Good morning Bitcoinland.

Consolidating sideways around $6.6k I see... currently $6585USD/$8407CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Total forkcoins (excluding BCH-ABC) are at $1538USD/$1960CAD (Coinmarketcap).

After yesterday's fine recovery, consolidation is good. Hopefully we'll continue upward soon.

It's clear what the "real" Bitcoin is. A big-blocker reaction after x2 cancellation was to be expected. Luckily it didn't last long.

Go Bitcoin go.

Back in the top dozen in all the listed currencies/exchanges.

Top ten tomorrow?

You don't buy BCH. That's silly.

It comes free just by holding your BTC.

Major Baghodler.

Proud of it.

It is unlikely that both Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Cash will survive long-term, unless one switches to a different PoW.

Bitcoincashgold?

 Undecided

I prefer one nice wide Bitcoin sofa to sprawl out on.
now I'm worried cus I'm on a BTC chaise longue

We could both do better. How about a Bitcoin litter borne by altcoiners?

I was too lazy to photoshop the faces of Jihan, Roger, Vitalik, etc. into the pic.

Yeah, what happened over the weekend was totally safe, no reason to worry at all. Let the others risk by putting their money where their mouth is, it's safer to sit on two chairs.

We've undergone bigger dumps and corrections this year already and we still always seem to wind up with another ATH.

As for two chairs, I prefer one nice wide Bitcoin sofa to sprawl out on.

 Cool

risking to break BTC by not dumping BCH in the face of the scammers trio is totally foolish.

IMHO thinking some silly little scamcoins will "break" Bitcoin is foolish.

I'm not going to rage dump my giftcoins just because I don't agree with their creators or the ideology behind them.

The only coins I ever mined or bought are real Satoshi bitcoins. They're still in their paper wallets. If someone wants to give me forkcoins, they'll be there too.

I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I'll also count them while assessing the value of my wallets.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4--z677590k

I see we're back up over $6.5k... currently $6520USD$8313CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Amazingly Altcash is somehow still clinging to quadruple digits at $1235USD/$1659CAD (Coinmarketcap).

Now we all have AltGold too? Lawl.
____

Edit:

Damn. I should have checked the price again before posting. It dropped below $6.5k while I was typing.

Can't bitch though. As long as the total of my Bitcoin and all my giftcoins is over $10kCAD, I'm happy.

I just have a personal computer with a GTX 1070. Not going to get rich. But what the hell.

I've got a GTX970 still in its box. I guess now that I've got my electric heat on anyway, I should get off my butt and install it in my old PC. It may not be fast but it has 6 full-length PCIe slots.

This is fun. I haven't mined since 2014 (2015?). It's like the good old days.

Let's see how fast the network grows. Early birds probably have an advantage.

And as a special bonus we all get a nice gift to start off.

BCH...

Pump and dump?

3137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2017, 08:46:45 AM
Damn. Just got home to see I just missed a prime buying opportunity.

Snooze (or party) you lose.

I did pick up some the last couple of days, but not that much.

What's amazing is how much my free AltCash earned. I'm glad I didn't panic or rage sell my AltCash.

Let's make one thing clear. I'm not a big-blocker and I'll back real Bitcoin until something better comes along, but free coins are free coins. I've never bought any altcoins but a freebie is a freebie and I won't dump out of spite for ideological reasons.

If the enemy wants to feed me, I'll eat.

See you all at $10k.
3138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 10, 2017, 04:30:29 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

We finally got something close to a buying opportunity, not a proper deep dip but possibly our last chance to buy under $7k.

I got in while it was just under $6.8k but didn't buy a lot. Now it's back up over $6.9K... currently $6928USD/$8783CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Meanwhile AltCash is on the rise... currently $812USD/$1029CAD (Coinmarketcap).

Now if Bitcoin can get back on track without AltTrash crashing to badly, dual holders will be sitting pretty.
3139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 08, 2017, 05:22:50 PM
Well good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we're hitting a new ATH as I type. I won't even quote a price yet but it cut through $7.6k and $7.7k like a knife through butter.

Go Bitcoin go.
3140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 07, 2017, 05:14:49 PM
I'm very not liking all this uncertainty around the fork/CME starting up. Everything I'm seeing suggests Segwit2x will have a small amount of miners, but people are talking doom.

I don't get it.

No doom from me. When I talk about a new pre-fork bottom I'm just anticipating the usual short-lived panic of weaklings and the reallocation of coins that were bought to be in on the fork.

I have no doubt that all my old paper wallets will increase in value.
