3161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: April 16, 2020, 05:09:35 AM
Upvote on the ambiance. It's one of the things that defeat online gambling by quite a mile imo. Naturally being legal should be one thing, but having a nice ambiance should be another. I kind of hate those gambling casinos that have a competitive ambiance in the air, it's kind of suffocating. Having a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere once in a while is quite nice imo. Though it changes after quite some time cause of the competitive nature of some people affecting the others in the casino.

I also voted for that I once invited to a gambling casinos for high rollers and you are right the ambiance is great, there are a lot of freebies and people looks rich and respected here, but you need big funds to play on this kind of gambling casinos, compare to online casinos you can go and bet for minimum amount.
3162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boogle Coin, Are they Google? Lets Discuss. on: April 15, 2020, 04:13:23 PM

Any TM lawyers around? How can a company set up a search engine with such a similar name with offical offices in SG, and NOT get sued? This a trick id like to know about.

That's really weird they should be sued for imitation, but I guess they are not that popular and it does not yet under Google management radar, so we still don't know if they are going to sue it but they do come out in the Google search engine, honestly i am, not aware of this project and they are traded on exchanges with bad reputation like LATOKEN.
3163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum prices can tremendously shoot upwards thanks to Reddit. on: April 15, 2020, 03:04:41 PM
Reddit is often billed as the front page of the internet, and if you have ever visited it then you’ll know that it’s true as millions browse it daily. Now the good news for Reddit users is that they’re planning to launch a new point based system involving Ethereum, which means that millions of Reddit users will suddenly adopt Ethereum coin and due to the sudden adoption it’s prices will soar to the moon.

What do you’ll think about this move by Reddit, do you’ll too believe that it’s the perfect time to buy and hodl Ethereum? or you’ll feel one should wait for some more time and then buy it?.

Sources:

https://www.digitaltrends.com/web/what-is-reddit/

https://www.coindesk.com/reddit-may-use-ethereum-for-a-new-token-based-points-system

I support that, reddit is huge this could be one of the time that they can help the cause of one project and they are helping a project that deserves a big boost because Ethereum has proven it's worth in the industry, since day one, it changes the landscape of the industry, and they are the second most popular coin in the business.
3164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 15, 2020, 11:07:52 AM
It depends on the rules that were made from the beginning. Usually projects write "Bounty manager or admin has the right to do anything"
So we cannot blame them if they change the rules in the middle or the end.

I have experienced that so many times from no KYC to KYC now, projects that does this are deceitful and should be reported, but since they have the option to change the rules and they state it in their bounty thread, they can be considered safe from scam accusation, and this is the risk that bounty hunters have to face.
3165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 01:57:21 PM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, ~
This is old news, the hack happened a few days ago. The Bisq devs were able to fix the flaw and the exchange is already back in operation.
For those looking for the full story, here's the article https://www.coindesk.com/hacker-exploits-flaw-in-decentralized-exchange-bisq-to-steal-250k

~
is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
As long as there are hackers and there are flaws in an exchange system, funds will be stolen. Having a high security in place is a must for all exchanges but it is unlikely that hackers will be stopped all the time.

What happened to Bisq proves that even decentralized exchanges, whom most of us thought as more secure, are also prone to hacks. It's a lesson that we shouldn't trust DEX developers too much. It is encouraged that we also educate ourselves on how to read codes. No system is 100% safe.

That's true no system is really 100% sure and safe, and with this we should realize that exchange is not the right place to keep our coins even if the exchange is one of the top exchange in the industry, always remember not your key not your money, the most secured wallet is the one that you can secure.
3166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 14, 2020, 12:20:00 PM
Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.

