321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 28, 2024, 07:45:17 AM
The age verification procedure also doesn't really make a big difference. because I often see underage children gambling. why is that, because age verification is only a verification button if you are over 18 years old. If it's just like that, even minors can verify that they are 18 years or older by simply clicking the agree button or I am 18 years or older.

I’m wondering how can you see underage gamble while everything is digitalized? Is the underage guy usually post their complete identity including their gambling activity online?

I’m saying this because the age verification you are saying is just for the website with explicit content such as porn site which can be easily bypass through faking your age. Doing this in online casino is hard and risky at the same time because you can’t have crypto without using exchange while exchange has mandatory KYC except for some. But casino has KYC too in random basis which means underage has a lot of risk to take for just playing gambling online.
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling? on: February 27, 2024, 03:25:25 PM

My question is, isn't trading almost like gambling considering it uncertainty and also looking from the fact that he has lost a fortune out of trading within a short space of time?

Is it possible for him to easily recover his money back or is losses like that very much a part of the trading experience?

Trading and Gambling are different. You are trading with the intention of investment while Gambling real purpose is to get entertainment through playing games.

They only have common factor which is risk. Both trading and gambling has risk factor but gambling is riskier than trading due to house edge and it’s pure luck nature while trading can increase your profitability with proper analysis skills. Those people that will assume that both are just the same are those who use gambling in a wrong way. Gambling is an expensive source of entertainment and not a financial tool.
323  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [REOPENED - NEW CASE] BC.GAME SCAM on SPORTS BETTING $807.59 on: February 27, 2024, 03:05:06 PM
Sorry but I'm figuring a new issue...

now a bet simply disappeared along with the owed amount.

https://imgur.com/a/OALNcS8

BetID: 2374266505778049437

I won the 3 legs... 807.59$

It disappeared from history as you can see on that screenshots. Luckly I have that screenshot...

Your issue can be easily solved through the use of live support. Seems like you really like escalating if there’s some minimal error in the casino. You didn’t provide screenshots too of your bet history that will prove the missing bet that you indicated on the current screenshot.

Live support can easily spot what’s wrong on your bets if you will just provide them BetID and screenshot of your bet. We forum user doesn’t any idea what’s going on your account because you and the support are the only person that can look on it. I have same issue like this before when using Betfury sportsbook but settled properly after I report the missing bet to the live support.
324  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please stay away from Sherbet casino, they are scammers (They scammed my $119) on: February 27, 2024, 01:59:04 PM

Upon review, the KYC documents submitted from your account were flagged as fraudulent by both our KYC provider and internal fraud team. While we understand they might have been accepted elsewhere, our strict processes are designed to maintain high standards and uphold the integrity of our operations under our license.

It is essential to note that, unlike many other platforms, we provided you with multiple opportunities to rectify the situation by submitting valid KYC documents. Our support team remained friendly throughout this process and wanted to assist you. Unfortunately, after the fourth attempt, genuine documents were still not provided, leading to the suspension of your account.

Sherbet has been operating for two years and we have thousands of daily players. Scam accusations like this are not taken lightly, and we respond to ensure players are completely aware of the reasons surrounding their suspensions. For a comprehensive breakdown of the reasons behind yours, we encourage you to contact our support team via email, mentioning this thread. We are more than willing to provide you with any necessary information to address your concerns.

Wow! Your standards might be super high for an online casino while Binance is more trusted and established service in crypto which the OP accepted. If this kind of simple KYC is very tough to verify on your casino then playing in there is a red flag.

The OP provided already the sample of his ID which is clearly a valid documents and there’s no way it’s fake. Besides the amount involved here too small for a too much strict KYC. Or is it because it came from your contest which you don’t like to be withdrawn to your casino balance? Most casino has a very simple KYC verification process since having no KYC is most preferred players while you are doing the opposite which is offering a too strict KYC verification. I will understand this decision if you already verify the ID as fake to their government records. You should provide evidence like this and just censored the complete details to hide OP identity.
325  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Accepted Store Spotted 🔥 on: February 27, 2024, 11:10:21 AM

Baka kasi may discount if ever na Bitcoin enthusiasts at holder yung owner. This summer ay try ko halughugin yang Boracay para makita mga hidden gem store na tumatanggap ng Bitcoin.

Sana ay madami pa mag contribute sa thread natin.

Try creating an account on your site and try playing there. It seems like Zeus is pretty good to me, even though it's only 150x it's good enough for me.

Nice to see a huge win from free spin. This x150 can be considered as huge win if it’s come from free spin. Blackjack.fun usually have maximum win set for their promotion so that win is already a blessings compared if you hit the max multiplier while your profit is capped to the max win set by the promotion.  Wink

Some say no replay = hoax, so let's see: https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/RPGPczmFcx

Who said this?  Sounds like a little bit of trust issue. A screenshot of profit that “real play” is indicated is already enough proof to verify authenticity of the win since no one will put an effort to photoshop result just for the post sake.  Cheesy

Congratulations on the win.

