321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 27, 2020, 04:54:26 PM
Bounty campaign is a good way for projects to spread the word and gain publicity in the cryptocurrency market. But it is not the best way to gain investors. Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors. And these posts are just basic and can not convince good investors to invest.
Bringing in the investors and funds depends on the team's marketing ability and their ability to close deals. This is why good projects attend a lot of crypto events and network with people.
Though bounties help a project to create popularity and hype among crypto users, the main investment and funds is brought in by the team's marketing and closing ability.

Though bounty hunters didn't hold it all in term of project promotions, however, the impact of hunters cannot be overemphasized.  This is the largest community of crypto.  Promotion on social media and other platforms go a long way in bringing both crypto and non-crypto spheres investors.  Hunters can promote a particular project as well as bring it down.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are You Happy For Participate bounty in this Year 2020 on: March 27, 2020, 01:55:37 PM
I have not really participated in bounties as such this year, probably because of a lot of discouragement I encountered, especially unpaid rewards.  I participated in Bynamic social media bounty recently, and it make sense to some extent.  If someone is able to find a good project, I think SIG campaign would be the most appropriate.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 26, 2020, 02:28:34 PM
This is very irresponsible of the conference organizers and the Parisian Ethereum community. It might have been ok to give them excuse if the conference was on January or February. However, on March, it is a certainty that all conferences and mass gatherings should be declared dangerous.

Users are reporting that they are testing positive for COVID-19 after attending the Ethereum Community Conference. The conference, held in Paris between March 3 through March 5, had a sizable crowd in attendance. Those with symptoms are advised to self-isolate and get themselves tested.

Read in full https://beincrypto.com/covid-19-hits-ethereum-community-conference-six-people-test-positive/

Oh my goodness!!!! How could they have gathered for such a conference? Probably many positive cases have not been reported in France then. We just have to wish them a very quick recovery.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance charity launches with $1million donation. on: March 26, 2020, 09:25:48 AM
When it comes to emergency help in crypto it's binance who are always stepping front, binance charity launches global $1million as a donation to fight against COVID-19. The funds will be mainly spent on medical equipments where people are desperately looking for that, Just before few months they donated 1million for the bush fire happened in Australia and now for medical emergency, guys I am overwhelmed and humbled to these team binance exchange....longlive guys...

https://www.google.com/amp/s/cointelegraph.com/news/binance-charity-launches-global-crypto-against-covid-initiative-with-1-mln-donation/amp

This is welcome development.  It comes at the right time when most countries that were seriously hit were in shortage of medical equipment.  This donation will go a long way in saving more lives from this pandemic.  I wish the donation also reach African countries, just like Halibaba foundation did recently.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 25, 2020, 08:20:16 PM
i join a lot of air drops and still i dont know am i wasting my time or not! i saw a lot of scams and most of them after ending airdrop time ask for amount of eth or btc or they delay for payment!!! i wonder is there any good resource as site or channel  for good and reliable air drops or not?

UPDATE:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
so many of you call airdrops scam and i think its wrong .
1)airdrop have 0 risk witch most of them have
2)i know many of them are wasting time but not all of them
3)airdrop is not also free money in my opinion because 99% of them have referral system witch makes lets say even 1% to other people know that airdrop and that company
i join to many air drops for me was 70% 30% to get my tokens.
and from that 30% part i can sell 70% of them
i also looking for more good air drops and resource to decrease that 70% part.
also for people that dont have enough money to invest in crypto air drops are the best option i think.

Most airdrops nowadays are nothing but time and other resources waster.  Many telegram bots are now been created by scammers all in the name of airdrops. Some of them use this method to populate their telegram group in order to use it for another purpose. I have participated in more than 15 airdrops this year, I've only realised about $20.  Good airdrops are almost impossible nowadays.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: March 25, 2020, 10:12:45 AM
Don't hold some good but random altcoins for a long time. If you still want to hold then don't leave their telegram group or other social accounts, check updates on a regular basis. Because if you just hold and keep it in a wallet for 2 years then who knows after 2 years your coin's value may turn into zero value, because of the swap!

