321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life experience paying with bitcoin on: June 08, 2018, 06:21:35 PM
To me this is all weird. I ONLY use bitcoin to pay. Like every day. I never have had a problem like the one the OP mentioned. Which was a wallet problem, not a bitcoin problem. I also continuously find new places that take bitcoin.

322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the word PURSE not used a lot in cryptocurrency world than WALLET? on: June 08, 2018, 06:17:01 PM
This should answer your question:

>A wallet is ...

That's a good answer. But I think the OP has also revealed a gender bias. It could have been called a purse just as easily. What does this tell us about Satoshi?

I have said too much.    Lips sealed
323  Economy / Economics / Re: What language should I learn next? on: June 08, 2018, 06:12:02 PM
Since your goals are keeping up with economic changes I vote for Chinese. China is the most important country on Earth already and their power is still at the early stage of development.  They are the big fish in a big pond. However you might also consider learning an obscure language and trying to be a big fish yourself. For example, I would guess that someone who knows Swahili is in a good position to get on a business team trying to enter African markets.
Just a thought.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto and automobile on: June 08, 2018, 06:02:27 PM
Faces commission of such purchase it will be convinced that the legislation of the country in which is made purchase provides such type of mutual settlements. Otherwise such transaction can be recognized as invalid and cancel it. As a result you will be left both without car and without altcoins\bitcoin.
Um. Don't know what you mean. But you can sell a car for used underwear if both parties agree.

... for now i think it cant happen, because waiting for permission from government

Permission from government? WTF? We are not here to ask permission, we are telling the governments of the world that this is how it's going to be.

I would like first to became able to buy any car here from crypto...
Way to late man. People have been buying and selling cars for bitcoin for years.

I think your idea will come true soon. ...
Has come true. Years ago. Man nobody reads anymore this is 2011 stuff. Again, here are a million cars for sale in BTC just at this one site.

325  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: June 08, 2018, 05:51:36 PM
Yes, Craig's list does have a crypto option so it's not new, just new for me. I'd like to do btc but due to the transaction time I don't think it would be practical for btc which is a shame. Craig's list sales are usually face to face transactions
You can't wait 10 min.?
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero on: June 08, 2018, 05:47:05 PM
I predict that CNBC will crash to zero. The race is on!  Cheesy
327  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - a financial pyramid: true or myth? on: June 08, 2018, 03:29:23 PM
It is obviously not a pyramid. Transactions are between the two parties and nobody else. Amway is a pyramid and when a sale is made many people get a cut. Anyone who thinks this applies to bitcoin does not understand what a pyramid scheme is. So here:

328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADE AGAINST THE TREND on: June 07, 2018, 04:55:54 PM
I am also a counter-marketeer. Spend into a rally, buy into a bear market. That is how you profit. You are going to be far less successful following the crowd and asking people what they think.

P.S. This is also how I make money in other markets like stocks, real estate, etc.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: June 07, 2018, 04:46:12 PM
I don't do alt-coins. But way to spend like a boss.  Smiley
330  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-07] Bitcoin Not Going To Be The Global Currency - Ripple CEO on: June 07, 2018, 04:35:39 PM
On a related note, the world carrot consortium says Carrots will be the new global currency.

331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fucking Chinese on: June 07, 2018, 04:24:21 PM
Wow!  Those damn chinamen kick serious ass.

Those Swedish pussies at KnC miner look like silly little bitches with their garbage Neptune mining junk.  They don't understand shit about business and now they are driven away as another non-competitive clunk.

Those shrewd Jews can squeeze a penny until Lincoln screams, but Spondoolies couldn't stay competitive against the hyper efficient Chinese manufacturing.