This is my first time playing on your site, and everything looks very good to me. If you have a house edge game then it will be perfect.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean house game because they have house blackjack and roulette the last time I visit this casino.

330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: February 07, 2024, 02:08:21 PM
~snip~

there's nothing wrong with sharing our experiences, but it would be better to maintain financial privacy from anyone because money can threaten us from any bad impacts.

sometimes it is much better for gamblers to maintain their privacy by not talking about their winnings to other people because we don't know what other people mean to us and what if it turns into a bad incident that harms us. it's better to keep quiet and keep all the winning money to ourselves because it's much better to keep quiet like that compared to talking about or even flexing it to other people because it's no use either.

Publicly I agree with you especially if your identity is exposed since you will never know who can see your post and will have interest on your money.

But sharing it anonymously like in the forum is fine with me as long as there’s no personal information attached on it. As a gambler, sharing my achievement after an adrenaline fun filled game is satisfying when it resulted to a great win. It’s more on self satisfying act to make your day complete.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 02:05:25 PM
Have you ever sold a property to play gamble and afterwards finds it difficult to replace that same property again?

I consider my collectible toys as property and I sold some of mine before just to fund my gambling. Not in the online casino but rather a PvP games with bets of real money on it. I’ve done this a lot during my college days but I’m proud to say that I’m not addicted since I believe on my skills while I need money backed it up.

I never done this just to play in a casino since it’s dumb to do that because casino has house edge advantage and most of the games is just luck based game. It’s just a waste of property if you will sold it just to gamble because there’s a high chance that you will lose than win so just leave your property alone because it’s price might mature in the future.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 11:47:38 AM
Gambling an activity for fun also has the chance to turn someone's fortune. Calculated risk when taken in gambling can be the way to big wins from gambling. Who do you think should take more risk in gambling?

The answer is very simple if we think about the proper consideration about how you use gambling. You already mention that it’s an activity dedicated for fun so we can easily assume that poor people have no room for spending money just for fun. Yeah the potential jackpot win is in there but what is the odds hitting that huge win befor poor people blow up their savings?

Gambling is dedicated for rich people because gambling is business and its operation is based on the profit coming from players. There’s no way to beat a casino to win consistently so we are just discussing here who is the one who can afford to lose money and the answer is rich people.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: February 04, 2024, 05:23:00 PM
There is a lot of history in the crypto world that they will trick you into giving you money like bounty / airdrops. If you keep coming then it is wrong for you because you are only participating in bounty or airdrop but that money is in other people's pocket so they can do anything easily. We are only hopeful and depressed so to get out of this trap you have to do something different. In my opinion you should learn trading and also invest in the best currency and work on some good bounty.

There’s a lot of legit airdrop in crypto space right now. Most of this airdrop requires only to do some task to test and promote the project unlike before that you will just send your wallet address and wait for airdrops that has no value.

Startup project that launch airdrops now have their own VC to initially backed the project initial funding. You can consider the airdrop reward as salary for those who help the project on testing their product on early stage without expecting to be paid. Airdrop is real and much more safer than investing and trading because you only need to complete some task in able to receive this massive rewards.
334  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 04, 2024, 04:53:39 PM

As we know, there is a neighboring forum that is starting to get busy for some reason, and we can teleport the account there. So what happens if someone sells their account on a neighboring forum? Maybe it hasn't happened yet, but someday it might happen when the neighbor forum becomes bigger than it is now. (I mean selling teleport accounts from bitcointalk accounts)

Do you mean selling the account created on other forum through teleport feature? I still didn’t use this teleport feature as I don’t like the forum that offering that but I believe the answer depends on the rules of that particular forum since that is already under their jurisdiction.

If that forum allowed account selling then it’s fine since Bitcointalk is not connected on it while the account user has the right to do that due to ownership. Unless there’s some sort of DT in there which I doubt then this is the only problem once caught. It’s up to the mods there to decide.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: February 04, 2024, 04:47:50 PM
Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?

I will not praise him for what he did but I will not scold him either since the outcome will benefits our life. This is the type of mistakes that you will let go easily since the benefits overcome the intensity of the son sin.

There’s nothing to do on what he is done but you have a choice to waste your time on being angry to a positive outcome or just be happy for the success of your son by doing some risk on his side and manage to win significant amount. We are all risking in our life even when getting job since we pay for requirements before we can start working. I will consider this mistake as an investment rather than stolen funds since the outcome is good.
336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Promote Your Casino in our Gambling Newsletter of 9,982 Members! 14 Spots Left! on: February 04, 2024, 03:52:26 PM
I think this thread should be posted on services section since you are offering a service and not an announcement or discussion regarding gambling but since most of the casino representatives are here then probably the thread is still relevant here.

