I am new to this market.
It is a forum, not a market.

I want to ask you why do you have so many gold coins in your account and how to get as many as you?
Some must-read topics that are sticky ones in Meta, Beginners & help boards.

I invite you to read A welcome message. You should read it when you have time.
3242  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the activity of my account still 14? on: July 23, 2021, 01:56:51 AM
You can miss out on activity periods if you don't post in one or more 2-week activity periods, right?  If that's the case, then we're definitely on the same page, and I still think OP will figure this out once he gets past the 28 activity phase.  After that, things should start becoming routine as long as he keeps posting routinely.
Sure.

Let's consider 2 consecutive windows, 28 days in total.

If member A post one in the first window, on any day from day #1 to #14, then make 27 posts in the second window, from day #15 to #28, that one will get a max activity point at 28.

If member B does not post any post in the first window, then make 28 posts in the second windows, that one will get only 14 activity point.
3243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hey newcomer's if you have a IMGUR then you can upload an Image on: July 23, 2021, 01:38:47 AM
Imgur.com is not the only one for image uploading. You can see more websites there:Bilder im Bitcointalk verwenden.

Imgur.com looks like the best one to use on the forum.

Okay sir thanks for your the additional knowledge about imgur I highly appreciate your comment
I am glad to help you here. By the way, you don't have to call me as Sir. It is unnecessary because everyone should be equally treated.  Smiley
3244  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the activity of my account still 14? on: July 23, 2021, 01:25:51 AM
Basically as I understand it, when you first register you get 1 activity point for every day that you post up until an activity of 14.  After that, if you post at least once in every 2-week period, you'll get 14 activity points.  So if, at a minimum, you post once every two weeks from here on out, you'll increase your activity by 14 points--no more, no less--every two weeks when the activity period changes, usually on Tues-Wed, depending on your time zone.
If you post once in each 14-day period, you will mark that period of activity with that single post and have a potential 14 activity points. You will only get that 14 activity points whenever you make enough 14 posts.

Why do I say it is potential point? You can make 13 other posts one month, two month later in order to fill that lack of 13 posts for 13 potential activity point in that 14 days.

If you notice, for users who currently have total posts exceed total activity points, after the activity recount of the forum, if they make only one post (to mark a new 14-day period), their activity will be updated with 14 more points (usually 1 hour after the post publishing time). Because their abundant posts in the past will be counted for the new 14-day period as well.

LoyceV can whitelist users as I see the announcement Remove Proxyban (evil fees) - get whitelisted for free

There are guides and rules in that topic, you must read it. Not all applicants will be whitelisted, obviously. It breaks the main purpose of Whitelisting if all applicants can easily be approved.

One more thing, you can send your Whitelist request one time. If you get whitelisted when you are newbie, later when you rank up to Full member, you will not be able to get another whitelisting.

People who face it rough the most are those think trading is a get rich quick scheme. One must invest in a lot of their time in research, learning and patience when trading. To some people the get gains within a couple of weeks, other it go for more than 10 years. So one must be ready to take on whatever comes their way.
It is not my advice, but with investment, patience will give good rewards. Obviously, investments should be made with legit projects, not scam ones.

I meant, sometimes, lazy investors don't do any research, just hear from the others, and take risk to invest. If they are luckily enough to invest into good projects and they have at least sort of characteristics of investors, patience, they can end with good profits.

With trading, especially leverage tradings, they will have no chance. Make serious mistakes, ok, the market will liquidate their positions and 70 to 80% of capital will be gone with liquidation. Repeat mistakes a few times, all capital will be gone.
3248  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange won't release bitcoins unless I verify identity. Advice appreciated. on: July 20, 2021, 03:25:11 PM
The OP mentioned that he registered when KYC was not yet required. And because paxful changed their terms of service, maybe the OP was not aware that KYC is already mandatory on this platform. Too bad, if he can't get out his funds. Why not just submit your KYC docs and be done with it? Because if he will hire a lawyer, he may end up paying for fees that has no assurance that he can get his funds back.

One thing though, someone advised above that put pressure on paxful by being noisy in social media. That is, if he has the patience to do so.
Another rule, What Countries Require ID Verification?.

OP know what he did, and you can not listen to a story from one side and make conclusions.

Additionally, the forum and moderators are not responsible to solve such case. As being said, go to the Paxful website and create a support ticket. Things need to be done officially.

What causes account restrictions?

Here are some of the activities that can lead to your account being restricted:
  • Seller of cryptocurrency asking to cancel the trade after the payment was completed.
  • Conducting a trade outside of Paxful trade escrow by communicating through Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.
  • Making a chargeback or reversing the payment after it has been processed.
  • Coin locking or holding a seller’s cryptocurrency in escrow without the intention to make the payment and complete the trade.
  • Unauthorized use of gift cards, such as selling a gift card in multiple trades and selling gift cards that have already been used.
  • Forcing or tricking a trade partner to immediately release their cryptocurrency.