Survival of the fittest my friend.  The Jews and Swedes are OUT OF BUSINESS because the fucking Chinese kicked their asses.
What the hell is this post about?
And where are your proofs?

yep, i don't get it too. lol

look at the news https://btcmanager.com/hyperchain-becomes-the-first-quasi-unicorn-in-the-chinese-blockchain-sector/

come on..
Hate does not require understanding. In fact it is almost exclusively practiced by the ignorant.   Wink
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even more Confusion now, Bitcoin Core has been created on: June 07, 2018, 04:21:02 PM
I say it's an obvious scam because it is clearly an attempt to confuse people. Calling it bitcoin Core when we all know that bitcoin Core is the main reference wallet is disingenuous. I don't do business with people who lie to me or try bullshitting me with their language.
And why on Earth do we need another alt-coin? Why, to address the problem of not having enough alts? Please.  Roll Eyes
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency on: June 07, 2018, 04:04:34 PM
What you are really asking is "How do I get money?"

Well, you can buy it with other money, provide a service with payment in bitcoin, or sell something for bitcoin. If you in the USA there is a new place to sell worth checking out. Craigslist.com now has a filter to buy and sell for crypto currency. Put some stuff for sale at a cheap price and maybe you will get some interest.

Some people may suggest gambling or buying their alt-coin. F that. Be a grown-up and put in the effort for better results.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: June 06, 2018, 05:08:33 PM
Simple! Just be the first person ever to predict the future.  Huh
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get paid for my 600 BTC? on: June 06, 2018, 05:06:26 PM
I would fly there. For that kind of money a plane ticket is negligible. Meet in person and have the buyer do a bank transfer. When that is confirmed call a friend sitting at your synced wallet. That friend then initiates a bitcoin transaction that you and the buyer can see confirming.  Relax and have a drink together. In about an hour it will have sufficient confirmation. I would require six confirmations for that much money.

Now you have the cash and they have the BTC

P.S. This is not going to work if you think you can hide the money from the tax man. I can almost guarantee you that this will get noticed by all governments involved.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: June 05, 2018, 04:27:40 PM
The present.  Cheesy
337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to buy bitcoin ? on: June 04, 2018, 07:27:37 PM
Or you could sell something on Craigslist.com
They now have a filter for sellers and buyers who use cryptocurrency. Super easy. Off the books.  Cool
338  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: June 04, 2018, 03:10:36 PM
I agree, I doubt I'll have any takers but I'd really like to see btc used as it should

I look everyday for stuff on craigslist now that they have a "cryptocurrency ok" button. Bought a kayak this weekend.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can you buy with bitcoin? on: June 03, 2018, 01:45:18 PM
In the UK, theirs a store called CEX where you can buy second hand dvds, computer games, consoles etc. CEX is in all the main towns and cities and is very popular, been around nearly 20 years now. Any way i noticed on their website that you can pay with bitcoin, on their website.
"Payments - To buy any product from Webuy.com you must make payment using a valid UK credit or debit card, PayPal account, Bitcoin or CeX voucher."
I've heard rumors you can buy gold, property and even sports cars directly with bitcoins. Obviously there are loads of scammers these days, does anyone know of any such legitimate companies and what products you can currently buy?

I find whatever I'm looking for these days. Of course you can buy gold, cars, etc.

Here you go:
GOLD = Veltgold or Amagi metals (discount for buying with bitcoin)
CARS = Overstock.com cars  (Any car you can think of new or used - local pickup)
RANDOM STUFF = Craigslist (filter by "cryptocurrency ok")
GUNS = central texas gun works or search bitcoin at armslist or gunbroker
LAND = bitcoin real-estate or search bitcoin at Landwatch
TRAVEL  = CheapAir for tickets and Expedia for hotels

... There are about 60,000 - 100,000? more, but I don't have time. Google is your friend and so is bitcoin. Most of these places offer a discount to use bitcoin. I expect a discount these days.
340  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Craigslist now supports cryptocurrency sales on: June 01, 2018, 08:27:30 PM
OMG this is hilarious. I think the senior class is having some fun today. The local high school just turned up for sale on craigslist. It's $420, payable in bitcoin. lol

If this is a prank that kid should graduate with honors. Cheesy
