Before entering a position you must have your own target price already. I am not much after on the gain % since it really depends on your analysis. 3% is my minimum gain otherwise it's not worth it. There are also times when I only sell my capital and let those gains move up or down especially when the market is good and the coins has a promising tech, dev and community.

I also prefer averaging rather than setting a stop loss. Sometimes I even hold coins even when it dips too hard just because I am confident on their technology. You understand your TA. If you think it will come back sooner then maybe averaging is nice but if it says it will take time or it is unpredictable then take the loss. 

Segwit2x will continue but a weaker version which cannot be able to overthrow Bitcoin Core. This means Bitcoin holders will still get free money.  Anyway I am not against this. Let SW2x  work their own version and see if they are really capable of launching a better version of Bitcoin.

I think you need to read, study and understand more about crypto before posting in this forum. This forum is about bitcoin and other crypto currency talks that make sense. Bitcoin will become more scarce when all of its supply are mined. When supply is getting scarce due to high demand then the price will have no any other destination but upward.

In my country Bitcoin is legal. But our central bank and legislative house is currently studying bitcoin and the whole crypto world. They might impose more regulations in the near future. Taxes is what hurts most if in case they will implement highers taxes at this. Too much volatility on Bitcoin price is what makes it hard to be widely accepted by large companies.

$2,000 to $2,500 is also my bet. I think Jihan Wu and his gang dumped their bitcoins and bought BCH as they will be focusing their mining rigs soon. There will be a coming correction of course but most probably it won't go down to 3 digits anymore.

Isn't proven enough time after time? I started having Bitcoins when it was around 600 usd. Now I am very happy with its results. I always keep bitcoin even though I am a trader and a bit addicted on altcoins. Despite losing some bitcoins starting 2nd half this year when alts are bleeding I am still gaining in terms of fiat. I really believe bitcoin is still on its way to break $10,000 perhaps this year.

I think so. Many non Bitcoin believers keep saying it is just a bubble yet it continue to grow until now. Now that Bitcoin Core proves strong enough to control their blockchain then perhaps that says their future is a bit stable from now on. Ever since, the miners are the real threat but it ends this month.

I am interested on what will happen next. But I am pretty confident Bitcoin will recover from this dip. I don't know how deep it is, maybe $5000. I am willing to take a bet that bitcoin reaches $10,000 before 2018 ends. We can use reliable escrows here to mediate.
