3681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 12, 2019, 10:54:24 PM
I don't know the percentage but I'm sure the percentage of people coming in and the volume is considerably high, there are coins dedicated to gambling and there are a lot of ICO in the past and right now, that is gambling dedicated, this will continue because gambling is a multi-million dollar industry.
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 12, 2019, 04:00:04 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

I stopped believing in what's on the spreadsheet and what is the price of the tokens I'm promoting because you will be disappointed if you calculate your earnings based on the spreadsheet, it's enough that I am promoting a legit project with good potential in the market.
It's not the earnings anymore, but the potential of the token that you are promoting is what matters now.
3683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: September 12, 2019, 03:35:49 PM
Kovalev is done, he is way past his prime here. I was not impressed by his win against Yarde last August. Has still the same weakness from body shots. We all know that Canelo regularly throws body shot so I'm not seeing something special at Kovalev at this stage. Just his belt and I'm sure Canelo will win by either KO/TKO here.

So we could just say he is doing this for the money? Or he could be a hopeful boxer to revive his career despite the age. Canelo only lost one which was with Floyd and that it. I even think he won that fight. But its certain Canelo is the top fighter who beat the hell of the big names in boxing.

Lol, boxing is a business, of course everyone is doing it for the money. I'm not taking away from Kovalev, he has done great throughout his career. If you look at this contemporaries, Hopkins, Andre Ward, Jean Pascal they are all done in their career at this point. He is facing Canelo here, at this prime and has all the advantage against him. I advise everyone to watch the full fight, not just the highlights of the knock out of Yarde.

To be able to judge Kovalev or measure what he still can do is watch his last fight which is against Yarde I always believe that a boxer is good only on his last fight and he should only be judged by his last fight, he still has it, the move the power, Canelo is a great boxer and Kovalev is a very experienced fighter, we'll see how experienced will measure against youth this time.
3684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 12:47:26 PM
These Serbians has a lot of great shooters and they have a big giant, I think that giant also starred in the movie Parabellum, he is John Wicks's enemy in the library, anyway, the US is showing a lot of bad breaks, this game is going to go for the Serbians, totally outclassed.
3685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvesting on Bitcoin after losing on: September 12, 2019, 11:29:13 AM
Did any one of you lose money buying Bitcoin?

If yes, Did you again reinvest in Bitcoin after losing?

If yes, What need you reinvest your money on Bitcoin?

Yes, it happens to everyone you are buying Bitcoin in the bear market, you have bought it a particular only to find out that it fallen further after you bought, you thought the price where you bought it is already a floor price,

I still reinvest I still believe then the bull run will eventually come, but hard to make a decision since back then you really have no idea about the floor price.

3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: September 12, 2019, 02:07:43 AM
I think it is a bit more legit if an IEO is launch on bigger exchanges. Because they know that it can be very hard to enter big exchanges and convince them that your project is very useful and insight of having a very solid future to get funds using them. What's you opinion on this? Do you think there are other reasons if they choose other small exchange platforms?
Thye already have an edge over the other crowdfunding project, if they managed to launch their project in a big exchange, it just means that they've passed their criteria, and they will be exposed to a lot of investors who rely on big exchanges to only show the best project to invest.
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 01:27:37 AM

Down to four teams ^^ that had a chance to take championship trophy on this year's FIBA world cup but for me i have picked/bet for Argentina to win it all for obvious reason and they have disposed Serbia convincingly.

After seeing France convincingly beating the US team, I am convinced that they have a big chance to win the Championship, but of course, Argentina will always become a heavy favorite, they have been the next favorite, in the past it's expected that bettors will go for Argentina, but France has some composure and championship-caliber too.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 12, 2019, 01:04:47 AM
There are some people gamble and lose. if you ask them why do you gamble? They will answer you "just for fun"
They know they are loser in long term and no strategy works, but continue to gamble for fun.
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose? Is losing money really enjoyable? Isn't there any other entertainment you can enjoy?
I think these people are still hopeful of winning back previous losses or they are addicted. Gambling cannot be just for fun. There are many free games too.

Losing money is not enjoyable, but gambling is not something that you can expect to yield profit, you will just become disappointed if you chase profit and your losses, gambling is fun depending on your approach if you only bet with money you can afford to lose, I enjoy playing dice I feel excited playing it, because I have no idea of getting rich here.
3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: September 11, 2019, 05:16:19 AM
Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?

Yes, Cryptocurrency has become news and we have seen so many programs and companies already using Cryptocurrency, very prominent are the many gambling sites dedicated for Cryptocurrency users, of course, we already now Amazon and Facebook intention to enter Cryptocurrency, adoption is really moving and many Cryptocurrency users are increasing, the evidence is the market.
3690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 11, 2019, 01:55:09 AM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?

It's not the lack of idea, it's investor's reactions to the crowdfunding, they have seen that so many projects cannot sustain the competition, so even if they have a good concept, it will fail because of lack of support and developers also lacks the dedication to continue even though they have a good concept.
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 11, 2019, 01:35:51 AM
Sport betting is strange when it wants to be, it never a sure fact the impossibility can turn possible.
When booking a bet many bets on what the majority had placed before hand.
What am I saying betting site releases games for betting and gives an option where you see what others has selected and very often it's the one with the lower odd that  people place bet on.

