3081  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 19, 2018, 12:04:44 PM
Newbies in cryptocurrency should read this encouragement. This is what they need to see and read other holders opinion on what to do during the dips so instead of panic selling they will just calmly hold their bitcoins. But for now, they had to learn from that mistake of panic selling and take this dip in a positive way where you can buy a lot of altcoins but mostly with bitcoin in a discounted moment.

I felt panicked only on the first day. However, after that just relax. I do not need to worry about declining bitcoin price, because my goal of investing in bitcoin is to see bitcoin above $25K. Whenever the time, I will survive to hold it.
You are tempt to sell because you are monitoring the price when its going down.

They can't act responsible in bitcoin trades because they chase quick profit that will come from coins instantly. They make panic selling on the exchangers by reducing the price. Just pitty for them.
It's either they are newbie or they can't control their emotions. It's not about they chase quick profit but it's about they can't take it while seeing their bitcoins to reduce in terms of value. Most of the knowledge that I've gathered about holding, enduring the corrections and don't panic sell came from this forum and no one did ever told it to me IRL. I don't pity them but it will be lesson learned later on when they started to see bitcoin breaking a price wall on $20,000.

Any guarantee for their wallet to not be empty for months again?
from what I've heard, sometimes the wallet will be empty for months and that's the reason why Fatanut added a red asterisk on Yobit Campaign
I think red asterisk should stay until it can be guaranteed that the wallet will be regulary filled, who knows if the wallet will be empty again next month

I would agree with this. They should make regular payments on time for several months before the red asterisk is considered for removal.

This is on point, that red asterisk is still considering that campaign doesn't guarantee that payment will be regular and it's hot wallet will always be filled. I think it's fine if it will remain on red asterisk and if you guys are paid by them then there's no need to worry on yobit's participants part right?

They always are choking when it comes to the final quarter I don't know if this is a curse or what.

Kardashian Curse lol.
Hahaha I don't know if that's for real but that's funny to read someone say that.

Speaking of that curse, there are reports that the guy involved will be placed on trading list. Too bad that the organization is paying that much for this guy.
They are taking it seriously and that's the reason for putting that guy on trading list? I think that Cavs can recover their lost against Golden State Warriors with their game today against Orlando Magic. What can you say about that? Any Orlando Magic fan here?

3085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: January 18, 2018, 10:31:38 PM
Why you tend to change your orders in panic mode? I have experienced before when the market starts to shaken and what I did is I sold everything I had. I didn't listened to anyone that's saying "just hold" because I thought the price will never recover. And now I don't have some strategy or something to manage my emotions. What I do is just don't look at the price when it's too low and stick with what plan you had set like holding for long term.
3086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: January 18, 2018, 10:12:50 PM
That's too much $1,800 seriously? Bitcoin is starting to recover now and I don't think we will about to see that price soon at the end of 2018. Maybe you lack of two zeros at the end of those digits. That article tells about a wall st consultancy, I don't trust any of them. Most of them are bankers and you know what will they say about bitcoin? All of their statements and description about bitcoin is negative, they'll lose their business or if not they want to buy it at cheaper price.

Anyone who belives this, send me all the bitcoin you can and I will take it at $1,800
You're straight man but why your names a banker?  Grin
3087  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info stole my btc ?? on: January 18, 2018, 09:57:42 PM
Don't worry blockchain.info will not steal your bitcoins. The problem goes to poloniex, contact their support and probably they are still not sending it to you.

Don't worry, nothing has happened to your coins. There's no way your coins could be stolen by blockchain.info anyway. Using the same blockchain explorer, the transaction seems to be on record here:
https://blockchain.info/tx/2f794c8e6f0c7722e34545abae3956f0a07dfec1d2c420365ba5c83496700b75

Where the address 1Nj5DgQcRURVhJV6Rcnz4M7mRJzQgCz9MD has received the amount you specify. Confirmed 10 hours ago with 73 confirmations, so nothing for you to worry about.

This problem seems to be common enough for blockchain.info explorer, I've seen it a few times. Can't say exactly what it is except they must have a problem with node(s?) that isn't giving them updated information on the blockchain. The only thing to do now is wait patiently for them to fix it.
Nice finds, take buwaytress' suggestion that you just need to wait for awhile. Since it is already on the explorer and for sure that's your transaction and if it's not the fault of poloniex then it's because of blockchain.info. Later on, it will be credited to you anyway.
3088  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo mobile wallet on: January 17, 2018, 11:54:50 PM
Frankly I have uninstalled my xapo mobile wallet and I'm not using anymore my account there. But you can buy bitcoins with xapo and the thing is when you are about to send bitcoin to other wallets (non xapo wallet) you will see how much it costs just for you to send that payment. They are no longer free and it has been a long time since they started to increase the fee. What's good with them is that they have xapo wallet but it's limited on where you can use it.
3089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 17, 2018, 11:22:58 PM
trading is a very challenging job and also bring in huge profits. trading the same as an ordinary job. we must focus and continue to work with passion to get the desired results. trading is a normal job. we could be happy with being a traders.
If someone decided to make trading as his full time job, he will not get any stable profit. In the beginning it will be hard but lately he can make that much money when he is used to what he's doing. Trading isn't a normal job, you need a big patience so that you can come up with the most positive attitude when your trades are down unless you have some insider or signal on when to sell.

