321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 23, 2019, 04:12:18 PM
Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....

1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.

2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.
well its really a good time to buy altcoin today but knowing which coin will survive in the next bull run is really hard
in my opinion, holding bitcoin today is much safer with a benefit of you gaining some profit because of incoming halving
investing in altcoin today have a high risk because it becomes hard to know which coin has the real value or have some potential
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Liquidity rating makes lotta sense on: November 23, 2019, 04:07:36 PM
Thanks to coinmarketcap for taking the huge step of rating crypto exchanges based on liquidity, now atleast i will some developers will start picking exchanges to list their token based on liquidity ratings, if you check the link down below

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/liquidity/?utm_source=coinmarketcap&utm_content=alert

You will see that exchanges like idax, p2pb2b and bitforex are way down on the ranking list compare to when exchanges are been rated with volumes, well exchanges with fake volumes can't have liquidity because they aren't real, now its left for developers, project teams to be smart
its good to know that coinmarkepcap have something like this today
it becomes really hard before to look at which coin have the real volume some of them is manipulated to attract investor.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: November 22, 2019, 04:27:50 PM
Bitcoin is designed to be more scarce every single day while the population is almost required to increase its demand. Why? Because people will have to sell their failed fiduciary currencies per Bitcoin. The current financial system failed already and people will realize that Bitcoin is the only system to reset everything. Governments will try to create their centralized cryptocurrencies that will fail like the fiat due to hacks and the fact that people will prefer to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a blackhole that is swallowing every single fiat bill. 10 million dollars per coin is probably too conservative. People who dont own Bitcoin now will have to own in it later. Those who are acummulating BTC right now will be the richest people in the world. Bitcoin should hit that price in the next 10 years and there is nothing that could stop it.
i agree that government can't stop bitcoin as long as there is a miner in someplace in the world transaction will continue
in my opinion bitcoin or blockchain is the new technology the country that will not adopt new technology will be left behind
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 22, 2019, 04:17:07 PM
The last week has been a little bloody... And yet, after all we've been through, I have grown numb to this feeling. Stress, sleepless nights, etc... these are all a thing of the past. In fact, I just had a delicious breakfast with my girlfriend.

For those of you that are scared of the current situation, awaiting for a sell-off, its best to remember the long-term benefits that Bitcoin and crypto bring to the table.

I recently wrote an article outlining the most important ones. Instead of getting sweaty palms thinking of the next 24-hours, use your time wiser and educate yourself by reading my post: https://paybis.com/blog/benefits-of-cryptocurrency/

Hold onto your BTC, we are the future millionnaire generation.
newbie lose bitcoin because of lack of knowledge about bitcoin
some of them think that they can earn big amount in bitcoin overnight but if bitcoin drop they will sell for lose
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: November 22, 2019, 04:13:26 PM
Recently I've heard someone's speech about keeping BTC on the exchange is not safe. But the same thing may be fair to other types of wallets — it's all about the pros and cons, isn't it?
There must be a comparison based on the number of incidents, statistics, etc.
I mean, ok, let's consider this article as a detailed guide for different types of wallets — there's an explanation, principles of working, advantages and disadvantages — but how do you actually know, which wallet will be safe? How did you choose your current wallet?

Where do you keep crypto? Have you ever been stolen?
as of now i never experience  losing coin in my wallet
until now im only using online wallet or exchange wallet
the wallet im using online i blockchain for bitcoin and MEW for ETH and token
and for exchange if im not confident in the exchange i never put large amount or trade-in that exchange

326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 22, 2019, 04:06:06 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
as long you don't invest you can still do some bounty campaign
you just need to be aware that today bounty campaign is like a gamble
you might get a big amount or waste your time
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin? on: November 22, 2019, 03:59:11 PM
As we all know, the exchange rate of Ethereum has fallen during the past few months (vs BTC). From around 0.035 BTC per coin six months back, the prices have fallen to 0.0205 BTC as of now. The market share of Ethereum in the cryptocurrency market has fallen from 11.5% to 8.3% during the same period. Other alts have also fallen, but not by this much.

