
However, I always try to reduce the risks and maximize chances to take profits.
Of course, I can not do it perfectly, just try and learn from my mistakes over time.
For now, Ethereum has still been undervalued.  Smiley
We have the same experience but I wouldn't highlight my losses and profits as well because everyone is going through with the same thing. We broke and got in to $160 but there's a quick dump that made it lower again. Ethereum today is really undervalued, I'm not going to say that there are still investors who have been waiting for its rise. Those people who invested into it at the very time when Ethereum was hitting it's all time high and haven't sold after that.
2222  Economy / Economics / Re: One small step for Bitcoin one giant leap for Crypto on: February 24, 2019, 02:30:07 PM
There's a quick dump that happened just now.
Bitcoin from $4,160 fell to $3,916 real quick. I think bitcoin is still looking for a strong support and we can't tell if bitcoin has reached the bottom or it's still looking for it. Once we break, $4,500 soon same move is probable to happen.
2223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more new task or projects in bountyhunters.io on: February 23, 2019, 09:48:19 AM
If there's already a scam accusation to them, don't proceed anymore and forget about them. Wasting your time with those kind of bounty platforms isn't work for your efforts. Go at the bounties and check everything there, it's hard to look at these times but you shouldn't stay to only one platform.
They will not begin to recruit all projects, they need quality, so it’s better to look in other places or platforms!
Exactly, don't get yourself stuck with just one platform.

Halving will give strong impact next year but donvt expect that it will show up exactly after it. We have to be patient for that effect that we are waiting for, ETH's resistance has been strong and managed to survive the two digit period. Looking at the current period we had, keep on accumulating while we still see ETH below $150. It is moving slowly but surely by March I'm speculating that it will break $200.
we should not predict anything in the future, because we can be wrong.
Let's watch market movements, ups or downs. It does not matter for us.
We should watch it and choose right time to enter, and wait till another right time to take profit.
We can enter in both ups or downs, but only should enter it if we think having chance to take profits.
And, the entering point should give us as lowest risks as possible.

2225  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-19]Bitcoin Price Hits $4,000: Is this the Start of a Bull Run? on: February 23, 2019, 08:05:11 AM
Very early to celebrate and safe to assume that this is the start of the bull run. I wouldn't speculate that much and expect too much with the market now until we see such tremendous gains. We do become excited when see a pump but we shouldn't feel safe with that. For the short termers, this is a very good opportunity for them but for the long term holders, remain calm and let the market move on its own. The market has been very unpredictable and hard to say if we're in or not.

We don't have to be so excited what's happening in the market. But I would say, I'm happy what I'm seeing. Hopefully, this will continue. You are right, for those holders, just stay calm and enjoy the moment. And please don't create so much speculation threads.
Yes, we shouldn't be excited but it's okay to be happy. A rough year has pass and it's basically normal for anyone to think of something good because of this market. Wishing all the good things to come on this market and waiting for those moments until we see the rise stable as before. Remaining calm and watching the market is the best thing to do in such times, you don't have to be triggered and you just observe all things while you are preparing your next move.

True it took over a year market is doing well and i feel etf gonna be huge this time Lots of good news in pipeline
Everybody hopes for the ETF approval. I don't want to fully depend on it, there's more other related news to the market that's likely to pump the market. The hard fork/upgrade is one of it. I see that ETH struggles to enter $150, few more inches as I've been checking the price from time to time but it didn't went through. While bitcoin hit $4,000 for a while and went back quickly, both struggles to enter a higher level but we will be there as soon as the market's done to correct.
That's right Market has been struggling the bull run always has to go ahead with positive things and this bull run is real we have been on very solid stability to move forward the adoption has been strong always halving is also near  which will cut 12.5 bitcoins to merely 6.25

2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should we be expecting a bull run? on: February 21, 2019, 02:47:27 PM
Still we are not yet leaving the bear market. There's no clear vision that we finally get out of it however, there's a big signal that we are about to get out of it. Just don't be too sure that we will get into the bull run as expected, it may happen gradually. Once the market stabilizes, you'll see that most of the coins you held will pump because it's all due to the movement of bitcoin which we've been following since then. I can't wait the market to enter to the bull run soon.

This article explains some of the details, apparently there is another large transaction.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/02/21/ethereum-wallet-fees-eth/

However it looks like the block was mined by Sparkpool and not some anonymous miner, so it doesn't make sense why they would try and launder the funds.

No idea why people are saying that the block was only broadcasted when a private miner found a share and sent it to the network.
Woooot! This is higher than the case yesterday, the one that we talked about yesterday was 630 ETH in total fees. But today, this is ridiculous 2,100 ETH for the fees. Yeah base on SaturnNetwork, "that's money laundering.".
Market has turned from bearish to bullish Smiley
https://www.coinspeaker.com/crypto-samsung-s10-s10-ssnlf-stock/
I don't believe that it's all due to Samsung why the market is turning to green these days. However, I consider this kind of news as positive and is contributing to what we are right now, just my few sats.  Smiley

Anyone know what is going on with this particular guy sending small transactions with huge miner fees?
https://etherscan.io/address/0x587ecf600d304f831201c30ea0845118dd57516e

Basically looking at 2 transactions he made

https://etherscan.io/tx/0xcb59748b9b7b9732f04b66dde0009a1e4856a50ed8ff68a0dedbaa5e57807d31
and
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x5691ddae752652bd579da5b45e84d5b90ae35acce5cbd308a1574c31f722608f

He basically sent around 0.03 ETH and used a miner fee of $90K.