It will always be unpredictable if you aren't the one with the most trading skillful and can push the market down or up.
This is applicable to all inexperienced traders if they are not that skillful and they don't decide properly, they can probably loss all his capital.
3090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late, to invest? on: January 17, 2018, 06:38:02 PM
Price stays at $9,800 and it was seen to move at $10,000+. Imagine that bitcoin has went through $20,000 before and now it has been down with almost 50% from before so it's totally a good time to invest. You're not late and you are just in time to get more bitcoins. Wait for the futures to expire and that will result the price to skyrocket again so while it's still seen at $9k get in already.
3091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 17, 2018, 06:13:55 PM
LOL i guess losing Irving already decreased 1/2 power of Cavs even they got Thomas back.
No even with Irving they are having hard time when they are against to Golden State Warriors. And I'm happy to see that Irving was given a lot of space with his new team and that way he can show more and play like he's been set free from his cage.

Cavs are choking atm..
They always are choking when it comes to the final quarter I don't know if this is a curse or what.
3092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy some BTC? on: January 16, 2018, 10:33:36 PM
Go! It's a very good time to buy now. The price of many coins including bitcoin are in a bearish. And thinking that bitcoin was so close to $20,000 at the end of 2017 and now that it's 2018's half month of January the price started to be down closely to -50%. There will be more whales to come and will shop with the current price and I can say that after a week or two or let's assume on Feb there will be a good bull run.
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: January 16, 2018, 10:14:33 PM
It's hard to learn from your mistakes if you will not accept that you have done it wrong. The first thing that we must do is to accept that we lost and we did commit a mistake. If you are too rough and hard to accept those mistakes you've done, you'll find it hard to learn those lessons that you should learn already when you lose. I did learned from my gambling mistakes and one thing that I've learned is that don't be too greedy when you are in the casino.

The thing that I learned is to stop whenever I am ahead already because it is a great luck to win . Besides that I learned that it is almost impossible to be rich , we can probably win some money but to be rich we need to risk alot as well. Being greedy will only cause us to lose more that is a fact that we need to swallow when we gamble
It's not great luck to win when you're ahead already. You had won and that's it and if you ever learned to stop then congratulations to you for being an overcomer. But with the thing about becoming impossible to be rich in gambling, I don't agree on it. I'm not that rich and I'm not getting rich in gambling but I knew few people who had made enough fortune and money in gambling so I wouldn't say that it's impossible.
3094  Economy / Speculation / Re: $800-$4000 will be the bottom. on: January 16, 2018, 09:51:45 PM
$800 seriously? I think that's really low to see bitcoin getting back there.

I don't think I will get much sleep today.  Grin
You're not the only one that will get that much sleep for today. I've been checking the price every now then and this is what I get. Well at this time we can't do something but just to be calm, don't be tempt to sell and endure until the end. There will be some light on February or at the end of January.
3095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: January 16, 2018, 09:09:06 PM
Gambling is depends on luck only no need for experience it is not like trading where experience and updated knowledge highly recommended that is why i prefer to trade most of time than gambling .
It doesn't depends on luck only, if you think that it's no need for experience you are only playing those games that are mostly depending to luck. But if you'll stay on a casino and you are playing those mind games like poker and sports betting, you also need to have sometime to analyze the game and it's not only about luck but it's also depending on your strategy, way of thinking and decision making.

yeah right. there were also games that mainly depends on luck and wont require any skills or experience like for example bingo , hi lo , dice games ,etc. but also there were also games that needs a skill or experience in order for you to win the game like for example card games (e.g poker ) or sports games , etc. but overall gambling is still a gambling and luck is still required in order for you to own the game.
Those card games highly required some skills and experience but it's also good to be played by a newbie. When I was still new in gambling before I don't have that much experience nor skills when it comes to those card games. And I'm playing with those experienced card players and I can say that they have the advantage to bluff or scare those newbies when you are facing against them. For luck based games you had mentioned, yes there's no need for experience there.

3100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 12, 2018, 05:45:24 AM
no earning profit from gambling for long run is really impossible especially if you are gambling on the same site if you switch sites there is a chance that you remain profitable. Investing in gambling site is always profitable in the long for sure

Some gamblers are good with earning in gambling in the long run. Those who are used to lived with their lives and are depending with gambling. Also for those people that are in gambling investments, those are the ones who can make gambling as profitable source of income. But saying that gambling can be a profitable source of income in the long term this is a risky thing and it's only happening to a small percentage of gamblers.
I have knew a family before when I was young that really depends their life in gambling mostly in tong-its, a card game in my country, i don't how they made it but it does support therir children school but maybe it didn't last long since they decide to have a small store, so meaning long term gambling is quite impossible to happen especially if we depend our living in it.
It still depends on the gambling game of your choice. That game that the family you mentioned maybe aren't not that good enough to keep it or there's no more opponents to lose so their career to that game started to fade off. There are poker players up until now that are kicking and if you'll try to watch videos on youtube about the story of those gamblers that decided to dedicate their lives to gambling as a source of income or their job, some of them are successful today.