And this has happened despite the boost it received from the IEOs. Can ETH manage a comeback anytime soon? Will the investors stop selling their ETH holdings for BTC, and hold on to the coin?
as of now, i think people are selling some of their ethereum because of the incoming bitcoin halving
holding bitcoin right now can be the right choice because it have high chance to get profit
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: November 21, 2019, 04:09:42 PM
I never expected anything to be easy maybe thats why i dont get worried about present market price

The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement  like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens, the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain, its never going to be that easy.
well it is not really easy for altcoin investor but if you really think the coin has a lot of potential
holding it for 2 years or for a few more years might be the best decision you make in your life
the potential of bitcoin and altcoin is really big but you also need a lot of patience
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 21, 2019, 04:00:52 PM
New upcoming projects are targeting 2020 either for good market season or because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, they want to avoid loses that is plaguing crypto space at all cost, even good projects of this year had hard time gathering needed fund and the lucky ones managed to reach softcap, what do you think about year 2020? will it be a very good year for IEO and bounty hunters?
I'm also hoping ieo and bounty campaign will get its comeback next year
but its really impossible to happen if the scams continue in coin offering
its really hard to continue doing bounty campaign this day
even the token sale look so good some of them still turn to scam or being abandon

330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any countries that accept cryptos as an actual method of payment? on: November 21, 2019, 03:57:33 PM
I heard that in Zimbabwe people use other currencies and cryptocurrencies to trade as their current monetary system has failed them. Do other countries also accept cryptocurrency as their main currency apart from Zimbabwe?

as of now, there is no country that totally accepts bitcoin and uses it as their main currency
but bitcoin can be used all over the world if you only know the right person or the right merchant that accept bitcoin
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: November 21, 2019, 03:54:37 PM
This entire bitcoin space breeds greed, envy, fear, and lust. All you of hodling bitcoin are mentally ill. You have been conned into thinking bitcoin is going to the moon. It's not. Charts show bitcoin is slowly bleeding to death. Bitcoin is no different than Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme where new bag holders are needed to pay off the earlier investors.

Mass adoption of bitcoin will never occur. Sorry! The price is far too unstable to be used as a form of payment. Businesses would get crushed if they took bitcoin as a payment due to the wild price fluctuations. Then you have to worry about the IRS on your ass to pay taxes. Is hodling worth the stress? Absolutely not. That's why women laugh at bitcoin and think it's a scam. Notice the crypto space is all dudes?

Say what you will about the US dollar, but it's still backed by a democracy and the most powerful military in human history. Accepted everywhere. Bitcoin is backed by absolutely nothing. Gold is backed by 5000 years of history of holding value, and is recognized worldwide. Women love gold. It's beautiful and tangible. A real asset worth owning.

I'm sorry, but you HODL'ers are mentally ill and are going to get crushed when bitcoin collapses in the coming recession. Bitcoin is going to get dumped fast as people need money to pay bills and survive. If you bought bitcoin early and already cashed out with gains, you are a wise investor and have my respect. If you're still hodling, your finances and reputation are on the line here. A reputation with your friends and family you can never get back. Don't risk it. Dump your bitcoin now before it wipes you out!

I've been following bitcoin for a few years and many people already said that and doubt bitcoin
but i think today they already regret it or some of them is already holding bitcoin
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? Apparently, some weird shit. on: November 21, 2019, 03:51:20 PM
So I saw this topic by Kprawn just a minute ago, with the question "What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? ". I was going to answer there, but since I really want people to know this(just because), I decided to create my own topic about it instead.

Sorry in advance to Kprawn for stealing your topic

So, what can you buy with bitcoin in 2019?

Oh boy some of you people probably haven't heard of this yet.

...

...

Bath water.

Yep. You guessed it right. Water from a bath tub whereas some female Twitch streamer took a hot bath in.

And also, it went out of stock one time.. so apparently people are actually buying them..

Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/justneckbeardthings/comments/c960p6/belle_delphine_bath_water_is_sold_out_what_in_the/

So, what do people do with the water? You ask.

Maybe people take a bath in them?

...

Apparently, based on some Reddit replies I've read(that I 100% hope that people are just trolling), some people drink them. Let that sink in.

But wait! There's more..

It doesn't end with bath water.

So I took my detective hat on and investigated what this Twitch streamer is selling besides bath water.

