Here we go again! The last guy who entitled a thread with "I'm Back" seemed to have owned some bitcoins to some members. Surely, you're not making the same mistake. That said, welcome back.

~Bruno~

Nope, I believe the last thread I posted was asking for a loan, which I paid back quickly. So I don't owe anyone anything. Smiley I'm just happy to be back, and for a shit-ton of real-life drama to be over.
322  Other / Off-topic / I'm back on: July 23, 2012, 09:11:03 PM
I've had a lot of personal real-life issues for quite a while now that have been keeping me away from here, but everything's calmed down, so I'll be here a lot more often. I doubt anyone remembers me, as I've been gone for a long time, but I thought I'd let you all know anyways. Smiley

Sure thing, thanks for staying honest with us, even tho there has been a few problems along the way, I really like the fact that you are honest with us, makes it much easier to cope with the downtime.
Yeah, I like that a lot too. Great job, Nachtwind!

I'm liking this pool of money for cutting my hair. How much would I have to cut off, exactly?

At least 10 inches and you actually have to donate it to Locks of Love.
Ok, will be doing this as soon as possible.

EDIT: Just checked the locks of love website, and my hair meets the requirements, so I'm definitely doing this.

I'm liking this pool of money for cutting my hair. How much would I have to cut off, exactly? Would I have to look like a skinhead, or would short hair suffice? I'm not particularly attached to my hair. The only reason it's so long is because I don't like haircuts, so I might actually do this.

Edit: Plus, it takes forever to wash my hair. Now I'm actually getting excited thinking about how easy it will be without so much hair.
326  Bitcoin / Project Development / What kind of features should go in a forum for the Bitcoin community? on: January 06, 2012, 03:31:37 AM
I'm going to be making a forum in node.js and coffeescript. It will start out as just a regular extensible forum, but then I will be developing extensions for Bitcoin users. So, what kind of features would you like to see? I'm thinking things like having a built in wallet, so that you can send other users Bitcoins directly from the forum. That's about all I can think of. Any other ideas? It doesn't have to be Bitcoin related. It could be ideas for the general forum part too.

EDIT: Also, it will be open source, of course. Smiley

EDIT2: If anyone can think of a name for it, that would be nice, too.
327  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a .8 BTC loan on: January 05, 2012, 10:54:28 PM
You're welcome! I know you are a good guy and hard worker. I'm happy to help. Repay it when you can.
I just managed to get to .8 BTC again by stapling my arm for someone, so I returned your Bitcoins. Also, I know you didn't ask for it, but as soon as I get that payment, I'll be sending you .8 more BTC for doing the loan in the first place. Smiley

"Your friend needs to do more. He must staple his arm through a paper that says "LOL CAN'T TOUCH MY BITCOINS" .. and when I see this, you will possibly receive 0.0666 Bitcoins from ... well not from me, i would never admit to personally controlling any precise amounts of bitcoins because everyone knows that only TERRISTS use Bitcoins (because every Bitcoin transaction is an attack on America and American values)

I believe these are enough to earn you the full .1 btc... where would you like them to be sent?

Bumping for the end of the story.

First, we tried it with a friend's phone. I stapled myself 3 times, but the quality was horrible.
Then, I tried it alone with a camera I found in my garage. I stapled myself 5 times, but the camera didn't save it, because it needed an SD card.
Next, we did it with another friends phone who claimed his phone took great videos. +5 staples. +1 bad quality video.
Finally, my friend took a video with a good camera. 11 more staples, but we lost the SD card.
So, we did it again with the same camera. 6 more staples, and we found the SD card with the previous video.

So, that's a total of 30 staples, if I did the math correctly, for these two crappy short videos. My favorite part is "Welcome to staples!"

Need some input. 4coin uses markdown for formatting right now, but I don't have my heart set on it. What would you guys like to see? Should it be more like an image board, where there's no formatting except for green text and you can upload images? Should we keep markdown? Or something else?

I like how it's just me and the artist (Mushroomized) talking to each other on 4coin. Someone else post something! Maybe I should do some sort of promotion or something...
337  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 4coin: Anonymity with trust! on: January 04, 2012, 06:23:57 PM
Hm. Speaking about not being a cryptography expert... could BTC rival PGP?
That's what I'm wondering! And that's the question that led me to create this site.