Paxful has zero tolerance for the following:
  • Using multiple Paxful accounts.
  • Using a fake identity or falsified verification documents.
  • Using Paxful from an OFAC banned country listed on this page.
  • Unauthorized use of gift cards / chargebacks / defrauding users.

You know what you did, but if you want to appeal or get support, open as support ticket and wait. How to Contact Support

Some newbie in trade and they have not enough knowledge regards in trading after that they take a risk an they just lose, all they will say that trading is a scam ,fake, not reliable, and not Good to trade. That's why they lost their faith about trading . That's why some traders here give some advice on how to trade or before you trade we must learn how to enter in trading.
Newbies have to learn about wallets (custodial, non-custodial). Do their own research about exchanges (reviews, ie.)
Learn basics about the market price cycles, psychological cycle.

What is crash on the market? And why such crash happen? When it usually happens and sort of things have relations with those crashes (good/ bad news, fuds, regulations)

Be woke that Trading is not Gambling.

Carefully start a trading carreer with 1 % of capital. Repeat it 10 times and waste 10% of capital to learn 10 lessons from the market. Grow up with more skills and experience. It's not easy.

The bear market filters good and bad traders, not bull market.

3253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 19, 2021, 04:23:34 PM
And I wouldn't blame them for that. Controlling emotions and understanding the concept of which trading is both losing and winning takes time to actually take in. A LOT of time imo.
Controlling emotion is very difficult when you are in open positions, use leverages, especially if you are trading with big capital and with loan capital.

Vital advice, always use your own money to trade or invest. Loan will cause pressure of loan repayment and loan interests as well. When you have unstable emotion and are under pressure of loan repayment, you might make bad decisions. Consequently, loses will knock your doors.

Instead of trading, let's buy, dca and hodl!

3254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Historical Corrections - Don't worry on: July 19, 2021, 03:41:31 PM
The only thing I know is that many in our crypto community trusts Bitcoin so much they don't really talk about the dip but rather they always talk about what possibilities Bitcoin may bring in the future. These historical corrections will not really cause any panic among hard line Bitcoin supporters but rather to them it is a proof that Bitcoin can reach greater heights and all they need to do is to continue in investing in the said cryptocurrency.

Nobody can reveal the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto so far.

To be correct, just call Satoshi Nakamoto or a brief version, Satoshi or satoshi. A bit difference from username on the forum and in the Whitepaper.

Let Satoshi is Satoshi.
3257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dust coin on: July 18, 2021, 02:55:50 PM
Lots of people will have been noticing small amount on coin remaing in there wallet after selling a coin in which most people don't really know what it is called. Small amount of coin always left in your wallet is called DUST COIN. These are small amount of coins which are always remaining in your wallet which are lower than the amount of coin in which you can sell.
I guess you are talking about leftovers on exchanges. If exchanges allow, like Binance, you can convert your leftovers to BNB, a few times per day.

If you have leftovers in your non-custodial wallets, you can consolidate it. Consolidations should be done when transaction fee is cheap.

Dust attacks with dust coins are different, you can discover in that tutorial. @fillippone explains very carefully about it.
3258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: July 18, 2021, 02:30:55 PM
So a month of under 20s on that index, and a month of tight range trading between 30-35k. Sounds about right for me. Actually really surprised we're still keeping noses above 30k on the weekend, given all that Grayscale fearmongering. All that plus Musk seems to be ALREADY priced in though, so maybe we're actually already seeing the worst of it?

Feels nice to be able to stack sats for so long.
FUD about Grayscale is proven as FUD, not fact.  Cool

The Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model is still validated. There are outliers, always, at which the market tests us and weak hands will shake their hands, capitulate around outliers.

After outlier tests, in order to make us surprised, liquidate gamblers, clean the market, the market will move on a track it should be.

Bitcoin is below $34K, triggered by Elon Musk's energy FUD and China's mining crack down.

There is also a more fundamental reason that we see weakness in June, and possibly July. My worst case scenario for 2021 (price/on-chain based): Aug>47K, Sep>43K, Oct>63K, Nov>98K, Dec>135K

What are your thoughts on Bitcoin minig?
Don't think of mining if you only have small capital. To mine and get profit, you must be both miners and hodlers. If you feel that you can not hold your Bitcoin a few months, sometimes, you will in pressure of selling your awarded bitcoin for power bill.
3260  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk doesn't get enough recognition for its contribution to crypto on: July 18, 2021, 03:22:49 AM
It should be probably done by Theymos, that's if it should be done at all and it should be in a way that, some of the credit from its auction in percentage is always redirected to the forums treasury. It could be a thing, just as the cypher or crypto punks that meant virtually nothing transformed to mean something significant in NFT.
theymos won't do that. He will not break his reputation to join NFT on behalf of satoshi or the forum.

Furthermore, the forum does not need money from donation so I can't imagine why he do this with NFT.
