3701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will bounce back to $600 or back below $100 ? on: September 06, 2019, 05:53:48 AM
Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

Ethereum is still good and I don't see it going back below the $100 level, at this present market condition, but I don't see it reaching $600 this year, they are struggling on their price, people are putting their trust in Ethereum 2.0 to redeem Ethereum's price, if you are an investors who wants add to your portfolio Eth is still a good choice.
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: September 06, 2019, 05:41:51 AM
Its not surprising that Anthony Joshua is ahead of Andy Ruiz even when Andy Ruiz won the last fight. Many are still thinking he just got lucky on the last fight but I watched it over and over again, Andy Ruiz can stand toe to toe, it just happened the Anthony Joshua got rocked and Andy Ruiz followed up.

Odds from Nitrogensports
Anthony Joshua -308
Andy Ruiz +244

Great odds for Andy Ruiz and I think that would not change because despite AJ lose in the past fight, people still think he can come back and beat this fat guy, actually I think the looks and built of Andy Ruiz is what people are looking and he got disrespected on that.

The line now is what people's perception on the coming fight, so it's obvious that people believes the Andy Ruiz was just lucky in the last fight.

he was lucky if he caught Joshua and knock him out in one punch we can call that one-punch wonder, just like what happened in the Douglas Tyson fight, but he was outboxed and out punch and he cannot take the punch that he needs to save himself and give up, of course he can go back and had a chance to win but Ruiz is one big puncher also and he can take Joshua's punch.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Akon talks about bitcoin and his own coin on: September 06, 2019, 05:03:20 AM
Akon, popular personality who is known to the world through his songs and music now opens about the needs of bitcoin and briefs more about it on an interview to the Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM. That's really interesting to watch his interview where he gives clear answers with comparison to the dollar. Here's the link to the video https://youtu.be/HERTlVMd1QI

He's praised a king by African people. He has turned himself to be an entrepreneur, and he'll do good to Africa with cryptocurrency which might enrich the usage and adoption of bitcoin. Even now there is good acceptance for bitcoin in Africa, and what he has initiated through his own coin could make more popular people get into cryptocurrency network.

I think he planned it long ago, I'm not saying it's good or bad but it's another free money creation on the internet by a celebrity, there are a lot of coins named after a celebrity, but they are not managed by a celebrity where they are named and they are all gone, Akon, if he wants to make it successful, should have a concept and can keep it up for long term, the competition is very hard compared two years ago
3704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 06, 2019, 04:37:53 AM

China really provide good offers to the Philippines. But it does not mean they will interfere in the country's business especially on online gambling. Yes China is powerful yet they should restrict their power to their own and not on how a country run online business.

I'm damn sure you just get the wrong information here. Of all countries in the world China has not interfere any country at all even the Hongkong which were somehow part of them. They still respect the independence of Hongkong due to agreements between them and Britain. If they are going to interfere to any country they would have to start with US to which they know they have dominate in terms of finance.

They cannot do that to the US in fact they've gave warning to China about interference
https://news.abs-cbn.com/overseas/06/01/19/us-warns-china-on-behavior-towards-its-asian-neighbors

They may have advanced in finance but it's impossible to for China to interfere with US affairs, in fact, they do the opposite they are the one who can interfere to any region's affair and history can prove that
3705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 06, 2019, 04:09:14 AM
Hey.
Is it safe to exchange big amounts on non-custodial exchangers like changelly or shapeshift, or are they designed for small transactions?
I'm a newbie and I want to know if it's safe. Also, I want to know if it's safe to exchange crypto on classical exchanges like binance.

There's a lot of accusations about Changelly, on the scam sections better check it, you might encounter problems, and I don't recommend exchanging big amount right away if you have not yet done an exchange on that exchange, you should only try a small amount, and research for reviews.
3706  Other / Meta / Re: ANN threads shouldn't be self-moderated on: September 05, 2019, 09:30:46 PM
Every day, some new ANN threads are created in the forum. Many of these ANN threads are self-moderated. In my opinion, posting self-moderated topics shouldn't be allowed on "Announcements (Altcoins)".
In most cases, they make the topics self-moderated to be able to delete any post complaining them. Instead of deleting the posts, they should report the posts and posts are deleted only by moderators.
I know there are many spams in these topics. They can be only allowed to delete the posts that are made by newbies.

I agree on you they are quick to delete negative posters in their thread, because investors may find out that they are running a dubious project, they even hire bumpers and shillers, I never trust announcement thread created by newbies that are moderated, this could mean they are hiding something.
3707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 05, 2019, 12:37:30 PM
What do you guys think about China urges to ban all online gambling in Philippines?. One of their reason is that "The embassy said many of the Chinese citizens working illegally in Philippine casinos or POGOs and other forms of gambling entities are subjected to what media described as modern slavery due to severe limitation of their personal freedom and also Beijing welcomed the suspension of the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).

