1221  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 12:01:04 PM

should this forum take responsibility for all the crap that has happened so far, starting from MtGox to FTX, many discussions were held about all this.

Just want weigh in here. Mt Gox, FTX and other scammy shit doesn’t promote here. Probably they promote for a few months but that’s it. Mixer is widely promoting here through signature campaign. Somehow this is scary in case US will create an unfavorable analogy that forum is being use to advertise mixers that involves on money laundering.

I’m not against mixers promotion but it’s just hard to argue with authorities if somehow more mixers becomes involved and seize. I’m sure Bitcointalk will be subjected for investigation as common place which this mixer hangout for promotion.

Hey. 2022 was a very important year for us - a year of strengthening our team, creating competetive marketing campaigns and whats also valuable - putting a special emphasis on customer management and reputation management tools. You may check our a report we posted about 2022 result on Focus Gaming News

Thanks for the shared article. What platform do you use before to advertise the casino before you start using Bitcointalk? Also what region does the majority of your customer came from before you advertise here in forum.

I’m curious on more background history and what ignite the strengthening of marketing last year. Nice logo btw from the SBC awards. I just recently notice it.

This casino has many things that I like, also the contests are very different from other casinos, I think that this casino has taken promotions very seriously, and that is something that I have seen and I like, I don't know about you, but a casino I'm going to win a lambo as a prize, that's something spectacular!Regarding me, Megapari has been setting a great example, from the beginning they have very good taste to attract people,I know that this casino gets more traffic every day and their games are very good,I don't know if in the future they will be able to include pvp games but it would be great.

Making lambo as one of the prizes by the casino is actually not a special thing because some casinos have done this and have even done it regularly for several years, but with Megapari also doing it, it means they have the ability to give big prizes and big players will like things like this , because usually a big prize is also accompanied by rules that must be met so that in the end users can become one of the players who has the chance to win it.
PvP games, several casinos have failed to develop it, because indeed this has not become a trend and a need for gamblers, so there are not so many gamblers interested in this type of game, but if it existed, it would be the interesting games that would get the gambler's attention.

Some casino offers lambo as grand prize but it’s worth mentioning that those casino are top casino here in the forum while mediocre casino doesn’t have a grand prize close to a 10K reward. It’s a great achievement for Megapari to offer this bonus despite they are new here in the forum. I believe they are already operating few years ago but they started to level up their marketing right after they introduced their casino here. It shows how competitive they are against huge casino here.

It’s really a great sign that Megapari keeps working.

1225  Other / Meta / Re: Merit questions on: March 11, 2023, 01:24:18 PM
You have been here since 2017 but you do not know about how merit and smerit work? That is funny. If you have quality posts and visiting this forum, learning about what newbies supposed to learn, you would have gone far than being a newbie.

Start to learn and read more about this forum for you to be able to send merit to people to.

It’s understandable on his case that he didn’t know merit system despite he registered in the forum last 2017 because he mostly dealing on the marketplace section of the forum by selling good and services. He became inactive last 2019 and just recently came back last week to burst post probably to get merit for his rank up requirements.

The sudden interest change from digital goods for 2 years to ranking up now is enough reason that literally new on merit system.

PS: This user just recently woke after long period of inactivity
1226  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $17K or $23K? on: March 11, 2023, 12:51:06 PM
Most likely it will retest the bottom again since this dump is incorporated by a big bad news. I don’t want to ignore the chance of having a relief rally but the current FUD is so strong for the bulls to have enough buy power to drive the price back at 23k. We are already on the start of the March which means there’s a possibility to test to the bottom again before we see another good run.

16K to 17K is what I’m predicting if this crazy news about bank collapsing continue.
1227  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: March 11, 2023, 06:27:47 AM
@Fivestar4everMVP maybe it’s time to create moderated thread for this topic since many users are violating your rules about minimum merit requirements left left before they can post a request here . The thread looks like a merit begging thread rather than fun. The rules is already highlighted on red color but still no one cares to read which is a sign that no one bothers to read the rule.

Congratulations on user that recently rank. Trying to give some merits here on qualified user.
1228  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is kyc verification dangerous? on: March 11, 2023, 06:19:17 AM
This is why people here stress you should buy bitcoin without KYC. Privacy is essential!

KYC is bad and should be avoided at all costs.

At very least, XMR swap, or mix your coins!

KYC is not bad because it’s the way to determine the people background. It’s purpose is to detect any fraud that involves money laundering etc. It’s just bad on crypto space since most of the project here doesn’t have the capacity to safely store the data of their consumers that’s why undergoing KYC on crypto projects is dangerous but KYC purposes itself is good if you are a law abiding citizen since your privacy is safe if the company handling it is license and trusted due to the confidentiality clause for the KYC procedure.

