3801  Economy / Services / Re: Searching DEV for BTC Main fork on: August 06, 2019, 02:49:27 AM
how nice of you. another useless fork. yiha!
it 100% not useless. Its barely needed.

And when you would read correct it has all specifications of BTC.

If people will come here with the same idea as yours, then we will have hundreds of Bitcoin fork, we should stop launching ICO and let's just start forking Bitcoin, is that what you want, people hate Bitcoin fork and you want more of it, why not get a life first and stop hating Bitcoin.
3802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs Fury 2: The Rematch on: August 06, 2019, 02:08:30 AM
Is Wilder versus Fury 2 a go? I reckon negotiations for this might take longer because Tyson Fury joined a different organization.

However, the Anthony Joshua versus Andy Ruiz rematch negotiations is already being finalized.

Read in full https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-i-think-i-know-joshua-ruiz-rematch-heading--141467

But I still want to see both fighters go against each other again, that would be a blockbuster because honestly, that previous match could go either way, Fury can pour a lot of punch and Wilder rely heavily on his knock out power, it's something that should be resolved in their second match.
3803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: August 06, 2019, 01:37:07 AM
If there is a lottery outlet near us, then there is no use buying it online, but if you want to bet on a lottery located in another country, then this is a good option to use, some people are betting in a US-based lottery coming from another country, because the prize is 10 to 50 times bigger than what their local lottery is offering.
3805  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Legendary Member loan defaulted 0.04 BTC (Razerglass) on: August 04, 2019, 05:19:21 PM
That's unfortunate that the loan value is now doubled the amount, that's one of the risks of getting a loan, but it's much riskier for lender because it's his loss from this transaction, the guy can continue to post here but I doubt any campaign will accept him if he is tagged by DT1

This forum is the best place to be when it comes to the latest updates about Cryptocurrency, everything is all here and starts here, I wonder what will the Bitcoin community, without Bitcointalk, I hope it stays this way open, liberal and decentralized.
3808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 04, 2019, 10:57:40 AM
So I've been wondering a lot time now why some people choose to play lottery which is made in such a way that it's statistically impossible to win and not any other game that gives about 49% chance to win? In online crypto-gambling there are a lot of such services.

Personally I'd advice against gambling overall (ye I know I wear a gambling signature at the moment!) but if someone insists on playing something without thinking or using skills, then why not buy a random stock? That'd give them 50% chance to win and with some research they could increase this chance.

I found this nice video a day ago, it tells the truth about lotteries in a funny way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PSWTDhHGt4

A very good point is made at 2:55 about the probabilities
Also at 4:07 they lottery in comparison with gambling and stock market in a funny way... "we take away all the skill of blackjack or poker just to make sure we have the best chance of getting your money"! Cheesy

Great video but I don't think those who are an addict in a lottery will give in, some of my friends I've known have won the lower prize and I tell you, you have to kill them for them to stop betting, they are not going to stop, and of course those poor people whose only salvation is hitting the jackpot even if they don't have a chance to win.
3809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Energi breaks into Top 50 on CMC on: August 04, 2019, 10:13:04 AM
Interesting coin, I don't know about this coin, but congratulations for reaching the 50th spots in Coinmarketcap, it's not an easy task so many new coins are having a hard time reaching that spot because of the current market condition, will look in this coin and maybe invest on this, now that we are in a bull run.
3810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: August 04, 2019, 07:28:43 AM
I'm surprised there are so many posts here about asking the best altcoins to hold, but here it is asking what shitcoins to hold, he doesn't need to ask anymore he just need to look on coinmarketcap, those coins without volume and 0 prices in the market, and besides people are dumping their shitcoins in the market.
3811  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: August 04, 2019, 07:26:12 AM
As per Google search these are the top 3 richest person of this world.
Quote
1.Jeff Bezos — $108.9 billion
2.Bill Gates — $91.9 billion
3.Warren Buffett — $90.1 billion

But these maybe wrong since in this world there are lot of blackmoney is available which were not recorded by any governments.

In my opinion the politicians from the third world countries can be in the richest persons because they were stealing all their country's taxes.