Because people can imitate administrator of projects and they can deceive newbies and those who do not search diligently, compare to forum where people can give opinions, on telegram it's a one on one basis between scammers and newbies, that is why people should ignore people who message them in telegram unless they can present credibility.
3167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ripple’s XRP could reach $1 in 2020 ? on: April 13, 2020, 04:37:26 PM
It has been a wild ride for ripple so far this year, with the price dipping to $0.26 and then quickly regaining to $0.29. This comeback has analystshitting Twitter to predict that  XRP may see the $1.00 mark by the end of 2020 and here is why: https://crypto-current.co/ripples-xrp-could-reach-1-2020/

Do you think XRP has the potential to hit $1.00 by the end of 2020?

Right now all predictions are immaterial as long as we have this pandemic, this $1 is immaterial because everything depends on the containment of this virus, if we have the vaccine and all infected are cured and this virus is totally wipe out then we can make predictions based on the project, not now that the world is suffering from pandemic.
3168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ONE (Harmony) good to invest on: April 13, 2020, 02:57:49 AM
hi guys what do u think about ONE (Harmony) good to invest ?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/harmony/
do u think it can hit 500 sat like MATIC ?  Grin

Checking I am not aware of this coin but one of the big concern is the supply, the supply is one of the thing that stop the coin from reaching a good price in the market and if there is no big demands on the coin I don't think it will reach 500 sats but good for short term profit because of the coin's very low price.
3169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: April 12, 2020, 11:29:25 AM
I don't think buying every drop is a good strategy. because sometimes coins decrease in small amounts. it's better to wait until the coin drops by 10%. then just buy. investing or trading cryptocurrency is not easy because the price fluctuations are very high. we must learn a lot and also be good at speculation. and also must always observe the state of the crypto market whether we are in a down or up trend.

As long as you are buying a good coin that always fights back whether the market is in good or bad condition, you are still ok and good to go, everytime the market is down I always rely on the top coins in the market, because I always think long term, we are going to get over this pandemic and the market will be better more than ever.
3170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: April 12, 2020, 09:50:09 AM
There is no doubt that bounty detective team has huge community and currently they are managing lot of bounties it's all shows that they are getting popular and the team is also doing additional improvements in their bounties I remember they didn't add signature campaign in their previous bounties but now they are adding signature campaign, it indicates that in future they will provide bounties with proper improvements.

Some ICO bounty managers had bad reputation because some of the bounties they represents or handle delayed or did not distributed the coins they managed by the developers, if anyone of the bounty they handle right now do the same they too will lose their reputation I hope those projects they managed turn out to be good projects.
3171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin will never fall? on: April 12, 2020, 08:05:35 AM
First: Bitcoin survives thanks to mining.
Second: Bitcoin has already been through falls and several bearish trends. This is a very persistent asset. Its system is designed in such a way that rate corrections and other adverse market conditions will not pose a threat to the existence of Bitcoin.
Third: it is very banal, but it is used by a very large number of people working with cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is like a dollar, only in the cryptocurrency world, well, it is worth an order of magnitude higher)
Well, another thing that can be said is that they invest in it and sell it and buy it. And this keeps the market going
Of course, this is all very superficial, but you should not worry that it will start to fall heavily at some point (although I think that when it falls heavily and then there will be a strong jump)

I support your statement, and this is by far the biggest challenge Bitcoin is facing, there's no big crisis like this because there's not a pandemic for the last 100 years, and it's very surprising that Bitcoin is still bouncing back, after this  all small obstacles will be overcome.
3172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: April 12, 2020, 07:32:42 AM
After seven months or more, they still have the same theme or script they still have one local section the Russian forum, people are still requesting a notification of their deleted posts for transparency and they are still asking for more local boards, unfortunately all request are turn down, and I don't think they will grant their request.
3173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: New project new coin on: April 12, 2020, 06:41:58 AM
Covgrow is a blockchain-based open source crowdfunding platform. Unlike other virtual worlds and social networks. Covgrow is not controlled by a centralized organization. There is no single agent with the power to modify the rules of the system. Covgrow use Covcoin, an ERC20 token based on the Ethereum technology.

