321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple CEO: As many as 99% of all cryptocurrencies will likely go to zero, on: November 12, 2019, 09:08:58 PM
Ripple CEO believe that the 99% of crypto-currency will go to zero as those coin has no use to solve any real life problem. And some coins have grown just because of hype in the market https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-ceo-only-1-of-todays-cryptocurrencies-will-survive .
I absolutely agree with him. Today's market is established on HYIP. IEOs offered in big exchanges, the value that any coin gains from listing in the big exchange is not its real value. There are valuable projects that can be useful that are below their value, and the majority do not even know its name because it does not generate any profit. The main usefulness of today's cryptocurrency market is to provide a profits.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 12, 2019, 08:40:53 PM
my point is if new projects can take the risks why not same with bounty hunters? altcoin market of this year is poor no doubt but some bounty projects still become a success

Why waiting for altcoin season?
Why would the project want to join the market in bad condition? If developers value their projects, they always think about what is best for it. Otherwise, after reaching softcap it is not heroism to ruin the project.

Says who? harmony IEO happened on binance and bounty hunters still promote the project for the them, tokoin is another good one, not to talk of many goof successful bounties of 2019, if you are choosing bounties wrongly then you don't know how to do research
- sessia bounty is successful
- colletrix bounty is successful
- gowithmi is successful
from the list that you stated only Harmony is somewhat decent. LMAO
the rest are shit coins that has low trading volume. Its not even worth it for waiting months, could've made more by working part-time in real life. hahaha
If you are talking about paying bounties with the newly created coins, unfortunately it is true. Most of them are big disappointment at the end. But there are also bounties that pay with coins that have been available for a long time.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Videocoin Is Really Worth To Invest? on: November 12, 2019, 08:17:12 PM
I invested a lot of coins especially when Okex and Kucoin Exchange listed new coin coz I use and trust that two exchanges especially on listing matter.

We all know Kucoin Exchange has a gaming platform called KucoinPlay when you can play, win, and receive coins/tokens.

Recently, they announced that Videocoin has a contest and giveaway.

I conclude, that this project do their best to satisfy and let their investors to win and receive free VID.

Do you think, VID is a good investment? Inspite the fact that they have a good volume and good market...

Source: https://kucoinplay.com/videocoin-contest-10k/?utm_source=tftj
I take a look at the project and it does not look bad at first. I have looked at Halsey Minor himself, who is successful in his work, although he had a bad experience previously. But, do not consider it for investment purposes. Do your own research and then decide.

The only deficiency I do not understand is your faith in the exchange. They make money from this way, and most projects that pay the amount can be listed. Make the investment according to the project, not the exchange.
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price manipulation are becoming too obvious now. on: November 11, 2019, 10:18:00 PM
Bitcoin price manipulation are becoming too obvious now.
On the contrary, as time goes by, this is going to decrease further. Increasing value and more alertness of the community can counter this slightly. Actually this is normal in the decentralized system. But if decentralization is not important to you, regulation is necessary to counter it. Through the regulation it will be possible to follow the deposits and withdrawals. And tale ends happily. lol
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 11, 2019, 09:54:35 PM

With so many controversies arising from this tech giant's ambitious actions, we never truly asked the most important question.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?
Each project seems to be the best before it is created, but this generally results in a later transformation into shitcoin. Libra has not been created yet and before long the few companies it has contracted broke the deal. Obviously, Libra is far from being shitcoin, but why should I use it without knowing what it is. When the time comes, we can think about it.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitsend can bounce back again? on: November 11, 2019, 09:32:12 PM
I was holding bitsend coins since 2014 but now I'm worried about bitsend coin because bittrex has delisted the bitsend coin few weeks ago after that bitsend price was gone down deeply and there in no good trading volume in crypto market.
The bitsend team also not announce any latest updates about bitsend coin.

There is any chance bitsend bounce back again?

Volume too low. Bittrex's delisting made situation worse, and I do not think anything positive will happen from now on. The latest innovation of the project took place on 05/21/2019: https://bitsend.cc/bsd-is-available-on-netherlands-based-exchange-bitladon/ As it seems this is not a significant  innovation. I did not see anything worthwhile on the telegram group. Sorry, I do not think the future is bright.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what is BCNEX? does it have a potential to overcome other exchanges? on: November 11, 2019, 09:03:45 PM
Yes, BCNEX will be a top crypto exchange within two years. I feel another binance in this exchange. I did its bounty campaign, so, I know it even before their ICO sale. Within a very short time, BCNEX becomes one of the best crypto exchanges in Vietnam! Its looking, trading UI, listed coins all are very perfect and catchy, security also great. Without 2fa, you can't do normal things! Personally, I am loving this exchange and its team for their very active support!
I have heard about this exchange but, I can not see any potential to climb to the top. So, there is no new taste that can contribute  to the meaning of exchange, everything is the same as others. If so how can it go forward? There are dozens of exchanges available on the market like it. IMO the time for normal things is over. Those who are innovative will be more successful from now on.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 11, 2019, 08:38:56 PM
Presently i detect that few bounties still allow red trust accounts to wear their signatures, i think this means the bounty project is been managed by bad bounty manager or what do you think? for example E3T bounty allows red trust account, is this normal ?
Such bounties have existed for a long time, and this does not determine whether BM is good or bad. Obviously, for somebody red trust is nothing. If you are hesitant to participate, it is best not to participate. Factors like this are not the way to evaluate bounty. Firstly you investigate the project, and if it is good, there is no problem joining the bounty. Members already work separately.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 10, 2019, 11:16:04 PM
I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time
Does anyone deposit money in the bank? Instead of losing my money because of this decision, I prefer to be stolen by someone. lol. Or finding something that can keep its value, as you say.

Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?
I do not trust stablecoins personally, but it might be a good option for you.

Or why do not you keep your money in any safe place? What about depositing to forex brokers like Oanda or LCG? Do not trade, just leave it there.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping on margin on: November 10, 2019, 10:39:00 PM
For me, Scalping is one of the interesting trading strategies used for trading. However, it is also one of the most risky strategies, such as a large decline that can quickly wipe out all your previous profits. With this strategy, traders should choose the lowest fee floor and always place a stop loss order.
Scalping is an unsuitable strategy for the volatile market. Such strategies are useful in the Forex market, where prices move more slowly. If you want to make money with this strategy with BTC, your balance may turn to zero in a short time. The possibility of a price moving fast in the opposite direction you expect is equal to the possiblity of earning.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have been some of your biggest losses/mistakes and successes with trading? on: November 10, 2019, 10:12:06 PM
Any interesting stories to pass the time while we wait for the next boom?
Two years ago there was a project called pillar(PLR) and I wanted to invest in it. At that time the price was almost around $0.05. I forgot it for some reason and after two months the price went up to $1.80. Obviously, the current price is much worse, but if I invested at the time I thought, it would provide good profit.
332  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Manager? on: November 10, 2019, 09:49:08 PM
Doesn't red trust mean symbolize bad image?
if so, do you still believe in projects managed by well-known managers who have red trust?

and frankly like @Wapinter
Actually, yes, red trust is a bad sign. But if it is about bounty managers, we can consider issue differently. BMs can not always choose the right one and sometimes a single mistake can cause such result. I suggest you never trade with red trust forum members, but if they are BMs, always be cautious.

You always have the right to choose. But, Wapinter is not a terrible manager. There are also positive reviews that have been added to the trust list recently: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=527272
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 10, 2019, 09:21:14 PM
Bull Run is coming!
Lately the majority thinks like you. It is a good sign that such an idea emerges in the opinion of the majority. In short, the same opinion means the same direction. Just fasten your seat belts.

How did you do that? I get it on app

334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think bounty participate in this year 2019? on: November 10, 2019, 08:47:24 AM
I think participate in the bounty in this year is a losing of our times, because many scam projects and no project have good idea to up to the moon. Really its difficult of choose good project in this see of scams.
We now in the 11st month of this year 2019 but no have any successful project. Personally i have participate few successfully projects Like:
1. Harmony (paid done)
2. Tokoin (not paid yet)

For every bounty hunter need stop our promoting service?
Welcome to share your opinions.
3. SmartFund
4. XAUp
These are the bounties I remember from the past.
The situation is bad, compared with the past, but there is always an opportunity to evaluate. If you do not have a choice here to evaluate, you can join BTC paid campaigns.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie trader be like on: November 09, 2019, 11:24:22 PM
I waste lot of money on trading. Without planning I lost every trade which mostly the problem. By the way it's only trial but I didn't want to stop.

Making plans is needed to have successfull trade. Without plan, you're giving away your holding out of you. The one lesson I learned about trading  is plans is very important. At the same time patience.
Planned action requires thinking ahead of time. But, trade is such that anything can happen at any moment, and in this case, if you try to act in a planned manner, you will delay. The plan is necessary, but there is not always enough time to implement this plan. After having enough knowledge and experience to trade, all that is needed is to be able to act correctly at the right time.

337  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Is Why Bitcoin Price Could Hit $55,000 Next Year: Crypto Zombie in Trader’s on: November 09, 2019, 10:25:11 PM
If you’ve ever watched Bitcoin-related videos on YouTube, you’ve probably gotten to know K-Dub. K-Dub is a 32-year-old from New York who broadcasts live each day on his popular channel Crypto Zombie.

Without a doubt, Crypto Zombie is one of the most popular channels around, with an astonishing number of over 90,000 subscribers as of writing this. Every night you can meet him on YouTube, and when I write ‘meet him,’ this really describes his attitude toward his thousands of loyal followers.