Last week Saturday was a Turing point for me as I refused to bet with majority(31-8-2019) and placed a draw on the match between osasuna and FC Barcelona. Most people would see it as an unwise decision but that's soccer the foolish thing can turn out to be wise.

How many times have you gone against the crowd and smiled to the bank

I'm a safe player I only done it once in our local team, of course this is your team although they are very much an underdog I prefer to bet on my team because of loyalty, but on all my gambling betting I always go for the favorite even if the prize is not that big, because upsets seldom happens.
3692  Economy / Economics / Re: Over 100,000,000,000 In Volume on: September 10, 2019, 06:03:26 AM
The market seemingly has over 100 Billion in volume and growing as of today, do you think this is a good or bad thing for the economy and where is the market headed to next? Speculations and thoughts?

Of course, this is good, the market is showing a positive sign, this is all that we wanted, it just shows the market is growing many people are turning to Bitcoin and converting their fiat to Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency, there are a lot of programs being created dedicated to Cryptocurrency and accepts cryptocurrency as payment.
3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 10, 2019, 05:23:29 AM
Our goal is to win, if this will bring back negative memories of losses then we are not actually winning, we are just going back to a situation where we actually lose, it's not good that you remember and calculate your losses every time you lose, just have fun enjoy your winnings and you are good to go.
3694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 10, 2019, 03:35:50 AM
As we know that Gambling is prohibited in certain religions including Islam. If anyone does it, the earned money is not legal and is considered Sin.

But what if someone is promoting a gambling site on social media etc, will the money earned from it be legal provided he will never directly gamble ?

I'm a Christian and I'm promoting gambling sites to all my peers, as an entertainment venue, because I do entertain while playing various games in gambling sites and I'm not a very religious person as long as I'm not harming any creature or using lying and deceiving just to entice people to join I don't believe I am making a sin.
3695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 10, 2019, 02:45:17 AM
Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

No it did not affect as long as you are moderate on what you are doing and you do not spend all your time in gambling you are ok with it, it's your money, you will be affected if you have no control on how you play but as long as you taking care of business and you take good care of your family, you should not get affected at all.
3696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: September 09, 2019, 10:29:37 AM
Yep, I have witnessed similar situations before, not this extreme one, where there is only one participant, but there have been less than 10. And naturally, the campaign manager did deduct the original allocation, but the sig participants were still paid a lot regardless that deduction.

The project is not good if it is not attracting participants if there is only one participant then it's not attractive for bounty hunter, I have not seen crowdfunding that only got one participant, bounty hunters will always look for a good project and leave their current campaign.
and if happens that there is only one participant, they can decide to deduct the prize.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You think ICO Investing Is Worse Than Online Gambling on: September 09, 2019, 08:50:20 AM
Do You think ICO Investing Is Worse Than Online Gambling? what do you think
On ICO investing you will have to wait for several months like 3 to 10 months before the ICO is finished and you'll wait to 2 to 3 months more to get the coin in the market and there's no guaranty that you will make a profit, majority of the coins coming from ICO are down 50 to 90% and that was over a year of waiting.

on online gambling, if you play your cards right like when you have control on when to stopped and you have built a strategy, you can win over and over again and you can withdraw your gains immediately

I think it is now because 90% of investors are losing or even more, there's no project worth investing that will yield good profit in the long run if you look at the stat, new coins coming from ICO is always down 50 to 90% of it's ICO price, and you have waited months to see the results of your investment, compared to gambling you can see it right away.
3698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 06, 2019, 04:19:55 PM
Investing isn't gambling, actually speculative trading is where gambling comes into play. Gambling rely mostly on luck and a little bit of skills gained from experience but holding (investment) has nothing to do with luck. Over the years holding has been awarded the best investment strategy meaning others can follow your fullsteps and achieve equal success but that can't be said when you're gambling.

I don't agree, investing for me is still gambling, check out those people who lost a lot from investing in ICO, some of them lose their effort time and money because they thought if they are going to hodl this new coins they are also going to make a profit in a long run, just all the other that came before them, but these people invested in Bitcoin and other coins that have real value.
3699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 06, 2019, 11:13:37 AM
The President of the Philippines Mr Rodrigo Duterte already made an announcement that he will listen to Chinas request but he will not implement such ban as Philippines needs money coming from tax. Mr Rodrigo Duterte thinks that by following the order of China, that have an impact in the unemployment rate here in the Philippines.

Source: https://business.inquirer.net/278242/duterte-wont-ban-pogos-many-will-lose-their-jobs

I think that was a good decision from the president although I do not agree, seeing how he manage the coffer I am ok with taxing these Chinese and the online gambling operation, the Philippines should have their own network of online gaming so they can also employ Filipinos, and not these Chinese coming here, some of them are bullying local people and not following ordinances from the local municipality.
3700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 06, 2019, 09:44:36 AM
I'm surprised that a legendary will say something like this, the operating system will not save your computer because it has no mechanism that will warn you that there is an intervention going on, only an anti-virus can do that, he can say that maybe because he is not downloading applications and software.

But for me, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure, I prefer to keep my two anti-virus to protect me.