I think they should ban it, so these Chinese will not come to the Philippines and work as online gambling operators, there are so many of them now in the Philippines and some of them are working illegally, the immigrations cannot cope with the numbers they just keep coming and worse of all they are bribing authorities, they even bully the local people here.
3708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 05, 2019, 12:08:39 PM
You're not alone on this, people are expecting for a big rebound but unfortunately, it did not come, now people are still waiting for another all-time high that should have come but it's not coming, part of  being a good investor is to know when to buy and also when to sell your coin, timing is indeed everything.
3709  Other / Off-topic / Re: Danger!! on: September 05, 2019, 04:18:44 AM
In other words, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Not only that he should not fall to programs that offer a high return of investment, But Cryptocurrency has also become a playground of scammers and many kinds and forms of investment, so do not believe in everything that comes your way, analyze it and do your own research and always diversify.
3710  Other / Meta / Re: ANN threads shouldn't be self-moderated on: September 05, 2019, 02:17:48 AM
It will only make a lot more work for moderators.
I proposed earlier that Brand New and Newbie account should not be even allowed to create new Topics (they can still create posts),
BUT if that is to drastic for many people, then Newbies should NOT be allowed to create Self-moderated Topics
multiple also

I agree with this one, newbies are the one that's creating new ICO announcement thread and they want it moderated so no one can post negative feedback on their project, I believe ICO or new announcement should be unmoderated so people can judge and can give a fair opinion about the project.
3711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Bitcoin price increases suddenly. What will happen? on: September 05, 2019, 02:04:20 AM
If Bitcoin price increases suddenly.
Does this change encourage buyers to consider investing in Crypto solutions like ICO platform or Exchange Software Development for their Business?

Bitcoin prices always increase from time to time but ICO is getting worse, and there are a lot of new exchanges coming from ICO and majority of them are failed project, so no I don't think so, ICO and exchange platform are not attractive anymore to investors.
3712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minter - just a normal Shitcoin or a Scamcoin? on: September 04, 2019, 12:18:36 PM
I have contacted Minter support team. They've sent me this link with team members:
https://github.com/orgs/MinterTeam/people

if these are the real people behind Minter, then why in the world they are using anime or cartoons people might think this is a big joke, if you are doing crowdfunding, then it's just proper that you show up your real face and their expertise, it will be ok if they are not asking for KYC or Crowdfunding, they can prefer to not show their face.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 04, 2019, 11:42:05 AM
Majority of the people are going for Porter, and they have a good reason because Spence is a cool fighter who knows how to get the job done, Spence is so good at fighting aggressive and short fighters like Porter, so I think Spence will have a small advantage and will win by a unanimous decision.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 04, 2019, 10:20:22 AM
Soccer is not popular here in our country, but boxing is, so I believe boxing has many gamblers here in our country especially if there are big fights that are going to happen, another popular sport here in our country is basketball, but since we have the phenomenal Pacquiao boxing is now considered a popular sport here.
3715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 04, 2019, 01:06:24 AM
I have tried martingale several times in the past and sometimes I'm still doing it, it's very tempting to do it, but in order to win in martingale, you should have a variation of it, not only to chase your losses, I will create a thread about this explaining the method I've used and see if other gamblers are also implementing this.

3717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: September 03, 2019, 04:42:25 AM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

You did not mention if you turn on the security features of your account, all exchange has that feature to verify that you are the owner of that account, if you fail to do that, then it's your fault why your account was hacked, you can ask the exchange for an investigation to see the country and IP of the hacker but that doesn't guaranty that you will be compensated, better check the rules of the exchange.
3718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens you promoted and invested down 90% on: September 02, 2019, 11:20:54 AM
I just received some of the tokens I've promoted in the bounty campaign, some of these coins reach their soft cap or able to generate funds in their ICO stages but I was disappointed seeing all these coins down 90% or no buy order at all when it hit the market.

And to think some of them included in their promotion that they will not let the price go down in their ICO price, do you think it's still worth investing in ICO if there is no uncertainty that you will a make a profit, or is it because Bitcoin dominance left no room for new coins to grow in the market?

These developers do not have control on the price of their token of it entered in the exchange or market unless they have  buy support on their roadmap or whitepaper, but all good coins have a dump history before they eventually regain their price, and investors make profit, it's the reality now that investors should accept.

Happy trading !
I am glad to see the news. Many people talk about when I will enter IDAX XCT. And finally they include it. Many people are waiting. Hopefully the results will be good

This is the first day of the trading and so far it is not performing pretty well https://p2pb2b.io/trade/XCT_ETH but what can you expect from a lowly exchange like this, price is 90% down I hope when it list in IDAX.PRO we can see a good price hopefully at least half of its ICO price, I hater to see investors on a good project like this.
3720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 29, 2019, 03:05:39 PM
Is there a demand out there for the coins/tokens that companies and startup are churning out every day?

The market for initial coin offerings (ICOs) looks like its basically dead, is it likely going to resurrect again? What we see is that market players are spending much of their time focused on finding new ways to deploy new supply of tokens, but not focusing much on long term drivers of demand. However, there are natural limits to the market's ability to absorb an endless supply of tokens, there is a limit to how quickly we can push supply into an increasingly saturated market.

Do you think the ICO is really dead?
If not, where is the market headed?

There are still ICO ongoing and fewer coming up, it's not yet dead but it will soon, maybe next year totally all ICO will be ignored and there will be no ICO anymore, it happens because there are a lot of options to invest now, so the project should choose IEO as their crowdfunding platform  because ICO is now useless.