Well..

No one probably is going to buy that $9,999 jar of pee (I freakin hope), but yea. I lost a bit of faith in humanity when I saw this. Probably fake, idk, but don't underestimate the weirdness of men living in their mom's basement.

At least now, if some normie no-coiner says "you can't buy anything with bitcoin!" à la Peter Schiff, you now have the perfect answer.

You're welcome.

And don't freakin ask me to link the website. Have some dignity.
bitcoin is currency online as long as the seller know about it they can accept it as payment
i read some people auctioning some used stuff of some celebrity or popular person and die hard fans really bought it for collection
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 20, 2019, 01:51:08 PM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.
it not really that easy to teach other about bitcoin almost everyone doesn't want to get out from their comfort zone
so for me, I stop explaining about bitcoin to other people because if your new to bitcoin its really complicated

334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: November 20, 2019, 01:38:53 PM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

i think there will be more country that will try to ban crypto
but they will realize that its really impossible to stop bitcoin and just adopt it
as long as there is someone mining in the bitcoin network transaction will continue
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: November 19, 2019, 06:41:42 PM
After the boom of bitcoin in end of 2017 it caught eyes of general audience and many people who thought it as a great investment opportunity bought bitcoins and this is now continuing more and more people with little technical knowledge joining the bitcoin community it was essential to happen this for bringing bitcoin in mainstream but with that this made this era paradise for scammers every day many scams come into existing now their number are growing faster and they target people with less technical knowledge of bitcoin they are likely easy to get scammed some of common scams the scammer pulls are :

1. Cloud mining scam where they make users to invest in their cloud mining and give them a very small % of their amount daily and also encourage them to bring more members so they can get extra rewarded after a time when deposit amount starts to slow down and withdrawal amount starts to increase then their threshold they simply vanished.
2. Multi level marketing scam this work as from oldest days just invest an amount bring two more make your own tree and earn rewards starting ones in this scams who are able to get many other people always get profited and 99% of members who are in down ranks get scammed they do the same when incoming amounts slow down and outgoing amount reach a certain threshold they simply vanish.
3. The seed hack scammers are approaching people saying we will teach you how to make 100$ in one hour and you need to give it to us most common people don't know about seed and put their btc in online wallet such as coinbase or blockchain so scammer get their screen shared and make them transfer their btc in a wallet such as electrum and got their seeds screenshots open their wallet in their own computer and transfer the amount people had no idea what struck them .
4. Investment scams deposit x amount and get x amount this is the most common type of scams getting all over the internet it is a small amount scam usually people don't mind to fell in it by giving 5-50$ of amount to these scammers .

These are some examples of classic scams affiliated with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as bitcoin community is in main stream these types of things confuse people by saying bitcoin is a scam and what ever they try to do with it they ended up in the scam. With their less knowledge about bitcoin it is nearly impossible to make them understand that they are victim of classic scams and it is nothing to do with btc but for these scams they cant go any where or report it they feel vulnerable in using cryptos many individuals trys to point out some scams which get into main stream but this thing need to be done as a collective effort. I propose to have a plat form for normal people teaching them basics of bitcoin as a 9 year could understand all this. because community platform like bitcoin talk have a way to much advance topics which confuse or scare the new non technical people .
i agree there is a lot of scams that use bitcoin as front
this kind of scam make people confuse and they think that bitcoin is a scam

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 19, 2019, 06:16:36 PM
We all can't escape learning the hard way in crypto space, i was a victim of few scam projects, they made huge promises and promise to reward huge rewards but all failed but i have learn, many will still fall for this until they become smart by learning from their mistakes
i agree learning from a mistake is almost natural in crypto space
until now there is still a lot of scam project but as long you don't invest its not bad to try
because if you failed you will learn and get more experience in crypto

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: November 19, 2019, 06:06:32 PM
The altcoin industry have lost some big percentage of patronizers due to the poor performance of the market in the recent months, this have cause so many enthusiasts to lose interest in altcoins in general thinking the cryptocurrency industry can do with them. There's no denied the industry can do without most of the present altcoins but cryptocurrency can't can't survive without altcoins been present in general. No disrespect to Bitcoin as it started the journey but the industry have grown beyond bitcoin.