1229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think that I have discovered something new on Bitcointalk on: March 10, 2023, 04:53:48 PM
I’m not aware with this button because the edit button is much more noticeable than that small icon. It is indeed useful to edit using this button because it didn’t change the screen and its perfect to view other post while you are still on the edit mode unlike the edit button which rearrange all the post from top to bottom that typically made me confused on hierarchy of the post.

Nice find. This topic might be appropriate on Meta section since this is all about forum feature but I guess its still good to share for newbie. This is not new but I think not many user here notice that icon because it’s so small.
1230  Other / Meta / Re: How can I increase my merit? on: March 10, 2023, 03:42:16 PM

Hi I'm a newbie here and would love to ask for advices on how to have a good background here?

Is merit important and should I interact more?

Can you guys suggest any advice thanks a lot!
Merit is very important for a bitcoin account but if you post only to earn merit you will never succeed and you will lose patience. First of all get rid of the thought of merit and always think about how you can post constructively in the forum. That is, always try to be active in the forum and share the important news from the forum with everyone. When your post is quality and when others read your post and collect some information, you will see many users are satisfied with your post and give you merit. If your goal is to achieve merit then you must change your goal.

Doing this will just make you hypocrite or in denial to get merit. You already said that merit is very important on Bitcointalk account so why you will get rid the thought of earning it. You can always use merit as a goal or inspiration to create a constructive topic or post. There’s nothing wrong to post to get merit except if you are begging for it. In fact there’s a thread that you can share your post you want to received merit which means merit source allow constructive post with a sole purpose to get merit.

I’m always trying to make my post constructive as much as possible so that a merit source or someone might give me merit once they read the content of my post. I’m not doing this get rid the shit of merit just to make my post constructive.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 10, 2023, 02:29:46 PM

Bringing a really good player does have some risks involved. A player can get injured.
When any team is spending money for any player, they always have to remember the risk versus reward.
Bringing in someone like Kevin Durant is of course going to be a high risk, high reward move.

And that's exactly what's happening. He is getting injured but when he is playing he is actually playing well.

This kind of risk is given and it’s a small price to pay compared to the amount of contribution that a player can give both performance and popularity to the team which usually drives the profit of a team since many fans of that star player will now support his new found team.

The chance of a player being injured is very low also the management can check the injury records on a player before they will acquire him.
1232  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: March 10, 2023, 12:15:39 PM

I often play here at the live casino, but I always play slot games where I only bet on Olympus, moon princess, and tome of madness. Sometimes I also play baccarat because apart from being entertaining, it's also simple to play. After all, it's easy to do even if you're a first-timer.

Then I saw a lot of community gamblers also playing in the live casino, and others are betting big here according to what I see who are also players on their gambling platform.

Bitcasino is much efficient if you are playing slot because of their boosted win promotion which increase your profit on the promotional slot game for a certain period of time. Although Livecasino sometimes have an event for slot games, Bitcasino tournaments and promotion is still more focus on slot games while livecasino offers bonuses more on live games like midweek baccarat and blackjack tournament every week.

Checking on the crypto crunch leaderboard. Top players here is indeed betting big time to get top spot on tournaments because the reward is huge.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you interpret the fluctuation of Bitcoin price ? on: March 10, 2023, 11:48:41 AM

Bitcoin price has dropped below $20k from the recent high of $25k in mid February. Personally I have no problem with this fluctuation because compared to altcoins and taking the bear market into consideration, Bitcoin is still reliable and the volatility is pretty reasonable. For new potential investors, is this still a good time to invest in Bitcoin ? What do you think of the recent drop of Bitcoin price ? Please share your views.

In the long run yes because Bitcoin is deflationary and the demand is increasing. The current dip is due to the shit show happening behind the DeFi sector of crypto. This is the main disadvantage on running a ponzi on crypto and use bank to fund multiple DeFi project that is now collapsing.

In theory, Bitcoin shouldn’t be affected by this recent bad news but since crypto investors are dumb to panic on every news that is not related to Bitcoin. Market dump to an insane level due to fear. I don’t suggest to buy now but Bitcoin is a good investment in general.
1234  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Rakeback 🎲 Races 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Deposit Bonus 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 on: March 09, 2023, 12:30:29 PM

What are the arbitrage bets? What nonsense? How can you mark a player with some kind of mark for two bets?

Stop using the innocence of the forum on your own agenda about dealing your arbitrage bet issue. Simply book maker has data base for all the players that place bets on different casino. Surprised? No you knew it but you are playing victim here to gain more support.

And don't give me stupid comments. What is there to check? Either tell the player that we won't even refund your deposit, or ask the player for a KYC check.