I understand making the mistake once but twice? Looks like Nanopool was the lucky pool.
I almost fell on my chair after looking at this one.
420 Ethereum for the first transaction fee.
210 Ethereum for the second transaction fee.
Anyone who has an idea on what happened next to the guy who did these transactions?
2232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is banning weapons such a good thing? on: February 20, 2019, 08:41:55 PM
Weapon is for responsible individuals only. We all know that we are using weapons for good purposes. It depends on the society on how laws are implemented regarding weapon handlings. Banning depends on the situation such as during elections and other events wherein security is a must.
It is why there's a licensing for those people that wanting to have it. But illegal use can't be stop, there are people that keeps on putting the law on their hands and don't even want to obey what does the rule of law says. If the crimes are heinous on specific place, it must be put on a state of emergency and that place should be isolated by this kind of ban. It's hard to depict what will be the potential result of it, there's always good and bad side of it.

I'm about to update by just looking at the thread and after reading those replies, well it's for iOS ATM.
As long as it does, it will appear on Android soon. [1]
Can't wait for that moment.
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore! on: February 19, 2019, 11:00:42 AM
What is the best exchange to use for trading Bitcore now that Cryptopia is down? Are there any reputable and high volume exchanges we can use?

Exrates ( https://exrates.me ) is the one with most BTX volume at the moment but don't know much about their reputation.

Anyway you can check here exchanges where BTX are traded at the moment : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcore/#markets

Hope this helps.
Yes, exrates has the most volume for the meantime. Do we have some news or rumors that Bitcore will be listed to another reputable exchange?
There's also hitbtc but of course mostly don't want to trade there so volume's kinda low and a lot of complains with their operations and withdrawals.
2235  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-18] Tim Draper Predicts Crypto Will Rule, Only Criminals Will Use Cash on: February 19, 2019, 10:13:46 AM
His prediction and statement is timely. We all knew it that in the future crypto will rule and it's just getting started today. And what he is trying to do now is encouraging people and telling "get in" before that day comes.
Does he mean that in five years cash will be less traceable than cryptocurrency?
Cash is less traceable if it won't go through any bank or third party agencies. Sort of hand to hand cash payment.
2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 18, 2019, 05:48:40 AM
the eth is 134,11 USD (8,82%)  on coinmarketcap . we see the green market  and i think eth will reach $150 very soon

you will not buy eth with the lower price  $120 .
I have been patient enough to hold my ETH though I have bought it on expensive price but I never panicked. $150 is about to reach soon and I think it will happen once bitcoin goes $3,800 or so. Buying ETH now depends on how you are okay taking risk while the market pumps. But as we say, buy low and sell high. While ETH moves high, it's your take if you will start buying while it rises but if your take is long term on ETH, you will buy and won't short.
2237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: February 18, 2019, 04:53:47 AM
Why you have no bitcoin on your portfolio? Everyone's portfolio should contain bitcoin, it's a must and one of the best strategy when you are into crypto market. If you're just holder, then that's better but if you seem to be an active trader and you are focusing with those altcoins that has active movement on a daily basis choose the ones that has the highest volume. I wish you luck with that portfolio if ever something goes wrong with those coins, create a plan and start sticking with bitcoin.
2238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Service Would You Prefer? on: February 16, 2019, 05:55:51 PM
I guess exchanger means a person that you will direct use to exchange your funds.
I.e
Bitcoin to USD / vice versa.
I prefer to use both, why? if I'm satisfied with the service of the exchange that I use, why I should look for another exchange or any exchanger? But there are instances that I have to use an exchanger(person) when someone asks to deal me with or if he has a better current rate.

good point of view
Would you mind to give your own point of view about the choices?
Frankly, I don't think that there's too much difference between them but it's just about on how you are very satisfied with any of them.
I think OP is just doing random posts here since he didn't mention anything related to what he had asked.

But exchanges are not really best for security but for converting huge amounts trading with personnel may not work so they have their own pros and cons.
I also thought of it but I'm still waiting for his reply on what's his point of view regarding this matter. If it is about the security of the exchanges, it is the choice you've wanted to use when you're going to convert using P2P or an exchange.
You can be contented with any of them or probably both as I mentioned earlier, using both is my preference.
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 16, 2019, 05:30:57 PM
Big technical evolution usually requires long period to invade into real life.
Let's look back at the Internet evolution.
Years after the bubble burst of dotcom, the Internet was actually changed the world.
I have the same belief on what's going on with blockchain technology on human civilization.
It has been a rumor since few years ago, I think around 2016 was that year when people has thought of it. But there's no validation that they really are going to adopt crypto and it's a very great thought if they will somewhere in the future.
Yeah that's also one great thought that we are the same with the great old internet early days. People don't believe on it and it has thought that it's not going to change the world but look at it right now. Internet is one of the most important thing now that the people needed. Companies won't operate if there's no internet and mostly people can't do their jobs and activities if there's none. The same goes for Ethereum, bitcoin and other most important crypto's.
2240  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-14]JPMorgan: Bitcoin Price is Now Lower Than Cost of Mining One BTC on: February 15, 2019, 06:01:01 AM
I'm not a miner but do they understand that electricty from each other aren't the same? It can be more expensive to them as they conclude that mining cost is lower up to this date but it can be cheaper in some other countries. And also, is the JP Morgan still that interesting? are they doing this to gain more exposure for the coin that they recently launched?