I lost many coins because of swap things! Recently Insolar is swapping their token, I did not know about it, because I have been holding for two years but did not care enough as the price was very low! Today I was checking the Coinmarketap android app and saw Insolar coin increased by 530% but their ticker is XNS when I knew it was INS! So, I joined their telegram and get the updates about the swap! Unfortunately, If I fail to swap on time then all of the value of my holding coins will be zero! So, except Bitcoin, Ethereum, don't trust any coin for just buy and hold for a long time, rather keep updating yourself!

You're very correct.  I have similar experience too. I got some altcoins via airdrops and bounties, I decided to hold them for a while probably because of the hype they got then. Unfortunately, I was away for a while from their telegram communities.  Behold when I later checked the update about the coins, it was so pathetic. Some that listed at $0.01 have become $0.00001. I just have them as decorative coins in my wallet now.  It will do us a lot of good checking update if possible on a daily basis should you want to hold any altcoin.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 25, 2020, 06:33:04 AM
Coronavirus is the reason why market is in very bad shape,
Stock market but not the crypto field.

it will be very stupid to exit because of this while others are making good choice presently, many are already saying it's the end for crypto but the fact is Bitcoin died several times in the past and it's still alive today, do not be fooled by those who don't understand the technology
As of my understanding you are in contradiction of your own statements.
There is no corona virus before but yet bitcoin will go deep.
Why is this different?
Corona virus or not bitcoin will move which no one could explain.
You could put all the news and events of the world but yet it is not connecting with how the bitcoin market will fluctuate.

Yeah exactly, I agreed with you.  Irrespective of any disease, rising and fallen (instability) has always been one of the characteristics of crypto markets. I am not completely ruling out the possible impact of the pandemic on the market. But we need to understand that, it is not the major determinant.  Crypto markets has a lot of forces controlling it besides any disease outbreak.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project since 2018 on: March 24, 2020, 05:03:49 PM
One project I was part of last year that I cannot forget was Smartfund. It was a very good project that a lot of people benefited from, both hunters and investors.  Although, it's price is not as good now as it was then, but I can't forget the benefits I got from that project. I even used part of the dollars I made there for reinvestment.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 24, 2020, 09:41:19 AM
Honestly crypto market is not reliable at all. If someone is not a smart investor, it can give someone a high BP.  I have invested a little in cryptos, just exactly the time when I need returns from my investment, the market would be red.  For someone like me who is not a smart investor, in time lime this when global economy is facing chaos I prefer putting 80% of my assets into landed properties.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 24, 2020, 06:30:52 AM
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?

Nothing is impossible actually. However, to find such high paying projects will be kinda difficult.  The issue is that, no matter how grounded or novel your project idea might be now, 99% of investors are not ready to invest in it, because of horrible experience they might have had from the scammers.  That's why many projects are not successful even if the idea is good, and if they are not successful then no matter the promise of high pay they might have made to the hunters, it won't work at the end of the day.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers always make use of advantages on: March 23, 2020, 07:25:55 PM
Last week the United kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning that the coronavirus out real might be providing criminals with the opportunity to swindle investors out of their crypto assets, you've been warned

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will surely try many things.

Do not trust any one or organization asking for donations to combat the outbreak, it's not real

Exactly, I know definitely that scammers will want to capitalize on this horrible situation.  Those that created thread in promoting such donations have been warned expressly to desist from it. All the claims that some countries, especially Italy want to use crypto donations to fight the pandemic are all false.  I think we are wise and careful enough not to fall into such cheap scams.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are having rough days, are you still a HODL? on: March 23, 2020, 11:24:40 AM
Honestly the best thing a logical person can do now is just to  hold, especially good coins.  In this period of market downturn, holding and probably buying more if you have the asset is a good way to go.  Thereafter let's look for better days to come.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 22, 2020, 07:03:52 PM
Will it be wise if this forum put up a request that ALL NEW PROJECTS EXPECTING TO RUN BOUNTIES SHOULD PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FUNDS BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY BOUNTY OR run an ESCROW.
The fund will be use to settle hunters should incase project owners Refuse to pay hunters Or decides to play tricks with hunters payment after a successful bounty campaign. For over a long period, hunters has been crying and wailing about successful campaigns that has refused to make payment. there are new campaigns on-going and more projects will run bounty campaigns sooner or later. the issue of payment is still a lingering problem here with No solid profound solution. Apart from the fact that some projects has the ANN Thread labelled as SCAMS, it is still do not offer solutions to payments.

the idea above is just a suggestion.. we all hope that a perfect solution will solve this issue of projects refusing to settle hunters here and will promote this platform.