How can you assure your customers that your members is real and not just bot. And what platform you are using to gather all this member that involves on gambling? Casino usually use affiliate system to have this kind of reach with group of gamblers.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 03, 2024, 04:12:42 PM
Well I believe what can only make me hate myself or have regrets will be when I have over gambled away all my bankroll which I have a very watchful mind on. If you don't want to ever feel regrets then planning and setting limits to gambling habits is the only way to it and  also  many people stories about how they merciless fucked up has proven to be a big teacher too and reading this always helps keep me in check and avoid doing those things that makes a gambler go crazy.

This is not always the case on most gambler. You are really lucky if you manage to limit your bankroll to your dedicated amount for a long time gambling since many gambling always failed to do that when they are on the actual effect of gambling that usually cause the addiction.

Not all people can fight their greediness when gambling and usually over extents their budget for the sake of chasing losses. I encounter chasing loses many times that makes me hate myself during the time when I still have a lot of funds from my bounty profit here in the forum. I learned my lesson a lot that time and become real responsible gambler right after I sum up all my total lose.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ BullBear.Fun ⚡ WEB3 Prediction Game 🔥 100% Provably Fair & on-chain 🔥 on: February 03, 2024, 03:43:53 PM
I’m not sure if this question is already raised here so just reply me the link to the post if there is.

What’s the oracle being use to determine the price of Bitcoin? The time frame for each round is kinda short that makes it very hard to have a good analysis for predictions. Afaik the game is like the pancakeswap prediction games but the only difference is the price is base on Bitcoin price.

I’m interested to know how to verify the price shown in the casino to validate authenticity of the result. I hope there’s an option of different time frame for each bet since the round is too short. I really like the SFX of the game because it add more excitement while playing.

Maybe some free tokens here to try the casino?  Wink
Hello, thank you for your question. I haven't seen this question raised before, but I'll try to answer it by quoting from the FAQ: How do you calculate the cryptocurrency price? Our system's price is updated every 200ms and is a simple average between the latest trade prices on the following exchanges: Binance, Kraken, Bybit, OKX, BitGet, KuCoin. How and from where do we fetch the Bitcoin price for our game? We are committed to ensuring accuracy and transparency in our Bitcoin price data. To achieve this, we aggre sources, updating It every 200 milliseconde. For full transparency, we have made the code we use to fetch thi can review this code anytime on our GitHub Repoaltory, providing you with complete visibility into our data aggregation process

Thank you for the information you provided. I didn’t notice the FAQs section because I’m focus on the game while there’s nothing listed below of the website which is the typical location of the Faq. Also most of prediction games usually indicates how they calculate their prices on the game screen itself like Pancakeswap prediction game indicates they are using Link Oracle to calculate the price for transparency purposes.

It’s really good that they make their price oracle open source for verification of their fairness.

50% win rate, yeah that's it but I don't think that I'll be good with that. How's the experience of everyone who's enjoying this prediction website?
I think that even you're good at reading charts, within a short time range it won't be enough for you to predict it accurately. Maybe as the percentage of winning this game, the same goes for predicting it so that's like 50% of chance too so, it's integrated.

Yeah, being short time per round is one of my big concern since you will be rush to place bet just to enter on each round.
339  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: February 03, 2024, 03:35:35 PM
You may be right cause when something or a certain strategy works for us we at some point have the impression of it being the best way to get the best result. However, I will never categorize it as nonsense cause it will help someone one way or the other.

I believe he is considering the end result on gambling which will always end up to lose the more you play longer. Casino has house edge and there’s no strategy that can help you overcome that fix disadvantage in long term unless you have the power to predict the future.

Strategy has an expiration of effectiveness since it relies heavily on your luck to make it work properly. There’s tons of strategy on gambling because there’s currently no working one that can perform consistently in long term. It’s not nonsense but rather useless at some point when your luck on using it already runs out.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Psychology of Investing in Bitcoin on: February 03, 2024, 02:40:33 PM

Ever felt that rush when Bitcoin hits a new high? Or the sinking feeling when it takes a nosedive? Let's talk about the rollercoaster ride that is Bitcoin investing. Are we in it for the tech, the profits, or just the thrill? Whether you're a HODLer for life or a day-trading.Let's dissect the highs, the lows, and everything in between. After all, the Bitcoin market isn't just about charts and numbers.

It’s obvious that we are all investing money on Bitcoin mainly because of profit. It’s hypocrisy if someone claim they are not here for profit yet they are putting money on it and keep checking the price to calculate their profit.

I’m here because of the profit opportunity since I knew that the value of Bitcoin will grow due to its unique and valuable technology that is the best alternative for fiat which our world currently using. I’m not here for the roller coaster ride and shit thrill since we are talking about money here. There’s a lot of place perfect for thrill seekers. Technology and Profit are my main factor I’m looking at on Bitcoin investment.
