Good morning Bitcoinland. I see another little dip... currently $6715USD/$8840CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Back to where we were 3 weeks ago. No big deal, but some people here are whining like a bunch of vegetarians. We used to have a bot account that posted these literally every hour, on the hour.
‘ChartBuddy’
I can’t remember exactly why it stopped but I think it was managed by Adam or RichyT. Somebody like V8 will know what happened.
I miss it though.
It was Richy. He moved it to the other forum after a spat with Theymos as part of the block-size wars. I miss it too. It was my morning go-to for years.

Are you guys criminals?
No. Just wary of criminals like nosy governments and other corporations.

flip phone here
I like radios
I like computers
I know more about both than most people
I choose not to carry a radio networked computer with me every waking hour
Me too. No SIM card in my Android "phone", just in my flip phone. There's wifi just about everywhere now if I choose to connect.

Good morn Bitcoinland Seven one one seven bucks (Bitcoinaverage). I don't really care If Sunday Haikus are still In fashion or not. I think that they are Less boring than some of the Other crap in here. That would pair nicely with V8's black(non-black), 3/4 length(or some other length), over-sized, intimidation jacket. I thought it was an LGBT fashion statement.

I had coloscopy once, without any meds or narcotics. I certainly didn't enjoy it, but it also wasn't a very bad experience at all. A couple of kinda numb feeling pinch-like shoots of light to medium pain sensations, nothing that gets you worried. The "hose" is 10mm thin, so even thinner than an index finger. Get over your fears and get it done. Don't worry you might enjoy it, because you won't. Taking pills before coloscopy is something for the ladies (sorry ladies, no offense) EDIT: Just saw the dump. Unexpected, but not that of a surprise, too. #hodl on! Civilized colonoscopies are done with intravenous diazepam, inducing a dreamlike half sleep which allows you to watch the procedure on the monitor without any discomfort. You don't even feel the insertion. The worst part is the day before, evacuating your colon with a gallon of disgusting fruit-flavored laxative/electrolyte solution and shitting increasingly lighter-colored liquids until it's clear.

Solution: switch to linux
its own kind of hell I am also about to convert to linux. I was fine with win7. I liked it. It was doing alright. It had everything I would want from an operating system. Tried win10. Didn't like. One bit. Tried linux before but never used it for a long time. It has its own fuck ups I believe but nothing is perfect and I still believe it is better than w10. Hopefully I am not making a mistake. Win7 still works for me. Win8 and Win10 are both malware. Of course anything Apple absolutely sucks. When Win7 becomes unusable, I'll probably switch to some flavor of Linux. It has the big advantage of being open source so any Prism shenanigans will be exposed. How can you trust an OS that wants to "update" itself almost daily? Decentralized open source software is the way to go. _____ Speaking of which, when will we see an open source mobile OS to run on our ARM devices?

Good morning Bitcoinland. Trudging along sideways I see... currently $7381USD/$9725CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Ho freaking hum. Wow. There's a blast from the past. Is that old site still running? It's a reincarnation of the original Listen to Bitcoin site. It seems the guy who created it sold it and the new owner infected it with a trojan. It created quite a stir about 6 years ago. Needless to say, it was discussed here in the WO. https://blog.malwarebytes.com/cybercrime/2014/01/musical-bitcoin-bubbles-serve-java-applets-malware/The original owner revived it, malware-free, and changed the name to Bitlisten. Thanks for bringing back old memories.

Bitcoin this! Bitcoin that! Allright STOP! I don't wanna hear a word about bitcoin anymore!
Yep. There's altogether too much talk about Bitcoin around here. We all know it's not about Bitcoin. It's about blockchain. Bitcoin isn't real. There's no central office, no CEO, no website. It didn't even have an ICO like real cryptos. How can you trust anything that wasn't pre-mined by a real company? They shouldn't have called this Bitcointalk. It should be called Blockchaintalk.

I'm sorry to use HairyMaclairy's phrase but I cant even... That's not Jimbo. No #$*% way.
The guy who came closest was Blind Mayor Bitcorn whom I met IRL. Here's his take: He got it right with the full beard, Santa suit, tankard (presumably emptied of Guinness Extra Stout) and other bottles, baseball cap (Toronto Blue Jays) and electric bass. Remember when he was going through his statuette creation phase? I just had to save that one. Haven't seen him in a coon's age. Hope he's OK. He occasionally drops by the WO to say hi but its been a while. P.S. I seldom use ATMs anymore. I buy and sell almost exclusively OTC now at much lower (or no) fees.

The problem will be when they are all headed for the exit at once.. In other words, 19k will be a tough bone.. I think you're missing the point. Long term holders don't head for the exit. They keep their profits in Bitcoin. They spend their coins only when necessary, regardless of the price. It's traders who have an "exit strategy". They're the ones who "sell" their coins based on price, "profit-taking" in fiat currencies. Holders use Bitcoin as an investment rather than as a speculative means to acquire more fiat currencies.

Good morning Bitcoinland from chilly Toronto.
I see we're moving up again... currently $7795USD/$10365CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Let's keep this thing moving up. Go Bitcoin go.

Nice to be back in 5 digits CAD again
That 4 digit crap was annoying.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Last day in the jungle for now.
The price has been bouncing nicely... currently $7330USD/$9740CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Hopefully we'll be back up over $9k and maybe even see 5 digits by year's end. I'll probably have to sell some coin before I come back down in early January.
Go Bitcoin go.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're back up over $7k after a nice dip down to $6.5k.... currently $7220USD/$9605CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Another lovely buying opportunity missed because of being in the jungle. Oh well. Sigh.

Good morning Bitcoinland .
Another day another dip.... currently $6953USD/$9232CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
OMG We've dipped below 100% profit on the year. Oh noes. We haven't even doubled the value of our bitcoins.
The sky is falling. The sky is falling.

Good morning Bitcoinland from the Maya jungle of Quintana Roo.
Woke up this morning to a nasty red dildo erecting before my very eyes... currently. $7644USD/$10144CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
It went down almost to where it was a month ago.... pretty close to a double bottom.
Why does the price always seem to tank whenever I come down here?
Oh well. I'll be flying back up in a week. Hopefully the price will follow me.

Besides Boom/Bust or Chump/Champ when they stick me in the Nursing Home someday, I'll have great stories to tell. The currency of Nursing Homes is 'stories' and whatever happens BTC/Crypto has been a doozy! I 'member visiting nana at the nursing home, how they buzzed us in, and ran the magnetic sensors over us every visit. They were surprisingly strict about hugs and time limits too, I guess she liked the discipline, very old school that way, they don't make 'em like her anymore. She liked to tell us about the best recipes for homemade toilet wine, that takes me back, thanksgivings were always so much fun. She was more into cigarettes for currency though. Nursing homes? Ugh. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to need help Bitcoin will be worth enough for me to afford to hire and fire my own caregivers. I have no intention of being institutionalized. Cigarettes as currency? Sounds like jail.