It is a very good observation, because many hunters including me have had one horrible experience or the other in term of failure to receive bounty rewards after many weeks of promotion.  The point is that, even if this is implemented, it may even increase scam projects more. Because some will just go and develop fake coins and be rest assured that it will be promoted since it's just to deposit part of it as a proof.  At the end of the day, everything will be worthless after much stress.  One of the existing best solutions is to do a thorough findings about any project we want to join so that it won't be an exercise in futility.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: March 22, 2020, 05:33:16 AM
Well guys this is the end ,it was a great ride ,we made money,we lost money ,we had fun ,it was a beautiful journey .

eth price today 109 usd
bitcoin price 4864 usd

They will never recover,at least we should learn the lesson from this crises.

For me most important lesson is that money isn't real  and it shouldn't be that important in life.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4y48CBEQso

Your observation or opinion is totally wrong man, if crypto will die it would have been long time ago.  There is no exchange market that follows a straight line curve, it's a sinusoidal one - rising and falling. More people will continue to see the usefulness of cryptos thereby increasing it's adoption. As a result of this, I believe it cannot die.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Italy is using blockchain to fight on: March 21, 2020, 05:01:52 PM
This must be far from being the truth.  Topics like this issue of donation are just so much in altcoin sections now.  People need to stop these spamming and scamming stuffs.  If you donate any coin/token to anybody all in the name of coronavirus victims, you're just on your own.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: March 21, 2020, 09:09:20 AM
I think the past horrible experiences of most investors actually responsible for this.  What do we say of someone that invested in a particular coin at 0.1$. He woke up at the middle of one night and saw the price decreasing seriously up to $0.001 before he decided to sell that coin right in that night. A week later, everything has gone down and developers took to their heel.
So it is true that are newbies and impatient investors, however it was bad experience that have turned some to be.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CNV : corona virus token Project on: March 21, 2020, 06:37:55 AM
The digital currency’s tokens are burnt every Every week in ratio of 2:1 depending upon the number of victims Recovered during those hours.

Oh c'mon.
This is just too good to be true.
I doubt it will be successful.

The sudden creation of a coin because of the virus.
Normally, you are using just the name because of the viral name which is now being talked a lot in different forums and social media.
For you it might be a wise idea but not for the people who have seen the same shit already.
Yeah! Here in this forum. You cannot fool anyone here anymore. Maybe the newbies, but it would be too much of a fool to buy that.

Definitely the project cannot be a successful one.  So they want to gather some money all in the name of donating to the victims and run away.  If they want to do charity work, they should go ahead and do it and not through one nonsense token sale.
I have seen some related topics too a couple of weeks ago, I just wave it off. I think we can also help by stop replying to such baseless topics.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are having rough days, are you still a HODL? on: March 20, 2020, 09:23:31 PM
In my opinion, the rational thing to do in this depressed market situation is to hold and sell when the market improves.  Holding could also probably help in the quick improvement of the market.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: March 14, 2020, 11:54:03 AM
There were just numerous ways outside there device by scammers.

Just at the beginning of this week, a guy messaged me on telegram and asked me if I have ETH, BTC or LTC. He said he has been a part of deciding team members of one online gaming platform, that he can make a me winner if I  place a bet and that 50% of my win will be transferred to him. I said no problem, then he sent me the link of the site and asked me to open an account.

After I opened account, he asked me to send him my username which I did. Then I said what's the next step.  He said I need to bet a minimum of $100 to win $2000-5000. So I teased him further on how to place a bet, then he told me he is going to generate wallet address for me based on which coin out of the three I earlier mentioned. He said that's where I will deposit the bet.

I don't need anyone to tell me that's a scammer, but a greedy person would have jumped into that offer. Let's don't be in a rush to participate in any thing, at least a few findings can probably save us a lot of regrets.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 14, 2020, 10:11:29 AM
Extra patience is just needed at this time around. You can hold what you have especially stable coins or invest more in good coins.  I was blaming myself that why didn't I buy a few ETH or btc when they were $97 and $3000 and sell when they reach $290 and $10000 respectively recently. To me, I'm not panic at all, volatility is one of the strong attributes of crypto market. It's going to pick up again. I just see this time as an opportunity to invest more in stable coins. Everything is all about risk.
