321  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 17, 2019, 01:08:37 PM
Bitcoin is not even 5% of its accomplishment yet. The potential is not that shallow that it will die in its infancy.

Bitcoin cannot be over before it even start.

And mind you, Bitcoin is not about the price of BTC. That is the least significant portion of Bitcoin's growth.

324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap website with low fees to trade and convert btc to ethereum ?? on: December 17, 2019, 10:02:11 AM
someone know a good website to convert bitcoin to ethereum with low fees ? and without kyc verification

Although there are several exchanges that do not require KYC verification but that is only applied up to a certain limit. You have to indicate how much ETH or BTC you are going to convert. Binance, for example, allows non-KYC transaction but only up to 2 BTC. Others have lower or higher limit for non-KYC accounts.

328  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 🔥The BITCOIN Market Psychology (Nakakaurat minsan) Sad but True🔥 🔥 on: December 16, 2019, 10:40:52 AM

330  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Top Crypto Sportsbooks sa Pilipinas on: December 16, 2019, 09:55:18 AM
Binoto ko syempre yung nakasanayan ko na. Sportsbet tsaka cloudbet.
331  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Stock market: P127B lost after Duterte hits water firms on: December 15, 2019, 02:22:22 PM
After Marcos, all the President that were elected are corrupt,.. only Duterte stands for the people and that's the kind of political well that people are looking, not afraid of anyone even the big businessmen like Ayala and Pangilinan,,with our support, the government will win this battle and hopefully the water, electricity or even the internet will be manage by the government.

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun’s Weibo Account Has Officially Been Shut Down on: December 15, 2019, 02:02:32 PM

That's not 100% accurate, China is already like 70% Cashless, China isn't against the
Blockchain industry, China i simply against anything that make it it unable to trace your transactions, that's all. It's already Big Brother i watching you since decades, they won't let it go for Blockchain or anything else, it is what it is.

China has capital controls, so it is against anything that allows you to take money out of China without the permission of the Chinese government.

Bitcoin, Tron, ETH and others are all decentralised and can be sold for dollars outside China. So China will ban anything that you can buy with yuan in China and then sell later for dollars outside China.

China is too fearful that a portion of their wealth will go out from their territory. This is so Chinese an attitude. Even Chinese families do not want anybody to marry someone else not Chinese so that their wealth won't get outside their web. This is also what the government is doing.

Justin Sun may have earned the ire of some powerful people up there. This young man has been very vocal about his project and crypto. Someone is not happy about it. The Chinese government may not be happy about it.
333  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Accounting for Cryptographic Assets on: December 15, 2019, 01:18:15 PM
  • Cryptocurrency - more like mga Coins para sa atin (may sariling blockchain)
  • Asset-backed token - ito yung mga backed by fiats, gold or other minerals, physical assets, at iba pa.

Correct me if I'm wrong, yang stable coin (PHX) ng unionbank ay na belong sa Asset-backed token, right?

So one is to one yan. Hindi pwedeng may isang USDT or PHX na walang actual na isang piso o isang dolyar na nagsusuporta sa kanyang value.

Sayang, 0.027BTC prize pool.

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Credits reach new ATH and be top 20 EOY? on: December 14, 2019, 02:28:54 PM
It is very far from creating a new ATH. The chart is vividly showing us that it will take a long time before the price of Credits will even reach halfway to its ATH. A bull season will be of help but it is sad that we are still waiting for it until now.
337  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Gamitin ang Notification Bot ni Piggy on: December 14, 2019, 02:08:50 PM
Habang offline pa si Maggiordomo, pwede siguro gamitin yung Bitcointalk Quote Notifier | push notifications ni hatshepsut93 as an alternative.

Salamat dito. Sobrang laking tulong nito.
338  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: December 14, 2019, 12:53:52 PM

339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of the XLM supply on: November 06, 2019, 03:39:57 AM
Half of the XLM supply is gone. The team has burned about 55BXLM, do you think this is a good step for the tokenomics
https://www.coindesk.com/stellars-foundation-just-destroyed-half-the-supply-of-its-lumens-cryptocurrency
For me, does supply really have much impact on token price? Token demand is crucial regardless of the supply number
Just read about it now and i decided to share

That is not fully tokenomics. That is simply lowering the supply with the hope that the lower supply will somehow meet the demand and will increase the value of the Stellar token. Tokenomics is creating a consistent and sustainable environment for the investors to continue supporting Stellar and its products. A sound tokenomics will attract more investors. A burning is a just a one-time act that does not guarantee the continuous demand for XLM. It will cause a pump though if it involves a large amount such as what Stellar is burning right now.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stellar (XLM) do it again ? on: November 06, 2019, 03:04:13 AM
I think with them burning all of those coins and then giving a bunch away it will draw more interest in the project. Whenever those XLM hit everyone's Keybase wallets, there's a lot better chance for people to hold them thinking they may eventually be worth something now. However, it will probably not be good for the price in the short term with all of the coins that will be dropping.

It has actually caused a quick pump for the price of Stellar (XLM). That was 55 billions of Stellar (XLM) burned. That was a big deal to the Stellar community and those who are observing Stellar's development. That was billions of USD burned from Stellar's wallet. That was a big step done by the Stellar team. But then after the quick pump, it was followed by a red candle immediately. Stellar has to show more than just token burning.