I believe you are the one that looks stupid on your comment. You are just running in to circle here. KYC is just a standard procedure when you potentially violate any casino T&C. Besides I’m just telling you that the admin is already looking on your case and case like this resolve long shot because of the investigation etc.

Edit:

Seems like your issue was already resolved. Grats on pressuring them to give in favor for you result. Just update us if you manage to withdraw your funds.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 01:47:38 PM
You are not alone  Grin, I have a painful experience regarding to the wrong bets. I think it was a week ago where I made a parlay bet in Lima Major 2023 where I have 6 bet combo and I think the odds reached 20x. Instead of betting $20 in that 6 bet combo, I misclick another 0 and it turn into $200. When I saw it, it is already late because I already made the bet.

Of course there is a emotional discomfort even though the match is not yet started, at the end; I lost the $200. But I already move on and the good thing is I learned a lot from what happened. We should always double check the total amount of the money that we will bet for us to be sure that it is the exact money in our plan and in our mind. Better to be careful than to lose huge amount of money by technical errors.

Why you didn’t cash out your bet and take some loss if you are not confident on your bet. I believe the majority of sportsbook offer a cash out feature especially of the game is not yet started/over yet. A 6 match parlay with 20 odds is very hard to win while betting 200$ on it is just like giving it away in the casino.

I once experienced this but not on a parlay so I just bet on the other side of the match to take loss a few percentage of my bet since cash out is not available that time. I usually take small loss when I know that my bet is just a mistake rather than risk it.
1236  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Rakeback 🎲 Races 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Deposit Bonus 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 on: March 08, 2023, 12:07:20 PM
Maybe the bookmaker deigns to respond to letters from blocked players? I've been waiting for a week, I wrote both in live chat and on email, and still have not received a response regarding the blocking of my account and the fate of my money

Issue like this doesn’t resolve a day or 2 because your account has been flagged for doing arbitrage betting. I don’t know what kind of responds to while while Duckdice admin clearly answer your concern last march 6 with that explanation. Doing arbitrage bets is against casino terms of service so you should be patient on the result. You won’t be on this tight spot if you are playing normally because there’s no way in this planet that bookmaker will choose randomly to accuse for arbs betting without any basis.

You are still lucky that Duckdice is still giving you consideration for re-evaluating your case despite the game provider already flagged you as arbs better.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 05:02:18 PM
The losed money goes to the provider bank roll and they are using it to pay other players that winning. The slots have an RTP which means it return to the player the certain part of the profit it can get on all the lose money. Many players is losing but some player is winning big. The casino works like this and in case everyone is on bad luck, this money will goes to casino and game provider itself.

But it still depends on the contract between operator and the casino because some casino that they are paying wins by themselves and operator just cut a commission on a profit. Either way it will goes on their bankroll.
1238  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 07, 2023, 03:41:14 PM
User can simply based on the trust rating of the casino bitcointalk account here to determine whether it is reputable or not because shit casino usually get the negative trust they deserve if they do a scam against forum user. There’s no such thing as demand for casino review here and most of the post asking for a preferred casino is coming from newbie that don’t use search bar or too lazy to do his own research.

Gamblingbro and BTCGOSU are already enough to become a reference for a casino review because they are run by a forum user for long time.
1239  Economy / Gambling / Re: I got frusted please help? on: March 07, 2023, 12:52:57 PM
For a long time, I have been searching for gambling sites with cheaper deposit so that I could afford to play mini games, and one thing I find during those times is that, there may be sites with lower deposit requirement, but there is no such thing as no wwithdrawal requirement. This'll make it easier for people to plot schemes if there is one, or it could also be a site that isn't legitimate.

Blackjack.fun doesn’t have wagering requirements for their deposit before you can withdraw but expect that you will be required to KYC by doing that thing since it can be considered as coin mixing. But in general, casino always required x1 wagering requirements which is fair as a requirements of AML policy to avoid money laundering.

I believe OP  is looking for a casino to mixed his coin for free without any risk since you will not asked it if you are just a regular gambler.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 04, 2023, 06:14:55 PM
The simplest strategy is to save more money and invest. You don't have to starve yourself, but manage your spending on something you really need. No need to buy goods in bulk, it only makes inflation worse. Nothing too celebratory, just keep it as simple as possible. But think about the investment, it will give you a return that may be good in the long term.

I agree with some of the strategies at the OP, but about home schooling - it's just very different from person to person.
OP listed many factors to consider to live a debt free life, we must know our priorities to be able to manage and determine what is better in our lifestyle or living capacity. It’s good that OP knows how to invest and what areas he should be focus in like having home or cheaper rent as well having investments. Having multiple jobs can help too if there is time like online jobs that will not affect too much of his schedule and use the salary to make more investments for their future. During pandemic I really see the need of not having sidelines than focusing only in one job.