That's true and history can prove that we have seen so many dictators in the past amassing riches and plundering their countries wealth, they are good at it hiding their wealth because they control everything in their nation, the military, the business the senate and congress.
3812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why did you choose altcoin? on: August 04, 2019, 06:16:16 AM
why did you choose altcoin?

in my opinion like this.
because altcoin is an alternative coin other than bitcoin, other than that the price is cheap and can be affordable by anyone. In this cryptoqurrency market there are many altcoins, but not all of them have great potential for future investment.
and what we need to consider is how the team develops their project, if the team can develop the project well or according to the road map they tend to produce good results too.
and altcoin are potential, usually they have big users, their trading volume is always increasing and has also been registered in the crypto or CoinMarcetcap market.

what about your views?

Bitcoin is enough for a peer to peer transactions, a new coin coming should have some platform or services that the token would revolve around, without a platform, it will become a pump and dump coin, we have so many new tokens right now for payment or peer to peer we don't need more

3813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: August 04, 2019, 02:35:14 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.

Why are you asking if you want to quit when you post that you are already in a good bounty campaign, your post is very contradictory, if you want to quit then quit, it seems you just want to promote the bounty campaign that you are in and maybe you are part of the team also.
3814  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the current tax status of crypto-currency in the USA? on: August 02, 2019, 09:05:02 AM
Is crypto-currency actually taxable in the USA?

It is confusing for me to figure the tax issue out. If a person buys Bitcoin and then sends it all around the place, uses it for trading on multiple exchanges, makes thousands of trades, then buys coins like BNB for trading more, then sends portions of coins to wallets and back and forth.

How can that be traced? Even with block chain ledger, it seems impossible to trace that much activity.
How many people are washing their coins to make them untraceable?
How can the IRS determine and verify who owns coins?

Are they going to tax people who lose money from crypto-currency?

Does anybody else think it is confusing?

I find it confusing they state that they are going to serve it to over 10,000 US cryptocurrency investors but how are they going to track each and every trade, they can only track those trades on a centralized exchange, but not possible if a user will trade his coins in a decentralized exchange, and of course we also have a peer to peer transactions, that leaves them a lot of loads.
3815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 02, 2019, 07:15:15 AM
I think Manny is unconsciously preparing for their rematch, he is getting more new boxers with good credential so he can eclipse his losses to Mayweather, and it's only a matter of time before Mayweather agreed to fight Manny, because he must prove that his win is not a fluke.
3816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 02, 2019, 06:04:41 AM
I think this forum has lot of regular gambler so I am interested to know how much they ever spend as highest bet amount in very single bet.
My biggest bet is on a basketball ending here in our place I bet $40 already a big amount for that kind of betting people only bet an equivalent of $ 1 here but I bet  $40 on 3 numbers, I made that bet because I am coming from a poker win and would like to extend my winning through betting in a basketball game.
3817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling affect your overall lifestyle? on: August 01, 2019, 03:29:06 AM
Of course, there is an impact, you cannot go on having a great lifestyle buying all the things that you want and at the same time losing a lot of money from gambling, and you can buy all you want to travel to a place you've dreamed of if you won a big amount of money, it does have an impact.
3818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the current situation on the market? on: July 31, 2019, 10:39:17 PM
I believe the market will keep on growing, old coins will still perform above average but new coins will have a hard time getting good support in the market, some of the new coins now don't have the concept and the innovation that old coins are developing or have now.
3819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: July 31, 2019, 10:02:17 PM
Because the cryptocurrency situation is currently not the same as before. So I want to ask all of you in here, so that I don't lose money in investing. Which do you think is better, buy when ico / ieo / tokensale and get a bonus or buy when it is listed in the public exchange/market at a low price? I personally prefer to participate in the tokensale but see the current situation, when a token / coin list in the market is cheap, this makes me very confused to invest. How about you? Can you share your mind and help me out my confused

With the current situation of the market, it's better to buy the token when it hit the market, there's always a wave of a dump when it hit the market, you could be buying a new token that is 90% of the ICO price, and you will not have to wait for months to see the token in the exchange.
3820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaign After Getting Listed on: July 31, 2019, 09:36:58 PM
I notice that some coins that are already in the market are doing bounty campaign again like Credits, Veil Eterbase and among others, do you think it's important for a coins/tokens that are already listed to run a bounty campaign from time to time even if they are already listed in exchanges.

Definitely, that's a good idea and all tokens should still continue to do promotion, there are a lot of investors looking for a new and old  token to promote, and they are going to get the awareness if they launch a new campaign for their token.