3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: April 12, 2020, 02:21:36 AM
I tried it back when BAT was out and all the ads were supposed to be earning money but I never saw any ads anyway so not sure if it ever would have worked because of my location (typical that Asia locations aren't giving out money for ads). I return to Firefox mainly or Chrome, but usually this still depends on the computer I use as I don't have my own.

Those ads are country targeted I am also using Brave browser and only getting 3 to 4 ads a week sometimes nothing and my earning is only 10 cents for a month, it's not something that you can rely if you want to get BAT it's better to write articles and rate article on Publish0X if you want to earn some BAT.
3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starting point projects. Are they worth the hype? on: April 11, 2020, 06:17:11 AM
Do not hype any new projects because you can never tell how they will end up, new projects are too tricky this days, the least ones you don't expect to survive can be the successful project among others

I wouldn't at this point of time, it's no use to hype any coin because people are to busy meet their needs, so many countries are in lock down, which means no job no work no salary no income, so instead of investing they will try to meet their needs, there will be a time that we can all come back to the market, although the market looks good now.
3176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Make your donation against COVID-19 on: April 08, 2020, 10:23:21 AM
I don't know your exchange, you mentioned that it was founded 2013 but after seven years why they are unheard of on the industry, you need to fully market your exchange they are not listed in coingecko, about your donation I prefer donating here in my country because this is one of the badly hit by pandemic and we are a third world country.
3177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much has the lock-down due to the pandemic been able to benefit you? on: April 06, 2020, 02:46:09 PM

However, I would like to use this opportunity to show my sincere concern for those who are already affected by the pandemic, I wish you all quick recovery. One thing I want you to know is that there is nothing without a beginning that does not have an end. There will surely be an end to COVID-19 soon.

Honestly it did not benefit me at all, I cannot go to my work, so many things that you want to do outside but you cannot, we are all at home it's a positive thing that we as family can get together, but in terms of being productive you really cannot, there's no benefit from this pandemic, we all want this thing over as soon as possible.
3178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not fall for this Fake Coinbase Scam in Youtube right now on: April 06, 2020, 02:52:11 AM
I'm not a newbie in crypto and investing. I have been in the cryptosphere early 2017 when the price is ~$1k. But as time goes by, many social media services like Youtube and Twitter have been targeted by online crooks to scam many newbies. Just like what I have seen in the last couple of hours.

This is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJr9XtrFZUM

I would advise everyone that there's no shortcuts in earning BTC, either you invest or trade, no secrets whatever. And if you think that those crooks are giving away free BTC, then you are very wrong.
Why it takes for you three years to create an account here anyway you are right the new scam scheme right now are those coming from hacked Youtube channels where you will be given this amount of coins if you send them coins the amount of coins are very tempting and if you did not ask the community or any experts you are likely to fall.
3179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do i earn as a newbie on: April 05, 2020, 06:15:02 PM
Such a refreshing novel non-recurrent topic:

How To Earn From BitcoinTalk
How to earn from this forum?
How can I earn from this forum?
How do you make money of bitcointalk?
HOW TO EARN BTC HERE IN BITCOIN.ORG
A good advise for the beginners.
How to make money on bitcointalk?
<…>
The list goes on, but if you search for around, you’ll see lost of spinned questions and answers on the same topic.

This is a good list but I recommend to OP to first learn before trying to earn, you still have a very long way to go since you are a newbie, try to learn and contributor more and as you move on you will know how to make money and you can make your own method on how to make in Cryptocurrency, do not be to hurry to earn, it will come naturally.
3180  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 05, 2020, 11:33:02 AM
In our country it is expensive I don't mind the cost but i don't like the internet provider in my country limiting our bandwidth I got a higher plan with 25 MBPS but I am only getting 1 MBPS most of the time, these providers are abusing their customers they will give you higher bandwidth if you are a new client but as later on they will reduce your bandwidth.