K-Dub’s daily streams combine aspects of technical and fundamental analysis. He analyzes the Bitcoin charts while speaking about the day-to-day crypto news.
Please do visit this link for complete information: https://cryptopotato.com/bitcoin-price-could-hit-55000-next-year-crypto-zombie/
We all have expectations because of halving for next year, but $55k is a bit much. It is just someone's expectation. It is difficult to make a long term prediction in the Bitcoin trade and to believe it wholeheartedly. I try to approach it fundamentally in long term analysis, which is generally very difficult. The crypto market is more new and needs to develop a little more, and move away from manipulation.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 09, 2019, 10:00:28 PM

People have the worng ideas for earn free bitcoin without work, if you want earn free bitcoin then you need more skills with hard working. There are a number of ways in which you can earn free Bitcoin, but for that you need to be competent in those things and work hard:

1. Writing about Bitcoin: If you have skills about bitcoin with the cryptocurrency market industry General knowledge then you can share and also earn bitcoin.

2. Micro Earning : Micro earning websites pay you in Bitcoin for completing small tasks. In return you can get a (very) small amount of Bitcoin.

3. BitcoinTalk Signature Campaigns: This is the most and popular ways you can earn more bitcoin with your expensive skills. If you want participate signature campaign then you need good rank and high post quality. Because here campaign manager will be follow your post quality so knowledge must have the crypto world.

4. Paid-to-Click PTC Websites: There are many PTC websites that will pay negligible amounts in Bitcoin for clicks and views theirs adds
This website allows users to choose between viewing ads that are 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 20 seconds, with different fees being awarded for each but you need to searching trust proof site with payment proof.

5. Bitcoin Trading: There is lot of potential to make money on trading in Bitcoin, but it takes a level of expertise and knowledge about the bitcoin market.

6. Bitcoin Investment : If you can be patient then you can make a lot of profit through the investment of Bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin goes down, you can buy and hold bitcoin and if you have enough patience time then after you will earn extra bitcoin profit.

Thanks to all..
I agree with you on this. Nothing can be earned for free, free bitcoin is coin sent by someone without any bother or coin sent by someone accidentally. For example, the signature campaign is the most popular way to make "free" money. But you spend your time and getting tired of your brain when you get it. This is almost the same as working somewhere. So, when you work for someone, you should consider the money you earn as "free".
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 09, 2019, 09:35:54 PM
I have invested in bitcoin, and i would like to learn about trading bitcoin to hopefully maximize both my current and future investments.

Since i am completely new to the world of crypto i would appreciate it if more knowledgable people have any good resources or tips to share. Both for (hopefully) profiting from trading, and for practical tips on how to reduce fees, maximize security in a practical manner and anything else that is necessary and/or helpful in my quest to accumulate bitcoin.
Rule #1: Never lose money
Rule #2: Never forget rule number one
-Warren Buffett

I think it's impossible in trading that we don't lose money, we sometime lost money and sometimes earned money more than we loss, that's how pro traders play.
I think this is why warren buffet is not agree with cryptocurrency because his way to earn money is different with the traders. Anyway every people has their own way to earn money so we are not allowed to judge each other

Source: https://www.quora.com/What-does-Warren-Buffett-mean-by-saying-never-lose-money
Quote
There is a slight difference difference between “Never Losing money” and “ Gaining money” however not many investors understand this in entirety.

To understand the statement “Never Lose Money” you need to first understand the concept of “Margin Of Safety” & “asymmetrical risk”

Margin of Safety: The rule is you should invest in an asset such as your capital remains protect. You can invest in stocks, bonds etc however you need to enure that you capital remains intact. You are not to loose the capital at any given time. Cause if you lose your capital, you will have to work 10–100 times harded to get back to square one.
Suppose you buy a stock at Rs 400 and it tanks 50% and the new value of your stock is Rs 200. It will take 100% increase in stock price increase to get back to the original level. This is possible however less likely.

So margin of safety encourages you first find the intrinsic value of the stock and then invest in it when it below that intrinsic value.

Similarity if you invest in bonds you should not invest in bonds that give the most highest returns however you need to invest in the one which provided the best return/risk ratio.

Small investors normally make a huge mistake and they only look at the returns and not count the risks.

Asymmetrical Risks: If you invest in some asset where you expect a return of 100 rupees and also have risk of 100 rupees then you have a Symmetrical risk. This is risk as to earn an extra 100 rupees you have a probability of loosing 100. Asymmetrical risk are risks where there is a limit to your downside however you higher limit to your gains. So you need to bet on business where the max loss will be Rs 10 and the max gain will 50. This is asymmetrical risks.
So when warren buffet invests, he invest in such a way that he has asymmetrical risks where his loses are limited however have a massive upside. Also he ensures that he buys assets at depressed rates so that he never looses his capital.

This explains the axiom.

You might say that risk is part of investing esp stock investing however the kicker here is to ensure that you manage your risk appropriately so that you never lose your capital.

Do not analyze this phrase as it is. Actually, there may be an explanation like this behind this statement.
