Big Corporate pools have paid representatives who market their pools. Real pools use bitcointalk.

Here at Kano's Pool, a couple of members, and myself work toward promoting the pool. If you go back in the thread around late
January/early February, you'll see where I explained the importance of helping Kano with promotion. Kano lives and breathes,
24/7, total dedication to the pool. If there is an issue, Kano is on it, getting it resolved. However, that leaves very little time to
promote the pool.

I personally spend about 10 to 15hrs a week, working on graphical marketing, and pool promotion. I get ALOT of traffic on social media, and between the few of us, we are covering good ground. Kano made a huge impact, by giving 10btc towards the growth of the pool.
In turn, that gave the "promotion team" ALOT to work with, and work we do!!!

So far, we are doing great!!! I post updates on the weekends on things I've been working on, and feedback I receive. Stay tuned!!!

My invalids are down .02% in the last hour.....just saying!!!

Having an issue with AvalonMiner 841 and  Awesome Miner connection with the 841's API.

I set the W:192.xxx.xx.xxx in cgminer, and Awesome Miner can connect. However, every few minutes, it disconnects for a minute.
It reconnects, with 0 hour/min uptime and does so over and over. While I have the API access set, cgminer shows no info, but when
I reset the API to default and disconnect from AM, the uptime is correct. The 841 is running the entire time, showing no disconnection
from my pool.

Should the API access ip be entered differently?

My other miners, not AvalonMiners, are having no issues with AM at all during this issue. My AM is up to date as well. TIA!!!

I added an 841 to the pool yesterday , and it was absolutely awesome, that the first two pool options on all three pool choices, are Kano's Pool!!! Nice to see such a great company show their support, even after "burn in".

I'll be adding another 841 on Monday, and ALMOST have the funds together for another order. Definitely growing my hash!!!

I prefer to label them independently, for the sake of monitoring more precisely. If 1 miner is showing symptoms, I can easily see it on the "worker" page. Takes out ALOT of guess work.

Ditto!!! Once you get that "paid by the day" out of your mind, and let the reality of the ACTUAL rewards settle, you'll understand it.
Try to think of it as a Regular paycheck. When I go to work, I get paid on Friday. Not every day.

The ramp will be over before you know it, and your percentage will be much, much better. Be strong!!! Purge that Corporate filth from your mind!!! Ha!!!

I kept my order under $2500, as an individual, and had no issues with customs. DHL sent me messages informing me, when the packages arrived at customs, and when they departed. I did find it odd that, all the way from China, the Customs location they went to was in Ohio. In my mind, thats kinda far from a border!!! Ha!!!

It's still Tuesday here......we've got time!!! Hahaha!!!

WhatsMiner shipped my miners with DHL. Everything was smooth. From China to Michigan in under 48hrs. Can't imagine why it'd be
different for Bitmain to do the same.

Got my first 841 delivered today, and I've got to say: Everything looks Great!!! Shipping was hassle free, and everything was packaged nicely. Blokforge did an awesome job with emails regarding delivery, every step of the way. Big thanx to Blokforge!!!

Looking forward to the next delivery in about a week!!!

Welcome new Members!!! Most new members ask about rewards right out of the gate. Totally understandable. I posted this
screen shot a couple of weeks ago. It includes my ramp period. I also lost power a couple of times for about 12hrs, but I honestly
can't tell what effect it had on my rewards. This shot does not include the whole month of March. Thanx for Joining, and Goodluck!!!

My avg TH/s is 23.6 at this moment. Soon to be higher in April.

Note: We get rewarded when we find a block, not daily like the corporate shenanigans.

Just a heads up, Blokforge has aimed some Hashrate at Kano Pool, for a post I made including them. They are a

I can say such "nonsense", because the only pool being marketed at this point is Slush. Not -ck's pool. And, being auto set to Slush, right out of the box, points new users in the same direction. Every single media report you find is about Dragonmint and Slush. Then you have the Slush Corporate Committee Advertising "The 1st pool to support overt AsicBoost", leading users to connect with familiarity. There is no Media Hype about any other pools, -ck's included. Yes, we here are aware of -ck's involvement, and his work within this community.

However, this information about -ck's involvement, and his pool's ability to run these Dragonmint's are NOT mentioned in the
obvious media campaign, being pushed by Halongmining and Slush's Corporate Committee. The direct result of this will be, users
who do not know any better, will all Flood to Slush. In turn, this will lead to my "nonsense" Centralization.  By the time other pools
have access to implement AsicBoost, it will have already begun. -ck's pool has access and is currently supporting,  where are the
reports of the blocks found with asicboost at his pool??? New users will flock to Slush, like Moths to a Flame. Exactly as intended
to, in which I made reference to, by Halongmining releasing these to vloggers VS. Mining Veterans.

Indeed glorified. All of the hype is centered around "asicboost", and Halongmining's use of the terms; "more efficient" and "New".
They are even leading buyers into the IDEA of Decentralization. So how exactly are any of these terms truthful???

The Dragonmint MAY become more efficient, IF the firmware can be squeezed to a stable version. We all know that
"asicboost" is not New, and the fact it only works on a couple of compatible pools only pushes towards Centralization.
Then, there is the cookie cutter pcb, that at best, is very misleading of WHO actually makes this product.

Halongmining's LACK of communication with consumers is very troubling. Everything you can dig up points directly to Hype.
This Hype is keeping the Money Boat afloat, at this moment. Though there may be units being delivered, and plugged in, most people
receiving them, are "standard" users that can do just that: Plug it in.

It would seem, they are AVOIDING users who are more knowledgeable about miners. Why not send them out to people like
phillipma, or HagssFIN,  before a vlogger???  To help spread the Hype of release, or to hide the fact the units DO NOT WORK AS
ADVERTISED??? Yes, they work. Do they work as Advertised???

Halongmining has avoided every single path that leads to customer support, and follow every path directly to the Bank. They've said,
their silence was because of the secret nature of their cash cow: AsicBoost. Where are they now???