The achievement and development ethereum as a blockchain has contributed for the industry, if the industry had just bitcoin it wouldn't had recorded such developments. We can't do without altcoins, they have become a part of the industry. The sooner we realized that  the better the industry become. Don't misunderstand this post, I'm not advising against investing in bitcoin or encouraging investing in the present altcoins although, all I'm trying to say is, if you think the altcoin industry is going into exile, think again.

The altcoin industry is only going through a phase which won't kill it and as what doesn't kill you only make you stronger, the altcoin market will come out stronger as the good will be separated from the bad projects although bitcoin will always be a household name. Invests wisely and don't forget the best of the best altcoins are yet to be developed, the current ones I consider them to be just test dummies, preparing the way for future altcoins.

What's your take on this, do you think the industry can survive without altcoins that's just bitcoin been the only currency in the space.
I agree that altcoin help bitcoin and altcoin is one of the main parts that help bitcoin to grow
but as of now, it is still better to wait until we see which altcoin will survive
by doing it we will see which altcoin has a real goal and real supporter.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 18, 2019, 04:30:34 PM
Read the full article on the challenges and possible solution to living on Bitcoin daily here: www.forrestvisions.com/blog/living-on-bitcoin

Who here uses Bitcoin daily or lives on the financial crypto market?

I personally use Bitcoin wherever I possibly can, and accept it directly without converting it to fiat immediately. I have been using Bitcoin daily for years. (Ever since Bitpay started improving its Bitcoin debitcard product)

as of now, it is really hard to live only using bitcoin
in my country, until now you can't live only using card almost all the transaction is using real cash
like transportation, small groceries, and even small restaurant

339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you close your Bank account, when your Bank turn against Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 04:25:00 PM
We see a lot of these Banks that wants to sabotage Bitcoin and Crypto currencies by closing people's Bank accounts. When this happened in

countries like Australia, some people closed their Bank accounts in support of these people and they moved their business to other Banks that

supported Crypto currencies. They also took this to court and the court decided that this was anti-competitive behavior and they were forced to

stop that. So, the question is simple : Would you close your Bank accounts, when your Bank turn against Crypto?

Do we need new Banks that would go up against these large Banks to facilitate the conversion of Fiat to Crypto currencies? I think Banks doing this

will quickly change their policies, once millions of people start moving their accounts to Banks that supports Crypto currencies.

We do not need Banks, because P2P conversion is possible without Banks, but it just makes things so much easier for people dealing with exchanges.

What do you say? Please participate in the Poll.  Tongue
for me, if ever my current bank close my account because the transaction came from crypto ill try another bank instead
looking for an alternative is better than wasting time talking to them to the thing they don't want to understand, a bank is only an option.
as a crypto user, we can trade directly to the other person and i know some of them will be happy to buy our crypto
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum ERC20 Tokens Are Gaining in Total Market Capitalization on: November 18, 2019, 04:15:02 PM

Recent data shows that ERC20 tokens on Ethereum are gaining more and more market share relative to the main project.

Could we see a resurgence of ERC20 tokens on Ethereum?

After 2017, many of them were associated with failed ICOs and no use-case. Many thought that the hype around ERC20 tokens was largely dead. After all, 2018 was a rough year for Ethereum and its token ecosystem. However, ERC20 tokens have bounced back in 2019 despite all odds.

Click here for the full news link

We all know that we’re still waiting for the altcoin season to come, and mostly are coming from ERC20. I don’t know if you guys agree with me or not, but despite the ERC20 tokens are gonna have a resurgence, there’s no guarantee that their prices would lift of as well. It still depends on the project and the number of supporters, interested investors, partners, etc.

The gain was just on the number of ERC20 tokens, not the price and I believe it would not impact well. 2017 was indeed an altcoin season where we can see the price surge of those tokens, but it also creates opportunity for scammers to ride in the trend as well. Most ICOs have failed back then and turned to shitcoins, and it still contributes to the number of ERC20 tokens as of today.

i agree the price of the token really depends on the number of investor , supporter and the purpose of the token
and we cannot depend on the volume because it can be manipulated in exchange so it really hard to know if it is legit
