...I currently spend over $80.00 per month on VPS and going up...
Look over here for better pricing http://lowendbox.com/Thank you but I own a lot of masternodes and am trying to get them on VPS others aren't on to avoid centralization. lowendbox is NOT a VPS provider. They are a "discount search engine" if you will for other providers. They announce specials, they have customer reviews, pretty much a decentralization warehouse.

If we all start buying what we want in extra DRK and after that try to make some kind of agreement not to sell. I know it might sound stupid but it might work
"Everybody start buying" sounds like a great idea, even in small amounts. "agreement not to sell" is a prisoner's dilemma. It would benefit everybody to hodl, but some people will betray the cause due to purely rational self-interest. To quote Robin Williams (as the Genie): "Well, here's hoping"

The address must be the 0 address or it won't work as far as I know.
The "0 address requirement" was removed many versions ago.

Was the PC on Windows?
Yes, soon to be resolved. Well, I need to have windows for work but I'll work something out. Try https://www.virtualbox.org/ on your linux pc. You can create a small windows setup for work stuff.

...Coinbase's CEO....we are opposite poles in cryptoland, it would not make any sense for them to integrate us... I know for a fact Coinbase will never integrate ANYTHING anonymous. They are 100% about the audit trail and big data integration. Energy should be spent elsewhere.

Could it not be someone moving coins from one account to another under their (hacked or legit) ownership?
If someone wanted to use an exchange to "move" coins from one account to another, they could simply deposit, wait, then withdraw different amounts to a new address. No need to buy/sell. Some other explanation.

lets talk about another topic, lets talk about using our wallets as liquidity providers by starting the wallet with commandline option -liquidityprovider=<n> (0 to 100, default 0, 1=very frequent, 100=very infrequent) There used to be high fees with option 1 and low fees with option 100 but with Darksend letting go of the fees (except for some sporadic fees) its much easier (and dare i say cheaper ) to run wallets as liquidity provider now. i think its time we let our wallets do some liquidity testing.. see if it works as it should be. Anyone interested trying it out ? qwizzie My LP has been up and running for a while on a dirt cheap VPS. easy.

"not a capable masternode."
Isn't that the error message when you "break" the masternode by touching the 1000 DRK at the original address? Have you looked in coin control?

Forward. How many MNs on newest ver? I'm out of home now.
i'm interested to know about that as well, we cant get any accurate info from https://drk.mn/masternodes.htmlright now as that site is still in the process of updating which could take as long as 24 hours .. so any new light on that matter would be nice as of 8:39 PM GMT we have 183 MNs on 16.6 according to my daemon.
